 このような吸収性物品によれば、吸収性物品を着用する際に、弾性部材を伸長すると、孔部を視認しやすくなる。特に、吸収性物品をパッケージから取り出したときなどの、自然状態においては、弾性部材が収縮して形成された皺によって、視認することが難しかった孔部を、吸収性物品の着用時に弾性部材を伸長させると視認できるようになるため、着用時に孔部の存在を知る驚きとともに通気性の良さをより印象づけやすくなる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記前側胴回り部と前記後側胴回り部の前記左右方向の両端部は、それぞれ接合されていることが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、吸収性物品を着用させようとする者が、吸収性物品を着用させる際により確実に孔部を視認できるようにすることができる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記前側胴回り部及び前記後側胴回り部は、それぞれ前記孔部を備えることが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、腹側と背側の両方の通気性を向上させることができる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記他方側胴回り部は、前記前側胴回り部であることが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、吸収性物品を着用者に履かせようとする者が、着用者の腹側に面した状態で吸収性物品を履かせる場合に、孔部をより視認しやすくなる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記他方側胴回り部は、前記後側胴回り部であることが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、吸収性物品を着用者に履かせようとする者が、着用者の背側に面した状態で吸収性物品を履かせる場合に、孔部をより視認しやすくなる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記他方側胴回り部は、不織布を有しており、前記上下方向において、前記孔部と隣接する前記弾性部材との間に高密度領域を有し、前記高密度領域と前記弾性部材との間に外側領域を有しており、前記高密度領域は、前記左右方向に所定の長さを有しており、前記高密度領域の前記不織布の繊維の密度は、前記外側領域の前記不織布の繊維の密度よりも高いことが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、高密度領域の剛性は、外側領域の剛性よりも高いため、孔部の形状を維持しやすくし、孔部をより視認しやすくすることができる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記他方側胴回り部は、前記前後方向について凹凸形状を有しており、前記孔部は、非肌側に凸となる凸部の頂部を跨ぐように設けられていることが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、繊維の密度が高い孔部の縁が着用者の肌に接する恐れを軽減させるため、吸収性物品の肌触りを向上させることができる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、吸収体を有しており、前記上下方向において、前記他方側胴回り部と前記吸収体が重なる領域の長さは、前記一方側胴回り部と前記吸収体が重なる領域の長さよりも短いことが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、他方側胴回り部は、比較的に剛性が高い吸収体と上下方向において重なる領域が短いため、弾性部材を左右方向に伸長しやすくなるため、自然状態では視認が難しかった孔部を、吸収性物品の着用時には視認しやすくなる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、吸収体を有しており、前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記吸収体と重なる領域における前記孔部の数は、前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記吸収体と重なっていない領域における前記孔部の数よりも多いことが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、上下方向において吸収体と重なる領域は、吸収性物品を着用させようとする者が、前側胴回り部の上部を掴んで着用させようとする場合でも、着用させようとする者の腕を脚回り開口部から胴回り開口部に入れて着用させようとする場合でも、着用させようとする者の手で掴む恐れが少ない領域であるため、孔部を視認できる状態を維持しやすくすることができる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記孔部を前記吸収体と重なる領域に前記孔部を設け、前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記吸収体と重なっていない領域に前記孔部を設けないことが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、上下方向において吸収体と重なる領域は、吸収性物品を着用させようとする者が、前側胴回り部の上部を掴んで着用させようとする場合でも、着用させようとする者の腕を脚回り開口部から胴回り開口部に入れて着用させようとする場合でも、着用させようとする者の手で掴む恐れが少ない領域であるため、孔部を視認できる状態をより維持しやすくすることができる。
 かかる吸収性物品において、前記前側胴回り部と前記後側胴回り部の前記左右方向の両端部は、それぞれ接合されており、自然状態において、前記前側胴回り部及び前記後側胴回り部が、前記一方側胴回り部側に凸形状であることが望ましい。
 このような吸収性物品によれば、自然状態において、より高い収縮力で縮められて形成した皺によって視認できなくなっていた孔部は、吸収性物品を着用する際に弾性部材を伸長することで孔部がより大きく開孔されるので、着用させる者の注意を引きやすくなる。
 ===本実施形態に係る使い捨ておむつについて===
 <<<使い捨ておむつ1の構成について>>>
 図1Aは、本実施形態の吸収性物品の一例としての自然状態のおむつ1を前側から見た概略正面図である。図1Bは、自然状態のおむつ1を後側から見た概略背面図である。図2は、展開した伸長状態のおむつ1を肌側から見た平面図である。図3は、図2中のIII-III断面図である。図4は、図2中のIV-IV断面図である。
 以下の説明では、図1の状態(自然状態)のおむつ1は、「上下方向」を有し、おむつ1の上下方向の胴回り開口部BH側を「上側」、股下側を「下側」という。また、おむつ1は、上下方向と交差する「左右方向」と、上下方向及び左右方向と交差する「前後方向」を有し、前後方向の前側を「腹側」、後側を「背側」ともいう。さらに、前後方向を「厚さ方向」ともいい、着用者に接触する側を「肌側」、その反対側を「非肌側」ともいう。また、図2の状態(展開状態及び伸長状態)でのおむつ1の長手方向を「長手方向」、長手方向の一方側を「腹側」、他方側を「背側」ともいい、長手方向の一方側の端部及び他方側の端部をそれぞれ「上側」、長手方向における略中央部C10側を「下側」ともいう。図2等におけるC-Cは、左右方向中心を示している。
 なお、おむつ1の「自然状態」とは、以下のように定義される。まず、製品として梱包されているおむつ1をパッケージから取り出した後、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30を左右方向の両外側に引っ張り、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30がそれぞれ各部材単体の寸法と一致又はそれに近い長さになるまで伸長させる。この伸長させた状態を15秒継続させた後、おむつ1の伸長させた状態を解除して机等の平面に置く。そして、この平面に置いた状態で5分間経過させた状態がおむつ1の自然状態である。「展開状態」とは、前側胴回り部20の側端部20aと後側胴回り部30の側端部30aとの接合をそれぞれ分離し、開いておむつ1全体を平面的に展開した状態である。「伸長状態」とは、おむつ1(前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30)を皺がなくなるまで伸長させた状態をいい、具体的には、おむつ1を構成する部材(前側胴回り部20や後側胴回り部30)の寸法がその部材単体の寸法と一致又はそれに近い長さになるまで伸長された状態をいう。
 本実施形態にかかる使い捨ておむつ1(以下、「おむつ1」と呼ぶ。)は、主に乳幼児を着用対象とした所謂3ピースタイプのパンツ型おむつであり、着用者の股間に配置される吸収性本体10と、着用者の腹側を覆う前側胴回り部20と、背側を覆う後側胴回り部30を有する。前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30は、それぞれ「胴回り部」ともいう。また、おむつ1は、保護者等の着用させる者(以下、「保護者等」ともいう。)によって、乳幼児等に着用させられる。
 図2に示すように、展開状態のおむつ1は、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30とが長手方向に間隔を空けて平行に並んだ状態で、これら胴回り部20、30同士の間に吸収性本体10が架け渡されて、吸収性本体10の縦方向の端部と各胴回り部20、30がそれぞれ接着剤等により接合固定されて、平面視略H形状となっている。そして、略H形状の展開状態から、長手方向の略中央部C10を折り位置として吸収性本体10を二つ折りするとともに、二つ折り状態で、互いに対向する前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30の左右方向の両端部、つまり、前側胴回り部20の側端部(「端部」ともいう。)20aと後側胴回り部30の側端部30a(「端部」ともいう。)を溶着等で接合すると、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30が環状に繋がって、図1A及び図1Bに示すような胴回り開口BH及び一対の脚回り開口LH、LHが設けられたパンツ型のおむつ1となる。
 図2、図3及び図4に示すように、吸収性本体10は、平面視略長方形状を有し、吸収性本体10の長手方向は、上下方向に沿うように配置されている。また、吸収性本体10は、吸収体11と、吸収体11を肌側から覆うトップシート13と、吸収体11を非肌側から覆う外装シート14、バックシート15とを備える。
 吸収体11は、尿等の排泄物を吸収することができる液体吸収性の吸収性コア11cと、吸収性コア11cの外周面を被覆するティッシュペーパー等の液透過性のコアラップシート11rを有する。吸収性コア11cは、所定の液体吸収性素材を所定形状の一例である平面視略砂時計形状に成形した成形体である。液体吸収性素材としては、パルプ繊維等の液体吸収性繊維や、高吸収性ポリマー(所謂SAP)等の液体吸収性粒状物を例示できる。
 トップシート13は、吸収体11から上下方向及び左右方向に突出する平面サイズの不織布等の液透過性のシートである。また、バックシート15は、吸収体11から上下方向及び左右方向に突出する平面サイズのシートであり、液不透過性の防漏シートである。バックシート15に非肌側には、不織布の外装シート14が設けられている。吸収性本体10の吸収体11よりも左右方向の両外側にそれぞれ上下方向に伸縮するレッグギャザー(不図示)を設けてもよい。また、吸収性本体10の左右方向の外側から排泄物が漏れてしまう恐れを軽減させるために、吸収性本体10の左右方向の端部に防漏壁部としての立体ギャザー(不図示)を設けてもよい。
 図3に示すように、前側胴回り部20は、厚さ方向の肌側から順に肌側シート21及び非肌側シート22が重ねられて接合されており、後側胴回り部30は、厚さ方向の肌側から順に肌側シート31及び非肌側シート32が重ねられて接合されている。肌側シート21、非肌側シート22、及び肌側シート31、非肌側シート32は、いずれもスパンボンドやSMS(スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド)等の不織布からなる平面視略矩形のシート部材からなる。本実施形態においては、肌側シート21、31にはSMS不織布を用いており、非肌側シート22、32には、スパンボンド不織布を用いている。スパンボンド不織布は、ポリプロピレン(PP)やポリエチレン(PE)等の熱可塑性樹脂の単独繊維や、PP及びPEの鞘芯構造等の複合繊維からなるものであってもよい。
 肌側シート21と非肌側シート22、及び肌側シート31と非肌側シート32は、ホットメルト等の接着剤でそれぞれ接合されて前側胴回り部20、及び後側胴回り部30が形成されている。
 図3に示すように、前側胴回り部20の上側の端部は、肌触りの向上と耐久性向上のために、前側胴回り部20の上端である前側上端20tを起点として、非肌側シート22が肌側の下方へ折り返されて、折り返し部分22fを形成している。同様に、後側胴回り部30の上部も、後側胴回り部30の上端である後側上端30tを起点として、非肌側シート32が肌側の下方へ折り返されて、折り返し部分32fを形成している。
 また、前側胴回り部20は、折り返し部分22fの下端部から吸収性本体10の腹側の上端部までを肌側から覆うように配置したシート部材24を備えている。同様に、後側胴回り部30は、折り返し部分32fの下端部から吸収性本体10の背側の上端部までを肌側から覆うように配置したシート部材34を備えている。シート部材24、34は、不織布等からなる矩形状のシート部材である。このシート部材24、34によって、吸収性本体10の上下方向の端部が着用者の肌と直接接触することを抑制することができ、着用時における胴回りの肌触りを良好なものにすることができる。また、シート部材24、34は、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30の上下方向の上側端部の強度を高めることができる。
 さらに、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30は、肌側から非肌側に貫通する略円形状の孔部50が、上下方向及び左右方向に所定の間隔で複数設けられている。孔部50の詳細については、後述する。
 前側胴回り部20の肌側シート21と非肌側シート22の間には、左右方向に沿った糸ゴム等の複数の弾性部材25、25・・・が配置されている。弾性部材25は、左右方向に伸長された状態で、肌側シート21及び非肌側シート22に、接着剤等により接合固定されている。複数の弾性部材25、25・・・は、上下方向に間隔を空けながら、並んで配置されている。
 同様に、後側胴回り部30の肌側シート31と非肌側シート32の間には、左右方向に沿った糸ゴム等の複数の弾性部材35、35・・・が配置されている。弾性部材35は、左右方向に伸長された状態で、肌側シート31及び非肌側シート32に、接着剤等により接合固定されている。複数の弾性部材35、35・・・は、上下方向に間隔を空けながら、並んで配置されている。
 弾性部材25、35は、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30に対して左右方向の伸縮性を付与し、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30に複数の皺を形成させている。前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30に形成された皺の多くは、各シート21、22、31、32を左右方向に縮めて、上下方向に沿った形状となる。
 なお、弾性部材25、35のうち、左右方向の中央部付近の吸収体11と重複する領域を非連続として、伸縮力が作用しないようにしている。これにより、吸収体11に作用する左右方向の収縮が抑制されて、吸収体11を略平坦に維持しやすくなるため、排泄物の漏れ等を抑制することができる。
 <<<孔部50について>>>
 以下、孔部50について説明する。前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30に設けられた複数の孔部50は、それぞれ肌側シート21、31及び非肌側シート22、32を貫通しており、おむつ1の着用時において、肌側から非肌側への通気性を向上させる。前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30の孔部50は、それぞれ略円形状で、略同じ大きさである。図2に示すように、前側胴回り部20には、左右において吸収性本体10より外側、且つ、上下方向において吸収体11と重なる領域11fで、上下方向に隣接する弾性部材25の間に、複数の孔部50がそれぞれ千鳥状に配置されている。後側胴回り部30には、左右方向において吸収性本体10より外側、且つ、上下方向において吸収体11と重なる領域11dで、上下方向に隣接する弾性部材35の間に複数の孔部50がそれぞれ千鳥状に配置されている。このとき、各孔部50は、弾性部材25、35を切断せず、弾性部材25、35は、孔部50によって非連続とはされていないことが好ましい。おむつ1において、領域11fと領域11dの上下方向の長さは、略同じである。
 以下、おむつ1の孔部50の構成について具体的に説明する。「収縮力」とは、自然状態において、前側胴回り部20又は後側胴回り部30の収縮状態を維持する力である。より詳しく言うと、おむつ1を左右方向の任意の位置で前側胴回り部20又は後側胴回り部30をそれぞれ右半分と左半分とに分断した場合に、右半分と左半分との間で相互に作用する力が収縮力である。この収縮力が大きいほど自然状態でより収縮された状態となり、発生する皺の数も多くなる。
 前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30の伸長状態における長さが同じ場合、どちらの胴回り部の収縮力が大きいかを判定するには、自然状態においてより縮んだ方が収縮力が大きい方の胴回り部であると判定すればよい。具体的には、図1A及び図1Bに示すパンツ型の状態のおむつ1の前側胴回り部20の側端部20aと後側胴回り部30の側端部30aの接合を分離し、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30をそれぞれ左右方向の両外側に引っ張り、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30がそれぞれ各部材単体の寸法と一致又はそれに近い長さになるまで伸長させる。この伸長させた状態を15秒間継続させた後、伸長させた状態を解除して机等の平面におき、この平面においた状態で5分間経過させた状態で、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30のどちらがより縮んでいるかを判定する。本実施形態のおむつ1においては、前側胴回り部20の方が後胴回り部30よりもより縮んだことから、前側胴回り部20の方が後側胴回り部30よりも収縮力が大きく、後側胴回り部30の方が前側胴回り部20よりも収縮力が小さい。なお、後側胴回り部30を「一方側胴回り部」ともいい、前側胴回り部20を「他方側胴回り部」ともいう。
 なお、テープ型の使い捨ておむつについての収縮力の大きさの比較は、前側胴回り部又は後側胴回り部のいずれか一方にのみ弾性部材を備えている場合には、当然ながら弾性部材を備えている胴回り部の方が、収縮力が大きいと判定することができる。
 また、「収縮力が大きい方の胴回り部」は、「伸長状態の左右方向の長さと自然状態の左右方向の長さの差」を、「伸長状態の左右方向の長さ」で除した値が小さい方の胴回り部であると言うこともできる。
 図5Aは、図1A中の前側胴回り部20のVa-Va断面の模式図であり、図5Bは、図5Aの状態から左右方向に伸長させたVa-Va断面の模式図である。図6Aは、図1B中の後側胴回り部30のVb-Vb断面の模式図であり、図6Bは、図6Aの状態から左右方向に伸長させたVb-Vb断面の模式図である。図5A、図5B、図6A及び図6Bにおいて、肌側シート21と非肌側シート22、及び肌側シート31と非肌側シート32は、それぞれ一体化して示しており、その断面を左斜め下のハッチング領域で示している。図5Aにおける図1A中の前側胴回り部20のVa-Va断面と図6Aにおける図1B中の後側胴回り部30のVb-Vb断面は、左右方向の長さがほぼ同じ領域(単位領域)を示している。
 通常、自然状態のおむつ1は、弾性部材25及び弾性部材35が左右方向に収縮することによって、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30はそれぞれ左右方向に収縮し、図5A及び図6Aに示すような前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30は、それぞれ厚さ方向に起伏した複数の皺が形成される。
 おむつ1は、左右方向の収縮力の小さい方の胴回り部(一方側胴回り部)よりも、左右方向の収縮力が大きい方の胴回り部(他方側胴回り部)の方がより多くの孔部50を備えている。本実施形態においては、左右方向の収縮力の小さい方の後側胴回り部(一方側胴回り部)30よりも、左右方向の収縮力の大きい方の前側胴回り部(他方側胴回り部)20の方がより多くの孔部50を備えている。
 収縮力の大きさがより大きい前側胴回り部20の単位領域当たりの皺の数は、収縮力の大きさがより小さい後側胴回り部30の単位領域当たりの皺の数よりも多い。この多く形成された皺によって、図5Aに示すように、自然状態においては、単位領域当たりの孔部50の数が多い場合であっても、皺によって隠される孔部50が設けられて、前側胴回り部20を非肌側から見た場合に視認することができる孔部50の数が少なくなる。また、前側胴回り部20自体を左右方向に縮めることに伴い、孔部50も左右方向に縮められて、孔部50を視認しづらくなる。
 自然状態のおむつ1を着用させようとする際には、保護者等は、胴回り部20、30を左右方向の外側に伸長させた状態で、胴回り開口部BHから乳幼児の脚を入れて、おむつ1を引き上げる。具体的には、保護者等が胴回り部20、30の上部を掴んで左右方向の外側に広げて、胴回り開口部BHから乳幼児の脚を入れるという方法や、図7に示すように、保護者等が脚回り開口部LHから胴回り開口部BHに向かって腕を入れて胴回り部20、30を左右方向の外側に広げた状態にして胴回り開口部BHから乳幼児の脚を入れるという方法がある。図7は、保護者等が乳幼児におむつ1を着用させる方法の一例を示す図である。
 保護者等が胴回り部20、30を左右方向の外側に伸長すると、前側胴回り部20は、自然状態において形成されていた皺が左右方向に伸ばされて、皺がなくなったり、皺の数が減少したり、孔部50が左右方向に広げられたりする。図5Bは、保護者等が前側胴回り部20を左右方向に伸長させたことによって、Va-Va断面における皺がなくなった状態を示している。このように、図5Aに示した自然状態のおむつ1は、非肌側から孔部50を視認することが難しかったが、図5Bに示した前側胴回り部20を左右方向に伸長させたおむつ1は、非肌側から孔部50を容易に視認しやすくなる。つまり、保護者等は、おむつ1をパッケージから取り出した際には、おむつ1に備えられた孔部50の存在に気付きにくく、通気性について意識をすることが少ない。続いて、乳幼児におむつ1を着用させようとする際には、これまで見えていなかった孔部50が視界に入り、保護者等に驚きを与えやすくなる。一般的に、人間は、物事の変化について、ギャップが大きいほど強く印象に残りやすいという性質を有している。そのため、パッケージから取り出した状態のおむつ1の通気性の良さを感じない状態であればあるほど、その後、おむつ1を着用させる際に見つけた孔部50の印象を強く感じ、おむつ1の通気性の良さを保護者等に印象づけやすくなる。
 一方、収縮力の大きさがより小さい後側胴回り部20の単位領域当たりの皺の数は、収縮力がより大きい前側胴回り部20の単位領域当たりの皺の数よりも少ない。形成された皺の数が少ないことで、図6Aに示すように、自然状態においては、単位領域当たりの孔部50の数が少ない場合であっても、皺がより少ない後胴回り部30を非肌側から見た場合に、皺によって隠される孔部50が少ない。また、前側胴回り部20の左右方向への収縮に比べて後側胴回り部30の左右方向への収縮が小さいため、自然状態において、後側胴回り部材30に設けられた孔部50は左右方向への収縮が小さく、前側胴回り部20に設けられた孔部50よりも視認しやすい。
 前側胴回り部20と同様に、保護者等がおむつ1を乳幼児に着用させるために、胴回り部20、30を左右方向の外側に広げると、後側胴回り部30は、自然状態において形成されていた皺が左右方向に伸ばされて、皺がなくなったり、皺の数が減少したりする。図6Bは、保護者等が後側胴回り部30を左右方向に伸長させたことによって、Vb-Vb断面における皺がなくなった状態を示している。図6Aに示した自然状態のおむつ1も、図6Bに示した後側胴回り部30を左右方向に伸長させたおむつ1についても、非肌側から孔部50をしやすい状態である。つまり、保護者等は、おむつ1を取り出した際に、おむつ1の後側胴回り部30に設けられた孔部50に気付きやすく、乳幼児におむつ1を着用させようとする際にも、自然状態において既に認識していた孔部50を視認することになる。そのため、パッケージから取り出した状態で認識することができるおむつ1の通気性の良さと、おむつ1を着用させようとする際に認識することができるおむつ1の通気性の良さとのギャップが小さく、通気性が良いという印象を与えにくい。
 また、通気性を向上させるためにはより多くの孔部50を形成すればよいものの、前側同胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30にそれぞれ非常に多くの孔部50を設けると、着用しようとする際等に、孔部50が裂けてしまったりして、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30が破損してしまう恐れがあった。
 以上のことから、おむつ1を自然状態から着用させるために胴回り部20、30を左右方向に伸長すると、後側胴回り部30よりも前側胴回り部20の方が、自然状態では視認することができなかった孔部50をより多く視認できるようになる。つまり、後側胴回り部30に設けられた孔部50よりも前側胴回り部20に設けられた孔部50の方が、視認できるようになった孔部50の数が多くなり、孔部50の数のギャップによって保護者等に対してより効果的に通気性の良さを印象付けやすくなる。また、破損の恐れを考慮すると限られた数の孔部50について、効率的に孔部50を配置する必要がある。前側胴回り部20に設ける孔部50の数をより多くし、後側胴回り部30に設ける孔部50の数をより少なくすることで、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30が破損してしまう等の不具合を抑止することができる。
 おむつ1は、前側胴回り部20により多くの孔部50を設けているため、図7に示すように、乳幼児の正面側からおむつ1を着用させようとする際に、前側胴回り部20の孔部50を視認しやすくなり、通気性の良さを認識しやすくなる。
 さらに、おむつ1のようにパンツ型の使い捨ておむつの前側胴回り部20により多くの孔部50を設けることで、保護者等がおむつ1を着用させる際により確実に孔部20を視認しやすくなる。例えば、テープ型の使い捨ておむつの場合は、係止用テープを備えた後側胴回り部に弾性部材を備え、前側胴回り部には弾性部材を備えないことが多く、また、保護者等は、仰向けの状態の乳幼児に着用させることが一般的である。このとき、前側胴回り部より大きい収縮力を有する後側胴回り部に孔部をより多く設けても、保護者等は、テープ型のおむつを着用させる際に、仰向け状態の乳幼児の下に敷かれた状態となった後側胴回り部の孔部を視認することができない場合がある。この点、パンツ型のおむつ1においては、乳幼児の正面側から着用させる場合には、前側胴回り部20の収縮力をより大きくして前側胴回り部20により多くの孔部50を設け、乳幼児の背面側から着用させる場合には、後側胴回り部30の収縮力をより大きくして後側胴回り部30により多くの孔部50を設けることで、乳幼児におむつ1を着用させる際に、孔部50が、より確実に保護者等の視界に入るようにさせることができる。
 なお、図9に示すように、前側胴回り部20の孔部50より上側及び下側にそれぞれ高密度領域Hを有していることが好ましい。図9は、開孔50を拡大して説明する図である。具体的には、前側胴回り部20は、上下方向において、孔部50と隣接する弾性部材25との間に高密度領域Hを有し、高密度領域Hと弾性部材25との間に外側領域Eを有し、高密度領域Hと孔部50との間に低密度領域Lを有している。この高密度領域Hは、所定の長さを有し、その所定の長さは孔部50の左右方向の長さよりも長い。また、高密度領域Hの不織布の繊維の密度は、外側領域Eの不織布の繊維の密度よりも高い。これによって、高密度領域の剛性が外側領域の剛性よりも高くなり、孔部50の形状を維持しやすくすることができ、孔部50をより視認しやすくすることができる。
 高密度領域H及び外側領域Eは,孔部50の形成過程において設けられる。まず、肌側シート21、弾性部材25、非肌側シート22を順に重ねあわせて接着剤等で接合固定する。複数のピンと熱源を備えた第1回転体(不図示)が回転する間に、ピンと嵌合する複数の穴と熱源を備えた第2回転体(不図示)が反対方向に回転し、前側胴回り部20を加熱しながら、第1回転体のピンを、前側胴回り部20に向かって押し込んで、貫通させ、第2回転体の穴に嵌合させることによって、開孔50は形成される。
 さらに、前側胴回り部20は、自然状態においては、複数の皺が形成されているため、前後方向について凹凸形状を有している状態となっている(図5A)。複数の孔部50のうち、図5A中の孔部50tのように、非肌側に凸となる凸部の頂部、つまり前側胴回り部20に形成された皺の最も非肌側の頂部を、跨ぐように孔部50が形成されることが好ましい。孔部50の縁や周囲に設けられた高密度領域Hが着用者の肌に直接に接触する恐れを軽減させることができ、吸収性物品の肌触りを向上させることができる。
 また、パンツ型のおむつ1は、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30の収縮力が異なることによって、前側胴回り部20の側又は後側胴回り部30の側に凸形状を設けやすい。図7は、おむつ1を左右方向の一端部側から見た概略側面図である。図7には、自然状態のおむつ1を示しているが、パッケージから取り出した状態のおむつ1も同様である。自然状態のおむつ1は、収縮力がより大きい前側胴回り部20の側がより縮められるため、収縮力がより小さい後側胴回り部30の側に凸となるような形状となる。このとき、収縮力の大きい前側胴回り部20により多くの孔部50を設けると、自然状態においては、前側胴回り部20側には凹部となり、孔部50をより視認しづらい状態となっているが、おむつ1を着用させようと胴回り部20、30を左右方向に伸長させると、前側胴回り部20の皺が伸ばされるのと同時に孔部50が左右方向に開かれて視認しやすくなる。これによって、より自然状態と着用させようとする際との視認することができる孔部50の数や大きさのギャップを感じやすくなり、保護者等に通気性の良さを印象付けやすくすることができる。
 さらに、前側胴回り部20のうちの、上下方向において吸収体11と重なる領域11fにおける孔部50の数が、上下方向において吸収体11と重ならない領域、つまり領域11fより上側の領域における孔部50の数よりも多いことが好ましい。また、前側胴回り部20のうちの、上下方向において吸収体11と重なる領域11fのみに孔部50を設けて、上下方向において吸収体11と重ならない領域に孔部50を設けないことがより好ましい。上下方向において吸収体11と重なる領域11fは、保護者等が胴回り部20、30の上部を掴んでおむつ1を着用させる場合でも、図7に示すように保護者等の腕を脚回り開口部LHから胴回り開口部BHに向かって入れておむつ1を着用させる場合でも、着用者等の手で掴む恐れが少ない領域である。そのため、領域11fに設けられた孔部50を保護者等の手で潰したり、隠したりする恐れを軽減させることができる。
 ===その他の実施の形態===
 以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、上記の実施形態は、本発明の理解を容易にするためのものであり、本発明を限定して解釈するためのものではない。また、本発明は、その趣旨を逸脱することなく、変更や改良され得るとともに、本発明にはその等価物が含まれるのはいうまでもない。例えば、以下に示すような変形が可能である。
 上述の実施形態においては、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30に、それぞれ孔部50を形成したが、これに限られない。前側胴回り部20又は後側胴回り部30のいずれかのみに孔部50を形成したものでもよい。ただし、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30の両方に孔部50形成することによって、おむつ1の通気性をより向上させることができる。
 また、上述の実施形態においては、より収縮力の大きい前側胴回り部20に孔部50をより多く設けたが、これに限られない。後側胴回り部30よりも前側胴回り部20の収縮力を小さくし、前側胴回り部20よりも後側胴回り部30の孔部50を多く設けてもよい。これによって、うつぶせ寝の状態の乳幼児やはいはいなどを行い動き回る乳幼児におむつ1を履かせる場合に、保護者等は、乳幼児の背面側からおむつ1を着用させると、後側胴回り部30により多く形成された孔部50を視認することができるため、通気性の良さを認識することができる。
 さらに、上述の実施形態においては、前側胴回り部20と吸収体11が重なる領域11fの上下方向の長さと、後側胴回り部30と吸収体11が重なる領域11dの上下方向の長さを略同じとしたが、これに限られない。例えば、より収縮力が小さい後側胴回り部30と吸収体11とが重なる領域11dの上下方向の長さよりも、より収縮力が大きい前側胴回り部20と吸収体が重なる領域11fの上下方向の長さを長くしてもよい(11d>11f)。他の部分よりも比較的に剛性が高い吸収体11と上下方向において重なる領域に設けられた孔部50は、自然状態においても開孔した形状の状態を維持しやすくなるため、領域11d>領域11fとすることで、自然状態において前側胴回り部20における視認可能な孔部50の数をより減少させて、おむつ1を着用させようとする際に、自然状態では視認できなかったより多くの孔部50を視認可能にさせ、保護者等に通気性の良さをより印象づけることができる。
 上述の実施形態においては、前側胴回り部20及び後側胴回り部30に、円形状の孔部50を設けたがが、これに限られない。例えば、矩形や楕円、星形等任意の形状の貫通孔を設けても良い。さらに、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30とで、異なる形状の孔部50を設けても良いし、異なる大きさの孔部50を設けてもよい。
 上記実施の形態に係るおむつ1は、乳幼児を着用対象としたが、これに限定されるものではなく、大人を着用対象としてもよい。また、上述の実施形態においては、吸収性物品の一例として所謂3ピースタイプの使い捨ておむつ1を例示したが、何らこれに限られない。例えば、前側胴回り部20と後側胴回り部30を一体として形成した所謂2ピースタイプの使い捨ておむつや、テープ式の使い捨ておむつでもよい。

Claims (11)

  1.  互いに交差する上下方向と左右方向と前後方向を有し、
     前側胴回り部と、
     後側胴回り部と、を有し、
     前記前側胴回り部又は前記後側胴回り部の少なくとも一方は、前記左右方向に伸縮する弾性部材と、前記前後方向に貫通した孔部を備えた吸収性物品であって、
     前記前側胴回り部及び前記後側胴回り部のうち、前記左右方向の収縮力が小さい方の一方側胴回り部よりも、前記左右方向の収縮力が大きい方の他方側胴回り部の方が前記孔部を多く備えていることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  2.  請求項1に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記前側胴回り部と前記後側胴回り部の前記左右方向の両端部は、それぞれ接合されていることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  3.  請求項1又は2に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記前側胴回り部及び前記後側胴回り部は、それぞれ前記孔部を備えることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  4.  請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記他方側胴回り部は、前記前側胴回り部であることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  5.  請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記他方側胴回り部は、前記後側胴回り部であることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  6.  請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記他方側胴回り部は、不織布を有しており、
     前記上下方向において、
     前記孔部と隣接する前記弾性部材との間に高密度領域を有し、
     前記高密度領域と前記弾性部材との間に外側領域を有しており、
     前記高密度領域は、前記左右方向に所定の長さを有しており、
     前記高密度領域の前記不織布の繊維の密度は、前記外側領域の前記不織布の繊維の密度よりも高いことを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  7.  請求項6に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記他方側胴回り部は、前記前後方向について凹凸形状を有しており、
     前記孔部は、非肌側に凸となる凸部の頂部を跨ぐように設けられていることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  8.  請求項1から7に記載の吸収性物品において、
     吸収体を有しており、
     前記上下方向において、前記他方側胴回り部と前記吸収体が重なる領域の長さは、前記一方側胴回り部と前記吸収体が重なる領域の長さよりも短いことを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  9.  請求項1から8に記載の吸収性物品において、
     吸収体を有しており、
     前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記吸収体と重なる領域における前記孔部の数は、前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記吸収体と重なっていない領域における前記孔部の数よりも多いことを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  10.  請求項9に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記孔部を前記吸収体と重なる領域に前記孔部を設け、前記他方側胴回り部のうちの、前記上下方向において前記吸収体と重なっていない領域に前記孔部を設けないことを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  11.  請求項2から10のいずれか1項に記載の吸収性物品において、
     前記前側胴回り部と前記後側胴回り部の前記左右方向の両端部は、それぞれ接合されており、
     自然状態において、前記前側胴回り部及び前記後側胴回り部が、前記一方側胴回り部側に凸形状であることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
