Description
차량 시스템 보안(vehicle system security) 분야에 연관되며, 보다 구체적으로 차량에 포함되는 기능 요소(functional elements)에 대한 보안 등급의 평가 및 관리 방법 및 이를 수행하는 장치에 연관된다.
초기 자동차는 기계 기술의 집합체였으나 점차 전자 부품이 결합되면서 자동 변속에서부터 원격 제어, 네비게이션과 같은 다양한 기능 및 서비스가 가능해졌으며, 자율 운전과 같은 첨단 기술을 지원하는데 까지 발전하고 있다. 일반적인 전자제품의 부품과 달리 자동차 전자 부품의 오동작은 경우에 따라 큰 사고로 이어질 수도 있다. 차량 내 전자 부품의 비중이 늘어나면서 "기능 안전"의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. "기능 안전"이란 비합리적인 리스크(risk)가 존재하지 않는다는 의미로서, 리스크 수준이 합리적이라는 것을 의미한다. 합리적인 리스크라는 것은 오동작이 발생할 확률을 전자 부품의 등급에 따라 합리적인 수준으로 낮추어 관리한다는 의미를 나타낼 수 있다.
전자 부품 등 자동차각 부품에 따라 오동작에 따른 심각성이 다르므로 각 부품에 맞게 합리적으로 리스크 등급을 결정하는 ISO 26262 표준이 제정되어 기능 안전을 위한 리스크 분석 방법과 대응 방법으로서 제공되고 있다. 다만, 오늘날 차량 내 전자 부품의 수가 늘어남에 따라 차량 내 다른 부품 또는 다른 차량과의 네트워크로 연결이 이뤄지고 있으며, 결합으로 인한 오동작뿐만 아니라 보안 위협으로 인한 의도적인 오동작이라는 위험 요소를 고려한 리스크 분석 방법이 필요하다. 또한, 산업 보안 표준인 IEC 62443은 보안 위협의 실현 가능성을 고려하지만 차량 환경의 특성을 고려하지 못하는 실정이다.
일측에 따르면, 프로세서로 구현되는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치가 제공된다. 상기 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 프로세서에 의해 적어도 일시적으로 구현되는 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대한 리스크 관리 기준을 제공하는 ASIL(Automobile Safety Integrity Level)을 할당하는 레벨 할당부, 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 상기 ASIL의 차이값에 기초하여 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 관한 조종 가능성(device's controllability)을 계산하는 계산부 및 상기 ASIL 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 상기 복수의 기능 요소들의 리스크 분석 모델을 생성하는 관리부를 포함할 수 있다.
일실시예에 따르면, 상기 계산부는 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대응하는 버텍스(vertex) 및 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 데이터 송수신 여부를 나타내는 엣지(edge)를 포함하는 그래프를 생성할 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 상기 계산부는 서로 연결되는 두 개의 기능 요소들 사이의 데이터 송수신 방향에 따라 단방향 엣지(one way edge) 및 양방향 엣지(two way edge) 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 상기 그래프를 생성할 수 있다.
다른 일실시예에 따르면, 상기 계산부는 각각의 엣지에 포함되는 두 개의 기능 요소들 사이의 상기 ASIL 차이값을 나타내는 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 생성할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 계산부는 상기 각각의 엣지에 대응하는 상기 ASIL의 차이값이 상기 엣지의 경로에 표시되는 웨이티드 다이렉티드 그래프(weighted, directed graph)를 생성할 수 있다.

다른 일측에 따르면, 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 ASIL의 차이값에 기초하여 복수의 기능 요소들의 연결 상태를 나타내는 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 계산하는 단계, 상기 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 이용하여 임의의 두 버텍스 사이의 경로에 포함되는 적어도 하나의 엣지의 웨이트 값의 합을 나타내는 이행적 폐쇄 행렬을 계산하는 단계 및 제1 버텍스로부터 연결된 경로가 존재하는 적어도 하나의 버텍스 각각의 상기 ASIL을 이용하여 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 기능 요소의 조종 가능성을 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법이 제공된다.
일실시예에 따르면, 상기 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 계산하는 단계는, 상기 복수의 기능 요소들에 대응하는 버텍스를 생성하고, 임의의 두 개의 버텍스 사이의 데이터 송수신 여부를 나타내는 엣지를 포함하는 그래프를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.

레벨 할당부(110)는 기기의 오류(fault) 또는 기능 실패(failure)에 의해 발생된 위험(hazard)에 따른 사고의 심각성(severity) 레벨, 차량의 운전 상황(operational situation)을 반영한 노출 가능성(probability of exposure) 레벨 및 기계적인 오동작이 발생한 경우에도 운전자의 제어에 의해 사고가 방지될 수 있으므로, 이러한 운전자의 통제 가능성(controllability)을 조합하여 ASIL 레벨을 할당할 수 있다. 일실시예로서, 레벨 할당부(110)의 ASIL 레벨 할당에는 ISO 26262 표준이 이용될 수 있다.
레벨 할당부(110)는 리스크 관리 기준에 관한 ASIL 등급을 할당하기 위해 사고의 심각성 레벨을 아래와 같이 판단할 수 있다. 예시적인 평가 매트릭스가 아래의 표 1과 같이 소개된다.

상기 표 4에서 QM(Quality Management)은 특별 요구사항이 없는 기본적인 품질을 나타낼 수 있다. ASIL A에서 ASIL D로 갈수록 리스크 관리를 위해 요구되는 기준이 높아지는 등급을 나타낼 수 있다. 위에서 설명된 각각의 평가 레벨들이 상기 표 4와 같이 등급화된 결과로 표현될 수도 있겠지만, 다른 실시예에서는 각각의 평가 레벨을 요소(element)로 하는 리스크 레벨 벡터(risk level vector)로 표현되는 것 또한 가능할 것이다.

레벨 할당부(110)는 상기 수학식 2와 같이 보안 상의 취약점(likelihood of exploited vulnerability) 및 위협의 실현성(likelihood of realized threat)의 조합에 따라 리스크 발생의 가능성을 할당할 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 레벨 할당부(110)는 위협의 실현성 레벨을 보안 공격에 대한 잠재적인 가능성으로서 평가할 수 있고, 구체적으로 공격자의 인적 자원, 물적 자원, 소요 시간 등을 고려하여 정해질 수 있다. 이를테면, 공격에 요구되는 관련지식 및 경험의 수준이 낮을수록, 공격에 필요한 장비 수준이 낮을수록, 공격에 걸리는 시간이 작을수록 위협의 실현성 레벨은 높게 평가된다. 아래의 표 5 내지 표 6에서 예시적인 평가 매트릭스가 소개되었다.
또한, 레벨 할당부(110)는 보안 취약점 노출 레벨을 대상 시스템의 개방성에 따라 평가하고, 이는 공격 대상의 정보가 외부에 어떻게 공개되는지, 얼마나 자주 사용되는지, 접근하는 방법이 무엇인지에 따라 평가할 수 있다. 이를테면, 대상 시스템의 사용 빈도가 높을수록, 정보가 많이 공개되어 있을수록, 그리고 접근 수준이 개방적일수록 보안 취약점 노출 레벨은 높게 평가될 수 있다. 아래의 표 7 내지 표 8에서 예시적인 평가 매트릭스가 소개되었다.
레벨 할당부(110)는 할당된 위협의 실현성 레벨 및 보안 취약점 노출 레벨의 조합에 따라 리스크 발생의 가능성을 아래의 표 9와 같이 할당할 수 있다.
계산부(120)는 상기 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 상기 ASIL 등급의 차이값에 기초하여 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 관한 조종 가능성(device's controllability)를 계산할 수 있다. 본 실시예에서 계산되는 조종 가능성은 ISO 26262 표준에서 정의되는 사용자에 의한 통제 가능성과는 구분되는 개념으로서 차량 내의 네트워크 상에서 각각의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결과 서로 간의 제어 가능성을 고려하기 위해 여기서 새로이 정의되는 팩터(factor)이다.
일실시예에 따르면 계산부(120)는 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대응하는 버텍스(vertex) 및 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 데이터 송수신 여부를 나타내는 엣지(edge)를 포함하는 그래프를 생성한다. 여기서 엣지는 서로 연결되는 두 개의 기능 요소들(버텍스들) 사이의 데이터 송수신 방향에 따라 단방향 엣지(one way edge) 및 양방향 엣지(two way edge) 중 어느 하나일 수 있다. 그리고 계산부(120)는 각각의 엣지에 포함되는 두 개의 기능 요소들 사이의 ASIL 차이 값을 나타내는 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 생성한다. 그리고 계산부(120)는 임의의 두 버텍스 사이의 경로에 포함되는 적어도 하나의 엣지의 웨이트 값의 합을 나타내는 이행적 폐쇄 행렬(transitive closure matrix)을 계산하여 낸다. 그리고 계산부(120)는 각 버텍스에 대해, 버텍스 vi로부터 데이터를 받을 수 있는, 다시 말해 버텍스 vi가 도달할 수 있는 (reachable) 버텍스 vj (0 ≤ j < k)에 대해, vi와 ASIL 등급의 차가 가장 큰 vj와의 등급 차이를 찾는다. 이는 이행적 폐쇄 행렬(transitive closure matrix) T에서 (i+1)번째 행의 모든 값들 중 가장 큰 값 찾아 취함으로써 계산할 수 있다. 이를 계산부(120)는 버텍스에 대한 디바이스 조종 가능성(Device's controllability: DC)로 도출한다. 자세한 예는 후속하는 도면을 참고하여 설명한다.
관리부(130)는 상기 ASIL, 상기 가능성 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 상기 복수의 기능 요소들의 리스크 분석 모델을 새롭게 생성하여 관리할 수 있다. 본 실시예에 따른 ASIL은 ISO 26262 표준에 따라 계산된 등급을 나타낼 수 있다. 그에 따라 ASIL은 잠재적인 위협이 사고로 이어질 때 영향을 미치는 차량의 운전 상황 및 운전자의 통제 가능성과 같은 요인들까지 고려될 수 있다.
다만, ISO 26262 표준의 경우에 위협 발생에 원인이 되는 오류(fault or error) 및 기능 실패 등이 확률적으로 발생하는 것으로 가정된다. 그러나, 보안 위협은 단순한 기계적 고장과는 다르게 지능을 가진 공격자가 의도적으로 발생시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 본 실시예에 따른 리스크 발생의 가능성은 IEC 62443과 같이 보안 위협에 대한 가능성과 같은 요인들까지 고려될 수 있다. 본 실시예에 따른 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 두 개의 표준 ISO 26262 및 IEC 62443들이 고려할 수 있는 리스크 분석 인자를 커버하여 각각의 기능 요소들에 관한 리스크 분석의 정확성을 보완하는 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 관리부(130)는 이렇게 새로이 분석되는 차량 보안 관리 등급을 S-ASIL (Security-ASIL)으로 관리할 수 있다. 자세한 내용은 도 7 등을 참조하여 예를 들어 후술한다. 이하에서 추가되는 설명에서는 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 관한 조종 가능성을 계산하는 방법에 대해 구체적으로 기재한다.
도 2는 일실시예에 따른 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법을 나타내는 흐름도이다. 도 2를 참조하면, 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법은 차량 내 기기 사이의 연결 상태에 따라 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 계산하는 단계(210), 상기 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 이용하여 이행적 폐쇄 행렬을 계산하는 단계(220) 및 상기 이행적 폐쇄 행렬을 이용하여 기기의 조종 가능성을 계산하는 단계(230)를 포함할 수 있다.
오늘날 차량 내에 포함되는 ECU(Electronic Control Unit), 각종 센서, 액츄에이터(actuator)들은 네트워크로 연결되고, 다양한 데이터들을 서로 간에 주고 받을 수 있다. 위와 같은, 복수의 기기들의 유기적인 연결 관계는 차량에 대해 사용자 중심의 인터페이스를 구현할 수 있도록 하지만 외부 침입자의 공격 경로가 되는 위험성 또한 존재한다. 침입자는 다른 기기의 취약점을 통해 우회하여 기존의 보안이 잘 갖춰진 기기를 간접적으로 공격할 수도 있다. 위와 같은 가능성까지 고려하기 위해, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 차량 내의 네트워크 상에서 독립된 기기에 대응하는 기능 요소들 사이의 연결과 서로 간의 제어 가능성을 고려하여 리스크 분석 모델을 생성할 수 있다.
단계(210)에서 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 차량 내의 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조에 기초하여 그래프 모델을 생성할 수 있다. 이하의 설명에서 기능 요소는 차량에 연관되는 복수의 기능 각각의 최소 단위로서, 하나의 전자 부품으로 실행되는 기능 단위를 나타낼 수 있다. 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대응하는 버텍스(vertex) 및 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 관계를 나타내는 엣지(edge)를 포함하는 그래프 모델 G=(V, E)을 생성할 수 있다.
예시적으로, 버텍스는 차량 내에 k 개의 기능 요소가 존재하는 경우에 각각의 기능 요소로서 정의되는 vi∈V(0≤i<k)로 정의될 수 있다. 또한, 엣지는 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 관계 및 데이터 송수신 여부를 나타내고, (vi, vj)∈E(i≠j, 0≤i, j<k)로 정의될 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 서로 연결되는 두 개의 기능 요소들의 데이터 송수신 방향에 따라 단방향 엣지(one way edge) 및 양방향 엣지(two way edge) 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 그래프 모델을 생성할 수 있다.
다른 일실시예로서, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 해킹 등의 보안 위협에 따라 기능 요소들 사이의 데이터 송수신의 방향성이 변경되는 것을 방지하기 위해 단방향 업로딩 시스템(one way uploading system)을 구현하고, 두 기기 사이의 통신 방향을 특정 방향으로 물리적으로 고정할 수 있다.
일실시예에 따르면 이러한 단방향 업로딩 시스템은 각 기능 요소들이 네트워크로 연결되도록 라우팅 하는 게이트웨이(gateway) 등에 설치되는 물리적 및/또는 소프트웨어적 기능일 수 있다. 이를테면 버텍스 vi와 버텍스 vj로 데이터를 보낼 수 있는 단방향 연결 엣지를 갖고, 반대로 vj는 vi로 데이터를 보낼 수 없다고 하면, 상기 단방향 업로딩 시스템은 이 방향성을 비가역적으로 유지하는 수단이 된다. 이러한 단방향 업로딩 시스템은 기능 요소들에 대해 평가되는 보안 등급과, 이의 관리 모델의 유효성을 보장한다. 따라서 실시예들에 따라 보안 등급이 설정되고 관리되는 중에, 보안 공격자는 단방향 업로딩 시스템에는 접근이나 수정을 할 수 없다.
한편, 다른 일실시예에 따르면 상기 단방향 업로딩 시스템은 물리적으로 버텍스 vi와 버텍스 vj 사이에 배치되어, 데이터 전송 방향의 변경을 방지하는 수단이 될 수 있다. 네트워크 요소로서 이러한 단방향 업로딩 시스템은 원래의 연결 토폴로지에서의 엣지 디렉션을 유지함으로써 실시예들에 의한 보안 등급의 평가, 설정과 관리 유효성을 보장한다.
그 밖에도 단방향 업로딩 시스템은 네트워크 및 통신 분야에서 적용 가능한 다른 응용들에 의해 구현될 수 있으며, 자세한 설명을 하지 않더라도 해당 분야의 기술자가 도출할 수 있는 단방향 업로딩 시스템의 구조와 동작은 실시예들에서 채용될 수 있는 것으로 이해되어야 한다.
또한, 단계(210)에서 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 생성된 다이렉티드 그래프 모델을 이용하여 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 ASIL 등급의 차이값에 기초하여 엣지 웨이트 행렬(edge weight matrix) W를 계산할 수 있다. 차량 내 네트워크에 존재하는 복수의 기능 요소들이 ECU(Electronic Control Unit)를 통해 연결되는 구성을 이용하는 경우에, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 언다이렉티드(undirected) 그래프 모델을 이용할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나, 실제 차량에서는 센서에서 콘트롤러로의 데이터 송수신 또는 상기 콘트롤러에서 액추에이어터로의 데이터 송수신과 같이 단순한 연결 관계가 아닌 데이터가 송수신되는 방향이 존재할 것이다. 본 실시예의 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 이러한 데이터의 흐름을 반영한 다이렉티드 그래프 모델을 이용하여 보다 정확한 리스크 분석 모델을 생성할 수 있다.

위의 설명에서 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치가 리스트 분석 모델을 생성하는데 이용하는 그래프 모델 및 모델링 알고리즘이 제공되었다. 이하에서는 예시적인 차량 내 유무선 네트워킹(IVN: In-Vehicle Networking) 환경에서 리스크 분석 모델이 생성되는 과정에 대해 보다 구체적으로 설명될 것이다.

각각의 버텍스 내에 표시되는 ASIL 등급은 앞서 도 1에서 설명된 바와 같이, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치 내의 레벨 할당부에 의해 할당된 ASIL 등급을 나타낼 수 있다. 예시적으로, 그러나 한정되지 않게, 각각의 ASIL 등급은 ISO 26262 표준에 따라 평가될 수 있다.

도 7b는 상기 도 7a에서 생성된 다이렉티드 그래프 모델로부터 조종 가능성이 반영된 그래프 모델을 나타낼 수 있다. 본 실시예에 따른 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 도 7a에서 설명되는 다이렉티드 그래프 모델로부터 엣지 웨이트 행렬 W 및 이행적 폐쇄 행렬 T를 계산해낼 수 있다. 또한, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 이행적 폐쇄 행렬 T를 이용하여 각각의 기능 요소들에 대응하는 조종 가능성 DCi를 계산해낼 수 있다. 조종 가능성을 계산하는 과정에 대해서는 앞서 기재된 설명이 그대로 적용될 수 있기 때문에 중복되는 설명은 생략하기로 한다.
도 7b를 참조하면, 타이어 압력 센서 s2(DC3), 레이더 s3(DC1), 초음파 센서 s4(DC1), 비전 감지 모듈 s5(DC1) 및 안티-락 브레이킹 시스템 c1(DC1)을 제외하고 나머지 기능 요소들에 대해서는 조종 가능성이 DCi가 0으로 계산될 수 있다.
본 실시예에서 설명되는 리스크 분석 모델에 관한 모델링 알고리즘은 차량 내의 ECU들의 조종 가능성을 평가하는 것뿐만 아니라 네트워크 상에서 특정 기기에 대한 보안 위협 발생 시 영향을 받는 기기를 선택적으로 찾아내는데 이용될 수 있다. 이를테면, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 특정 노드(s2, s3)에서 보안 위협이 발생하는 경우에 해당 노드로부터 도달 가능한 범위에 존재하는 기능 요소 중 ASIL 등급이 더 높은 기능 요소를 선택하고, 해당 기능 요소가 부각되도록 사용자의 디스플레이 상으로 표시할 수 있다. IVN이 방대한 시스템의 경우에는, 보안 상 취약한 기능 요소들을 하나 하나 씩 수동으로 분석하는 것은 쉽지 않을 것이다. 본 실시예의 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 리스크 분석 모델에 관한 모델링 알고리즘이 적용된 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 보안 상 취약한 기능 요소들을 사전에 점검하여 안전성을 높이는 효과를 기대할 수 있다.
차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대해 리스크 발생의 가능성, 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대한 리스크 관리 기준을 제공하는 ASIL 및 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 관한 조종 가능성(device's controllability)을 계산할 수 있다. 또한, 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치 내의 관리부는 상기 가능성, 상기 ASIL 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 상기 복수의 기능 요소들의 리스크 분석 모델을 생성할 수 있다. 예시적으로, 표 12와 같이 제안된 IVN에 대해 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치는 아래의 표 13과 같이 리스크 분석 모델을 생성할 수 있다.
상기 표 13에서 QM은 특별 요구사항이 없는 기본적인 품질을 나타낼 수 있다. S-ASIL A에서 S-ASIL D로 갈수록 보안 위협에 대한 리스크 관리를 위해 요구되는 기준이 높아지는 등급을 나타낼 수 있다.
S-ASIL(Secure-ASIL)는 본 실시예에 따른 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치가 할당하는 리스크 분석 등급으로서 상기 가능성, 상기 ASIL 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 계산된 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각의 리스크 분석 등급을 나타낼 수 있다. 본 실시예에 따른 은 복잡한 차량 내 네트워킹 시스템에 대해서도 조종 가능성에 기반하여 보안 위협에 취약한 기능 요소들을 평가할 수 있다는 점에서 보안의 안전성을 높이는 효과를 기대할 수 있다.
이상에서 설명된 실시예들은 하드웨어 구성요소, 소프트웨어 구성요소, 및/또는 하드웨어 구성요소 및 소프트웨어 구성요소의 조합으로 구현될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 실시예들에서 설명된 장치, 방법 및 구성요소는, 예를 들어, 프로세서, 콘트롤러, ALU(arithmetic logic unit), 디지털 신호 프로세서(digital signal processor), 마이크로컴퓨터, FPGA(field programmable gate array), PLU(programmable logic unit), 마이크로프로세서, 또는 명령(instruction)을 실행하고 응답할 수 있는 다른 어떠한 장치와 같이, 하나 이상의 범용 컴퓨터 또는 특수 목적 컴퓨터를 이용하여 구현될 수 있다. 처리 장치는 운영 체제(OS) 및 상기 운영 체제 상에서 수행되는 하나 이상의 소프트웨어 애플리케이션을 수행할 수 있다. 또한, 처리 장치는 소프트웨어의 실행에 응답하여, 데이터를 접근, 저장, 조작, 처리 및 생성할 수도 있다. 이해의 편의를 위하여, 처리 장치는 하나가 사용되는 것으로 설명된 경우도 있지만, 해당 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자는, 처리 장치가 복수 개의 처리 요소(processing element) 및/또는 복수 유형의 처리 요소를 포함할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 예를 들어, 처리 장치는 복수 개의 프로세서 또는 하나의 프로세서 및 하나의 콘트롤러를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 병렬 프로세서(parallel processor)와 같은, 다른 처리 구성(processing configuration)도 가능하다.
소프트웨어는 컴퓨터 프로그램(computer program), 코드(code), 명령(instruction), 또는 이들 중 하나 이상의 조합을 포함할 수 있으며, 원하는 대로 동작하도록 처리 장치를 구성하거나 독립적으로 또는 결합적으로(collectively) 처리 장치를 명령할 수 있다. 소프트웨어 및/또는 데이터는, 처리 장치에 의하여 해석되거나 처리 장치에 명령 또는 데이터를 제공하기 위하여, 어떤 유형의 기계, 구성요소(component), 물리적 장치, 가상 장치(virtual equipment), 컴퓨터 저장 매체 또는 장치, 또는 전송되는 신호 파(signal wave)에 영구적으로, 또는 일시적으로 구체화(embody)될 수 있다. 소프트웨어는 네트워크로 연결된 컴퓨터 시스템 상에 분산되어서, 분산된 방법으로 저장되거나 실행될 수도 있다. 소프트웨어 및 데이터는 하나 이상의 컴퓨터 판독 가능 기록 매체에 저장될 수 있다.
실시예에 따른 방법은 다양한 컴퓨터 수단을 통하여 수행될 수 있는 프로그램 명령 형태로 구현되어 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체에 기록될 수 있다. 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체는 프로그램 명령, 데이터 파일, 데이터 구조 등을 단독으로 또는 조합하여 포함할 수 있다. 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체에 기록되는 프로그램 명령은 실시예를 위하여 특별히 설계되고 구성된 것들이거나 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 당업자에게 공지되어 사용 가능한 것일 수도 있다. 컴퓨터 판독 가능 기록 매체의 예에는 하드 디스크, 플로피 디스크 및 자기 테이프와 같은 자기 매체(magnetic media), CD-ROM, DVD와 같은 광기록 매체(optical media), 플롭티컬 디스크(floptical disk)와 같은 자기-광 매체(magneto-optical media), 및 롬(ROM), 램(RAM), 플래시 메모리 등과 같은 프로그램 명령을 저장하고 수행하도록 특별히 구성된 하드웨어 장치가 포함된다. 프로그램 명령의 예에는 컴파일러에 의해 만들어지는 것과 같은 기계어 코드뿐만 아니라 인터프리터 등을 사용해서 컴퓨터에 의해서 실행될 수 있는 고급 언어 코드를 포함한다. 상기된 하드웨어 장치는 실시예의 동작을 수행하기 위해 하나 이상의 소프트웨어 모듈로서 작동하도록 구성될 수 있으며, 그 역도 마찬가지이다.
이상과 같이 실시예들이 비록 한정된 도면에 의해 설명되었으나, 해당 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 상기를 기초로 다양한 기술적 수정 및 변형을 적용할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 설명된 기술들이 설명된 방법과 다른 순서로 수행되거나, 및/또는 설명된 시스템, 구조, 장치, 회로 등의 구성요소들이 설명된 방법과 다른 형태로 결합 또는 조합되거나, 다른 구성요소 또는 균등물에 의하여 대치되거나 치환되더라도 적절한 결과가 달성될 수 있다.
Claims (17)
- 프로세서로 구현되는:차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대한 리스크 관리 기준을 제공하는 ASIL(Automobile Safety Integrity Level)을 할당하는 레벨 할당부;상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 상기 ASIL의 차이값에 기초하여 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 관한 조종 가능성(device's controllability)을 계산하는 계산부; 및상기 ASIL 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 상기 복수의 기능 요소들의 리스크 분석 모델을 설립하여 관리하는 관리부를 포함하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대응하는 버텍스(vertex) 및 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 데이터 송수신 여부를 나타내는 엣지(edge)를 포함하는 그래프를 생성하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 서로 연결되는 두 개의 기능 요소들 사이의 데이터 송수신 방향에 따라 단방향 엣지(one way edge) 및 양방향 엣지(two way edge) 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 상기 그래프를 생성하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 각각의 엣지에 포함되는 두 개의 기능 요소들 사이의 상기 ASIL 차이값을 나타내는 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 생성하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 상기 각각의 엣지에 대응하는 상기 ASIL의 차이값이 상기 엣지의 경로에 표시되는 웨이티드 다이렉티드 그래프(weighted, directed graph)를 생성하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 임의의 두 버텍스 사이의 경로에 포함되는 적어도 하나의 엣지의 웨이트 값의 합을 나타내는 이행적 폐쇄 행렬(transitive closure matrix)을 생성하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 제1 버텍스로부터 연결된 경로가 존재하는 적어도 하나의 버텍스 중 상기 ASIL의 차이값이 최대가 되도록 하는 제2 버텍스와 상기 제1 버텍스의 상기 ASIL의 차이값을 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 기능 요소의 조종 가능성으로 계산하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 계산부는 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 상기 이행적 폐쇄 행렬의 제1행의 값들 중 최대값을 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 기능 요소의 조종 가능성으로 계산하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 레벨 할당부는 상기 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대해 리스크 발생의 가능성(likelihood)을 할당하고, 상기 관리부는 상기 가능성, 상기 ASIL 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 상기 복수의 기능 요소들의 리스크 분석 모델을 생성하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 레벨 할당부는 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대한 위협의 실현성 및 보안 취약점에 기초하여 IEC 62443에 따라 상기 가능성을 할당하고, 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대한 사고의 심각도(severity), 사고의 노출 확률(probability) 및 통제 가능성에 기초하여 ISO 26262에 따라 상기 ASIL를 할당하는 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 장치.
- 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 ASIL의 차이값에 기초하여 복수의 기능 요소들의 연결 상태를 나타내는 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 계산하는 단계;상기 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 이용하여 임의의 두 버텍스 사이의 경로에 포함되는 적어도 하나의 엣지의 웨이트 값의 합을 나타내는 이행적 폐쇄 행렬을 계산하는 단계; 및제1 버텍스로부터 연결된 경로가 존재하는 적어도 하나의 버텍스 각각의 상기 ASIL을 이용하여 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 기능 요소의 조종 가능성을 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 엣지 웨이트 행렬을 계산하는 단계는,상기 복수의 기능 요소들에 대응하는 버텍스를 생성하고, 임의의 두 개의 버텍스 사이의 데이터 송수신 여부를 나타내는 엣지를 포함하는 그래프를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 엣지를 포함하는 그래프를 생성하는 단계는,상기 임의의 두 개의 버텍스의 데이터 송수신 방향에 따라 단방향 엣지 및 양방향 엣지 중 어느 하나를 포함하는 상기 그래프를 생성하는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 엣지를 포함하는 그래프를 생성하는 단계는,각각의 엣지에 대응하는 두 버텍스의 ASIL 차이값이 상기 각각의 엣지의 경로에 표시되는 웨이티드 다이렉티드 그래프를 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 조종 가능성을 계산하는 단계는,상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 상기 이행적 폐쇄 행렬의 제1행의 값들 중 최대값을 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 기능 요소의 조종 가능성으로 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 조종 가능성을 계산하는 단계는,상기 제1 버텍스로부터 연결된 경로가 존재하는 적어도 하나의 버텍스 중 제2 버텍스와 상기 제1 버텍스의 상기 ASIL의 차이값을 상기 제1 버텍스에 대응하는 기능 요소의 조종 가능성으로 계산하고,상기 제2 버텍스는 상기 제1 버텍스와의 상기 ASIL의 차이값이 최대가 되도록 하는 버텍스를 나타내는 차량 내 기능 요소의 조종 가능성 계산 방법.
- 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체에 저장된 프로그램으로서, 상기 프로그램은 차량 보안 네트워크 디자인 방법을 수행하는 명령어 세트를 포함하고, 상기 명령어 세트는:차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대해 리스크 발생의 가능성을 할당하는 명령어 세트;상기 차량 내 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 대해 리스크 관리 기준에 관한 ASIL을 할당하는 명령어 세트;상기 복수의 기능 요소들 사이의 연결 구조 및 상기 ASIL의 차이값에 기초하여 상기 복수의 기능 요소들 각각에 관한 조종 가능성을 계산하는 명령어 세트; 및상기 가능성, 상기 ASIL 및 상기 조종 가능성에 따라 상기 복수의 기능 요소들의 리스크 분석 모델을 생성하는 명령어 세트를 포함하는 컴퓨터 판독 가능 매체에 저장된 프로그램.
