Definitions
- the present invention relates to a display film and a display device including the same.
- the flexible display is not only thin and light, but also resistant to impact, can be bent or bent, and can be manufactured in various forms. In addition, ultimately, even if bent, it can be restored to its original shape and aims to be able to fold like paper.
- the window film at the outermost part of the display needs to have a high hardness because it is exposed to external impact or scratches.
- the silicone derivatives were coated or laminated on a flexible film to satisfy high hardness, but in this case, they did not satisfy enough flexibility to be used in the flexible display.
- a transparent plastic film containing silsesquioxane resin has been proposed as a film having a certain degree of flexibility (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2007-176542), the flexibility is insufficient or the manufacturing method is difficult.
- the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a display film having excellent flexibility in both directions perpendicular to the surface of the film.
- Another problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a display film with high hardness and high hardness.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a display film excellent in flatness.
- the substrate layer And a coating layer formed on one surface of the substrate layer, wherein the display film includes a first surface on the substrate layer side and a second surface on the coating layer side, the first surface being measured in a concave shape.
- the first critical curvature radius is about 10 mm or less
- the second critical curvature radius measured in the direction in which the second surface is concave is about 5 mm or less.
- the pencil hardness of the display film may be about 5H or more.
- Another aspect of the invention relates to a display device comprising the display film.
- the display film according to the present invention exhibits excellent flexibility, in particular excellent flexibility in both directions perpendicular to the film plane and at the same time high hardness can provide advantageous properties for use as a window film of the display. Since it has excellent flexibility in both directions, it can be applied to the flexible display and contribute to the flexibility of the product. When coating the coating layer on the base layer, the flatness is excellent, which shows a favorable effect on the roll-to-roll process application.

Repeat the measurement five times with a pencil of the same hardness, and mark the largest pencil hardness among the hardnesses without scratches as the surface hardness (pencil hardness) of the specimen.
- the film was placed on a flat measuring table with a 15 cm * 15 cm sized film specimen to measure the height of the four corners.
- the height of all four corners is 10 mm or less
- the case where the height of one or more of the four corners is 10 mm to 15 mm, and the case where one or more of the four corners exceed 15 mm are indicated by X.
- the transmittance is measured using an NDA2000 (Hazemeter). The average value is measured by measuring 3 points in the same sample.
- the display film of the embodiment has a high hardness, but the first critical radius of curvature is less than 10mm, the second critical radius of curvature is 5mm or less, excellent flexibility in both directions, excellent transparency and flatness Can be.
- the first critical curvature radius is very large outside the scope of the present application, the flatness is poor, and Comparative Example 3 is not suitable for being used as a display film due to its low hardness.
