Definitions
- the present invention relates to a composition for the prophylaxis or treatment of hepatitis containing a monoacetyldiacylglycerol compound, and more particularly, it is possible to effectively prevent and treat hepatitis, and to use a safe monoacetyldiacylglycerol compound with no side effects in use. It relates to a composition for preventing or treating hepatitis containing.
- Liver is one of the most important metabolic organs in the organs of the body, and performs important functions such as bile secretion, nutrient storage, and detoxification.
- Metabolic disorders such as protein metabolism and hepatic brain disease, vitamin metabolism, and poor absorption, may occur, and liver disease may worsen due to infection, fatty liver, cirrhosis, and the like.
- Hepatic diseases known to date include a variety of hepatic disorders such as acute hepatitis caused by drugs, fatty liver caused by drinking, acute hepatitis caused by viral infections, chronic hepatitis modified by electric acute hepatitis, or cirrhosis accompanied by electrical disorders.
- hepatitis is a disease caused by T cell mediated immune response and inflammation of the liver. Under these conditions, new leukocyte increases and hepatic sites of these cells lead to the onset of the disease. Although much is known about the pathogenesis of hepatitis, treatment targets (subjects, targets) are still unsatisfactory.
- Concanavalin A (hereafter ConA) induces T cell activity and results in T cell mediated liver damage (Gantner F, Leist M, Lohse AW, Germann PG, Tiegs G. Concanavalin A-induced T-cell -mediated hepatic injury in mice: the role of tumor necrosis factor.Hepatology 1995; 21: 190-198).
- IL-4 is produced by human umbilical vein endothelium (Striz I, Mio T, Adachi Y, Robbins RA, Romberger DJ, Rennard SI.
- IL-4 and IL-13 stimulate human bronchial epithelial cells to release IL- 8. Inflammation 1999; 23: 545-555) and this cytokine induces trafficking regulation of neutrophils via the STAT3 pathway.
- galactosamine which is known as a substance capable of causing liver disease similar to carbon tetrachloride, may specifically act on the liver and cause various diseases, mainly hepatocellular necrosis and inflammation in hepatocytes and hepatic portal veins. Induced by chronic liver disease, it is known that can cause cirrhosis, cellular tumors.
- SIL silymarin
- DDB biphenyl dimethyl dicarboxylate
- UDCA ursodeoxycholic acid
- these therapeutic agents have the disadvantage that the type of hepatic disease that can be applied is limited. Because of the various functions of the liver, when a therapeutic agent is administered to treat one type of disease, the desired disease can be treated, but unexpected side effects may occur, and when hepatic disease is misdiagnosed, incorrect administration of the therapeutic agent may result. This is because hepatic disease may be worse.
- extracts from green tea may increase the activity of UDP-glucuronosyl transferase, resulting in increased excretion of carcinogens in the liver (see A. Bu-Abbas et al., Food and Chemical Toxicology, 33 (1): 27-30, 1995; OS Sohn et al., Food and Chemical Toxicology, 36: 617-621, 1998). Although it has not been proved, studies on extracts that can improve other liver diseases have not made much progress.

These data show that EC-18 mitigates the activity of PKC- ⁇ / ⁇ and has an effect on successive dephosphorylation of Jak1 in PKC- ⁇ , JAK1 and STAT6 cascades.
- FIG. 11 is a view showing the effect of reducing the expression and changes in cell adhesion of IL-8 and VCAM-1 according to the dosage to PLAG when the composition of the present invention.
- RT-PCR data show that expression of IL-8 and VCAM-1 stimulated and secreted by IL-4 to allow HL-60 cells to be adsorbed to fibronectin via PLAG administration (dose dependent method). Etc.), it can be effectively and effectively suppressed (FIG. 11A).
- the activity of HL-60 regulated by IL-4 and / or PLAG was calculated using WST-1 analysis and cell number.
- 10 ng / ml IL-4 is sufficient to stimulate HL-60 cells for adsorption on coated fibronectin, and 100, 10, 1 ug / mL PLAG significantly reduced the adsorption of dose dependent HL-60. (See B and C in FIG. 11).
