Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, and more particularly, to a cleaner having a cleaning unit capable of compressing dust inside a dust container in a state in which the dust container is not opened.
- a vacuum cleaner is a device that performs cleaning by sucking or wiping dust or foreign matter in an area to be cleaned.
- a vacuum cleaner may be divided into a manual cleaner in which the user directly moves the cleaner to perform cleaning, and an automatic cleaner in which the user performs cleaning while driving by themselves.
- the manual cleaner may be classified into a canister-type cleaner, an upright-type cleaner, a handy-type cleaner, a stick-type cleaner, and the like according to the shape of the cleaner.
- the handheld vacuum cleaner includes a separation device that separates waste and dust from the airflow.
- the separation device comprises a centrifuge having one or more cyclones.
- the centrifugal separator comprises a first cyclone having a dust collector having a wall.
- a dust collector is disposed below the first cyclone, and the dust collector may be opened and closed by a base (lower cover). The base is rotated by a hinge to open and close the dust collector.
- the first cyclone includes a filter unit, which is a kind of cover having a plurality of through holes.
- the second cyclone communicates with the first cyclone through the filter unit.
- the air inside the first cyclone flows through the second cyclone after passing through the filter unit, and dust clogs the plurality of holes in the filter unit while the air passes through the plurality of holes in the filter unit.
- the more the plurality of holes are clogged the less the air flow is, and the separation performance is deteriorated.
- the user must periodically clean the filter unit.
- it is not easy to clean the filter part because the user has to clean the filter part after the user approaches the filter part after opening the dust collector by basically rotating the base, which is the lower cover.
- the dust separated from the first cyclone and the second cyclone falls downward and accumulates on the upper side of the base.
- the separated dust is stored in the dust collector in a low density state. That is, since the dust separated by the first cyclone occupies a too large volume compared to its weight, it is inconvenient to frequently empty the dust in the dust bin to maintain the dust collection performance even though there is still enough free space inside the dust collector. there is a ham
- a compression member capable of compressing the dust accumulated in the dust collecting unit is installed inside the dust collecting unit, and technologies are disclosed that can compress the dust by lowering the compressing member from the outside without opening the base.
- the compression member is installed to surround the filter unit, and as it descends toward the base, it pushes the dust attached to the filter unit downward and at the same time compresses the dust accumulated in the dust collecting unit.
- the conventional compression member reduces friction with the outer surface of the filter unit and makes a part of the end of an elastic material for smoother cleaning.
- a manufacturing process of attaching an elastic material to the compression member or a lifting process of the compression member There is also the problem that the distal end is curled up or turned over.
- the present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art as described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning unit for securing free space by compressing the dust accumulated inside the dust bin of the vacuum cleaner. It is to be able to sweep away even thin foreign substances.
- Another object of the present invention is to ensure that, after the cleaning unit sweeps out a thin foreign material toward the floor of the dust collection space, the foreign matter does not rise along the cleaning unit and remains on the floor of the dust collection space in the process of returning the cleaning unit to its original position.
- Another object of the present invention is to prevent the cleaning ring from being rolled up in the process of attaching the cleaning ring or lifting and lowering the cleaning unit by putting a cleaning ring of an elastic material at the end of the cleaning unit.
- the present invention provides a dust collecting space between a housing provided with an inlet through which air is introduced, and an inner space of the housing and provided with an inner surface of the housing. It may include a filtering unit.
- a cleaning unit is installed to surround the filtering unit, and the cleaning unit may be moved up and down in the dust collecting space in conjunction with the operation unit.
- the cleaning unit may have a brush protrusion in the direction of the surface of the filtering unit. These brush projections can sweep down thin foreign substances such as hair attached to the outer surface of the filtering unit during the lifting process of the cleaning unit.
- the brush protrusion may protrude from the inner surface of the cleaning unit toward the surface of the filtering unit, and a plurality of brush protrusions may be provided around the inner surface of the cleaning unit. Therefore, the brush protrusion acts like a kind of comb, and it is possible to effectively remove thin and long foreign substances.
- the cleaning unit includes a cleaning body that surrounds the filtering unit, is connected to the operation unit and interlocks with the operation unit.
- a guide flow path for guiding the air sucked into the suction port may be formed in the cleaning body.
- a cleaning ring may extend from a lower portion of the cleaning body toward the bottom of the dust collection space. The cleaning ring may be provided adjacent to the surface of the filtering unit to clean the surface of the filtering unit in the lifting process of the cleaning unit. And the brush protrusion may protrude from the surface of the cleaning ring.
- a support rib protrudes toward the bottom of the dust collection space at a lower portion of the cleaning body, and the support rib may support one side of the cleaning ring from which the brush protrusion protrudes. Accordingly, the support rib may support the brush protrusion even when the brush protrusion functions to remove foreign substances.
- a plurality of the support ribs surround the cleaning body and protrude toward the surface of the filtering unit, and the support rib may have a gap maintaining rib protruding in a direction opposite to the guide inclined surface of the cleaning ring.
- at least one brush protrusion may be disposed between two adjacent space maintaining ribs. Accordingly, the brush protrusion and the gap maintaining rib maintain a constant distance between the cleaning unit and the filtering unit, so that the cleaning unit is eccentric and interferes with the filtering unit in the lifting process of the cleaning unit can be prevented.
- the brush protrusion may be provided on a cleaning ring made of a flexible material constituting the filtering unit. Accordingly, friction between the brush projection and the filtering unit can be reduced.
- the brush protrusion may extend in the elevating direction of the cleaning unit, or the brush protrusion may extend in a direction inclined with respect to the elevating direction of the cleaning unit.
- a lower inclined surface may be provided at a lower end of the brush protrusion toward the lower portion of the dust collecting space, in which the protrusion of the brush protrusion gradually decreases.
- An upper inclined surface may be provided at an upper end of the brush protrusion toward the upper portion of the dust collecting space, in which the degree of protrusion of the brush protrusion gradually decreases. The upper inclined surface and the lower inclined surface may reduce friction between the brush projection and the filtering unit.
- the lower end of the brush protrusion toward the lower portion of the dust collecting space may be formed to be recessed toward the upper portion of the brush protrusion. Accordingly, foreign substances can be more easily caught and moved under the brush protrusion.
- the surface of the filtering unit may be provided with a locking rib protruding toward the inner surface of the cleaning unit facing the surface of the filtering unit.
- the locking rib may hang the foreign material dragged down by the brush protrusion so that the foreign material does not rise again along the cleaning unit.
- the cleaning unit moves between the raised first position and the lowered second position, and the engaging rib is located at the lower portion of the filtering unit so as to have a section at least partially overlapping with the cleaning unit in the second position.
- the engaging rib is located at the lower portion of the filtering unit so as to have a section at least partially overlapping with the cleaning unit in the second position.
- a plurality of the engaging ribs are provided around the surface of the filtering unit, and at least one brush protrusion may pass between adjacent engaging ribs.
- the lower end of the brush protrusion may be positioned lower so as to be relatively closer to the floor of the dust collecting space than the lower end of the engaging rib. Accordingly, foreign substances may be stably caught and collected at the lower end of the engaging rib.
- an upper end of the engaging rib may have a guide inclined surface in which the protruding height of the engaging rib is gradually lowered, and a lower end of the engaging rib may be provided with an engaging step surface having a steeper inclination angle than the guide inclined surface.
- the cleaner according to the present invention has the following effects.
- the dust collected by the cleaning unit can be compressed while moving (descending) from the inside while the cleaning unit is wrapped around the filtering unit without opening the dust container.
- the brush protrusion protruding from the cleaning unit is the Even thin foreign matter such as hair attached to the surface can be wiped down together. That is, even if a thin and long foreign material such as hair is wound on the outer surface of the filtering unit, the foreign material cannot escape through the gap between the cleaning unit and the filtering unit and moves toward the floor of the dust collection space by the cleaning unit. Accordingly, there is no need for the user to directly remove the wound foreign material by opening the dust container, thereby improving the usability.
- the cleaning unit of the present invention removes foreign substances attached to the surface of the filtering unit while moving up and down while surrounding the filtering unit.
- the brush protrusion protruding from the cleaning unit reduces the contact area between the cleaning unit and the filtering unit. Accordingly, frictional force generated in the process of lifting the cleaning unit is reduced, so that the cleaning unit can be moved up and down smoothly.
- the plurality of brush protrusions and support ribs protruding around the cleaning unit maintain a constant distance between the cleaning unit and the filtering unit, and accordingly, the cleaning unit is eccentric and interferes with the filtering unit during the lifting process of the cleaning unit. This is prevented. Accordingly, smooth lifting of the cleaning unit is possible, and dust compression and cleaning of the filtering unit using the cleaning unit can be performed more stably.
- a locking rib protrudes from the outer surface of the filtering unit, and the brush protrusion hangs the foreign material dragged down, so that the foreign material does not rise again along the cleaning unit. Accordingly, thin foreign substances such as hair can be maintained in a state of being collected at the bottom of the dust collecting space, and the dust can be effectively collected toward the bottom of the dust collecting space close to the dust bin without the user opening the dust bin.
- the upper end of the locking rib has a guide inclined surface whose protruding height is gradually lowered so that foreign substances such as hair can naturally ride over it, but at the lower end of the locking rib there is a locking step surface with a steep slope, so that foreign substances can ride in the opposite direction It is difficult.
- a shape of the locking rib it is possible to more reliably hold foreign substances in the lower part of the dust collecting space, and there is an effect that the dust compression rate using the cleaning unit is improved.
- the cleaning unit of the present invention is provided with a cleaning ring of an elastic material, a brush projection is made on the cleaning ring. And the rear surface of the cleaning ring is supported by the support rib, which can prevent the cleaning ring from being deformed due to high temperature in the process of double injection of the cleaning ring, or from rolling up the cleaning ring during the lifting process of the cleaning unit, thus cleaning It has the effect of improving the quality and reliability of the unit.

Even if the foreign material is not caught on the lower inclined surface 139c, the foreign material may move along with the brush surface 139b.
- the brush protrusion 139 may have the same width and height or may have a greater width.
- FIG. 10 ( b ) Another embodiment of the brush protrusion 139 is shown in FIG. 10 ( b ), as can be seen, at least a portion of the lower inclined surface 139c is inside, that is, the guide surface 135 that is inside of the cleaning ring 130 . It may be a shape recessed in the direction. In this case, foreign substances may be more easily caught on the lower inclined surface 139c.
- FIG. 11 shows different embodiments of the brush projection 139
- FIG. 11 is a view of the cleaning ring 130 from the front.
- the brush protrusion 139 extends vertically on the surface of the cleaning ring 130 . That is, the brush protrusion 139 is formed in the same direction as the lifting direction of the cleaning unit 110 .
- the brush protrusion 139 may extend in a direction inclined with respect to the elevating direction of the cleaning unit 110 .
- the overall left and right width (A) of the brush protrusion 139 is larger than that of the previous embodiment, the probability that foreign substances are caught on the brush protrusion 139 in the elevating process of the cleaning unit 110 may be higher. .
- the brush protrusion 139 may have a ⁇ shape or the opposite ⁇ shape.
- the brush protrusion 139 can more reliably hang foreign substances through this shape so that the foreign substances move together with the brush protrusion 139 .
- These brush protrusions 139 can serve to drag and drop when a thin and long foreign material such as hair H winds the surface of the filtering unit 30, and after pulling the foreign material downward, Inducing foreign matter to be caught in the engaging rib (39). As shown in FIG. 13, since the brush protrusions 139 and the locking ribs 39 are alternately arranged alternately when they are at the same height, this can be done naturally.
- the lower end A2 of the brush protrusion 139 is the locking rib 39 . It is positioned lower so as to be relatively closer to the bottom of the dust collecting space S1 than the lower end A1 of the. Accordingly, foreign substances drawn along the lower inclined surface 139c of the brush protrusion 139 may be caught on the engaging step surface 39c of the engaging rib 39 and collected at the lower side of the filtering unit 30 .
- the engaging step surface 39c forms a step with the surface of the filtering unit 30 as described above, foreign substances may be more easily caught.
- the cleaning unit 110 rises back to the first position, which is the original position, it does not follow the cleaning unit 110 and gathers under the engaging step surface 39c.
- connection bracket 149 connected to the operation unit 150 , the length of the cleaning unit 110 protruding toward the suction port 8 from the connection bracket 149 as a starting point Because the length is long, a large load is inevitably concentrated on the connection bracket 149 . Therefore, the connection part, that is, the connection plate 128 (refer to FIG. 9) can be easily twisted, and when the connection plate 128 is twisted, the cleaning unit 110 is eccentric as a whole, so that smooth lifting cannot be achieved.
- 5 shows the protruding state of the assembly portion 145 of the reinforcing plate 140 for assembling in the cleaning unit 110 .
- connection bracket 149 on one side of the reinforcing plate 140 .
- the connection bracket 149 protrudes from the lower side of the reinforcing plate 140 , and protrudes toward the inner surface 20 of the housing 1 .
- the connection bracket 149 is connected to the lower end of the movable rail 175 of the operation unit 150 so that the movable rail 175 and the reinforcing plate 140 are raised and lowered together.
- the reinforcing plate 140 may be made of various materials, for example, it may be made of a synthetic resin material or made of a metal material. In this embodiment, the reinforcing plate 140 is made of an aluminum material, and the cleaning body 120 is made of a synthetic resin material.
- the cleaning unit 110 cleans while sweeping the surface of the filtering unit 30 . That is, to remove the foreign substances attached to the surface of the filtering unit 30, for example, to shake off the dust attached to the mesh network (35). In addition, it is possible to scrape off thin foreign substances such as hair (H) wound around the mesh network (35). This is due to the above-described brush protrusions 139, and the plurality of brush protrusions 139 can sweep away foreign substances like a comb, so that even tangled or wound foreign substances can descend together with the brush protrusions 139. .
- FIG. 13 (a) shows a state in which the cleaning unit 110 is completely lowered, and a foreign material is caught on the lower inclined surface 139c of the brush protrusion 139 .
- the lower end A2 of the brush protrusion 139 is further lower than the lower end A1 of the engaging rib 39. It moves, and the foreign material can be reliably caught on the lower end (A1) of the locking rib (39).
- the horizontal axis of the graph indicates the number of strands of hair (H), which is a foreign substance, and the vertical axis indicates the number of round trips of the cleaning unit 110 .
- the average value of the number of reciprocations of the cleaning unit 110 for completely removing the hair (H) downward of the filtering unit 30 is shown as a graph.
- the cleaning unit (110) even if a thin and long foreign material such as hair H is wound on the outer surface of the filtering unit 30 , the foreign material does not escape through the gap between the cleaning unit 110 and the filtering unit 30 . It can be reliably removed toward the bottom of the dust collecting space (S1) by the cleaning unit (110).
