Abstract

Description
본 발명은, 배터리와 섀시 간의 누전을 검출하기 위한 기술에 관한 것이다.
본 출원은 2019년 10월 31일자로 출원된 한국 특허출원 번호 제10-2019-0138010호, 2019년 10월 31일자로 출원된 한국 특허출원 번호 제10-2019-0138012호 및 2020년 09월 01일자로 출원된 한국 특허출원 번호 제10-2020-0111225호에 대한 우선권주장출원으로서, 해당 출원의 명세서 및 도면에 개시된 모든 내용은 인용에 의해 본 출원에 원용된다.
최근, 노트북, 비디오 카메라, 휴대용 전화기 등과 같은 휴대용 전자 제품의 수요가 급격하게 증대되고, 전기 자동차, 에너지 저장용 축전지, 로봇, 위성 등의 개발이 본격화됨에 따라, 반복적인 충방전이 가능한 고성능 배터리에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다.
현재 상용화된 배터리로는 니켈 카드뮴 전지, 니켈 수소 전지, 니켈 아연 전지, 리튬 배터리 등이 있는데, 이 중에서 리튬 배터리는 니켈 계열의 배터리에 비해 메모리 효과가 거의 일어나지 않아 충방전이 자유롭고, 자가 방전율이 매우 낮으며 에너지 밀도가 높은 장점으로 각광을 받고 있다.
한편, 이러한 배터리는 재충전 가능한 단일의 셀로 구현되는 경우도 있지만, 고전압을 공급하기 위한 목적으로 복수의 배터리가 직렬 및/또는 병렬로 연결된 상태로 구현되는 경우가 많다.
이와 같은 고전압을 제공하도록 구현된 배터리는 전기 차량의 섀시로부터 전기적으로 충분히 절연된 상태를 유지하여야 한다. 만일, 배터리의 양극 단자 및 음극 단자 중 적어도 하나와 섀시 간의 절연이 파괴되는 경우(즉, 누전이 발생한 경우), 배터리와 섀시 사이에 누설 전류(leakage current)의 도통 경로가 형성되고, 이에 따라 배터리와 연결된 전기 장비의 오작동을 야기할 수 있으며, 특히 감전 등과 같은 안전 사고가 발생할 수 있다.
배터리의 누전을 검출하기 위해서는, 전압 검출 수단을 이용하여, 배터리에 전기적으로 연결된 적어도 두 노드 간의 전압을 측정할 필요가 있다. 특허문헌 1을 비롯한 종래 기술은, 누전 판정에 요구되는 전압값을 샘플링하기 위한 접지(전압 측정의 기준이 되는 전기적 위치)로서 섀시를 이용하고 있다. 이로 인해, 섀시 대신 배터리의 음극 단자를 접지로 이용하고자 하는 경우에는, 특허문헌 1의 기술을 적용하기 어렵다.
또한, 누전 검출 장치 내의 구성들(예, 스위치, 저항기, 아날로그-디지털 컨버터)이 고장나거나 오동작 중인 경우, 배터리와 섀시 간의 누전을 정확히 검출해내지 못할 수 있다.

본 발명은, 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 안출된 것으로서, 누전 검출에 요구되는 전압의 검출을 위한 접지로서 섀시 대신 배터리의 음극 단자를 이용하는 누전 검출 장치, 누전 검출 방법 및 상기 누전 검출 장치를 포함하는 전기 차량을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
또한, 섀시를 누전 검출 장치로부터 전기적으로 분리한 상태에서, 누전 검출 장치에 포함되는 구성들의 고장을 개별적으로 진단하기 위한 방법을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명의 다른 목적 및 장점들은 하기의 설명에 의해서 이해될 수 있으며, 본 발명의 실시예에 의해 보다 분명하게 알게 될 것이다. 또한, 본 발명의 목적 및 장점들은 특허청구범위에 나타난 수단 및 그 조합에 의해 실현될 수 있음을 쉽게 알 수 있을 것이다.
본 발명의 일 측면에 따른, 누전 검출 장치는, 배터리 및 섀시를 포함하는 전기 차량을 위한 것이다. 상기 누전 검출 장치는, 상기 배터리의 양극 단자와 음극 단자 간의 배터리 전압을 측정하도록 구성되는 배터리 전압 센서; 상기 음극 단자에 연결되는 제1 노드와 상기 섀시에 연결 가능한 제2 노드의 사이에 직렬 연결되는 제1 저항기 및 제1 스위치를 포함하는 제1 직렬 회로; 상기 제2 노드와 상기 양극 단자에 연결되는 제3 노드의 사이에 직렬 연결되는 제2 저항기 및 제2 스위치를 포함하는 제2 직렬 회로; 상기 제1 직렬 회로에 병렬 연결되고, 제4 노드를 통해 직렬 연결되는 제3 저항기 및 제4 저항기를 포함하는 전압 분배기; 상기 제1 노드 및 상기 제4 노드 간의 전압을 나타내는 디지털 신호를 생성하도록 구성된 아날로그-디지털 컨버터; 및 상기 배터리 전압 센서, 상기 제1 스위치, 상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 아날로그-디지털 컨버터에 동작 가능하게 결합된 제어부를 포함한다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 스위치가 온 상태로 상기 제2 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 누전 검출 모드의 실행 중의 제1 검출 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 검출 전압을 결정하도록 구성된다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 스위치가 오프 상태로 상기 제2 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되는 제2 누전 검출 모드의 실행 중의 제2 검출 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제2 검출 전압을 결정하도록 구성된다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 배터리 전압, 상기 제1 검출 전압 및 상기 제2 검출 전압을 기초로, 상기 양극 단자와 상기 섀시 간의 제1 절연 저항 및 상기 음극 단자와 상기 섀시 간의 제2 절연 저항을 결정하도록 구성된다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 절연 저항 및 상기 제2 절연 저항을 기초로, 상기 배터리의 누전 여부를 판정하도록 구성된다.
상기 제1 저항기의 저항은, 상기 제2 저항기의 저항과 동일할 수 있다. 상기 제어부는, 하기의 수식 1을 이용하여, 상기 제1 절연 저항을 결정하도록 구성될 수 있다.

상기 제어부는, 상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제1 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 진단 전압을 결정하도록 구성될 수 있다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제2 스위치의 단락 고장 및 상기 제3 스위치의 단락 고장 중 적어도 하나의 발생 여부를 판정하도록 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 진단 전압이 제1 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치 중 적어도 하나가 단락 고장인 것으로 판정하도록 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 스위치 및 상기 제2 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되고 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제2 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제2 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제2 진단 전압을 결정하도록 구성될 수 있다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 배터리 전압 및 상기 제2 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제1 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제2 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제1 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제2 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제3 저항기의 저항 고장 및 상기 제4 저항기의 저항 고장 중 적어도 하나의 발생 여부를 판정하도록 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제어부는, 상기 배터리 전압과 제1 전압 분배비의 곱과 동일하게 제1 기준 전압을 결정하도록 구성될 수 있다. 상기 제어부는, 상기 제2 진단 전압과 상기 제1 기준 전압 간의 차이의 절대값이 제2 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 상기 제1 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제2 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제1 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제2 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제3 저항기의 저항 고장 및 상기 제4 저항기의 저항 고장 중 적어도 하나인 것으로 판정하도록 구성될 수 있다.

상기 누전 검출 방법은, 상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제1 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 진단 전압을 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 제1 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제2 스위치의 단락 고장 및 상기 제3 스위치의 단락 고장 중 적어도 하나의 발생 여부를 판정하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 실시예들 중 적어도 하나에 의하면, 누전 검출에 요구되는 전압의 검출을 위한 접지로서 섀시 대신 배터리의 음극 단자를 이용하여, 배터리와 섀시 간의 누전을 검출할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 실시예들 중 적어도 하나에 의하면, 배터리의 양극 단자와 음극 단자 각각과 섀시 사이의 절연 저항을 결정하기에 앞서서, 배터리의 누전을 검출할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 실시예들 중 적어도 하나에 의하면, 누전 검출 장치를 섀시로부터 전기적으로 분리한 상태에서, 누전 검출 장치의 고장을 진단할 수 있다.

누전 검출 장치(100)는, 제3 직렬 회로(140) 및 제5 노드(N5)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 제3 직렬 회로(140)는, 전기적으로 직렬 연결되는 제5 저항기(141) 및 제3 스위치(142)를 포함한다. 제5 노드(N5)는, 섀시(2)와 실질적으로 동일 전위를 가진다. 따라서, 어떤 구성이 제5 노드(N5)에 전기적으로 연결되어 있다는 것은, 섀시(2)에도 전기적으로 연결되어 있음을 나타낸다. 제3 직렬 회로(140)가 누전 검출 장치(100)로부터 생략되는 경우, 제2 노드(N2)와 제5 노드(N5)는 동일 노드라고 할 수 있다.
본 명세서에서 사용된 용어인 '노드'란, 둘 이상의 전기 부품이 상호 전기적으로 결합되는 위치나 영역을 의미한다. 즉, 제1 내지 제5 노드(N1, N2, N3, N4, N5)는, 누전 검출 장치(100)의 각 구성, 배터리(10) 및 섀시(2)가 서로 전기적으로 연결되는, 버스바나 전선 등과 같은 도전체의 일부분일 수 있다.

배터리 전압 센서(102)는, 배터리(10)의 양단에 걸친 배터리 전압을 측정하기 위해, 배터리(10)의 양극 단자(11)와 음극 단자(12)에 전기적으로 연결된다. 배터리 전압 센서(102)는, 측정된 배터리 전압을 나타내는 신호를 생성하도록 구성된다.
제1 직렬 회로(110)는, 제1 노드(N1)와 제2 노드(N2)의 사이에 전기적으로 연결된다. 제1 직렬 회로(110)는, 서로 전기적으로 직렬 연결된 제1 저항기(111) 및 제1 스위치(112)를 포함한다. 즉, 제1 저항기(111) 및 제1 스위치(112) 각각의 일단은 서로 공통 연결되고, 제1 저항기(111) 및 제1 스위치(112) 각각의 타단 중 하나는 제1 노드(N1)에 다른 하나는 제2 노드(N2)에 전기적으로 연결된다. 제1 저항기(111)는, 제1 스위치(112)가 온 상태로 제어되는 경우의 돌입 전류를 방지하도록 제공되는 것이다.
제2 직렬 회로(120)는, 제2 노드(N2)와 제3 노드(N3)의 사이에 전기적으로 연결된다. 제2 직렬 회로(120)는, 서로 전기적으로 직렬 연결된 제2 저항기(121) 및 제2 스위치(122)를 포함한다. 즉, 제2 저항기(121) 및 제2 스위치(122) 각각의 일단은 서로 공통 연결되고, 제2 저항기(121) 및 제2 스위치(122) 각각의 타단 중 하나는 제2 노드(N2)에 다른 하나는 제3 노드(N3)에 전기적으로 연결된다. 제2 저항기(121)는, 제2 스위치(122)가 온 상태로 제어되는 경우의 돌입 전류를 방지하도록 제공되는 것이다. 제1 저항기(111)의 저항과 제2 저항기(121)의 저항(resistance)은 서로 동일할 수 있다.
제1 스위치(112), 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142)는, 모스펫(MOSFET: Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor)과 같은 공지의 스위칭 소자일 수 있다.
전압 분배기(130)는, 제1 직렬 회로(110)에 전기적으로 병렬 연결된다. 즉, 전압 분배기(130)는, 제1 노드(N1)와 제2 노드(N2)의 사이에 전기적으로 연결된다. 전압 분배기(130)는, 서로 직렬 연결된 제3 저항기(131) 및 제4 저항기(132)를 포함한다. 제3 저항기(131)와 제4 저항기(132) 각각의 일단은 제4 노드(N4)를 통해 서로 전기적으로 연결된다. 제3 저항기(131)의 타단은 제1 노드(N1)에 전기적으로 연결되고, 제4 저항기(132)의 타단은 제2 노드(N2)에 전기적으로 연결된다. 제4 저항기(132)의 저항은, 제3 저항기(131)의 저항의 수 배~수백 배일 수 있다.
제3 스위치(142)는, 제2 노드(N2)와 제5 노드(N5)의 사이에 전기적으로 연결된다. 제5 저항기(141)는, 제3 노드(N3)와 제5 노드(N5)의 사이에 전기적으로 연결된다. 따라서, 제3 스위치(142)가 온 상태인 동안, 제5 저항기(141)는 제2 직렬 회로(120)에 전기적으로 병렬 연결될 수 있다. 제5 저항기(141)의 저항은, 제3 저항기(131)의 저항과 제4 저항기(132)의 저항의 합과 동일할 수 있다.
아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)는, 제1 노드(N1) 및 제4 노드(N4)에 전기적으로 연결된다. 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)는, 전압 분배기(130)의 제3 저항기(131)의 양단에 걸친 전압을 측정하도록 제공된다. 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)는, 음극 단자(12)에 전기적으로 연결되어 음극 단자(12)와 동전위를 가지는 제1 노드(N1)를 접지로 이용하여, 제1 노드(N1) 및 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압을 나타내는 디지털 신호를 생성하도록 구성된다.
제어부(160)는, 하드웨어적으로, ASICs(application specific integrated circuits), DSPs(digital signal processors), DSPDs(digital signal processing devices), PLDs(programmable logic devices), FPGAs(field programmable gate arrays), 마이크로 프로세서(microprocessors), 기타 기능 수행을 위한 전기적 유닛 중 적어도 하나를 이용하여 구현될 수 있다. 제어부(160)는, 그것의 내부에 메모리를 포함할 수 있다. 메모리에는, 후술할 방법을 실행하는 데에 필요한 프로그램 및 각종 데이터가 저장될 수 있다. 메모리는, 예컨대 플래시 메모리 타입(flash memory type), 하드디스크 타입(hard disk type), SSD 타입(Solid State Disk type), SDD 타입(Silicon Disk Drive type), 멀티미디어 카드 마이크로 타입(multimedia card micro type), 램(random access memory; RAM), SRAM(static random access memory), 롬(read-only memory; ROM), EEPROM(electrically erasable programmable read-only memory), PROM(programmable read-only memory) 중 적어도 하나의 타입의 저장매체를 포함할 수 있다.
제어부(160)는, 배터리 전압 센서(102), 제1 스위치(112), 제2 스위치(122), 제3 스위치(142) 및 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)에 동작 가능하게 결합된다. 제어부(160)는, 제1 스위치(112), 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142)를 독립적으로 제어할 수 있다. 즉, 제1 스위치(112), 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142)는 각각 온 상태 또는 오프 상태로 제어될 수 있다.
제어부(160)는, 제1 내지 제3 스위칭(S1, S2, S3) 중 하나 또는 둘 이상을 선택적으로 출력하여, 제1 내지 제3 스위치(112, 122, 142)를 독립적으로 제어할 수 있다.
제1 스위치(112)가 제어부(160)로부터의 제1 스위칭 신호(S1)에 응답하여 온 상태로 제어되는 동안, 제1 노드(N1)는 제1 직렬 회로(110)를 통해 제2 노드(N2)에 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
제2 스위치(122)가 제어부(160)로부터의 제2 스위칭 신호(S2)에 응답하여 온 상태로 제어되는 동안, 제2 노드(N2)는 제2 직렬 회로(120)를 통해 제3 노드(N3)에 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
제3 스위치(142)가 제어부(160)로부터의 제3 스위칭 신호(S3)에 응답하여 온 상태로 제어되는 동안, 제5 노드(N5)는 제3 스위치(142)를 통해 제2 노드(N2)에 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
제1 저항기(111), 제2 저항기(121), 제3 저항기(131), 제4 저항기(132) 및 제5 저항기(141) 각각의 미리 정해진 저항을 나타내는 데이터는, 메모리에 미리 저장되어 있다.
전압 분배기(130)는, 제1 노드(N1)와 제2 노드(N2) 간의 전압으로부터 제1 노드(N1)와 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압을 생성하도록 제공된다. 제1 노드(N1)와 제2 노드(N2) 간의 전압은, 전압 분배기(130)의 양단에 걸친 전압이다. 제1 노드(N1)와 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압은, 제4 저항기(132)의 양단에 걸친 전압이다.
제1 노드(N1)와 제2 노드(N2) 간의 전압에 대한 제1 노드(N1)와 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압의 비율은, 제3 저항기(131)의 저항과 제4 저항기(132)의 저항의 합산값에 대한 제4 저항기(132)의 저항의 비율과 동일하다. 예컨대, 제1 노드(N1)와 제2 노드(N2) 간의 전압이 100V, 제3 저항기(131)의 저항이 5.98MΩ, 제4 저항기(132)의 저항이 0.02MΩ인 경우, 제1 노드(N1)와 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압은 100×0.02/(5.98+0.02) V이다.
제어부(160)는, 누전 검출을 위해, 제1 및 제2 누전 검출 모드를 선택적으로 실행할 수 있다. 제어부(160)는, 배터리(10)의 충방전이 중단되어 있는 동안, 제1 누전 검출 모드와 제2 누전 검출 모드를 순차적으로 실행할 수 있다.
제어부(160)는, 제1 누전 검출 모드를 실행 시, 제1 스위치(112)를 온 상태로 제2 스위치(122)를 오프 상태로 제어한다. 제어부(160)는, 제1 누전 검출 모드가 실행 중의 제1 검출 시점에서 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)에 의해 생성된 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 검출 전압을 결정한다. 제1 검출 전압은, 제1 검출 시점에서의 제3 저항기(131)의 양단에 걸친 전압이다. 제1 검출 시점은, 제1 누전 검출 모드의 시작 시점으로부터 소정 시간 경과 후의 시점일 수 있다. 그 이유는, 제1 누전 검출 모드가 실행된 직후에는 제1 스위치(112)와 제2 스위치(122)의 상태가 순간적으로 변화함으로 인해, 제1 노드(N1)와 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압이 불안정할 수 있기 때문이다.
제어부(160)는, 제2 누전 검출 모드를 실행 시, 제1 스위치(112)를 오프 상태로 제2 스위치(122)를 온 상태로 제어한다. 제어부(160)는, 제2 누전 검출 모드가 실행 중의 제2 검출 시점에서 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)에 의해 생성된 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제2 검출 전압을 결정한다. 제2 검출 전압은, 제2 검출 시점에서의 제3 저항기(131)의 양단에 걸친 전압이다. 제2 검출 시점은, 제2 누전 검출 모드의 시작 시점으로부터 소정 시간 경과 후의 시점일 수 있다. 그 이유는, 제2 누전 검출 모드가 실행된 직후에는 제1 스위치(112)와 제2 스위치(122)의 상태가 순간적으로 변화함으로 인해, 제1 노드(N1)와 제4 노드(N4) 간의 전압이 불안정할 수 있기 때문이다.
제어부(160)는, 제1 및 제2 누전 검출 모드가 실행되는 동안, 제3 스위치(142)를 온 상태로 제어할 수 있다.

도 4는 본 발명에 따른 누전 검출 장치의 자가 진단을 위한 고장 진단 방법을 예시적으로 보여주는 순서도이다. 도 4의 방법은, 누전 검출 장치(100)의 자가 진단 프로세스이다. 도 4의 방법의 단계들은, 누전 검출 방법으로서 포함될 수 있다. 도 4의 방법은, 도 2 또는 도 3의 누전 검출 방법의 실행에 앞서서 실행될 수 있다.
도 1 및 도 4를 참조하면, 단계 S410에서, 제어부(160)는, 제1 고장 진단 모드를 실행한다. 제1 고장 진단 모드는, 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142)를 오프 상태로 제어하는 모드이다. 제3 스위치(142)를 오프 상태로 제어하는 이유는, 섀시(2)에 전기적으로 연결된 제5 노드(N5)를 제2 노드(N2)로부터 전기적으로 분리하기 위함이다. 제3 스위치(142)가 오프되면, 배터리(10), 누전 검출 장치(100) 및 섀시(2) 간의 폐회로가 사라지게 된다. 제1 고장 진단 모드에서, 제1 스위치(112)는 오프 상태로 제어될 수 있으나, 온 상태로 제어되는 것도 무방하다.
단계 S412에서, 제어부(160)는, 제1 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제1 진단 시점에서 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)에 의해 생성된 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 진단 전압을 결정한다. 제1 진단 시점은, 제1 고장 진단 모드의 시작 시점으로부터 소정 시간 경과 후의 시점일 수 있다. 제1 진단 전압은, 제1 진단 시점에서의 제3 저항기(131)의 양단에 걸친 전압을 나타낸다.
단계 S414에서, 제어부(160)는, 제1 진단 전압을 기초로, 제1 고장 상태가 발생하였는지 여부를 판정한다. 제1 고장 상태는, 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142) 중 적어도 하나의 단락 고장을 나타낸다. 단락 고장(short circuit fault)이란, 스위치가 오프되지 못하는 고장을 의미한다.
제1 고장 진단 모드에 의해 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142)가 둘 다 오프된다면, 전압 분배기(130)는 양극 단자(11)로부터 전기적으로 분리되므로, 제1 진단 전압은 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)의 전압 분해능(예, 0.03V) 이하여야 한다. 반면, 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142) 중 적어도 하나가 오프되지 않는다면, 제1 진단 전압은 전압 분해능보다 훨씬 커지게 된다.
제어부(160)는, 제1 진단 전압이 제1 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 제1 고장 상태가 발생가 발생한 것으로 판정한다. 제1 임계 전압은, 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)의 전압 분해능을 고려하여, 0.04V 등으로 미리 정해진 것이다. 단계 S414의 값이 "예"인 것은, 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142) 중 적어도 하나가 단락 고장임을 나타낸다. 단계 S414의 값이 "아니오"인 것은, 제2 스위치(122) 및 제3 스위치(142)가 둘 다 오프되었음을 나타낸다. 단계 S414의 값이 "아니오"인 경우, 단계 S420으로 진행한다. 단계 S414의 값이 "예"인 경우, 단계 S450으로 진행한다.
단계 S420에서, 제어부(160)는, 제2 고장 진단 모드를 실행한다. 제2 고장 진단 모드는, 제1 스위치(112) 및 제2 스위치(122)는 온 상태로, 제3 스위치(142)를 오프 상태로 제어하는 모드이다. 제3 스위치(142)를 오프 상태로 제어하는 이유는, 섀시(2)에 전기적으로 연결된 제5 노드(N5)를 제2 노드(N2)로부터 전기적으로 분리하기 위함이다.

단계 S430에서, 제어부(160)는, 제3 고장 진단 모드를 실행한다. 제3 고장 진단 모드는, 제2 스위치(122)를 온 상태로, 제1 스위치(112) 및 제3 스위치(142)를 오프 상태로 제어하는 모드이다. 제3 스위치(142)를 오프 상태로 제어하는 이유는, 섀시(2)에 전기적으로 연결된 제5 노드(N5)를 제2 노드(N2)로부터 전기적으로 분리하기 위함이다.
단계 S432에서, 제어부(160)는, 제3 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제3 진단 시점에서 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)에 의해 생성된 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제3 진단 전압을 결정한다. 제3 진단 시점은, 제3 고장 진단 모드의 시작 시점으로부터 소정 시간 경과 후의 시점일 수 있다. 제3 진단 전압은, 제3 진단 시점에서의 제3 저항기(131)의 양단에 걸친 전압을 나타낸다.
단계 S434에서, 제어부(160)는, 제3 진단 전압 및 배터리 전압을 기초로, 제3 고장 상태가 발생하였는지 여부를 판정한다. 제3 고장 상태는, 제1 스위치(112)의 단락 고장을 나타낸다.
제3 고장 진단 모드에 의해 제1 스위치(112) 및 제3 스위치(142)가 둘 다 오프되고 제2 스위치(122)가 온된다면, 전압 분배기(130)는 제2 직렬 회로(120)를 통해 양극 단자(11)에 전기적으로 연결된다. 이 경우, 배터리 전압과 제3 진단 전압은, 아래의 수식 7에 따른 관계를 가지게 된다.

단계 S442에서, 제어부(160)는, 제4 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제4 진단 시점에서 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)에 의해 생성된 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제4 진단 전압을 결정한다. 제4 진단 시점은, 제4 고장 진단 모드의 시작 시점으로부터 소정 시간 경과 후의 시점일 수 있다. 제4 진단 전압은, 제4 진단 시점에서의 제3 저항기(131)의 양단에 걸친 전압을 나타낸다.
단계 S444에서, 제어부(160)는, 제4 진단 전압을 기초로, 제4 고장 상태가 발생하였는지 여부를 판정한다. 제4 고장 상태는, 제3 스위치(142)의 개방 고장을 나타낸다.
제4 고장 진단 모드에 의해 제4 스위치(142)가 온된다면, 전압 분배기(130)는 제5 저항기(141)를 통해 양극 단자(11)로부터 전기적으로 연결되므로, 제4 진단 전압은 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)의 전압 분해능(예, 0.03V) 이상이어야 한다. 따라서, 제어부(160)는, 제4 진단 전압이 제4 임계 전압보다 작은 경우, 제4 고장 상태가 발생가 발생한 것으로 판정한다. 제4 임계 전압은, 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)의 전압 분해능을 고려하여, 미리 정해진 것이다. 예컨대, 제4 임계 전압은, 제1 임계 전압과 동일할 수 있다.
대안적으로, 제어부(160)는, 제4 진단 전압과 제3 기준 전압 간의 차이의 절대값이 제5 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 제4 고장 상태가 발생한 것으로 판정한다. 제3 기준 전압은, 배터리 전압과 제3 전압 분배비의 곱과 동일하다. 제5 임계 전압은, 아날로그-디지털 컨버터(150)의 전압 분해능을 고려하여, 미리 정해진 것이다. 예컨대, 제5 임계 전압은, 제1 임계 전압과 동일할 수 있다. 제4 고장 진단 모드에 의해 제3 스위치(142)가 정상적으로 닫혀진 경우, 제3 전압 분배비, 배터리 전압 및 제4 진단 전압은, 아래의 수식 8과 같은 관계를 만족한다.

단계 S450에서, 제어부(160)는, 고장 알람 신호를 생성한다. 고장 알람 신호는, 누전 검출 장치(100)에 고장이 발생하여 누전 검출이 불가능함을 나타낸다. 인터페이스부(170)는, 제어부(160)로부터의 고장 알람 신호를 사용자가 인지할 수 있는 형태의 신호로 출력할 수 있다.
이상에서 설명한 본 발명의 실시예는 장치 및 방법을 통해서만 구현이 되는 것은 아니며, 본 발명의 실시예의 구성에 대응하는 기능을 실현하는 프로그램 또는 그 프로그램이 기록된 기록 매체를 통해 구현될 수도 있으며, 이러한 구현은 앞서 설명한 실시예의 기재로부터 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야의 전문가라면 쉽게 구현할 수 있는 것이다.
또한, 이상에서 설명한 본 발명은 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 있어 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 여러 가지 치환, 변형 및 변경이 가능하므로 전술한 실시예 및 첨부된 도면에 의해 한정되는 것이 아니라, 다양한 변형이 이루어질 수 있도록 각 실시예들의 전부 또는 일부가 선택적으로 조합되어 구성될 수 있다.
Claims (15)
- 배터리 및 섀시를 포함하는 전기 차량을 위한 누전 검출 장치에 있어서,상기 배터리의 양극 단자와 음극 단자 간의 배터리 전압을 측정하도록 구성되는 배터리 전압 센서;상기 음극 단자에 연결되는 제1 노드와 상기 섀시에 연결 가능한 제2 노드의 사이에 직렬 연결되는 제1 저항기 및 제1 스위치를 포함하는 제1 직렬 회로;상기 제2 노드와 상기 양극 단자에 연결되는 제3 노드의 사이에 직렬 연결되는 제2 저항기 및 제2 스위치를 포함하는 제2 직렬 회로;상기 제1 직렬 회로에 병렬 연결되고, 제4 노드를 통해 직렬 연결되는 제3 저항기 및 제4 저항기를 포함하는 전압 분배기;상기 제1 노드 및 상기 제4 노드 간의 전압을 나타내는 디지털 신호를 생성하도록 구성된 아날로그-디지털 컨버터; 및상기 배터리 전압 센서, 상기 제1 스위치, 상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 아날로그-디지털 컨버터에 동작 가능하게 결합된 제어부를 포함하되,상기 제어부는,상기 제1 스위치가 온 상태로 상기 제2 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 누전 검출 모드의 실행 중의 제1 검출 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 검출 전압을 결정하고,상기 제1 스위치가 오프 상태로 상기 제2 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되는 제2 누전 검출 모드의 실행 중의 제2 검출 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제2 검출 전압을 결정하고,상기 배터리 전압, 상기 제1 검출 전압 및 상기 제2 검출 전압을 기초로, 상기 양극 단자와 상기 섀시 간의 제1 절연 저항 및 상기 음극 단자와 상기 섀시 간의 제2 절연 저항을 결정하고,상기 제1 절연 저항 및 상기 제2 절연 저항을 기초로, 상기 배터리의 누전 여부를 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,직렬 연결된 제3 스위치 및 제5 저항기를 포함하는 제3 직렬 회로를 더 포함하되,상기 제3 스위치는, 상기 섀시와 상기 제2 노드 간에 연결되고,상기 제5 저항기는, 상기 섀시와 상기 제3 노드 간에 연결되고,상기 제3 스위치가 온 상태인 경우, 상기 제2 노드가 상기 제3 스위치를 통해 상기 섀시에 연결되고,상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태인 경우, 상기 제2 노드가 상기 섀시로부터 분리되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제1 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 진단 전압을 결정하고,상기 제1 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제2 스위치의 단락 고장 및 상기 제3 스위치의 단락 고장 중 적어도 하나의 발생 여부를 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제1 진단 전압이 제1 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치 중 적어도 하나가 단락 고장인 것으로 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제1 스위치 및 상기 제2 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되고 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제2 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제2 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제2 진단 전압을 결정하고,상기 배터리 전압 및 상기 제2 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제1 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제2 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제1 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제2 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제3 저항기의 저항 고장 및 상기 제4 저항기의 저항 고장 중 적어도 하나의 발생 여부를 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 배터리 전압과 제1 전압 분배비의 곱과 동일하게 제1 기준 전압을 결정하고,상기 제2 진단 전압과 상기 제1 기준 전압 간의 차이의 절대값이 제2 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 상기 제1 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제2 스위치의 개방 고장, 상기 제1 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제2 저항기의 저항 고장, 상기 제3 저항기의 저항 고장 및 상기 제4 저항기의 저항 고장 중 적어도 하나인 것으로 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제1 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되고 상기 제2 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되는 제3 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제3 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제3 진단 전압을 결정하고,상기 배터리 전압 및 상기 제3 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제1 스위치의 단락 고장의 발생 여부를 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 배터리 전압과 제2 전압 분배비의 곱과 동일하게 제2 기준 전압을 결정하고,상기 제3 진단 전압과 상기 제2 기준 전압 간의 차이의 절대값이 제3 임계 전압보다 큰 경우, 상기 제1 스위치가 단락 고장인 것으로 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제1 스위치 및 상기 제2 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되고 상기 제3 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되는 제4 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제4 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제4 진단 전압을 결정하고,상기 제4 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제3 스위치의 개방 고장의 발생 여부를 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제4 진단 전압이 제4 임계 전압보다 작은 경우, 상기 제3 스위치가 개방 고장인 것으로 판정하도록 구성되는 누전 검출 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 상기 누전 검출 장치를 포함하는 전기 차량.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 상기 누전 검출 장치를 이용하는 누전 검출 방법에 있어서,상기 제1 스위치가 온 상태로 상기 제2 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 누전 검출 모드의 실행 중의 제1 검출 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 검출 전압을 결정하는 단계;상기 제1 스위치가 오프 상태로 상기 제2 스위치가 온 상태로 제어되는 제2 누전 검출 모드의 실행 중의 제2 검출 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제2 검출 전압을 결정하는 단계;상기 배터리 전압, 상기 제1 검출 전압 및 상기 제2 검출 전압을 기초로, 상기 양극 단자와 상기 섀시 간의 제1 절연 저항 및 상기 음극 단자와 상기 섀시 간의 제2 절연 저항을 결정하는 단계; 및상기 제1 절연 저항 및 상기 제2 절연 저항을 기초로, 상기 배터리의 누전 여부를 판정하는 단계를 포함하는 누전 검출 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 제2 스위치 및 상기 제3 스위치가 오프 상태로 제어되는 제1 고장 진단 모드의 실행 중의 제1 진단 시점에서의 상기 디지털 신호를 기초로, 제1 진단 전압을 결정하는 단계; 및상기 제1 진단 전압을 기초로, 상기 제2 스위치의 단락 고장 및 상기 제3 스위치의 단락 고장 중 적어도 하나의 발생 여부를 판정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 누전 검출 방법.
