  • the current collector of the solid-state battery cells that make up the battery By thickening the current collector of the solid-state battery cells that make up the battery, the current capacity of the current collector is increased and the output of the battery is increased.
  • the current collector is made thicker, the amount of expansion or contraction of the current collector caused by the temperature change during use of the battery becomes large. Therefore, the stress inside the solid-state battery cell caused by the expansion or contraction of the current collector increases.
  • the increase in stress caused by the temperature change makes the solid-state battery cell more likely to be damaged, which reduces the reliability of the battery. That is, when the output of the battery is increased by increasing the thickness of the current collector, the reliability of the battery tends to decrease due to a temperature change, and it is difficult to achieve both high output and high reliability of the battery.
