Abstract
L'invention concerne une machine d'abattage/de transport d'arbres autopropulsée qui peut se déplacer vers le haut et vers le bas d'un terrain forestier incliné ainsi que sur un terrain forestier horizontal et abattre et transporter des arbres de gros diamètre. La machine d'abattage/de transport d'arbres autopropulsée est pourvue, dans un espace interne (8) d'une structure de corps mobile (2), de : un cadre rotatif (11) comprenant un dispositif de préhension (9) ayant une paire de grappins (28) pour saisir et maintenir un arbre sur pied latéralement, et un dispositif de coupe (10) comprenant des lames doubles ou une seule lame (50) ou une scie à chaîne (50') pour couper un arbre sur pied latéralement pour abattre l'arbre sur pied ; et un dispositif pour faire pivoter le cadre rotatif (11) entre une position verticale et une position horizontale du dispositif de préhension et du dispositif de coupe. Les grappins du dispositif de préhension provoque l'abattage de l'arbre sur pied au moyen d'une rotation inverse du cadre rotatif. Après l'abattage, la machine d'abattage/de transport d'arbres se déplace pour traîner et transporter l'arbre abattu par les grappins du dispositif de préhension.
