本申请涉及电池领域,尤其涉及一种二次电池、电池模块以及使用二次电池作为电源的装置。
二次电池如锂离子电池由于能量密度高,环境友好等优点被广泛应用于移动电话、笔记本电脑等电子装置。近年来,为了应对环境问题,汽油价格问题,以及能量存储问题,锂离子电池的应用已经快速扩展到油电混动车辆、轮船以及能量存储系统等。
二次电池包括电极组件、顶盖组件和集流构件,电极组件包括主体和从主体延伸出的极耳,顶盖组件还包括顶盖板、绝缘隔板和电极端子,集流构件连接极耳和电极端子。而绝缘隔板连接于顶盖板和集流构件之间,从而减小集流构件与顶盖板接触且引发短路的隐患。
然而,设置绝缘隔板会占用二次电池内部的空间,减小二次电池的能量密度。
发明内容
鉴于背景技术中存在的问题,本申请的目的在于提供一种二次电池、电池模块以及使用二次电池作为电源的装置,其能提高能量密度,降低短路风险。
为了实现上述目的,本申请提供了一种二次电池,其包括电极组件、顶盖组件和集流构件。电极组件包括主体和从主体延伸出的极耳。顶盖组件包括顶盖板、电极端子和绝缘隔板,电极端子设置于顶盖板,绝缘隔板连接于顶盖板的靠近主体的一侧。集流构件至少部分位于绝缘隔板与主体之间,集流构件包括连接于极耳的极耳连接部。绝缘隔板具有第一凹部,第一凹部相对于绝缘隔板的下表面朝远离主体的方向凹陷,极耳连接部至少部分收容于第一凹部。
在根据一些实施例的二次电池中,集流构件还包括端子连接部,端子连接部连接于电极端子,端子连接部和极耳连接部均为平板结构,且极耳连接部相比端子连接部更远离主体。

本申请的有益效果如下。本申请通过设置第一凹部,减小绝缘隔板的体积,降低绝缘隔板在二次电池内占用的空间,提高二次电池的能量密度。极耳连接部至少部分收容于第一凹部,这样能够增大极耳连接部和主体的距离,为极耳提供更多的空间,降低极耳插入主体的风险,避免短路,提高安全性能。

本申请提供了一种使用二次电池作为电源的装置,所述装置为电动车辆、混合动力电动车辆或轮船等。参照图1,在一些实施例中,所述装置为电动车辆,电动车辆为纯电动汽车,也可以混合动力汽车或增程式汽车。电动车辆包括底盘、车身和电力驱动系统,电力驱动系统包括驱动模块和电源模块,驱动模块包括电机、机械传动装置以及车轮等结构,电源模块包括多个二次电池。电源模块通过电机和机械传动装置驱动车轮转动,从而带动电动车辆移动。二次电池为铅酸电池、镍镉电池、镍氢电池或锂离子电池。在一些可选的实施例中,二次电池为锂离子电池。
本申请还提供了一种电池模块,参照图2,电池模块包括多个二次电池1000。在一些实施例中,多个二次电池1000依次排列。电池模块还包括两个端板和两个侧板,两个端板分别位于多个二次电池1000沿排列方向的两端,两个侧板分别位于多个二次电池1000的两侧,两个端板和两个侧板连接在一起并组成近似矩形的框架结构,框架结构支撑和固定多个二次电池1000。
本申请还提供了一种二次电池。参照图3和图4,根据一些实施例的二次电池包括电极组件1、壳体2、顶盖组件3和集流构件4。
电极组件1为二次电池实现充放电功能的核心构件。电极组件1包 括正极极片13、负极极片14以及将正极极片13和负极极片14隔开的隔膜15。在一些实施例中,参照图5,正极极片13、隔膜15和负极极片14依次层叠并卷绕为一体。在另一些实施例中,正极极片13和负极极片14均为片状结构并沿其厚度方向交替层叠。
正极极片13包括正极集流体和涂覆于正极集流体表面的正极活性物质层,正极集流体具有正极涂覆区域和正极空白区域,正极涂覆区域被正极活性物质层覆盖,正极空白区域未被正极活性物质层覆盖。负极极片14包括负极集流体和涂覆于负极集流体表面的负极活性物质层,负极集流体具有负极涂覆区域和负极空白区域,负极涂覆区域被负极活性物质层覆盖,负极空白区域未被负极活性物质层覆盖。
在一些实施例中,正极集流体为铝箔,正极活性物质层包括锰酸锂、磷酸铁锂或三元材料。负极集流体为铜箔,负极活性物质层包括石墨或硅。
参照图4,从电极组件1的外形来看,电极组件1包括主体11和从主体11延伸出的极耳12。主体11包括正极涂覆区域、正极活性物质层、负极涂覆区域、负极活性物质层和隔膜15。极耳12为两个,分别为正极极耳和负极极耳;正极极耳包括多个层叠在一起的正极空白区域,负极极耳包括多个层叠在一起的负极空白区域。
在一些实施例中,参照图4,壳体2具有六面体形状。在另外的一些实施例中,壳体2具有圆柱形或其他形状。壳体2内部形成空腔,以容纳电极组件1和电解液。壳体2在一端形成开口,而电极组件1可经由开口放置到壳体2的内腔。在一些实施例中,壳体2由铝或铝合金等导电金属的材料制成。
顶盖组件3包括顶盖板31和设置于顶盖板31的电极端子32,顶盖板31的尺寸与壳体2的开口的尺寸相适配。在一些实施例中,顶盖板31为导电金属板。顶盖板31通过焊接连接到壳体2并覆盖壳体2的开口。顶盖板31设置有贯通的电极引出孔,电极引出孔用于将位于壳体2内部的电极组件1的电能引出到顶盖板31的外部。在一些实施例中,电极端子32穿过顶盖板31的电极引出孔并露出到二次电池的外部。
电极端子32为两个,分别为正极端子和负极端子,正极端子电连接于正极极耳,负极端子电连接于负极极耳。
在一些实施例中,顶盖板31具有贯通的排气孔311。顶盖组件3还包括防爆片34,防爆片34设置于顶盖板31并密封排气孔311。防爆片34具有薄弱区域,当电极组件1由于过度充电、短路等原因而产生大量气体时,二次电池内部的气压增大并在薄弱区域冲破防爆片34,气体经由排气孔311排出到二次电池的外部,从而避免二次电池爆炸。
根据一些实施例的二次电池还包括集流构件4,集流构件4为两个;一个集流构件4连接正极端子和正极极耳,另一个集流构件4连接负极端子和负极极耳。
为避免顶盖板31将正负极耳导通,降低短路风险,根据一些实施例的顶盖组件3还包括绝缘隔板33,绝缘隔板33设置于顶盖板31的靠近主体11的一侧并连接于顶盖板31。
集流构件4至少部分位于绝缘隔板33与主体11之间。绝缘隔板33能够将集流构件4和顶盖板31隔开,从而避免集流构件4和顶盖板31直接接触,降低短路风险。
在一些实施例中,参照图8、图14至图16,集流构件4包括端子连接部41和极耳连接部42,端子连接部41连接于电极端子32,极耳连接部42连接于极耳12。极耳连接部42通过焊接等方式连接到极耳12,端子连接部41通过焊接等方式连接到电极端子32。
参照图7至图12,绝缘隔板33具有第一凹部332,第一凹部332相对于绝缘隔板33的下表面331朝远离主体11的方向凹陷。绝缘隔板33的下表面331面向主体11且大体为平面。极耳连接部42至少部分收容于第一凹部332。
在本申请中,通过设置第一凹部332,可以减小绝缘隔板33的体积,降低绝缘隔板33在二次电池内占用的空间,提高二次电池的能量密度。极耳连接部42至少部分收容于第一凹部332,这样能够增大极耳连接部42和主体11的距离,为极耳12提供更多的空间,降低极耳12插入主体11的风险,避免短路,提高安全性能。
参照图10,根据一些实施例的极耳12包括第一部分121和第二部分122,第一部分121从主体11延伸,第二部分122连接于第一部分121的远离主体11的一端并相对于第一部分121弯折,且第二部分122焊接于极耳连接部42。第二部分122的远离第一部分121的端部可能向下弯曲,如果极耳连接部42与主体11之间的距离过小,那么第二部分122的端部可能会插入主体11,从而引发短路风险。而本申请通过设置第一凹部332,可以增大极耳连接部42与主体11之间的距离,也就能够增大第二部分122和主体11的间距,从而降低第二部分122插入主体11的风险。
在一些实施例中,参照图14至图16,端子连接部41和极耳连接部42均为平板结构。参照图8,电极端子32位于端子连接部41的远离主体11的一侧,且无需与极耳12连接,因此,相比于极耳连接部42,端子连接部41与主体11之间可具有较小的距离;换句话说,极耳连接部42相比端子连接部41更远离主体11。
在一些实施例中,参照图10,极耳12连接于极耳连接部42的靠近主体11的一侧,以简化极耳12和极耳连接部42的焊接工艺和端子连接部41和电极端子32的焊接工艺。另外,如果极耳12连接于极耳连接部42的远离主体11的一侧,那么为了收容极耳连接部42,那么第一凹部332需要具有较大的深度,这会降低绝缘隔板33的绝缘性能。
在一些实施例中,参照图10,极耳连接部42与第一凹部332的底面之间具有间隙。通过设置间隙,可以简化集流构件4和顶盖组件3的装配。如果极耳连接部42与第一凹部332的底面贴合,那么在装配集流构件4和顶盖组件3时,集流构件4需要同时贴合于电极端子32的底面和第一凹部332的底面;由于工艺误差的存在,难以保证集流构件4与两个底面完全贴合。因此,本申请在极耳连接部42与第一凹部332的底面之间预留间隙,只需保证集流构件4与电极端子32的底面贴合即可。另外,当二次电池震动时,极耳连接部42可以通过弹性变形释放极耳12和集流构件4之间的应力,降低极耳12撕裂的风险。
在一些实施例中,参照图8、图14至图16,集流构件4还包括倾斜部43,倾斜部43连接于端子连接部41和极耳连接部42之间,且倾斜 部43相对于端子连接部41朝远离主体11的方向倾斜。通过设置倾斜部43,增大极耳连接部42和主体11的间距。
在一些实施例中,端子连接部41平行于极耳连接部42。端子连接部41和极耳连接部42均大体垂直于二次电池的高度方向Z。
在一些实施例中,参照图15,端子连接部41包括固定区411和熔断区412,固定区411连接于电极端子32,熔断区412连接于固定区411和倾斜部43之间。熔断区412设置为:当二次电池短路时,熔断区412熔断,以切断电路。与集流构件4的其它部分相比,熔断区412的过流面积较小;当二次电池短路时,集流构件4上的电路急剧增大,大电流通过熔断区412时产热并使熔断区断开,从而切断电路,降低二次电池起火、爆炸等安全风险。
在一些实施例中,参照图15,端子连接部41设有通孔,熔断区412包括两个子熔断区,两个子熔断区分别位于通孔两侧。在另一些实施例中,端子连接部41设有凹槽,熔断区412位于凹槽沿端子连接部41的厚度方向的一侧。在又一些实施例中,端子连接部41设有两个缺口,两个缺口分别位于熔断区412的两侧。通过设置通孔、凹槽或缺口,本申请能够减小熔断区412的过流面积,从而实现熔断区412的安全保护功能。
在一些实施例中,参照图16,集流构件4还包括绝缘块44,包覆在熔断区412的外侧。当熔断区412熔断时,集流构件4分离为两部分,而绝缘块44能够将分离的两部分连接,避免分离的两部分相对移动,防止集流构件4的两部分再次搭接。在一些实施例中,绝缘块44的一部分插入端子连接部41的通孔中,并将固定区411和倾斜部43隔开。
在一些实施例中,绝缘块44的一部分收容于第一凹部332。在垂直于端子连接部41的厚度方向的平面内,绝缘块44的投影位于第一凹部332的周壁的投影内。绝缘块44的一部分收容于第一凹部332,这样可以充分利用第一凹部332,节省空间,提高二次电池的能量密度。
在一些实施例中,绝缘块44远离主体11的表面相比极耳连接部42远离主体11的表面更靠近主体11。如果绝缘块44远离主体11的表面相比极耳连接部42远离主体11的表面更远离主体11,为了能够收容绝缘 块44,第一凹部332的深度需要增大,从而降低绝缘隔板33的绝缘性能。
在一些实施例中,参照图11和图12,绝缘隔板33还具有相对于下表面331凸出的第一凸部333,端子连接部41位于第一凸部333的靠近主体11的一侧,倾斜部43位于第一凸部333的沿二次电池的长度方向X的一侧。通过设置第一凸部333,可以增大端子连接部41和极耳连接部42在二次电池的高度方向Z上的高度差,降低极耳12搭接到端子连接部41的风险,避免熔断区412的安全保护功能失效。
在一些实施例中,参照图13,绝缘隔板33具有面向顶盖板31的上表面334和相对于上表面334凹陷的第二凹部335。在垂直于绝缘隔板33的厚度方向的平面内,防爆片34的投影位于第二凹部335的边界的投影内。参照图8,通过设置第二凹部335,可以减小防爆片34和绝缘隔板33的间距,避免绝缘隔板33在变形时挤压防爆片34,防止防爆片34被绝缘隔板33压破。
沿绝缘隔板33的厚度方向,第一凹部332和第二凹部335不重叠,这样可以在保证第一凹部332的深度和第二凹部335的深度的同时,避免第一凹部332和第二凹部335连通。
在一些实施例中,参照图8、图11至图13,绝缘隔板33还包括第二凸部336,沿靠近主体11的方向,第二凸部336相对于第一凸部333凸出。第二凸部336抵靠在主体11上,以减小主体11的震动,降低极耳12撕裂的风险。在可选的实施例中,第二凸部336为多个。
虽然已经参考优选实施例对本申请进行了描述,但在不脱离本申请的范围的情况下,可以对其进行各种改进并且可以用等效物替换其中的部件。尤其是,只要不存在结构冲突,各个实施例中所提到的各项技术特征均可以任意方式组合起来。本申请并不局限于文中公开的特定实施例,而是包括落入权利要求的范围内的所有技术方案。
Claims (10)
- 一种二次电池,包括:电极组件(1),所述电极组件(1)包括主体(11)和从所述主体(11)延伸出的极耳(12);顶盖组件(3),所述顶盖组件(3)包括顶盖板(31)、电极端子(32)和绝缘隔板(33),所述电极端子(32)设置于所述顶盖板(31),所述绝缘隔板(33)连接于所述顶盖板(31)的靠近所述主体(11)的一侧;集流构件(4),所述集流构件(4)至少部分位于所述绝缘隔板(33)与所述主体(11)之间,所述集流构件(4)包括连接于所述极耳(12)的极耳连接部(42);所述绝缘隔板(33)具有第一凹部(332),所述第一凹部(332)相对于所述绝缘隔板(33)的下表面(331)朝远离所述主体(11)的方向凹陷,所述极耳连接部(42)至少部分收容于所述第一凹部(332)。
- 根据权利要求1所述的二次电池,其中,所述集流构件(4)还包括端子连接部(41),所述端子连接部(41)连接于所述电极端子(32),所述端子连接部(41)和所述极耳连接部(42)均为平板结构,且所述极耳连接部(42)相比所述端子连接部(41)更远离所述主体(11)。
- 根据权利要求1或2所述的二次电池,其中,所述极耳(12)连接于所述极耳连接部(42)的靠近所述主体(11)的一侧。
- 根据权利要求1-3中任一项所述的二次电池,其中,所述极耳连接部(42)与所述第一凹部(332)的底面之间具有间隙。
- 根据权利要求2-4中任一项所述的二次电池,其中,所述集流构件(4)还包括倾斜部(43),所述倾斜部(43)连接于所述端子连接部(41)和所述极耳连接部(42)之间,且所述倾斜部(43)相对于所述端子连接部(41)朝远离所述主体(11)的方向倾斜。
- 根据权利要求2-5中任一项所述的二次电池,其中,所述端子连接部(41)平行于所述极耳连接部(42)。
- 根据权利要求5所述的二次电池,其中,所述端子连接部(41)包括固定区(411)和熔断区(412),所述固定区(411)连接于所述电极端子(32),所述熔断区(412)连接于所述固定区(411)和倾斜部(43)之间。
- 根据权利要求7所述的二次电池,其中,所述集流构件(4)还包括绝缘块(44),包覆在所述熔断区(412)的外侧;所述绝缘块(44)的一部分收容于第一凹部(332)内,所述绝缘块(44)远离所述主体(11)的表面相比所述极耳连接部(42)远离所述主体(11)的表面更靠近所述主体(11)。
- 一种电池模块,包括如权利要求1-8中任一项所述的二次电池,所述二次电池为多个。
- 一种使用二次电池作为电源的装置,包括权利要求1-8中任一项所述的二次电池。
