- Three-dimensional models are widely used in scientific experimental analysis and scientific experimental simulation.
- in the field of nuclear radiation and protection in order to simulate the absorbed dose of a living body under certain radiation conditions, it is often necessary to use computer technology to perform various processing on medical images to establish a precise lattice model required by Monte Carlo software, and combined with software. Simulation calculation.
- the Monte Carlo method is currently a tool for accurately simulating the collision trajectory and energy distribution of nuclear particles within the three-dimensional space of the irradiation target.
- the combination of the Monte Carlo method and the complex three-dimensional human anatomical model represents the leap of simulation in computer technology.
- Accurate human body dose assessment is very beneficial for radiation therapy in diagnostic radiology.
- a variety of human body models have been successfully established internationally and combined with Monte Carlo simulation procedures to absorb the absorbed dose of the human body in a radiation environment. Perform a computational assessment of accuracy.
- the geometric description required for the successful conversion of the human three-dimensional anatomical model to the Monte Carlo program is a prerequisite for Monte Carlo simulation calculation, and it is also a hotspot and a difficult point in the international Monte Carlo simulation study.
- Medical imaging such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Computed Tomography (CT) can provide detailed tissue geometry information for human body features, providing a data foundation for solid modeling of human internal structures.
- CT image data is converted into a voxel prosthesis model similar to the human anatomy, thereby simulating the migration history of the radiation and calculating the radiation absorbed dose with the action of the human tissue. Therefore, when the elements of a given voxel prosthesis are composed, they are as close as possible to the actual situation of the patient, so as to obtain the result closest to the real situation in the simulation calculation.
- the human body tissues should be composed of specific element mass ratios instead of the fixed element mass ratios in a single interval. It can be seen that there are still considerable room for improvement in the current common voxel prosthetic component definition methods.
