Abstract

陰嚢への装着時に、陰嚢との密着性を従来よりも向上できる陰嚢シートを提供する。陰嚢シート(1)は、水分と、当該水分が蒸発する際の気化熱を利用した冷感素材とを少なくとも含有する膏体・保水材層(2)と、前記保水材層(2)の一方の面(2A)に形成された表面材層(3)と、使用時に立体形状にして陰嚢を包むための切り込みとを備えたことを特徴とする。

Description

陰嚢シート
 この発明は、男性不妊の一原因である精子の運動率低下や劣化、乏精子症などの改善に関し、特に、陰嚢に装着して使用する陰嚢シートに関するものである。
 従来より、乏精子症などの改善に取り組んでいる患者は、FertilMate社製のパッチ(Cooling Patch(商品名))を陰嚢に装着する等の対処を行っている。このパッチは平面視長方形状に形成される(非特許文献1参照)。

 しかしながら、上記非特許文献1に開示されたパッチは平面視四隅が角張っているので、陰嚢への装着時に、パッチと陰嚢との間に隙間が形成されたり、四隅に形成された折れ曲がり部が下着に接触したりする。従って、陰嚢から剥がれ易く陰嚢との密着性が悪いため、陰嚢への装着には適さない。
 この発明の目的は、陰嚢への装着時に、陰嚢との密着性を従来よりも向上できる陰嚢シートを提供することにある。
 上記目的を達成するため、本発明に係る陰嚢シートは、水分と、当該水分が蒸発する際の気化熱を利用した冷感素材とを少なくとも含有する膏体・保水材層と、前記膏体・保水材層の一方の面に形成された表面材層と、使用時に立体形状にして陰嚢を包むための切り込みとを備えたことを特徴とする。
 本発明に係る陰嚢シートでは、水分が蒸発する際の気化熱を利用した冷感素材を膏体・保水材層が含有し、使用時に立体形状にして陰嚢を包むための切り込みが形成されるので、陰嚢シートの陰嚢への装着時に、陰嚢から剥がれ難く陰嚢との密着性を従来よりも向上させつつ陰嚢を冷却できる。

 以下、本発明の実施の形態を示す図面を参照して本発明を説明する。
[陰嚢シートの全体形状について]
 図1は、陰嚢シート1の全体形状の一例を示す平面視図である。図2は、陰嚢シート1を後方に折り曲げようとした時の状態を示す斜視図である。
 図1に示すように、陰嚢シート1は、全体として一方向に細長い縦長形状を有している。なお、以下の説明では、左右、前後、上下などの記載は、陰嚢シート1にとっての各方向を意味する。
 陰嚢シート1は、使用時に立体形状にして陰嚢を包むためのシートである。具体的には、図2に示すように、陰嚢への装着時に5つの折り目BL1~BL5に沿って後方に折り曲げられて立体形状にされる。陰嚢シート1は、図中の一点鎖線で示す折り目BL1~BL5によって、複数の領域に区分される。なお、折り目BL1は表面保護フィルム4を複数の部位40、41に区画するための切断線としても機能する。本実施形態における折り目BL1~BL3は、陰嚢シート1をその上下方向に4分割する3本の直線であり、折り目BL4、BL5は、陰嚢シート1をその左右方向に3分割する2本の直線である。
 陰嚢シート1の上端部1UEから折り目BL1までの上下方向の離間距離は35~60mmであることが好ましく、折り目BL1から折り目BL2までの上下方向の離間距離は50~65mmであることが好ましく、折り目BL2から折り目BL3までの上下方向の離間距離は5~20mmであることが好ましい。また、左端部1LEから折り目BL4までの左右方向の離間距離は10~20mmであることが好ましく、折り目BL4から折り目BL5までの左右方向の離間距離は50~65mmであることが好ましく、折り目BL5から右端部1REまでの左右方向の離間距離は10~20mmであることが好ましい。
 陰嚢シート1は、図1に示すように、平面視において上下方向に縦長となる形状を有している。ここでの「縦長」とは、陰嚢シート1において、左右方向に沿って延びる短辺(本実施形態では100mm)よりも上下方向に延びる長辺(本実施形態では140mm)の方が長いことを意味する。
[各切り込みの構成について]
 陰嚢シート1は、使用時に立体形状にして陰嚢を包むための複数の切り込みを備える。
[切り込み10の構成について]
 切り込みの少なくとも1つは、陰茎を通すために一端部に形成された切り込みである。本実施形態では、図1に示すように、上端部1UEに符号10で示す切り込みが形成されている。この切り込み10は、陰嚢シート1の上端部1UEにおいて左右方向の中央部に形成されている。
 切り込み10は、平面視において半円形状を有している。切り込み10の大きさは、その半径が15~25mmであることが好ましく、開口長さは15~25mmであることが好ましい。
 また、切り込み10の左側部10LEから陰嚢シート1の左側部1LEまでの左右方向の離間距離は25~35mmであることが好ましい。同様に、切り込み10の右端10REから陰嚢シート1の右側部1REまでの左右方向の離間距離は25~35mmであることが好ましい。
[切り込み11L、11R、12L、12Rの構成について]
 切り込み11L、12Lは図1に示すように左側部1LEに形成され、図2に示すように該左側部1LEを折り曲げて立ち上げるための切り込みである。同様に、切り込み11R、12Rは右側部1REに形成され、該右側部1REを後方に折り曲げて立ち上げるための切り込みである。一対の切り込み11L、11Rは、折り目BL1に沿って形成され、平面視において左右方向に細長い長方形状を有している。一対の切り込み12L、12Rは、折り目BL2に沿って形成され、平面視においてV字形状を有している。
 一対で構成されていて特別に区別して説明する必要がない切り込み11L、11R及び切り込み12L、12Rは、図面の簡略化を図るために、一方の切り込み11R、12Rについてのみ各部位の符号や寸法を付し、もう一方の切り込み11L、12Lについては、各部位の符号や寸法を適宜省略することがあることを予め断っておく。
 本実施形態における切り込み11L、11Rの大きさは、その長辺が10~25mm、短辺が1~3mmであることが好ましい。また、上端部1UEと切り込み11Lの上辺11LUSとの間の上下方向の離間距離は40~55mmであることが好ましい。同様に、上端部1UEと切り込み11Rの上辺11RUSとの間の離間距離は45~55mmであることが好ましい。
 切り込み12L、12Rの大きさは、図1に示すように、V字形状を構成する二本の直線の交点P1から開口下端P2までの離間距離が10mmであることが好ましい。また、切り込み12L、12Rの開口長さは5mmであることが好ましい。
 なお、図1に示すように、領域R4には、陰嚢シート1の下端1DEが形成されている。下端1DEは、平面視において、丸みを帯びた形状を有している。開口下端R2から下端1DEの最下端1MDEまでの上下方向の離間距離は15~40mmであることが好ましい。
[陰嚢シート1の層構造について]
 続いて、陰嚢シート1の層構造について説明する。
 図3は、図1におけるA-A線矢視断面の一部を拡大した図である。図3に示すように、陰嚢シート1は、膏体・保水材層2と、表面材層3と、表面保護フィルム4とを備える。本実施形態における陰嚢シート1は、膏体・保水材層2と、表面保護フィルム4と、膏体・保水材層2と表面保護フィルム4の間に介在配置された表面材層3を具備する3層構造を有している。
[膏体・保水材層2の構成について]
 膏体・保水材層2は、水分と、当該水分が蒸発する際の気化熱を利用した冷感素材とを少なくとも含有している。
 膏体・保水材層2は、陰嚢シート1を清潔に保つという観点から、優れた抗菌効果を持つI-メントールを冷感素材として含有することが好ましい。
 また、I-メントールの含有量は、皮膚炎を防止する陰嚢シート1を実現する観点から、水分の全重量に対して0.1重量%~1.0重量%であることが好ましい。
 また、膏体・保水材層2の重量は、優れた抗菌効果を持つ陰嚢シート1を実現する観点から、1cm2あたり0.2g~0.4gであることが好ましい。
 更に、膏体・保水材層2は、患者にリラックス感や眠気覚まし効果等の精神的効果を与えるという観点から、ペパーミント、バジル、ティートリー、ユーカリ、レモン、及び、ブルーガムの何れか一種から選択されるアロマ成分を含有することが好ましい。
 加えて、膏体・保水材層2は、カビ等が繁殖するリスクを軽減するという観点から、パラベンからなる防腐剤を含有することが好ましい。
[表面材層3の構成について]
 表面材層3は、繊維を不規則にからめた不織布からなり、前記膏体・保水材層2の一方の面2Aに形成される。
[表面保護フィルム4の構成について]
 表面保護フィルム4は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリイミドなどの生体適合性樹脂からなる。表面保護フィルム4は、前記膏体・保水材層2の他方の面2Bに形成される。この面2Bは、陰嚢への貼付面2Bとして機能する。表面保護フィルム4は、図3の一点鎖線で囲まれた部分を拡大した図に示すように、切断線BL1によって複数の部位40、41に区画されている。この切断線BL1によって、表面保護フィルム4は前記膏体・保水材層2の他方の面2Bから剥離可能に構成されている。
[陰嚢シート1の装着手順]
 図4~図6は、本実施形態に係る陰嚢シートを用いた装着手順の一例を説明するための図である。
 図4は、膏体・保水材層2に貼付された表面保護フィルム4を半分剥がそうとした時の状態を示す斜視図である。図4では、図をわかりやすくするために面2Bを網掛けで示している。
 図5は、股間に装着された陰嚢シートの正面視図である。図6は、股間に装着された陰嚢シートの側面視図である。図5及び図6では、図をわかりやすくするために、陰嚢シート1を網掛けで示している。
 装着にあたっては、まず、図4に示すように、部位40を上方向(図中の矢印A1で示す方向)に剥がし取る。ここでは部位40だけを面2Bから剥がして面2Bの上半分(図5に示すBL1よりも上部分)だけを先に外部に露出させる。なお、面2Bの上半分には切り込み10が形成されている。
 続いて、図5に示すように、切り込み10で陰茎の根元部分を取り囲むようにして、面2Bの上半分(不図示)を陰茎の根元部分に対向配置する。
 この状態で、陰嚢シート1を左右方向に引っ張りながら、面2Bの上半分を、対向する陰茎の根元部分の皮膚上に貼り付ける。図1に示したように、切り込み10が平面視において半円形状を有するので、陰嚢シート1の股間への装着時に、陰茎を外部に露出させることができ、なおかつ、左右方向の中央部に配置させることができる。
 続いて、図4に示すように、今度は残りの部位41を下方向(図中の矢印A2で示す方向)に剥がし取る。ここでは、残りの部位41が剥がされて面2Bの下半分(図5に示すBL1よりも下部分)も外部に露出し、面2Bの全面が外部に露出する。
 続いて、陰茎の根元部分よりも下部にある陰嚢部位に面2Bの下半分を対向配置する。
 続いて、陰嚢シート1を左右方向及び下方向に引っ張って図5に示すように切り込み11L、11R、12L、12RをV字状に広げながら、面2Bの下半分(不図示)の貼付位置を適宜調整する。
 位置調整後、陰嚢シート1を折り目BL1~BL5に沿わせて山折り状態にして、面2Bの下半分を、対向する陰嚢部位の皮膚上に貼り付ける。これにより、図6に示すように、陰嚢シート1が陰嚢部位に装着される。
 上述したように、切り込み11L、11Rは平面視において長方形状を有するので(図1参照)、陰嚢シート1の股間への装着時に、陰嚢に貼付し易く、かつ剥がれ難いという効果を実現でき、なおかつ、陰嚢において持続性の高い冷感を得たい場合など所望の部位の皮膚上に貼り付けて用いることができる。ここで、図7は、平面視長方形状に形成された既存製品の斜視図を示している。また、図8は、既存製品を被験者の陰嚢に装着した状態を示す斜視図である。図7に示すように既存製品は平面視四隅が角張っている。そのため、図8に示すように、陰嚢への装着時に、既存製品と陰嚢との間に隙間が形成されたり、四隅に形成された折れ曲がり部が図示しない下着に接触したりする。従って、既存製品は陰嚢から剥がれ易く陰嚢との密着性が悪いため、陰嚢への装着には適さない。
 上述したように、切り込み12L、12Rは、平面視においてV字形状を有するので(図1参照)、陰嚢シート1の下方向及び後方向への伸縮が促進されるので、陰嚢に貼付し易く、かつ剥がれ難いという効果を実現できるとともに、目的とする貼付部位に対する柔軟かつスムーズな位置合わせを実現できる。
 上述したように、領域R4の下端1DEは、平面視において丸みを帯びているので(図1参照)、臀部との衝突時における衝撃を吸収する緩衝材として機能し、仮に臀部に下端1DEがぶつかったとしても臀部に傷が付いたり怪我したりすることを防止できたり、あるいは、下端1DEが接触しても臀部が痛くないようになるといった効果を得ることができる。
 以上、本発明の実施形態について図面に基づいて説明したが、具体的な構成は、これらの実施形態に限定されるものではないことは言うまでもない。本発明の範囲は、上記した実施形態の説明ではなく請求の範囲によって示され、さらに請求の範囲を逸脱しない限りで類似の範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれる。
 なお、上記実施形態では、切り込み10が平面視において半円形状を有する例について述べたが、陰嚢を包み易い形状でありさえすれば必ずしもこの形状に限定されず、例えば、半楕円形状又は矩形状など種々の形状に形成できる。また、切り込み10の個数についても1個に限定されず、2個以上であってもよい。
 同様に、切り込み11L、11Rが平面視において左右方向に細長い長方形状を有する例について述べたが、陰嚢を包み易い形状でありさえすれば必ずしもこの形状に限定されず種々の形状に形成できる。また、切り込み11L、11Rの個数についても2個に限定されず、1個又は3個以上であってもよい。
 同様に、切り込み12L、12Rが平面視においてV字形状を有する例について述べたが、陰嚢を包み易い形状でありさえすれば必ずしもこの形状に限定されず種々の形状に形成できる。また、切り込み12L、12Rの個数についても2個に限定されず、1個又は3個以上であってもよい。
 次に、本発明に関して、実施例を用いて詳細に説明する。なお、本発明は、以下の実施例に限定されるものではない。
 ここでは、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付によって陰嚢温度の冷却が得られるかどうかについて、サーモグラフィーを用いて実験した結果を説明する。
 実験対象と実験方法を以下に述べる。更に、陰嚢冷却シートを貼り付けた際の陰嚢表面温度の変化を示す写真を図9に示す。
 (実験対象)
 ここでは、19歳から22歳までの健康な若年男性26名を被験者とした。
 (実験方法)
 ここでは、陰嚢温度と大腿温度との比較により、陰嚢冷却シートの冷却効果を検討した。
 まず、陰嚢冷却シート貼付前にサーモグラフィー(日本アビオニクス株式会社製のInfReCR300SR(商品名))を用いて陰嚢表面温度を測定した。続いて、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付後1時間、貼付後2時間、貼付後4時間で、その都度、陰嚢冷却シートを剥がし、陰嚢温度を測定した。図9は、陰嚢冷却シートを貼り付けた際の陰嚢表面温度の変化を示す写真である。図9に示すように、本実験では、陰嚢の4点で温度を計測し、その計測温度と大腿温度との比較により陰嚢の冷却効果を検討した。具体的には、図9に示すように、精巣右上の点a、精巣右下の点b、精巣左上の点c、精巣左下の点d、大腿で温度を計測した。
(陰嚢温度と大腿温度との関係について)
 図10は、陰嚢温度と大腿温度との関係を示したグラフである。図10の横軸は陰嚢冷却シートの貼付後の経過時間[h]を示し、縦軸は温度[℃]を示す。図10中の「●」は、被験者の精巣右上の点a(図9参照)における平均温度を示し、「■」は、被験者の精巣右下の点b(図9参照)における平均温度を示す。また、図10中の「▲」は、被験者の精巣左上の点c(図9参照)における平均温度を示し、「▼」は、被験者の精巣左下の点d(図9参照)における平均温度を示す。図10中の「◆」は、被験者の大腿(図9参照)における平均温度を示す。
 図10中の「*」は、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付開始時の0[h]及び貼付後の4[h]における陰嚢温度と、貼付後の1[h]及び2[h]における陰嚢温度との間における有意差が、有意水準p<0.05で認められたことを示す。ここで、「有意水準p」とは、「差が統計的に意味があるといってもよい水準」のことを意味し、pの値が小さいほど、偶然とは考えにくいことを意味する。
 図10を考察すると、各点a~dにおける陰嚢温度は、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付開始時の0[h]と貼付後4[h]において、33[℃]から34[℃]の温度範囲内に分布することが分かった。
 また、図10を考察すると、各点a~dにおける陰嚢温度は、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付後の1[h]と貼付後2[h]において、32[℃]から33[℃]の温度範囲内に分布することが分かった。
 これらの考察結果から、各点a~dにおける陰嚢温度は、貼付後の1[h]及び2[h]の方が貼付開始時の0[h]及び貼付後の4[h]と比べて有意に低く、高い冷却効果を有することが分かった。
 一方、大腿温度は、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付開始時の0[h]、貼付後の1[h]、2[h]、4[h]において、36[℃]付近に分布することが分かった。
(陰嚢温度と大腿温度との温度差の比較について)
 図11は、陰嚢温度と大腿温度との温度差を示したグラフである。図11の横軸は陰嚢冷却シートの貼付後の経過時間[h]を示し、縦軸は陰嚢温度と大腿温度との温度差を示す。図11中の「●」は、被験者の精巣右上の点a(図9参照)における平均温度と、被験者の大腿(図9参照)における平均温度との温度差[℃]を示す。図11中の「■」は、被験者の精巣右下の点b(図9参照)における平均温度と、被験者の大腿(図9参照)における平均温度との温度差[℃]を示す。図11中の「▲」は、被験者の精巣左上の点c(図9参照)における平均温度と、被験者の大腿(図9参照)における平均温度との温度差[℃]を示す。図11中の「▼」は、被験者の精巣左下の点d(図9参照)における平均温度と、被験者の大腿(図9参照)における平均温度との温度差[℃]を示す。
 図11を考察すると、各点a~dにおける大腿温度との温度差は、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付開始時の0[h]と貼付後4[h]において、-3[℃]から-2[℃]の範囲内に分布することが分かった。
 また、図11を考察すると、各点a~dにおける大腿温度との温度差は、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付後の1[h]と貼付後2[h]において、約-3.5[℃]から-3[℃]の範囲内に分布することが分かった。
 これらの考察結果から、各点a~dにおける大腿温度との温度差は、貼付後の1[h]及び2[h]の方が貼付開始時の0[h]及び貼付後の4[h]と比べて有意に大きく、高い冷却効果を有することが分かった。
(貼付後の着け心地や、かゆみの有無について)
 本発明者らは、本実験において、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付後の着け心地や、かゆみの有無についても検討した。
(着け心地について)
 以下の表1は、被験者26名が陰嚢冷却シートの貼付を行い、「とてもよい」、「よい」、「ふつう」、「悪い」、「とても悪い」の採点基準で着け心地を評価した結果を示す。

 表1に示すように、被験者26名のうち、2名の被験者から着け心地の評価として「とてもよい」の結果が得られた。9名の被験者から着け心地の評価として「よい」の結果が得られた。14名の被験者から着け心地の評価として「ふつう」の結果が得られた。
 一方、表1に示すように、被験者26名のうち、1名の被験者から着け心地の評価として「悪い」の結果が得られた。なお、被験者26名のうち、「とても悪い」と評価した被験者の数は0であった。
 これらの考察結果から、陰嚢冷却シートの着け心地として「とてもよい」、「よい」、「ふつう」と評価した被験者人数は25名であり、「悪い」と評価した被験者人数の1名を大きく上回る結果が得られた。
(かゆみの有無について)
 以下の表2は、被験者26名が陰嚢冷却シートの貼付を行い、「やや感じる」、「無」、の採点基準で、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付時における、かゆみの有無を評価した結果を示す。

 表2に示すように、被験者26名のうち、1名の被験者からかゆみの有無の評価として「やや感じる」の結果が得られた。一方、25名の被験者からかゆみの有無の評価として「無」の結果が得られた。
 これらの考察結果から、陰嚢冷却シートの貼付時における、かゆみの有無について「やや感じる」と評価した被験者人数はたったの1名であり、残り25名が「無」と評価しており、大半の被験者がかゆみを感じていないという結果が得られた。

Claims (4)

  1.  水分と、当該水分が蒸発する際の気化熱を利用した冷感素材とを少なくとも含有する膏体・保水材層と、
     前記膏体・保水材層の一方の面に形成された表面材層と、
     使用時に立体形状にして陰嚢を包むための切り込みとを備えたことを特徴とする陰嚢シート。
  2.  請求項1において、
     前記切り込みの少なくとも1つが、陰茎を通すために一端部に形成された切り込みであることを特徴とする陰嚢シート。
  3.  請求項1又は請求項2において、
     前記切り込みの少なくとも1つが、
     両側部に形成され、該両側部をそれぞれ折り曲げて立ち上げるための切り込みであることを特徴とする陰嚢シート。
  4.  請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項において、
     前記膏体・保水材層の他方の面に形成され、複数の部位に区画された表面保護フィルムを更に備えたことを特徴とする陰嚢シート。
