Description

분산판 및 이를 포함하는 코팅 장치
본 발명은 분산판 및 이를 포함하는 코팅 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 유동층 코팅 장치에 사용되는 분산판 및 이를 포함하는 유동층 코팅 장치에 관한 것이다.
유동층 코팅 장치는 분산판에서 기체를 분사하여 유동화된 입자에 폴리머 용액 등을 코팅시켜 건조하는 장치이다.
분산판은 입자 정체를 방지하고자 기체 분사 홀이 타공되어 있으며, 일정 부분마다 상대적으로 큰 홀이 군집을 이루고 있는 스파우트 노즐(spout nozzle)로 구성되어 있다.
스파우트 노즐의 기체 분사에 의해 베드(bed, 입자층을 의미) 내 입자 비율이 낮은 스파우트 영역이 형성되고, 이곳에 위치한 폴리머 액적 분사 노즐에 의해 입자의 코팅이 이루어진다. 코팅이 완료된 입자는 베드 상부로 분출된 후 하강하면서 건조가 이루어진다.
입자 코팅 효율을 높이기 위해서는, 스파우트 영역에서 입자 유동이 원활히 이루어져 입자간 코팅 간섭현상이 없어야 한다.
장치 스케일-업(scale-up) 시 기존 분산판을 선형 스케일-업 할 경우, 기체 분사 홀의 피치(pitch, 간격)가 벌어지게 되어 입자 유동 데드 존(dead zone)의 발생 가능성이 있으며, 커진 홀에 의해 입자의 빠짐 현상의 발생 가능성이 있다. 따라서, 홀 크기는 생산되는 입자 크기보다 작아야 한다.
장치를 스케일-업 하게 된다면, 위의 스파우트 영역을 잘 발달시킬 수 있는 스파우트 노즐의 최적 배치가 필요하다.
만일, 스파우트 노즐 배치가 엉성할 경우, 입자 코팅 영역이 서로 간섭을 받아 코팅이 불균일하게 이루어지는 문제가 발생한다.
본 발명의 목적은 스파우트 노즐의 최적 배치를 통해 스케일-업 장치에서도 원활한 입자 코팅성능을 확보할 수 있는 분산판 및 이를 포함하는 코팅 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명은 상술한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 복수의 기체 분사 홀을 포함하되, 기체 분사 홀이 밀집되어 군집을 이루는 복수의 스파우트 노즐을 포함하는 분산판으로서, 분산판의 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되고, 분산판의 중심으로부터 분산판의 가장자리까지 복수의 가상 동심원을 따라 복수의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되되, 인접하는 두 가상 동심원에 대해, 분산판의 중심을 기준으로, 바깥쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 개수는 안쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 개수의 2배이며, 바깥쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 배치 간격은 안쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 배치 간격의 절반인 분산판을 제공한다.
본 발명에서 각 동심원간의 간격은 동일할 수 있고, 동일 동심원 내에 배치된 각 스파우트 노즐간의 간격은 동일할 수 있다.
본 발명에서 각 스파우트 노즐의 직경은 분산판 직경 대비 2 내지 20%일 수 있고, 각 동심원간의 간격은 분산판 직경 대비 5 내지 40% 그리고 스파우트 노즐 직경 대비 50 내지 400%일 수 있다.
본 발명에서 스파우트 노즐을 제외한 각 동심원 사이의 영역마다 기체 분사 홀의 개구 비율이 다를 수 있다.
본 발명에서 최외측 동심원의 바깥쪽에 해당하는 제1영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역과 인접한 제2영역의 개구 비율보다 작을 수 있고, 제1영역의 개구 비율은 최내측 동심원의 안쪽에 해당하는 제3영역의 개구 비율보다 작을 수 있으며, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제3영역의 개구 비율보다 크거나 동일할 수 있다.
본 발명에서 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 개구 비율의 2 내지 5배일 수 있고, 제3영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 개구 비율의 1.5 내지 4배일 수 있으며, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제3영역의 개구 비율의 0.5 내지 2배일 수 있다.
본 발명에서 각 동심원마다 스파우트 노즐의 유량이 다를 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명은 챔버; 및 챔버 내부에 설치되는 상술한 분산판을 포함하는 코팅 장치를 제공한다.
본 발명에 따른 코팅 장치는 분산판의 하부에 형성된 윈드 박스 내에 배치되어 기체 흐름을 안내하는 구조물을 추가로 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명에서 구조물은 챔버 직경방향 전체에 걸쳐 형성되고 중앙에 홀을 구비하여 기체 흐름을 챔버 중앙 쪽으로 유도하는 제1구조물; 및 제1구조물 상부에 제1구조물과 동심으로 배치되고, 챔버 직경방향에 대해 챔버 벽 쪽을 제외하고 부분적으로 형성되어 기체 흐름을 챔버 벽 쪽으로 유도하는 제2구조물을 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명에서 제1구조물은 챔버의 직경이 아래쪽으로 감소하는 테이퍼 영역에 배치될 수 있고, 제2구조물의 직경은 챔버 직경 대비 20 내지 50% 그리고 제1구조물의 홀 직경 대비 50 내지 150%일 수 있으며, 제1구조물과 제2구조물의 간격은 제2구조물 직경 대비 20 내지 150%일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따르면, 스파우트 노즐의 최적 배치를 통해 스케일-업 장치에서도 원활한 입자 코팅성능을 확보할 수 있다.

이하, 첨부도면을 참조하여 본 발명을 상세하게 설명한다.
본 발명에 따른 코팅 장치는 분산판에서 기체를 분사하여 유동화된 입자에 코팅액을 코팅시켜 건조하는 유동층 코팅 장치일 수 있다. 입자의 종류는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 비료 입자일 수 있다. 입자의 크기 및 투입량 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다. 코팅액의 종류는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 폴리머 용액일 수 있다. 코팅액의 분사속도 및 코팅량 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다. 기체의 종류는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 공기, 열풍 공기 등을 사용할 수 있다. 기체의 유속 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명에 따른 분산판은 코팅 장치 이외에 다른 유동층 반응기에도 적용 가능하다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 코팅 장치의 구성도로서, 코팅 장치는 챔버(100), 분산판(200), 스파우트 노즐(210), 윈드 박스 구조물(300, 310) 등으로 구성될 수 있다.
챔버(100)는 코팅 장치 본체로서, 원통형 등으로 구성될 수 있고, 하부에는 직경이 아래쪽으로 감소하는 테이퍼(taper) 영역을 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 챔버(100)는 코팅될 입자가 유입되는 입자 유입구, 코팅된 입자가 배출되는 입자 배출구, 기체가 유입되는 기체 유입구, 기체가 배출되는 기체 배출구를 구비할 수 있다. 챔버(100)의 크기 및 재질 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다.
분산판(200)은 챔버(100) 내부에 예를 들어 수평방향으로 챔버(100)의 횡단면 전체에 걸쳐 설치될 수 있다. 챔버(100)가 원통형 챔버일 경우, 분산판(200)은 원판으로 구성될 수 있다. 이 경우, 분산판(200)의 직경은 챔버(100)의 내경과 동일할 수 있다. 분산판(200)의 챔버 내 위치와 개수는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 챔버(100)의 하부 또는 중간 영역에 1개 또는 2개 이상으로 배치될 수 있다. 분산판(200)의 직경과 두께 및 재질 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다. 분산판(200)은 지지부재, 나사결합, 용접 등에 의해 챔버(100)에 장착되거나 고정될 수 있다.
분산판(200)은 분산판(200)의 전체 영역에 걸쳐 복수의 기체 분사 홀을 포함하되, 기체 분사 홀이 밀집되어 군집을 이루는 복수의 스파우트 노즐(210)을 포함할 수 있다. 기체 분사 홀은 그 크기가 매우 미세하고(fine hole) 개수도 아주 많으므로, 도면에서는 별도로 나타내거나 표시하지 않았다. 기체 분사 홀은 스파우트 노즐(210)의 내부 영역(스파우트 노즐이 형성된 분산판 영역, 스파우트 노즐 영역)에도 형성되고, 스파우트 노즐(210)의 외부 영역(스파우트 노즐을 제외한 분산판의 다른 영역)에도 형성되며, 스파우트 노즐(210)의 내부 영역에 형성된 기체 분사 홀이 스파우트 노즐(210)의 외부 영역에 형성된 기체 분사 홀보다 더 조밀한 간격으로 집중적으로 모여 있다. 즉, 스파우트 노즐(210)은 기체 분사 홀의 밀집도 차이에 의해 스파우트 노즐(210)을 제외한 분산판(200)의 다른 영역과 시각적으로 구분될 수 있는 분산판(200)의 영역을 의미할 수 있다. 구체적으로는, 스파우트 노즐(210)은 기체 분사 홀의 밀집도가 스파우트 노즐(210)을 제외한 분산판(200)의 다른 영역보다 높은 분산판(200)의 영역을 의미할 수 있다. 두 영역(스파우트 노즐의 내부 영역 및 외부 영역)간의 밀집도 차이는 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다.
기체 분사 홀은 분산판(200)의 두께 방향으로 분산판(200)을 관통하여 형성되고, 기체는 분산판(200) 아래쪽으로부터 유입된 후 다수의 기체 분사 홀을 통과하면서 분산판(200) 위쪽으로 분사될 수 있다. 기체 분사 홀의 직경과 개수 및 간격 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있으며, 다만 기체 분사 홀의 직경은 입자 직경보다 작아야 한다. 스파우트 노즐(210)의 내부 영역에 형성된 기체 분사 홀의 직경은 스파우트 노즐(210)의 외부 영역에 형성된 기체 분사 홀의 직경보다 큰 것이 바람직하나, 동일하거나 더 작을 수도 있다.
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 분산판의 구성도로서, 스파우트 노즐의 최적 배치를 예시한 것이다. 장치 스케일-업에서 기체 분사 홀은 유동 데드 존 발생을 억제하고자, 기존 크기를 유지한 채 늘어난 분산판 면적만큼 개수를 증가시켰다. 또한, 늘어난 면적을 커버할 수 있는 스파우투 노즐의 최적 배치를 진행하였다. 스파우트 노즐 최적 배치를 진행한 결과, 동심원 배치가 가장 우수한 것으로 판명되었다.
동심원 배치란 복수 개(적어도 2개 이상)의 가상의 원을 상정하되, 각 가상원의 중심은 분산판의 중심과 동일하고, 각 가상 원의 직경은 안쪽으로부터 바깥쪽으로 갈수록 커지며, 스파우트 노즐은 해당 가상 원의 둘레를 따라 복수 개로 배치되되, 각 스파우트 노즐의 중심은 가상 원의 둘레에 위치하는 것을 의미할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이, 스파우트 노즐의 최적 배치는 동심원 배치로서, 분산판(200)의 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐(212)이 배치되고, 분산판(200)의 중심으로부터 분산판(200)의 가장자리까지 복수의 가상 동심원(201, 202)을 따라 복수의 스파우트 노즐(214, 216)이 배치되되, 인접하는 두 가상 동심원(201, 202)에 대해, 분산판(200)의 중심을 기준으로, 바깥쪽 동심원(202)을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐(216)의 개수는 안쪽 동심원(201)을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐(214)의 개수의 2배이며, 바깥쪽 동심원(202)을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐(216)의 배치 간격은 안쪽 동심원(201)을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐(214)의 배치 간격의 절반(즉, 1/2 또는 0.5배)인 것을 특징으로 한다.
도 2에는 분산판(200)의 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐(212)이 배치되고, 분산판(200)의 중심에 가까운 제1동심원(201)에는 60도 간격으로 6개의 스파우트 노즐(214)이 배치되며, 제1동심원(201)의 바깥쪽에 위치하고 제1동심원(201)보다 직경이 큰 제2동심원(202)에는 30도 간격으로 12개의 스파우트 노즐(216)이 배치되어 있다.
이와 같이, 동심원 배치는 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐(212)이 위치해 있고, 다음 동심원(201)에는 60도 간격으로 6개의 스파우트 노즐(214)이 위치해 있으며, 그 다음 동심원(202)에는 30도 간격으로 12개의 스파우트 노즐(216)이 위치해 있다. 분산판(200)이 커질수록 스파우트 노즐 배치는 중앙 한 개에서 시작하여 보다 큰 동심원으로 확장된다. 이때 바깥 동심원(202)의 스파우트 노즐(216)은 안쪽 동심원(201)의 스파우트 노즐(214) 배치 대비 각도는 절반, 개수는 2배가 되게 배치되는 특징이 있다.
이와 같이 동심원으로 확장되는 스파우트 노즐 배치를 적용한다면, 각 스파우트 영역의 독립성 유지로 인해 입자 코팅이 원활하며, 입자 베드 상부 건조 영역의 발달로 인해 입자 표면 끈적임에 의한 뭉침 현상 억제에 유리할 것이다.
도 2에는 2개의 동심원만 예시되었지만, 챔버(100)와 분산판(200)의 크기에 따라 제3동심원 및 제4동심원 등 더 많은 동심원 배치가 이루어질 수 있다. 예를 들어, 제3동심원의 경우, 스파우트 노즐은 15도 간격으로 24개가 배치될 수 있다. 또한, 스파우트 노즐(214)의 개수는 제1동심원(201)에서 6개가 아니라, 6개보다 적은 2개 내지 5개부터 시작하거나, 6개보다 많은 7개 이상 등으로 시작할 수도 있다.
각 동심원(201, 202)은 분산판(202)의 중심을 공유하여 동심으로 배치된다. 각 동심원(201, 202)간의 간격, 즉 각 동심원(201, 202)의 반경 차이는 각 동심원(201, 202)마다 동일한 것이 바람직하나, 다르게 할 수도 있다. 또한, 동일 동심원(201, 202) 내에 배치된 각 스파우트 노즐(214, 216)간의 간격도 동일한 것이 바람직하나, 다르게 할 수도 있다.
각 스파우트 노즐(212, 214, 216)의 직경은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 각각 독립적으로 분산판(200) 직경 대비 2 내지 20%, 5 내지 15% 또는 8 내지 12%일 수 있다.
각 동심원(201, 202)간의 간격은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 각각 독립적으로 분산판(200) 직경 대비 5 내지 40%, 10 내지 30% 또는 15 내지 25%일 수 있다. 또한, 각 동심원(201, 202)간의 간격은 예를 들어 각각 독립적으로 스파우트 노즐(212, 214, 216) 직경 대비 50 내지 400%(즉, 0.5배 내지 4배), 100 내지 300%(즉, 1배 내지 3배) 또는 150 내지 250%(즉, 1.5배 내지 2.5배)일 수 있다.
스파우트 노즐(212, 214, 216)은 코팅액을 분사할 수 있는 홀 또는 노즐 형태의 아토마이저(atomizer)를 구비할 수 있다. 아토마이저는 스파우트 노즐의 중앙에 1개가 형성될 수 있고, 또한 중앙 영역에 복수 개로 형성될 수도 있다. 아토마이저의 직경은 기체 분사 홀의 직경보다 큰 것이 바람직하나, 이에 제한되지 않는다. 또한, 스파우트 노즐 내부에 형성된 1개 이상의 기체 분사 홀을 아토마이저로 사용할 수도 있다. 코팅액은 캐리어 가스(carrier gas, 공기 등)를 통해 이동 및 분사될 수 있다.
도 3은 스파우트 노즐 배치별 입자 관찰을 비교한 것으로, 입자 부피비 0.3을 기준으로 한 것이다. 도 3의 상부 도면을 참고하면, 비교예 1의 경우 실시예 1과 동일한 19개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되고, 분산판의 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되어 있으나, 최외측 스파우트 노즐들은 동심원 상에 배치되어 있지 않다.
비교예 2의 경우, 실시예 1보다 2개 많은 21개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되고, 전체가 동심원 배치를 이루지만, 분산판의 중심에 스파우트 노즐이 없다.
비교예 3의 경우, 21개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되고, 분산판의 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되어 있으나, 최외측에서 두 번째 라인의 스파우트 노즐들은 동심원 상에 배치되어 있지 않다.
도 3의 중간 도면은 입자 분포를 위쪽에서 관찰한 것이고, 도 3의 하부 도면은 입자 분포를 옆쪽에서 관찰한 것이다. 비교예들과 달리, 실시예 1에서는 스파우트 노즐의 최적 배치로 인해 스파우트 영역이 잘 발달하였음을 확인할 수 있고, 스파우트 영역에서 입자 유동이 원활히 이루어져 입자간 코팅 간섭현상이 없어서 입자 코팅 효율을 높일 수 있다.
도 2 및 4를 참고하면, 스파우트 노즐(212, 214, 216)을 제외한 각 동심원(201, 202) 사이의 영역(205, 206, 207)마다 기체 분사 홀의 개구 비율이 다를 수 있다. 개구 비율(opening ratio)은 기체 분사 홀을 포함한 해당 영역의 전체 면적을 기준으로 해당 영역에 형성된 다수의 기체 분사 홀들이 차지하는 면적(기체 분사 홀의 총 면적)의 비율을 의미할 수 있다. 이때, 스파우트 노즐(212, 214, 216)의 면적은 계산에서 제외될 수 있다.
구체적으로, 최외측 동심원(202)의 바깥쪽에 해당하는 제1영역(205)의 개구 비율은 제1영역(205)과 인접한 제2영역(206)의 개구 비율보다 작을 수 있고, 제1영역(205)의 개구 비율은 최내측 동심원(201)의 안쪽에 해당하는 제3영역(207)의 개구 비율보다 작을 수 있다. 즉, 제1영역(205)의 개구 비율이 가장 작을 수 있다. 또한, 제2영역(206)의 개구 비율은 제3영역(207)의 개구 비율보다 크거나 동일할 수 있다.
각 영역별로 개구 비율을 다르게 설정함에 있어서, 기체 분사 홀의 개수를 다르게 설정하거나, 개수를 동일하게 설정하되 기체 분사 홀의 직경을 다르게 설정할 수 있다. 즉, 개구 비율은 기체 분사 홀의 개수 및/또는 직경의 조절을 통해 조절할 수 있다.
더욱 구체적으로 예를 들면, 제2영역(206)의 개구 비율은 제1영역(205)의 개구 비율의 2 내지 5배 또는 3 내지 4배일 수 있고, 제3영역(207)의 개구 비율은 제1영역(205)의 개구 비율의 1.5 내지 4배 또는 2 내지 3배일 수 있으며, 제2영역(206)의 개구 비율은 제3영역(207)의 개구 비율의 0.5 내지 2배 또는 1 내지 1.5배일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다.
도 4는 분산판 영역별 개구 비율 변경에 따른 입자 분포 영향을 비교한 것으로, 스파우트 노즐간 거리가 먼 영역은 보다 큰 타공을 하여 이곳의 입자 뭉침을 억제할 수 있고, 분산판에 입자가 정체하는 것을 개선할 수 있다. 물론, 타공의 크기는 입자 크기를 넘어서는 안 된다.
실시예 2의 경우, 영역 구분 없이 분산판 전체가 하나의 영역(제1영역)으로 구성되고, 제1영역의 개구 비율은 4%이었다. 실시예 2의 경우, 영역 구분이 없어서, 제1동심원과 제2동심원 사이에 고밀도 입자 영역이 형성되었다.
실시예 3의 경우, 최외곽 영역을 제1영역으로 설정하고, 그 안쪽을 모두 제2영역으로 설정하되, 제1영역의 개구 비율은 2.8%이고, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 약 3.42배인 9.6%로 설정하였다.
실시예 4의 경우, 최외곽 영역을 제1영역으로 설정하고, 그 안쪽을 순차적으로 제2영역 및 제3영역으로 설정하되, 제1영역의 개구 비율은 2.8%이고, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 약 3.42배인 9.6%이며, 제3영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 2.75배인 7.7%로 설정하였다. 또한, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제3영역의 약 1.25배이었다.
실시예 2와 비교하여, 실시예 3 및 4에서는 고밀도 입자 영역이 없거나 줄어들었다.
한편, 각 동심원마다 스파우트 노즐의 유량이 다를 수 있다. 이와 같이, 동심원 안쪽과 바깥쪽 스파우트 노즐의 유량 조절을 통해 스파우트 영역의 독립성을 추가로 확보할 수 있다.
도 1 및 도 5를 참고하면, 본 발명에 따른 코팅 장치는 분산판(200)의 하부에 형성된 윈드 박스(wind box, 분산판 하부공간) 내에 배치되어 기체 흐름을 안내하는 구조물(300, 310)을 추가로 포함할 수 있다.
구조물(300, 310)은 챔버(100) 직경방향 전체에 걸쳐 형성되고 중앙에 홀(302)을 구비하여 기체 흐름을 챔버(100)의 중앙 쪽으로 유도하는 제1구조물(300); 및 제1구조물(300) 상부에 제1구조물(300)과 동심으로 배치되고, 챔버(100)의 직경방향에 대해 챔버(100)의 벽 쪽을 제외하고 부분적으로 형성되어 기체 흐름을 챔버(100)의 벽 쪽으로 유도하는 제2구조물(310)을 포함할 수 있다.
구조물(300, 310)은 챔버(100) 내부에 예를 들어 수평방향(횡단면 방향)으로 설치될 수 있다. 제1구조물(300)은 챔버(100)의 횡단면 전체에 걸쳐 설치될 수 있고, 제2구조물(310)은 챔버(100)의 내벽과 이격되도록 부분적으로 설치될 수 있다. 구조물(300, 310)은 각각 원판으로 구성될 수 있고, 제1구조물(300)의 직경은 챔버(100)의 내경과 동일할 수 있다. 구조물(300, 310)은 3개 이상으로도 구성될 수 있다. 구조물(300, 310)의 두께 및 재질 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 적절하게 설정할 수 있다.
제1구조물(300)은 지지부재, 나사결합, 용접 등에 의해 챔버(100)에 장착되거나 고정될 수 있다. 제2구조물(310)은 지지부재, 연결부재 등에 의해 챔버(100)의 내벽과 이격되도록 장착되거나 고정될 수 있다. 제1구조물(300)은 챔버(100)의 직경이 아래쪽으로 감소하는 테이퍼 영역에 배치될 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다. 제2구조물(310)은 챔버(100)의 균일 직경 영역 및 테이퍼 영역 사이의 경계 영역에 배치될 수 있으나, 이에 제한되지 않는다.
제1구조물(300)의 직경은 제2구조물(310)의 직경보다 크거나 동일할 수 있다. 제2구조물(310)의 직경은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 챔버(100)의 직경 대비 20 내지 50%, 25 내지 45% 또는 30 내지 40%일 수 있다. 또한, 제2구조물(310)의 직경은 제1구조물(300)의 홀(302) 직경 대비 50 내지 150%, 70 내지 130% 또는 90 내지 110%일 수 있다. 제1구조물(300)과 제2구조물(310)의 간격은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 제2구조물(310)의 직경 대비 20 내지 150%, 50 내지 120% 또는 70 내지 100%일 수 있다.
제1구조물(300)의 홀(302)은 제1구조물(300)의 중앙 영역에 제1구조물(300)의 두께방향으로 제1구조물(300)을 관통하여 형성될 수 있다. 홀(302)은 원형으로 구성될 수 있고, 제1구조물(300)의 중심과 동심으로 형성될 수 있다. 홀(302)은 중앙 영역에 1개 또는 복수 개로 형성될 수 있다. 홀(302)의 직경은 특별히 제한되지 않고, 예를 들어 제1구조물(300)의 직경 대비 20 내지 80%, 30 내지 70% 또는 40 내지 60%일 수 있다.
제2구조물(310)에도 홀이 형성될 수 있다. 제2구조물(310)에 홀이 있을 경우, 챔버(100)의 내벽 쪽뿐만 아니라, 챔버(100)의 중앙 쪽으로도 기체 흐름을 유도할 수 있다. 홀의 위치, 형상, 개수, 직경 등은 특별히 제한되지 않고 적절하게 설정할 수 있다.
도 5는 윈드 박스 구조물의 설치에 따른 유속 편차 영향을 비교한 것으로(최대 기체 속도 25 m/s), 코팅 장치 하부의 윈드 박스 구조를 변경함으로써, 압력 강하(pressure drop)가 크지 않게 하며, 분산판에 유입되는 기체(공기 등)의 유속 편차(분산판 유속 편차)를 감소시킬 수 있다. 유속 편차는 분산판 전체 영역에 걸쳐서 다수의 국부 영역의 유속을 측정한 후 얻은 평균 유속에 대한 편차일 수 있다. 유속은 센서 등을 이용하여 직접 측정하거나, 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 얻을 수 있다.
도 5를 참고하면, 윈드 박스 구조물이 없는 실시예 1의 경우, 분산판 하부의 윈드 박스 영역에서 기체 흐름이 챔버의 한쪽(왼쪽) 내벽 쪽으로 편향됨으로써, 분산판 유속 편차가 0.90으로 컸다. 이에 따라, 분산판 상부에서도 기체 흐름이 불균일하였다.
그러나 윈드 박스 구조물을 설치한 실시예 5의 경우, 제1구조물에서 기체 흐름이 챔버의 중앙 쪽으로 유도된 후, 제2구조물에 부딪히면서 챔버의 전체 영역에 걸쳐 고르게 분산됨으로써, 유속 편차가 0.61로 현저하게 줄어들었다. 이에 따라, 분산판 상부에서도 기체 흐름이 균일하였다.

Claims (11)

  1. 복수의 기체 분사 홀을 포함하되, 기체 분사 홀이 밀집되어 군집을 이루는 복수의 스파우트 노즐을 포함하는 분산판으로서,
    분산판의 중심에 1개의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되고,
    분산판의 중심으로부터 분산판의 가장자리까지 복수의 가상 동심원을 따라 복수의 스파우트 노즐이 배치되되,
    인접하는 두 가상 동심원에 대해, 분산판의 중심을 기준으로, 바깥쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 개수는 안쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 개수의 2배이며,
    바깥쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 배치 간격은 안쪽 동심원을 따라 배치된 스파우트 노즐의 배치 간격의 절반인 분산판.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    각 동심원간의 간격은 동일하고, 동일 동심원 내에 배치된 각 스파우트 노즐간의 간격은 동일한 분산판.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    각 스파우트 노즐의 직경은 분산판 직경 대비 2 내지 20%이고, 각 동심원간의 간격은 분산판 직경 대비 5 내지 40% 그리고 스파우트 노즐 직경 대비 50 내지 400%인 분산판.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    스파우트 노즐을 제외한 각 동심원 사이의 영역마다 기체 분사 홀의 개구 비율이 다른 분산판.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    최외측 동심원의 바깥쪽에 해당하는 제1영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역과 인접한 제2영역의 개구 비율보다 작고, 제1영역의 개구 비율은 최내측 동심원의 안쪽에 해당하는 제3영역의 개구 비율보다 작으며, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제3영역의 개구 비율보다 크거나 동일한 분산판.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    제2영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 개구 비율의 2 내지 5배이고, 제3영역의 개구 비율은 제1영역의 개구 비율의 1.5 내지 4배이며, 제2영역의 개구 비율은 제3영역의 개구 비율의 0.5 내지 2배인 분산판.
  7. 제1항에 있어서,
    각 동심원마다 스파우트 노즐의 유량이 다른 분산판.
  8. 챔버; 및
    챔버 내부에 설치되는 제1항에 따른 분산판을 포함하는 코팅 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서,
    분산판의 하부에 형성된 윈드 박스 내에 배치되어 기체 흐름을 안내하는 구조물을 추가로 포함하는 코팅 장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서,
    구조물은 챔버 직경방향 전체에 걸쳐 형성되고 중앙에 홀을 구비하여 기체 흐름을 챔버 중앙 쪽으로 유도하는 제1구조물; 및 제1구조물 상부에 제1구조물과 동심으로 배치되고, 챔버 직경방향에 대해 챔버 벽 쪽을 제외하고 부분적으로 형성되어 기체 흐름을 챔버 벽 쪽으로 유도하는 제2구조물을 포함하는 코팅 장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서,
    제1구조물은 챔버의 직경이 아래쪽으로 감소하는 테이퍼 영역에 배치되고, 제2구조물의 직경은 챔버 직경 대비 20 내지 50% 그리고 제1구조물의 홀 직경 대비 50 내지 150%이며, 제1구조물과 제2구조물의 간격은 제2구조물 직경 대비 20 내지 150%인 코팅 장치.
