Abstract
Description
本発明に係る表示パネルの貼合方法においては、真空チャンバーユニット3内に収容した表示パネルP1と貼合対象P2を真空環境下で貼合する。詳しくは、真空チャンバーユニット3のチャンバー蓋体11を開放して、チャンバー本体10の内部に設けた固定貼合台12に設けたダム治具13に表示パネルP1を装着し、チャンバー蓋体11の内部に設けた可動貼合台16に貼合対象P2を装着する工程と、ディスペンサー5で表示パネルP1に接着剤を塗布する工程と、チャンバー蓋体11を支持するアライメント台22を、アライメント構造20で調整駆動して表示パネルP1と貼合対象P2の位置決めを行う工程と、チャンバー蓋体11を閉じて、真空チャンバーユニット3内の空気を排気した真空環境下で、可動貼合台16を固定貼合台12に押し付けて貼合対象P2を表示パネルP1に貼合する工程と、真空チャンバーユニット3の全体をチャンバー傾動装置で傾斜姿勢にして、真空状態を維持した状態のままで貼合面に発生した気泡を脱気する工程を備えている。ダム治具13に表示パネルP1を装着する工程においては、表示パネルP1の周面の大半をダム治具13で封止して、表示パネルP1に塗付した接着剤の流動拡散を防いでおり、ダム治具13と接触していない表示パネルP1の周囲に未封止部34が露出される。気泡を脱気する工程においては、前記未封止部34を表示パネルP1の傾斜上端に位置させて、貼合面で発生した気泡を前記未封止部34から排出することを特徴とする。

- 真空チャンバーユニット(3)と、真空チャンバーユニット(3)内の空気を排気する真空源を備えており、
真空チャンバーユニット(3)は、チャンバー本体(10)とチャンバー蓋体(11)で構成されて、チャンバー本体(10)にダム治具(13)を備えた固定貼合台(12)が設けられ、チャンバー蓋体(11)に可動貼合台(16)が設けられており、
ダム治具(13)は表示パネル(P1)の周面の大半を封止して、表示パネル(P1)に塗付した接着剤の流動拡散を防ぐために設置されており、ダム治具(13)と接触していない表示パネル(P1)の周囲に未封止部(34)が露出されており、
チャンバー蓋体(11)を閉止して、真空チャンバーユニット(3)内の空気を真空源で排気した真空環境下で、可動貼合台(16)を固定貼合台(12)に向かって押付けて、貼合対象(P2)を表示パネル(P1)に貼合しており、
表示パネル(P1)と貼合対象(P2)を貼合した真空環境のままで、真空チャンバーユニット(3)をチャンバー傾動装置で起立姿勢にして、前記未封止部(34)を表示パネル(P1)の起立上端に位置させ、接着剤が硬化する過程で貼合面に発生した気泡を前記未封止部(34)から脱気することを特徴とする表示パネルの貼合装置。 - チャンバー蓋体(11)に、可動貼合台(16)を固定貼合台(12)に向かって押付ける貼合ユニット(17)と、ダム治具(13)に装着した表示パネル(P1)と、可動貼合台(16)を移動可能に支持して貼合対象(P2)の位置決めを行う位置決め構造(18)が設けられており、
チャンバー蓋体(11)を開放した状態において、位置決め構造(18)のアライメント台(22)をアライメント構造(20)で調整駆動して、表示パネル(P1)と貼合対象(P2)の位置決めを行う請求項1に記載の表示パネルの貼合装置。 - 複数の真空チャンバーユニット(3)が回転テーブル(1)の周方向へ等間隔おきに配置されており、
回転テーブル(1)の周囲に、真空チャンバーユニット(3)から貼合体を取出したのち、表示パネル(P1)および貼合対象(P2)を真空チャンバーユニット(3)に装着し、かつ、ディスペンサー(5)で表示パネル(P1)に接着剤を塗布する準備ステージが設けられており、
回転テーブル(1)をテーブル駆動構造で正転移動し、あるいは逆転移動することにより、異なる真空チャンバーユニット(3)を準備ステージに臨ませており、
準備ステージに位置していない真空チャンバーユニット(3)をチャンバー傾動装置で傾斜姿勢にして、貼合面に発生した気泡を脱気する請求項1または2に記載の表示パネルの貼合装置。 - 回転テーブル(1)に3個の真空チャンバーユニット(3)が周方向へ等間隔おきに配置されており、
回転テーブル(1)を120度ずつ正回転させて、異なる2個の真空チャンバーユニット(3)を準備ステージに個別に臨ませたのち、回転テーブル(1)を240度逆回転させて、残る真空チャンバーユニット(3)を準備ステージに臨ませており、
準備ステージに臨んでいない2個の真空チャンバーユニット(3)のひとつで、貼合対象(P2)を表示パネル(P1)に貼合し、残る真空チャンバー(3)をチャンバー傾動装置で傾斜姿勢にして貼合面に発生した気泡を脱気する請求項3に記載の表示パネルの貼合装置。 - チャンバー本体(10)に対して揺動開閉する蓋支持フレーム(21)に位置決め構造(18)が設けられて、位置決め構造(18)のアライメント台(22)にチャンバー蓋体(11)が装着されており、
準備ステージにアライメント台(22)を調整駆動するアライメント構造(20)が配置されており、
貼合ユニット(17)が、アライメント台(22)に固定したガイド枠(24)と、ガイド枠(24)で上下動可能に案内支持した複数のスライダー(25)と、各スライダー(25)を上下にスライド駆動する駆動機構と、スライダー(25)の上下動に同行して往復スライドする複数の貼合軸(26)を備えており、
貼合軸(26)はチャンバー蓋体(11)を内外に貫通して、その軸端がチャンバー蓋体(11)の内部において可動貼合台(16)の上部に連結されており、
チャンバー蓋体(11)の貫通穴と貼合軸(26)の間はシール体(29)で通気不能に封止されており、
チャンバー蓋体(11)を閉止して、真空チャンバーユニット(3)の内部を真空にした状態において、スライダー(25)を駆動機構でスライド駆動して、可動貼合台(16)を固定貼合台(12)に対して非平行に傾斜させた状態で貼合対象(P2)と表示パネル(P1)の貼合を開始し、

- 真空チャンバーユニット(3)内に収容した表示パネル(P1)と貼合対象(P2)を真空環境下で貼合する表示パネルの貼合方法であって、
真空チャンバーユニット(3)のチャンバー蓋体(11)を開放して、チャンバー本体(10)の内部に設けた固定貼合台(12)に設けたダム治具(13)に表示パネル(P1)を装着し、チャンバー蓋体(11)の内部に設けた可動貼合台(16)に貼合対象(P2)を装着する工程と、
ディスペンサー(5)で表示パネル(P1)に接着剤を塗布する工程と、
チャンバー蓋体(11)を支持するアライメント台(22)を、アライメント構造(20)で調整駆動して表示パネル(P1)と貼合対象(P2)の位置決めを行う工程と、
チャンバー蓋体(11)を閉じて、真空チャンバーユニット(3)内の空気を排気した真空環境下で、可動貼合台(16)を固定貼合台(12)に押し付けて貼合対象(P2)を表示パネル(P1)に貼合する工程と、
真空チャンバーユニット(3)の全体をチャンバー傾動装置で傾斜姿勢にして、真空状態を維持した状態のままで貼合面に発生した気泡を脱気する工程を備えており、
ダム治具(13)に表示パネル(P1)を装着する工程においては、表示パネル(P1)の周面の大半をダム治具(13)で封止して、表示パネル(P1)に塗付した接着剤の流動拡散を防いでおり、ダム治具(13)と接触していない表示パネル(P1)の周囲に未封止部(34)が露出されるようになっており、
気泡を脱気する工程においては、前記未封止部(34)を表示パネル(P1)の傾斜上端に位置させて、貼合面で発生した気泡を前記未封止部(34)から排出することを特徴とする表示パネルの貼合方法。 - 複数個の真空チャンバーユニット(3)が回転テーブル(1)に配置されて、回転テーブル(1)の周囲に、表示パネル(P1)および貼合対象(P2)を真空チャンバーユニット(3)に供給し、かつ真空チャンバーユニット(3)から貼合された貼合体を取出し、表示パネル(P1)に接着剤を塗布する準備ステージが設けられており、
回転テーブル(1)を所定角度だけ正回転させ、さらに回転テーブル(1)を正回転時の回転角度だけ逆回転させて、真空チャンバーユニット(3)をひとつずつ準備ステージに位置させ、
準備ステージに位置していない真空チャンバーユニット(3)を、チャンバー傾動装置で傾斜姿勢にして貼合面に発生した気泡を脱気する請求項8に記載の表示パネルの貼合方法。
