検体抽出キット、および、検体抽出方法
 本開示は、可撓性を有した筒状容器内で検体を抽出する検体抽出キット、および、検体抽出方法に関する。
 検体を含有しているまたは検体が付着している可能性のある抽出対象部材から検体を抽出するために用いられる筒状容器では、抽出対象部材から多くの検体を抽出することが望まれている。特許文献1に記載される抽出の方式では、筒状容器内の抽出対象部材が筒状容器を介して指で押圧されて挟まれることによって、抽出対象部材から検体が絞り出されている。

 しかしながら、抽出対象部材が単に押圧されて挟まれる方式では、抽出対象部材によっては押圧力の殆どが抽出対象部材に作用しない場合がある。
 本開示は、検体抽出効率が高められる検体抽出キット、および、検体抽出方法を提供することを目的とする。
 本開示の一態様に従う検体抽出キットは、抽出液を収容するように構成される可撓性を有した筒状容器と、前記筒状容器に収容される抽出対象部材と、前記筒状容器の周壁を挟んで相互に対向する複数の挟持部と、相互に対向する前記挟持部間を連結する弾性変形可能な連結部と、相互に対向する前記挟持部の各々に設けられて前記筒状容器および前記抽出対象部材を折り曲げるように構成される折り曲げ部と、を備える。
 この構成によれば、抽出対象部材が筒状容器内に収容される状態で、筒状容器および抽出対象部材が折り曲げ部によって折り曲げられる。結果として、抽出対象部材が指などで単に押し潰される抽出の態様と比べて、抽出対象部材における変形の度合いは大きく、それゆえに、検体抽出効率が高められる。
 検体抽出キットは、相互に対向する前記挟持部に設けられ、前記折り曲げられた前記筒状容器および前記抽出対象部材をさらに扱く扱き部を備えることができる。

 筒状容器10は、可撓性を有した筒体であって、上側端部に開口を有し、かつ、下側端部に底を有する。筒状容器10は、下側端部に向けて徐々に細くなる部分を有し、かつ、長軸方向DFに引き伸ばされたような扁平筒形状に形成されている。筒状容器10における上側端部には、円形孔である容器開口11が形成され、容器開口11の周囲には、筒状容器10の周方向の全体にわたるフランジ部12が形成されている。筒状容器10における下側端部は、長軸方向DFにおける幅が第1容器幅W1として設定され、長軸方向DFと直交する方向における幅が第2容器幅W2(図4参照)として設定される。また、筒状容器10にて下側端部に向けて徐々に細くなる部分では、その上端における長軸方向DFでの幅が第3容器幅W3として設定され、筒状容器10における肉厚が容器肉厚Tとして設定される。なお、抽出対象部材EMにおける2つの折り曲げリブ23間での短軸方向DVでの幅が抽出対象部材肉厚Pとして設定される。
 筒状容器10の形成材料は、可撓性を有する樹脂であればよく、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリ塩化ビニル、シリコンゴム等が用いられる。なお、筒状容器10は、透明であっても不透明であってもよいが、抽出対象部材EMの位置や、検体が抽出液へ溶出する状態を利用者が目視で確認できるように、透明または半透明であることが好ましい。さらに、筒状容器10の上側端部には、筒状容器10に収容される抽出液を外部へ導出するノズルが取り付けられてもよい。
 挟持部材20は、側面視で逆U字状断面を有する折り曲げられた板状部材であり得る。挟持部材20の形成材料には、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ABS樹脂、ポリスチレン、AS樹脂、ポリカーボネート、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリ塩化ビニル、ばね鋼材等が用いられる。挟持部材20は、例えば逆U字状である。挟持部材20は、例えば湾曲した折り曲げ部であり得る連結部と、その連結部から遠隔にある2つの自由端部に向かって延びる2つの挟持部21とを含む。2つの挟持部21は、相互に対向する平板であり得る。2つの挟持部21における外側面は、挟持部材20または筒状容器10の軸線または延在方向に沿った1つの平面に対して相互に面対称であり得る。各挟持部21の外側面は、粗面化されていてもよく、例えば挟持部21の延在方向と直交する複数の滑り止めリブ22が形成されてもよい。
 2つの挟持部21の内側面には、内向きに突き出た突出部としての折り曲げリブ23が形成される。折り曲げリブ23とは異なる位置において(例えば折り曲げリブ23の上側)、挟持部21の内側面から内向きに突き出たガイドリブ24が形成されている。各折り曲げリブ23、および、各ガイドリブ24は、長軸方向DFに沿って挟持部21の全体にわたり形成されている。
 各挟持部21の上側端部は、上側に向けて突き出るかたちに折り曲げられた連結部としての板バネ部25に連結されている。板バネ部25は、延在方向と直交する方向において挟持部21の全体にわたり連結され、これら2つの挟持部21と板バネ部25とは、一体に成型されている。そして、2つの挟持部21の先端部が、例えば、指によって摘ままれて、図1の白抜き矢印で示されるように、相互に近づく方向に向けて外力を受けるとき、板バネ部25の曲率半径が小さくなるかたちに板バネ部25は弾性変形して、2つの挟持部21の各々は相互に近づく。この際に、2つの挟持部21の各々は、板バネ部25を略揺動中心として変位して、2つの挟持部21の先端が特に相互に近づき、2つの挟持部21において相互に近づく度合いは、挟持部21の基端から先端に向けて徐々に大きくなる。
 板バネ部25の外側面には、板バネ部25から上側に向けて延びる円筒状に形成された差し込み筒部26が連結されている。差し込み筒部26の内部には、板バネ部25を貫通して2つの挟持部21の間の隙間に通じる円形孔である差し込み孔27が形成されている。差し込み孔27は、差し込み孔27に対する筒状容器10の差し込み、および、抜き出しができる大きさに形成され、差し込み孔27の内径は、フランジ部12の内径と略等しく、かつ、フランジ部12の外径よりも小さい。差し込み筒部26の周壁には、延在方向に沿って延びる2つの切り欠き28が、差し込み筒部26の延在方向の略全体にわたり、相互に対向する位置に形成されている。各切り欠き28は、例えば、利用者の指先と同程度の大きさに形成されている。差し込み孔27は容器受承ポートの一例である。
 差し込み筒部26における上側端部には、規制部29が形成されている。規制部29は、差し込み筒部26における上側端部のうち、2つの切り欠き28に挟まれる2つの部位の一方にのみ形成されている。規制部29は、差し込み筒部26の上側端面26aから拡径された部分であり、差し込み筒部26の内径よりも大きい内径を有する円弧が上方に向けて連続する円弧面状に形成されている。規制部29における上側端部には、差し込み筒部26の径方向の外側に向けて延びる操作片29aと、差し込み筒部26の径方向の内側に向けて延びる係止爪29bとが形成されている。
 図2に示されるように、円弧面状に形成された規制部29の内径Diは、筒状容器10におけるフランジ部12の外径と略等しい。そして、規制部29の内側面とフランジ部12の外周面とが向かい合うとき、フランジ部12の下側への移動は、差し込み筒部26の上側端面26aによって規制され、フランジ部12の上側への移動は、規制部29に形成された係止爪29bによって規制される。
 図3の白抜き矢印で示されるように、規制部29に形成された操作片29aに対し、差し込み筒部26における径方向の外側下方に向けた力が加わるとき、係止爪29bを含む規制部29の略全体が弾性変形して、規制部29の略全体が径方向の外側下方に向けて撓む。次いで、規制部29が撓んだ状態から、差し込み孔27の内部に筒状容器10が差し込まれると、フランジ部12の下側面が差し込み筒部26の上側端面26aと当接する。そして、フランジ部12の下側面と差し込み筒部26の上側端面26aとが当接した状態から、操作片29aに対する力が解除されると、規制部29の弾性変形が解除されて、フランジ部12の上側面の一部が係止爪29bによって覆われる。これによって、筒状容器10の延びる方向に沿った筒状容器10の移動は、フランジ部12と規制部29との係合によって規制される。
 なお、フランジ部12と規制部29とが係合した状態から、径方向の外側下方に向けた力が再び操作片29aに加わるとき、係止爪29bを含む規制部29の略全体が弾性変形して、規制部29の略全体が径方向の外側下方に向けて撓む。これによって、筒状容器10の延びる方向に沿った筒状容器10の移動に対する規制は解除されて、差し込み筒部26に対する筒状容器10の差し込み、および、抜き出しが可能になる。なお、こうした規制部29は、差し込み筒部26における上側端部のうち、2つの切り欠き28に挟まれる2つの部位の双方に形成されてもよいし、切り欠き28の数に関わらず、差し込み筒部26における上側端部に2つ以上形成されてもよい。
 図4に示されるように、一方の挟持部21である第1挟持部21Aの内側面では、他方の挟持部21である第2挟持部21Bに向けて、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第1ガイドリブ24Aとが突き出ている。第2挟持部21Bの内側面では、第1挟持部21Aに向けて、第2折り曲げリブ23Bと第2ガイドリブ24Bとが突き出ている。挟持部材20では、2つの挟持部21の相互に対向する方向が、挟持方向として設定される。なお、本実施形態では、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとが、折り曲げ部および扱き部を兼ねた突出部として機能する。
 第1挟持部21Aでは、第1挟持部21Aの先端と差し込み筒部26の上側端面26aとの間の延在方向における距離が、筒状容器10の延在方向における長さである容器高さHとして設定される。また、第1挟持部21Aの先端と第1折り曲げリブ23Aとの間の延在方向における距離が第1折り曲げリブ高さH3Aとして設定され、第1挟持部21Aの先端と第1ガイドリブ24Aとの間の延在方向における距離が第1ガイドリブ高さH4Aとして設定される。さらに、第1折り曲げリブ23Aにおける延在方向に沿った厚さが第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aとして設定され、第1ガイドリブ24Aにおける延在方向に沿った厚さが第1ガイドリブ厚さT4Aとして設定される。
 第2挟持部21Bでは、第2挟持部21Bの先端と第2折り曲げリブ23Bとの間の延在方向における距離が第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bとして設定され、第2挟持部21Bの先端と第2ガイドリブ24Bとの間の延在方向における距離が第2ガイドリブ高さH4Bとして設定される。また、第2折り曲げリブ23Bにおける延在方向に沿った厚さが第2折り曲げリブ厚さT3Bとして設定され、第2ガイドリブ24Bにおける延在方向に沿った厚さが第2ガイドリブ厚さT4Bとして設定される。
 第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとの間の延在方向における距離が折り曲げ幅HCとして設定される。第1折り曲げリブ23Aの先端と第2折り曲げリブ23Bの先端との間の挟持方向における距離が挟持幅WPとして設定される。さらに、第1ガイドリブ24Aの先端と第2ガイドリブ24Bの先端との間の挟持方向における距離がガイド幅WGとして設定される。
 第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとは、延在方向において相互に異なる位置に配置され、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが、第1折り曲げリブ高さH3Aよりも大きい。これら第1折り曲げリブ高さH3Aと第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bとは、筒状容器10を折り曲げやすくし、かつ、検体抽出効率を高めるうえで、容器高さHに対して下記式1を満たすことが好ましい。

 なお、第1折り曲げリブ高さH3Aが0mmである構成でも、筒状容器10を折り曲げることは可能である。ただし、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとが、抽出対象部材EMを折り曲げて更に抽出対象部材EMを扱き、これによって検体抽出効率をさらに高めるうえでは、第1折り曲げリブ高さH3Aと第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bとが、下記式2を満たすことが特に好ましい。

 第1ガイドリブ24Aと第2ガイドリブ24Bとは、相互に対向する位置に配置され、第1ガイドリブ高さH4Aと第2ガイドリブ高さH4Bとが略等しい。挟持部材20に対する筒状容器10の相対的な位置が、筒状容器10の差し込みの機会ごとにばらつくことを抑えるうえで、第1ガイドリブ厚さT4Aと第2ガイドリブ厚さT4Bとは、等しいことが好ましく、また、ガイド幅WGは、筒状容器10における第1容器幅W1、第2容器幅W2および第3容器幅W3に対して下記式3を満たすことが好ましい。

 そして、挟持部材20に対する筒状容器10の差し込みが円滑に進められるうえで、挟持幅WPは、ガイド幅WGおよび第2容器幅W2に対して下記式4を満たすことが好ましい。

  [検体抽出キットの作用]
 検体抽出キットを用いた検体抽出方法に基づいて検体抽出キットの作用を説明する。
 図5に示されるように、2つの挟持部21A,21Bの上側から2つの挟持部21A,21Bの間に向けて筒状容器10が差し込まれるとき、筒状容器10における下側端部は、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間の隙間を通過する。この際に、上記式3が満たされる構成にて、筒状容器10における長軸方向DFと、ガイドリブ24A,24Bにおける挟持方向とが略一致する状態で、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間の隙間に筒状容器10が差し込まれる。そして、筒状容器10における下側端部に向けて徐々に細くなる部分が、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間に差し込まれる。
 ここで、長軸方向DFと直交する方向が短軸方向DVとして設定されると、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間の隙間のガイド幅WGは、筒状容器10の下側端部における短軸方向DVの第2容器幅W2よりも大きく、かつ、筒状容器10は、筒状容器10の下側に向けて徐々に細くなる。そのため、筒状容器10をさらに差し込む力が筒状容器10に加えられると、図5の矢印RFで示されるように、筒状容器10における長軸方向DFと、ガイドリブ24A,24Bにおける挟持方向とが交差するように、筒状容器10は軸線(一点鎖線)周りで回転する。
 図6に示されるように、筒状容器10が軸線周りで回転すると、筒状容器10における短軸方向DVと、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bにおける挟持方向とが略一致する状態で、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間の隙間に筒状容器10が差し込まれ続ける。この際に、上記式3が満たされる構成であれば、2つの折り曲げリブ23A,23B間の隙間の挟持幅WPが、短軸方向の第2容器幅W2よりも大きい。そのため、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間を通過した筒状容器10の下側端部は、短軸方向DVと挟持方向とが一致する状態で、2つの折り曲げリブ23A,23B間の隙間も円滑に通過する。結果として、筒状容器10における扁平した面と、ガイドリブ24A,24Bとが相互に対向し、かつ、筒状容器10における扁平した面と、折り曲げリブ23A,23Bとが相互に対向する状態で、2つの挟持部21の間の隙間に筒状容器10が配置される。
 なお、筒状容器10における長軸方向DFと挟持方向とが直交する状態で、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間の隙間に筒状容器10が差し込まれるときには、筒状容器10が回転せず、筒状容器10における扁平した面と、ガイドリブ24A,24Bとが相互に対向する状態で、2つの挟持部21の間の隙間に筒状容器10は配置される。
 それゆえに、筒状容器10の周方向では、2つの挟持部21と筒状容器10との相対位置が筒状容器10の差し込みごとに整合するため、2つの挟持部21と筒状容器10との相対位置の違いによる抽出結果の差異が筒状容器10の差し込みごとに抑えられる。
 図7に示されるように、2つの挟持部21の間の隙間に筒状容器10が配置される状態から、2つの挟持部21が、例えば、指によって摘ままれて、相互に近づく方向に沿って外力を受ける。そして、板バネ部25の曲率が小さくなるかたちに板バネ部25は弾性変形して、2つの挟持部21の各々は相互に近づく。この際に、2つの挟持部21の各々では、2つの挟持部21の各々の先端が特に相互に近づき、2つの挟持部21において相互に近づく度合いは、挟持部21の基端から先端に向けて徐々に大きくなる。それゆえに、上記式4の満たされる構成であれば、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bの間の隙間よりも、2つの折り曲げリブ23A,23Bの間の隙間が自ずと小さくなる。
 図8に示されるように、2つの挟持部21がさらに近づくと、2つの折り曲げリブ23A,23Bからの押圧を受けて筒状容器10は折り曲げられる。そして、筒状容器10に収容される抽出対象部材EMも、筒状容器10の折り曲げに伴って折り曲げられると共に、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの先端によって扱かれる。結果として、抽出対象部材EMが指などで単に押し潰されて筒状容器10が折り曲げられない構成と比べて、抽出対象部材EMにおける変形の度合いは大きくなり、しかも、抽出対象部材EMにおける検体が抽出液のなかで扱き出されるため、検体抽出効率が高められる。
 また、抽出対象部材EMが指などで単に押し潰される方式では、抽出対象部材EMの押し潰される度合いが利用者の指の大きさや利用者の力によって大きく異なるため、検体抽出効率が利用者の手技ごとに相互に異なってしまう。一方で、抽出対象部材EMの押し潰される度合いが機械的な加圧子の押圧によって保たれる方式であれば、検体抽出効率も抽出対象部材EMごとに概ね保たれる。しかしながら、抽出対象部材EMから検体を抽出するに際し、加圧子を駆動するための駆動源や加圧子の駆動量を制御するための制御部を用いることが余儀なくされて、こうした駆動源や制御部を準備することが利用者には強いられている。
 この点で、挟持部材20を用いて筒状容器10を折り曲げる方式であれば、筒状容器10を折り曲げる支点、および、作用点が、2つの折り曲げリブ23であるから、検体抽出効率が高められることに加えて、検体抽出効率が利用者の手技ごとに相互に異なることを抑えることが可能にもなる。そのうえ、筒状容器10の延在方向の位置は、フランジ部12と差し込み筒部26との係合によって挟持部材20に対して定められる。また、筒状容器10の周方向の位置は、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bによる筒状容器10の案内によって挟持部材20に対して定められる。それゆえに、検体抽出効率が利用者の手技ごとに相互に異なることを一層に抑えることが可能にもなる。
 ここで、上記式1が満たされる構成であれば、下側に向けて徐々に細くなる筒状容器10が、筒状容器10における下側で折り曲げられるため、筒状容器10における上側で筒状容器10が折り曲げられる構成と比べて、筒状容器10の折り曲げに必要とされる利用者の負荷が軽減される。
 また、上記式2が満たされる構成であれば、2つの挟持部21が相互に近づくとき、2つの折り曲げリブ23A,23Bの間の隙間では、筒状容器10が折れ曲がり、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの先端によって扱かれる。そして、筒状容器10の内側面に挟まれる抽出対象部材EMも、折れ曲がって筒状容器10の内側面に扱かれる。それゆえに、抽出対象部材EMが単に折り曲げられる構成と比べて、検体抽出効率はさらに高められる。
  [実施例]
 検体抽出効率について実施例を用いて説明する。
 2本のペーパーポイント(長さ30mm)に一定濃度の菌液を4μLずつ吸収させた後に、これら2本のペーパーポイントを筒状容器10(長さ44mm)に収容し、筒状容器10に収容されている400μLの抽出液に先のペーパーポイントを浸した。次いで、ペーパーポイントに対して抽出処理を施した後に、抽出処理後の50μLの抽出液をテストデバイスに滴下し、検体の濃度の指標であるライン強度を15分経過後に計測して実施例のライン強度、すなわち、感度を得た。なお、菌液における検体を1.0としてライン強度を計測した。筒状容器10の各構成要素におけるサイズ、および、挟持部材20の各構成要素におけるサイズを下記抽出条件として示す。
 また、挟持部材20を用いることなく、上記ペーパーポイントが浸された筒状容器10を手で20回揉むことによって比較例のライン強度を得た。

 従来技術である手揉みの場合、感度は0.35である一方で、挟持部材20を用いた場合、感度は0.80であり、上記検体抽出キットによって検体抽出効率が高められることが認められた。
  [試験例]
 検体抽出キットにおける各構成要素と検体抽出効率との関係を回帰分析の結果に基づいて説明する。
 ライン強度、すなわち、感度を説明する因子(説明変数)を特定するために下記第1説明変数から第5説明変数を用い、説明変数以外の条件を実施例と同じくすることによって84種類の試験例におけるライン強度を得た。そして、84種類の試験例から得られたデータを用いて回帰分析を行った。重回帰分析によって得られた因子ごとの重回帰係数とP値とを表1に示す。なお、P値とは、F検定やt検定など一般的に統計学で用いられる語であり、P値が0.01よりも小さい値である場合には、有意水準1%で高度に有意であるということが言える(99%の確率で重回帰式が当てはまると言える)。
・第1説明変数:抽出回数
 筒状容器10を手で揉む回数、あるいは、挟持部材20によって筒状容器10を折り曲げる回数を5回、10回、20回、30回に変更し、これら抽出回数を第1説明変数として用いた。
・第2説明変数:第2折り曲げリブ高さH3B
 第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bを7mm、9mm、11mm、13mmに変更し、これら第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bを第2説明変数として用いた。
・第3説明変数:一般肉厚
 挟持部材20のうち、折り曲げリブ23A,23B、および、ガイドリブ24A,24B以外の部位における肉厚を1.0mmと1.5mmとに変更し、これら一般肉厚を第3説明変数として用いた。
・第4説明変数:第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3A
 第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aを2.0mmと2.5mmとに変更し、これら第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aを第4説明変数として用いた。
・第5説明変数:板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率
 板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率を800MPa、1200MPa、1600MPa、2500MPaに変更し、これら板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率を第5説明変数として用いた。
 抽出回数が10回、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが11mm、一般肉厚が1.5mm、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mm、板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率が2500MPaである試験例の感度は0.70であった。
 抽出回数が10回、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが11mm、一般肉厚が1.5mm、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.5mm、板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率が2500MPaである試験例の感度は0.80であった。
 抽出回数が10回、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが11mm、一般肉厚が1.5mm、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.5mm、板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率が800MPaである試験例の感度は0.75であった。
 抽出回数が10回、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが11mm、一般肉厚が1.0mm、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mm、板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率が2500MPaである試験例の感度は0.80であった。
 抽出回数が20回、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが11mm、一般肉厚が1.5mm、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mm、板バネ部25の曲げ弾性率が2500MPaである試験例の感度は0.80であった。

 表1に示されるように、各説明変数における回帰係数を求めた結果、重相関係数Rは0.8644であり1に非常に近く、決定係数R二乗値は0.7472であることから、重回帰分析による回帰式の当てはまりは良好であると言える。第1説明変数から第5説明変数のうち、第2説明変数(第2折り曲げリブ高さH3B)に係る回帰係数は0.0626であり、その回帰係数に対するP値は3.1364×10E-20(<0.01)と最も小さい値であることから、有意水準1%で第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが感度に高度に影響していることが認められた。
 図9に示されるように、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが大きいほど、感度の予測値は高く、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bが11mm以上の範囲において、感度の予測値は概ね飽和する。言い換えれば、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bは、容器高さH(44.0mm)の50%以下の範囲に設定されることが好ましく、容器高さHの20.0%以上35.0%以下の範囲に設定されることがより好ましい。また、第2折り曲げリブ高さH3Bは、抽出液の高さ(20.0mm)の75%以下の範囲に設定されることが好ましく、抽出液の高さの50%以上70%以下の範囲に設定されることがより好ましい。
 表1に示されるように、第4説明変数(第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3A)に係る回帰係数は0.1700であり、その回帰係数のP値は5.1238×10E-5(<0.01)と2番目に小さい値であることから、有意水準1%で第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aも感度に影響していることが認められた。
 図10に示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.5mmである標本の分散は、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mmである標本の分散よりも小さい。そして、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mmである45個の標本では、分散が0.02である一方、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.5mmである42個の標本では、分散が0.003であった。
 ここで、F検定に基づく分散性の検定を行うと、片側P値は1.05×10E-09(<0.01)であり、有意水準1%で、これら2種類の標本のばらつきに差があることが認められた。すなわち、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mmによる感度のばらつきが0.02であるのに対して、2.5mmによる感度のばらつきが0.003と約1/10と良好になることが認められた。
 さらに、上記分散による2種類の標本の平均値の差の検定を行った結果、有意水準1%で、第1折り曲げリブ厚さT3Aが2.0mmの場合の感度の平均値が0.70であるのに対して、2.5mmである場合の感度の平均値は0.75と向上することも認められた。それゆえに、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとの間隔が狭められ、抽出対象部材EMを扱くことで感度が向上することが認められた。
 以上説明したように、上記実施形態によれば以下の効果が得られる。
 (1)筒状容器10の折り曲げに伴って抽出対象部材EMも折り曲げられて扱かれるため、抽出対象部材EMが指などで単に押し潰されて筒状容器が折り曲げられない構成と比べて、検体抽出効率が高められる。
 (2)下側に向けて徐々に細くなる筒状容器10が、筒状容器10における下側で折り曲げられるため、筒状容器10における上側で筒状容器10が折り曲げられる構成と比べて、筒状容器10の折り曲げに必要とされる負荷が軽減される。
 (3)折り曲げ幅HCが、容器肉厚Tと抽出対象部材肉厚Pとの和よりも小さいため、抽出対象部材EMは効率的に扱かれる。
 (4)筒状容器10の周方向において、2つの挟持部21と筒状容器10との相対位置が筒状容器10の差し込みごとに整合するため、2つの挟持部21と筒状容器10との相対位置の違いによる抽出結果の差異が筒状容器10の差し込みごとに抑えられる。
 (5)筒状容器10の延びる方向では、2つの挟持部21と筒状容器10との相対位置が筒状容器10ごとに整合するため、2つの挟持部21と筒状容器10との相対位置の違いによる抽出結果の差異が筒状容器ごとに抑えられる。
 (6)抽出液の高さがガイドリブ高さH4A,H4Bと略等しいため、筒状容器10の折り曲げが繰り返される際には、筒状容器10の周壁に対するガイドリブ24A,24Bの押圧が繰り返されて、筒状容器10に収容された抽出液が攪拌される。結果として、検体抽出効率がさらに高められる。
 (7)2つの挟持部21の厚さが厚くなるほど、筒状容器10との接触面積が増え、結果として、検体抽出効率がさらに高められる。
 (8)図7及び8の例では、折り曲げリブ23A,23Bは、筒状容器10をジグザグに変形させる。例えば、変形した筒状容器10は、筒状容器10の軸線(図5、6の一端鎖線を参照)に沿って交互に谷折り及び山折りを有する。図8の例では、折り曲げリブ23Aの先端は、折り曲げリブ23Bの非先端部(例えば基端部)と協働して、筒状容器10を圧潰するように構成される。これらの構成のいずれによっても、検体を含有しているかまたは検体が付着している可能性のある抽出対象部材EMは、筒状容器10内の抽出液に浸されつつ折り曲げリブ23A,23Bによってジグザグに変形される。したがって、抽出対象部材EMから抽出液への検体抽出効率は向上する。なお、2つの挟持部21に対する外力が解除されて折り曲げリブ23A,23Bが遠ざかると、筒状容器10は元の形状に復帰してもよい。
 上記実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施することもできる。
 ・規制部29は、筒状容器10の延在方向に沿った移動をフランジ部12との係合によって規制する構成であればよく、例えば、フランジ部12の全周にわたりフランジ部12を締め付けるクランプが別途差し込み筒部に設けられてもよい。なお、規制部29は省略されてもよく、こうした構成であっても、上記(1)から(4)、および、上記(6)および(7)に準じた効果は得られ、さらには、規制部29が備えられる構成と比べて、筒状容器10の構成や挟持部材20の構成が簡素である。
 ・ガイド幅WGは、第1容器幅W1よりも大きくてもよく、筒状容器10での長軸方向DFの幅の最大値よりも小さければよい。こうした構成であっても、上記(4)に準じた効果は得られる。なお、ガイド幅WGは、筒状容器10での長軸方向DFの幅の最大値よりも大きくてもよいし、さらには、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bそのものが割愛される構成であってもよい。この際に、筒状容器は、下側に向けて細い円筒形状であってもよいし、下側で膨大する筒形状であってもよい。こうした構成であっても、上記(1)から(3)、および、上記(7)に準じた効果は得られる。
 ・2つの挟持部21が相互に近づく前では、上記式2が満たされなくてもよく、2つの挟持部21が相互に近づくときに、上記式2が満たされる構成であればよい。こうした構成であっても、上記(3)に準じた効果は得られる。なお、2つの挟持部21の変位する全ての範囲において、折り曲げ幅HCは容器肉厚Tの2倍よりも大きくてもよい。こうした構成であっても、上記(1)、(2)、(4)から(7)に準じた効果は得られる。また、筒状容器10の内側面に挟まれる抽出対象部材EMが、筒状容器10の内側面に折り曲げられて扱かれるため、抽出対象部材EMが単に折り曲げられる構成と比べて、検体抽出効率はさらに高められる。
 ・筒状容器10にて折り曲げられる部位は、延在方向にて筒状容器10の中央よりも上側であってもよい。こうした構成であっても、筒状容器10に収容される抽出対象部材EMが筒状容器10と共に折り曲げられる以上、上記(1)、(3)から(7)に準じた効果は得られる。また、筒状容器にて折り曲げられる部位が、筒状容器の延びる方向にて筒状容器の中央よりも下側である構成に加えて、折り曲げリブの配置される位置の範囲が広げられ、ひいては、検体抽出キットに適用される抽出対象部材EMの範囲が広げられる。
 ・図11に示されるように、第1挟持部21Aに2つの折り曲げリブ23A,34Aが設けられ、かつ、第2挟持部21Bに2つの折り曲げリブ23B,34Bが設けられてもよい。この際に、2つの折り曲げリブ34A,34B間の延在方向における幅は、折り曲げ幅HCと同じであってもよいし、相互に異なっていてもよい。また、2つのガイドリブ24A,24Bが割愛されてもよい。こうした構成であれば、上記(6)に準じた効果が得られ、かつ、筒状容器10における折り曲げ箇所の数が増えるため、検体抽出効率がさらに高められる。
 ・図12に示されるように、筒状容器10の延在方向にて、2つの折り曲げリブ23A,34Aの間に、2つの折り曲げリブ23B,34Bが配置されてもよい。こうした構成であっても、上記(6)に準じた効果が得られ、かつ、筒状容器10における折り曲げ箇所の数が増えるため、検体抽出効率がさらに高められる。
 ・図13に示されるように、第1挟持部21Aに形成される突出部は第1折り曲げリブ23Aに限らず、第1挟持部21Aそのものが第2挟持部21Bに向けて突き出るかたちに折り曲げられ、第1挟持部21Aの内向き角部を含む折り曲げ部位が、突出部43Aとして機能してもよい。また、第2挟持部21Bに形成される突出部は第2折り曲げリブ23Bに限らず、第2挟持部21Bそのものが第1挟持部21Aに向けて突き出るかたちに折り曲げられ、第2挟持部21Bの内向き角部を含む折り曲げ部位が、突出部43Bとして機能してもよい。要するに、一方の挟持部が、他方の挟持部に向けて突き出た突出部を有し、2つの突出部が、筒状容器10の延びる方向にて相互に異なる位置に配置され、2つの挟持部が相互に近づくことにより筒状容器10を折り曲げる構成であればよい。
 ・第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとは、延在方向において相互に同じ位置に配置されてもよく、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとが、筒状容器10を折り曲げる構成であればよい。
 例えば、図14に示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの先端と、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの先端とが相互に対向する部位に配置され、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの突出する量が、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの突出する量よりも大きい構成であってもよい。このような構成であっても、図14の二点差線で示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの揺動する軌跡が、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの揺動する軌跡よりも下側に配置されるため、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとが相互に近づく際に、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMは折り曲げられる。また、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと第2折り曲げリブ23Bとが相互にさらに近づけられることによって、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMは、折り曲げられて扱かれる。
 上述のように、挟持部材20にセットされた筒状容器10に対し、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの押圧する度合いと、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの押圧する度合いとが相互に異なる構成は、以下の構成に変更することも可能である。
 例えば、図15に示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの先端と、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの先端とが相互に対向する部位に配置され、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの基端が、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの基端よりも下側に配置される構成であってもよい。このような構成であっても、図15の二点差線で示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの揺動する軌跡が、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの揺動する軌跡よりも下側に配置される。
 例えば、図16に示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの先端と、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの先端とが相互に対向する部位に配置され、第2挟持部21Bと筒状容器10との距離が、第1挟持部21Aと筒状容器10との距離よりも大きい構成であってもよい。このような構成であっても、図16の二点差線で示されるように、第1折り曲げリブ23Aの揺動する軌跡が、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの揺動する軌跡よりも下側に配置される。なお、上記構成では、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが折り曲げられた後に、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが扱かれる構成であってもよいし、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが折り曲げられるときに、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが扱かれる構成であってもよい。
 ・筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMを折り曲げるように構成される折り曲げ部と、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMを扱くように構成される扱き部とは、相互に異なる部位に形成されてもよい。
 図17に示されるように、第2挟持部21Bには、第2折り曲げリブ23Bの下側に、第1挟持部21Aに向けて突き出るリブが別途形成され、そのリブと筒状容器10との距離は、第2折り曲げリブ23Bと筒状容器10との距離よりも短い。このような構成であれば、第1挟持部21Aと第2挟持部21Bとが相互に近づくとき、第1折り曲げリブ23Aと、第2挟持部21Bに別途形成されたリブとの共働によって、筒状容器10は折り曲げられる。そして、第1挟持部21Aと第2挟持部21Bとがさらに近づくことによって、第2折り曲げリブ23Bが扱き部として機能する。このような構成であれば、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMと折り曲げられることと、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが扱かれることとが、各別のタイミングで行われる。なお、上記構成では、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが折り曲げられることと、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが扱かれることとが、同時に行われるように各リブの高さが設定されてもよい。また、第2折り曲げリブ23Bが割愛されて、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが単に折り曲げられる構成であってもよく、こうした検体抽出キットを用い、筒状容器10および抽出対象部材EMが単に折り曲げる方法であってもよい。
 ・図18に示されるように、1つの挟持部21に対し、他の2つの挟持部21が対向する構成であってもよい。要するに、筒状容器10の周壁を挟んで相互に対向する複数の挟持部が設けられ、相互に対向する挟持部間が弾性変形可能な連結部によって連結される構成であればよい。
 ・挟持部21の形状は、平板状に限らず、曲板状やブロック状であってもよいし、2つの挟持部21は相互に異なる形状であってもよい。要するに、2つの挟持部21は、連結部に連結されて筒状容器の周壁を挟むことができる形状であればよい。
 ・板バネ部25は、コイルばねやブロック状の弾性体であってもよいし、2つの挟持部21とは異なる部材で構成されてもよい。要するに、板バネ部25は、2つの挟持部21を相互に近づける方向に弾性変形できる状態で、2つの挟持部21を連結すればよい。
 ・2つの挟持部21は、板バネ部25を揺動支点として相互に近づく構成に限られず、例えば、1つの挟持部21のみが、板バネ部25を揺動支点として揺動する構成であってもよいし、挟持方向に沿った単なる並進によって相互に近づく構成であってもよい。
 本開示は、以下の典型的な実施形態を含むことができる。
 一例に従う検体抽出キットは、抽出対象部材(EM)と抽出液とを収容するように構成される可撓性を有した筒状容器(10)と、前記筒状容器を取り外し可能に受承するように構成される、弾性変形可能な挟持部材(20)とを備え、前記挟持部材(20)は、前記筒状容器(10)を変形させるための少なくとも2つの突出部(23A,23B;43A、43B)を含み、前記少なくとも2つの突出部(23A,23B;43A、43B)は、前記挟持部材(20)が弾性変形されたときに、前記筒状容器(10)を押圧して前記筒状容器(10)をジグザグに変形させるように構成される。例えば、前記少なくとも2つの突出部(23A,23B;43A、43B)は、前記筒状容器(10)を前記筒状容器(10)の軸線に沿って交互に谷折り及び山折りするように構成される。
 いくつかの例では、前記挟持部材(20)は、前記筒状容器(10)を間に挟む第1挟持板(21A)及び第2挟持板(21B)と、前記第1及び第2挟持板(21A、21B)を弾性的に連結する連結部(25)とを含み、前記少なくとも2つの突出部(23A,23B;43A、43B)は、前記第1挟持板(21A)及び第2挟持板(21B)にそれぞれ形成された第1突出部(23A;43A)及び第2突出部(23B;43B)を含んでもよい。
 いくつかの例では、前記第1突出部(23A)の先端は、前記第2突出部(23B)の非先端部(例えば基端部)と協働して、前記筒状容器(10)を部分的に圧潰するように構成されてもよい。
 いくつかの例では、前記第1突出部(23A)及び前記第2突出部(23B)は、前記第1挟持板(21A)及び第2挟持板(21B)の内面にそれぞれ形成された内向き突出片であってもよい。
 いくつかの例では、前記第1突出部(43A)及び前記第2突出部(43B)は、前記第1挟持板(21A)及び第2挟持板(21B)にそれぞれ形成された内向き角部を含んでもよい。
 前記第1突出部(23A;43A)と前記第2突出部(23B;43B)とは、前記筒状容器(10)の軸線(図5、6の一点鎖線)に対して、非対称な位置(例えば図8)、非対称な長さ(例えば図14)、非対称な角度(例えば図15)、またはそれらの任意の組合せで設けられてもよい。例えば、前記連結部(25)は、前記筒状容器(10)を取り外し可能に受承する容器受承ポート(27)を含み、前記第1突出部(23A;43A)と前記容器受承ポート(27)との距離は、前記第2突出部(23B;43B)と前記容器受承ポート(27)との距離とは異なってもよい。
 いくつかの例では、前記少なくとも2つの突出部(23A,23B;43A、43B)は、前記筒状容器(10)内の前記抽出液に浸されている、検体を含有しているかまたは検体が付着している可能性のある前記抽出対象部材(EM)をジグザグに変形させるように構成される。
 本発明がその技術的思想から逸脱しない範囲で他の特有の形態で具体化されてもよいということは当業者にとって明らかであろう。例えば、実施形態(あるいはその1つまたは複数の態様)において説明した部品及び/または部分のうちの一部を省略したりいくつかの部品及び/または部分を組合せてもよい。

Claims (15)

  1.  抽出液を収容するように構成される可撓性を有した筒状容器と、
     前記筒状容器に収容される抽出対象部材と、
     前記筒状容器の周壁を挟んで相互に対向する複数の挟持部と、
     前記複数の挟持部を連結する弾性変形可能な連結部と、
     前記複数の挟持部の各々に設けられて前記筒状容器および前記抽出対象部材を折り曲げるように構成される折り曲げ部と、
    を備える検体抽出キット。
  2.  相互に対向する前記挟持部に設けられ、前記折り曲げられた前記筒状容器および前記抽出対象部材をさらに扱く扱き部を備える
    請求項1に記載の検体抽出キット。
  3.  前記折り曲げ部は、
     相互に対向する前記挟持部の各々から他の前記挟持部に向けて突出し、前記筒状容器および前記抽出対象部材を折り曲げて扱く突出部である
    請求項1に記載の検体抽出キット。
  4.  相互に対向する前記挟持部に設けられた前記突出部は、
     前記筒状容器の延びる方向にて相互に異なる位置に配置され、相互に対向する前記挟持部が相互に近づくことによって前記筒状容器および前記抽出対象部材を折り曲げて扱く
    請求項3に記載の検体抽出キット。
  5.  前記筒状容器は、下側端部に向けて徐々に細くなる部分を有し、
     前記筒状容器では、前記筒状容器の延びる方向にて前記筒状容器の中央よりも下側で前記筒状容器が折り曲げて扱かれる
    請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の検体抽出キット。
  6.  抽出対象部材と抽出液とを収容するように構成される、可撓性を有した筒状容器と、
     前記筒状容器を取り外し可能に受承するように構成される、弾性変形可能な挟持部材とを備え、
     前記挟持部材は、前記筒状容器を変形させるための少なくとも2つの突出部を含み、前記少なくとも2つの突出部は、前記挟持部材が弾性変形されたときに、前記筒状容器を押圧して前記筒状容器をジグザグに変形させるように構成されることを特徴とする検体抽出キット。
  7.  前記少なくとも2つの突出部は、前記筒状容器を前記筒状容器の軸線に沿って交互に谷折り及び山折りするように構成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の検体抽出キット。
  8.  前記挟持部材は、前記筒状容器を間に挟む第1挟持板及び第2挟持板と、前記第1及び第2挟持板を弾性的に連結する連結部とを含み、
     前記少なくとも2つの突出部は、前記第1挟持板及び第2挟持板にそれぞれ形成された第1突出部及び第2突出部を含むことを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の検体抽出キット。
  9.  前記第1突出部の先端は、前記第2突出部の非先端部と協働して、前記筒状容器を部分的に圧潰するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の検体抽出キット。
  10.  前記第1突出部及び前記第2突出部は、前記第1挟持板及び第2挟持板の内面にそれぞれ形成された内向き突出片であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の検体抽出キット。
  11.  前記第1突出部及び前記第2突出部は、前記第1挟持板及び第2挟持板にそれぞれ形成された内向き角部を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の検体抽出キット。
  12.  前記第1突出部と前記第2突出部とは、前記筒状容器の軸線に対して、非対称な位置、非対称な長さ、非対称な角度、またはそれらの組合わせで設けられることを特徴とする請求項8乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の検体抽出キット。
  13.  前記連結部は、前記筒状容器を取り外し可能に受承する容器受承ポートを含み、
     前記第1突出部と前記容器受承ポートとの距離は、前記第2突出部と前記容器受承ポートとの距離とは異なることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の検体抽出キット。
  14.  前記少なくとも2つの突出部は、前記筒状容器内の前記抽出液に浸されている、検体を含有しているかまたは検体が付着している可能性のある前記抽出対象部材をジグザグに変形させるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項6乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の検体抽出キット。
  15.  抽出液を収容するように構成される可撓性を有した筒状容器および前記筒状容器に収容される抽出対象部材を相互に対向する複数の挟持部によって挟むことによって前記筒状容器及び前記抽出対象部材折り曲げて前記抽出対象部材から検体を抽出することを備える検体抽出方法。
