Abstract
室内ユニット(10)は、空調対象空間(90)へ空気を吹き出す吹出口(18)と、可燃性の冷媒ガスが流れる冷媒流路部材(20)と、冷媒流路部材(20)から漏洩した冷媒ガスを検知する冷媒検知センサ(30)と、を備える。冷媒検知センサ(30)は、空調対象空間(90)に面するように配置される。冷媒検知センサ(30)は、ケーシング(31)を有する。ケーシングに(31)は、冷媒ガスを取り込むためのガス取込口(32)が形成されている。冷媒検知センサ(30)は、吹出口(18)から吹き出される空気が通過する通風領域(70)の外側に配置される通風域外部分(36)を有する。通風域外部分(36)は、ガス取込口(32)を含む。
Description
本発明は、冷媒検知センサを有する空気調和装置の室内ユニットに関する。
空気調和装置から冷媒が漏洩した場合に空気調和装置の運転を停止させるため、空気調和装置には冷媒検知センサが搭載されることがある。特許文献1(特開平8-178397号公報)に開示される空気調和装置は、空調対象の部屋の天井に設置された室内ユニットと、壁に設置された冷媒検知センサを備えている。冷媒検知センサは有線通信により、検知結果を室内ユニットに知らせる。
このように冷媒検知センサが室内ユニットとは別体である場合、空気調和装置を部屋へ設置する際に施工の負担が大きい。したがって、冷媒検知センサは室内ユニットに一体化されていることが望ましい。
室内ユニットには、空気の吹出口が存在する。室内ユニットにおける冷媒検知センサの設置場所次第では、室内ユニットに出入りする空気そのもの、および、それによって運ばれる異物などが冷媒検知センサに当たる。このため、損傷によって、冷媒検知センサの寿命が縮められるおそれがある。
本発明の課題は、空気調和装置の室内ユニットにおいて、冷媒検知センサの寿命を保つことである。
本発明の第1観点に係る室内ユニットは、空調対象空間へ空気を吹き出す吹出口と、可燃性の冷媒ガスが流れる冷媒流路部材と、冷媒流路部材から漏洩した冷媒ガスを検知する冷媒検知センサと、を備える。冷媒検知センサは、空調対象空間に面するように配置される。冷媒検知センサは、ケーシングを有する。ケーシングには、冷媒ガスを取り込むためのガス取込口が形成されている。冷媒検知センサは、吹出口から吹き出される空気が通過する通風領域の外側に配置される通風域外部分を有する。通風域外部分は、ガス取込口を含む。
この構成によれば、ガス取込口は通風領域の外側に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサを損傷させうる空気そのもの、または異物などが、ガス取込口を通って冷媒検知センサの内部に侵入することが抑制されるので、冷媒検知センサの寿命が保たれやすい。
本発明の第2観点に係る室内ユニットは、第1観点に係る室内ユニットにおいて、冷媒検知センサが、冷媒ガスを検知するよう構成されたセンサ素子と、センサ素子へ到達する前に冷媒ガスが通過するフィルタと、をさらに有する。通風域外部分は、フィルタを含む。
この構成によれば、フィルタは通風領域の外側に配置される。したがって、空気そのものや異物などがフィルタを損傷することが抑制される。
本発明の第3観点に係る室内ユニットは、第2観点に係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、センサ素子を含む。
この構成によれば、センサ素子は通風領域の外側に配置される。したがって、空気そのものなどがセンサ素子を損傷することが抑制される。
本発明の第4観点に係る室内ユニットは、第1観点から第3観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、吹出口に設けられ、揺動することによって空気が吹き出される方向を変えるフラップ、をさらに備える。通風領域は、フラップの揺動範囲を規定する中心角の内側である。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、フラップの揺動範囲の外側に配置される。したがって、フラップの作用により、冷媒検知センサに空気などが当たることが抑制される。
本発明の第5観点に係る室内ユニットは、第1観点から第4観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、吹出口に隣接して、吹出口から吹出口の長手方向にずれた位置に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、吹出口に隣接して、吹出口から吹出口の長手方向にずれた位置に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサが、吹出口から吹き出す風から外れて配置されるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第6観点に係る室内ユニットは、第1観点から第5観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、複数の吹出口の間に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、複数の吹出口の間に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサが、吹出口から吹き出す風の径路から外れて配置されるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第7観点に係る室内ユニットは、第1観点から第6観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、空調対象空間から空気を吸い込む吸込口、をさらに備える。吸込口へ吸い込まれる空気は、通風領域を通過する。
この構成によれば、吸込口に吸い込まれる空気は通風領域を通過する。したがって、吸込口に吸い込まれる空気が冷媒検知センサを損傷することが抑制される。
本発明の第8観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点に係る室内ユニットにおいて、ガス取込口が、吸込口および吹出口のうち最も低く配置されているものよりも、さらに低い位置に配置されている。
この構成によれば、ガス取込口は、冷媒ガスが漏洩するおそれのある室内ユニットの開口よりも低く配置される。したがって、冷媒ガスが空気より重い比重を持つ場合、検知性能が向上する。
本発明の第9観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点または第8観点に係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、吹出口と吸込口の間に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、吹出口と吸込口の間に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサが、吹出口から吹き出す風および吸込口に吸い込まれる風の径路から外れて配置されるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第10観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点から第9観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、吹出口を基準として、吸込口の反対側に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、吹出口を基準として吸込口の反対側に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサが、吹出口から吹き出す風および吸込口に吸い込まれる風の径路から外れて配置されるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第11観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点から第10観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、吸込口を基準として、吹出口の反対側に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、吸込口を基準として吹出口の反対側に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサが、吹出口から吹き出す風および吸込口に吸い込まれる風の径路から外れて配置されるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第12観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点から第11観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、通風域外部分が、複数の吸込口の間に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、複数の吸込口の間に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサが、吸込口に吸い込まれる風の径路から外れて配置されるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第13観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点から第12観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、冷媒流路部材を収容する筐体、をさらに備える。通風域外部分は、筐体に設けられた吹出口および吸込口以外の開口に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、筐体に設けられた吹出口および吸込口以外の開口に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサを吹出口または吸込口から外れて配置することが可能であるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第14観点に係る室内ユニットは、第7観点から第12観点のいずれか1つに係る室内ユニットにおいて、空調対象空間に面するように配置された化粧パネル、をさらに備える。通風域外部分は、化粧パネルに設けられた吹出口および吸込口以外の開口に配置される。
この構成によれば、冷媒検知センサの通風域外部分は、化粧パネルに設けられた吹出口および吸込口以外の開口に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサを吹出口または吸込口から外れて配置することが可能であるので、冷媒検知センサに風が当たりにくい。
本発明の第1観点から第7観点、および第9観点から第14観点に係る室内ユニットによれば、冷媒検知センサの寿命が保たれやすい。
本発明の第8観点に係る室内ユニットによれば、冷媒ガスが空気より重い比重を持つ場合、冷媒の検知性能が向上する。
<基本構成>
(1)全体構成
図1は、本発明に係る空調機の室内ユニット10を模式的に示している。室内ユニット10は、空調対象空間90である部屋の天井、壁、その他の箇所に設置される。室内ユニット10は筐体11を有している。筐体11には、空調対象空間90にいる使用者に対して美観を与える化粧パネル15が取りつけられていてもよい。筐体11または化粧パネル15には、空調対象空間90から空気を吸い込む吸込口17、および空調対象空間90へ空気を吹き出す吹出口18が形成されている。吹出口18から吹き出される空気、および吸込口17へ吸い込まれる空気が通過する領域を通風領域70と呼ぶ。通風領域70には比較的強い風が発生する。筐体11の内部には、冷媒流路部材20、ファン23、冷媒検知センサ30が配置される。
(1)全体構成
図1は、本発明に係る空調機の室内ユニット10を模式的に示している。室内ユニット10は、空調対象空間90である部屋の天井、壁、その他の箇所に設置される。室内ユニット10は筐体11を有している。筐体11には、空調対象空間90にいる使用者に対して美観を与える化粧パネル15が取りつけられていてもよい。筐体11または化粧パネル15には、空調対象空間90から空気を吸い込む吸込口17、および空調対象空間90へ空気を吹き出す吹出口18が形成されている。吹出口18から吹き出される空気、および吸込口17へ吸い込まれる空気が通過する領域を通風領域70と呼ぶ。通風領域70には比較的強い風が発生する。筐体11の内部には、冷媒流路部材20、ファン23、冷媒検知センサ30が配置される。
(2)詳細構成
(2-1)冷媒流路部材20
室内ユニット10の冷媒流路部材20は、図示しない室外ユニットと共に冷媒回路を構成する。この冷媒回路には、可燃性の冷媒が循環してもよい。可燃性の冷媒は微燃性であってもよい。冷媒流路部材20は、熱交換器21と冷媒配管22を含む。熱交換器21は、冷媒配管22を流れる冷媒と空気の間の熱交換を行う。冷媒は、冷媒流路部材20を流れる際、ガス、気液2相、液体などの様々な状態をとりうる。
(2-1)冷媒流路部材20
室内ユニット10の冷媒流路部材20は、図示しない室外ユニットと共に冷媒回路を構成する。この冷媒回路には、可燃性の冷媒が循環してもよい。可燃性の冷媒は微燃性であってもよい。冷媒流路部材20は、熱交換器21と冷媒配管22を含む。熱交換器21は、冷媒配管22を流れる冷媒と空気の間の熱交換を行う。冷媒は、冷媒流路部材20を流れる際、ガス、気液2相、液体などの様々な状態をとりうる。
(2-2)ファン23
ファン23は、吸込口17から空気を吸い込み、熱交換器21において空気と冷媒との間の熱移動を促進し、吹出口18から空気を吹き出す。ファン23は、制御回路51によって制御される。

(2-3)冷媒検知センサ30
冷媒検知センサ30は、冷媒流路部材20から空調対象空間90へ漏洩した冷媒ガスを検知するためのものである。換言すれば、冷媒検知センサ30は、筐体11の内部に蓄積した漏洩冷媒ガスを検知することを唯一の目的とはしていない。空調対象空間90への冷媒ガスの漏洩を検知する目的のために、筐体11または化粧パネル15には、冷媒検知センサ30が取り付けられるように空調対象空間90に臨んだ開口16が設けられることが好ましい。吸込口17、吹出口18をこの開口16として用いるよりも、冷媒検知センサ30による漏洩冷媒検知用の開口16が別に設けられることが好ましい。
冷媒検知センサ30は、冷媒流路部材20から空調対象空間90へ漏洩した冷媒ガスを検知するためのものである。換言すれば、冷媒検知センサ30は、筐体11の内部に蓄積した漏洩冷媒ガスを検知することを唯一の目的とはしていない。空調対象空間90への冷媒ガスの漏洩を検知する目的のために、筐体11または化粧パネル15には、冷媒検知センサ30が取り付けられるように空調対象空間90に臨んだ開口16が設けられることが好ましい。吸込口17、吹出口18をこの開口16として用いるよりも、冷媒検知センサ30による漏洩冷媒検知用の開口16が別に設けられることが好ましい。
冷媒検知センサ30の出力信号は、有線通信または無線通信によって受信回路52へ送信された後、受信回路52に接続された制御回路51によって処理される。無線通信が行われる場合には、冷媒検知センサ30には電力供給用の電池53が接続されてもよい。
(3)冷媒検知センサ30の詳細
図1に示すように、冷媒検知センサ30のうち、通風領域70の内側に配置されている部分を通風域内部分35と呼ぶ。これに対して、冷媒検知センサ30のうち、通風領域70の外側に配置されている部分を通風域外部分36と呼ぶ。本発明では、冷媒検知センサ30は少なくとも通風域外部分36を有する。冷媒検知センサ30の全体が通風域外部分36であってもよい。
図1に示すように、冷媒検知センサ30のうち、通風領域70の内側に配置されている部分を通風域内部分35と呼ぶ。これに対して、冷媒検知センサ30のうち、通風領域70の外側に配置されている部分を通風域外部分36と呼ぶ。本発明では、冷媒検知センサ30は少なくとも通風域外部分36を有する。冷媒検知センサ30の全体が通風域外部分36であってもよい。
図2は、冷媒検知センサ30の構造の一例である。冷媒検知センサ30は、ケーシング31、回路基板37、センサユニット40を含む。ケーシング31は、回路基板37とセンサユニット40を収容している。ケーシング31には、冷媒ガスを取り込むためのガス取込口32と、回路基板37を支持するための回路基板支持部33が形成されている。センサユニット40は、回路基板37に配置されている。ケーシング31の少なくとも一部は、筐体11または化粧パネル15により構成されていてもよい。その場合には、開口16とガス取込口32とが同一のものであってもよい。一方、筐体11または化粧パネル15がケーシング31と別体である場合には、筐体11または化粧パネル15に設けられた漏洩冷媒検知用の開口16が冷媒検知センサ30のガス取込口32と連通するような態様で、冷媒検知センサ30が配置される。
センサユニット40は、センサカバー41、センサ素子42、フィルタ45を有する。センサ素子42は、冷媒ガスを検知するよう構成されている。例えば、センサ素子42の抵抗値が、冷媒ガスの濃度に応じて変化する。センサ素子42は、回路基板37に実装されている。センサカバー41は、冷媒ガスがセンサ素子42へ到達する前にフィルタ45を通過するように、冷媒ガスを案内する。センサカバー41の少なくとも一部は、筐体11または化粧パネル15により構成されていてもよい。あるいは、センサカバー41の少なくとも一部は、ケーシング31により構成されていてもよい。
冷媒検知センサ30の通風域外部分36は、ガス取込口32を含むように設定される。通風域外部分36は、さらにフィルタ45またはセンサ素子42を含んでもよい。
フィルタ45が筐体11または化粧パネル15と実質的に同一面上に設けられる場合には、フィルタ45そのものがガス取込口32の機能を兼ねる。
(4)特徴

ガス取込口32は通風領域70の外側に配置される。したがって、冷媒検知センサ30を損傷させうる空気そのもの、または異物などが、ガス取込口32を通って冷媒検知センサ30の内部に侵入することが抑制されるので、冷媒検知センサ30の寿命が保たれやすい。

図3および図4は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る室内ユニット10Aを示す。室内ユニット10Aは、天井埋め込みカセット型四方向吹き出し式室内ユニットである。室内ユニット10Aは、天井Cに埋め込まれる。筐体11には、化粧パネル15およびフラップ19が設けられている。フラップ19は、吹出口18に設けられ、中心角θの範囲を揺動することによって空気が吹き出される方向を変える。通風領域70は、フラップ19の揺動範囲を規定する中心角θの内側である。
(1)構成
図3および図4は、本発明の第1実施形態に係る室内ユニット10Aを示す。室内ユニット10Aは、天井埋め込みカセット型四方向吹き出し式室内ユニットである。室内ユニット10Aは、天井Cに埋め込まれる。筐体11には、化粧パネル15およびフラップ19が設けられている。フラップ19は、吹出口18に設けられ、中心角θの範囲を揺動することによって空気が吹き出される方向を変える。通風領域70は、フラップ19の揺動範囲を規定する中心角θの内側である。
冷媒検知センサ30は、例えば場所S1、場所S2、場所S3、場所S4に配置される。場所S1、場所S2、場所S3、場所S4は、いずれも中心角θの外側に位置している。場所S1は、2つの隣接する吹出口18の間に位置している。場所S2は、吹出口18と吸込口17の間に位置している。場所S3は、吹出口18に隣接して、吹出口18から吹出口18の長手方向にずれた位置に位置している。場所S4は、場所S1~S3と同様、化粧パネル15に設けられた吹出口18および吸込口17以外の開口16に位置している。

可燃性の冷媒ガスが流れる冷媒流路部材(40)と、
前記冷媒流路部材から漏洩した前記冷媒ガスを検知する冷媒検知センサ(30)と、
を備え、
前記冷媒検知センサは、前記空調対象空間に面するように配置され、
前記冷媒検知センサは、ケーシング(31)を有し、
前記ケーシングには、前記冷媒ガスを取り込むためのガス取込口(32)が形成されており、
前記冷媒検知センサは、前記吹出口から吹き出される前記空気が通過する通風領域(70)の外側に配置される通風域外部分(36)を有し、
前記通風域外部分は、前記ガス取込口を含む、
