電解質及び蓄電デバイス
 本発明は、電解質及び蓄電デバイスに関する。
 例えば、リチウムイオン二次電池等の蓄電デバイスは高いエネルギー密度を有するパワーデバイスであるため、近年、ノート型パソコンや携帯電話等の端末の電源として汎用されている(例えば、特許文献1)。これらの蓄電デバイスのイオン伝導度を向上させるため、特許文献1では、酸化アルミニウムや酸化ケイ素等の無機粒子を含む電解質が用いられている。

 しかしながら、特許文献1に記載の電解質は、イオン伝導度が十分ではなく、改善の余地があった。このため、イオン伝導度を向上させる他の方法の開発が望まれていた。
 本発明は、上述の課題を解決するためになされたものであり、以下の形態として実現することが可能である。
(1)本発明の一形態によれば、電解質が提供される。この電解質は、(メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)、Al(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)から選択された1種または2種以上の官能基及びベタイン構造を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含むことを特徴とする。
 この形態の電解質によれば、イオン伝導度を向上させることができる。
(2)上述の電解質であって、前記官能基が、(メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)から選択された1種または2種以上であってもよい。
 この形態の電解質によれば、イオン伝導度をより向上させることができる。
(3)上述の電解質であって、前記ベタイン構造が、SO 、PO、及びCOOから選択された1種または2種以上と、4級アンモニウムカチオンと、を有してもよい。
 この形態の電解質によれば、イオン伝導度をより向上させることができる。
(4)上述の電解質であって、前記化合物の含有量が、前記無機粒子の含有量100質量部に対し、0.1質量部以上10質量部以下であってもよい。
 この形態の電解質によれば、イオン伝導度をより向上させることができる。
(5)上述の電解質であって、前記無機粒子のBET比表面積が1.0m/g以上であってもよい。
 この形態の電解質によれば、イオン伝導度をより向上させることができる。
(6)上述の電解質であって、前記無機複合粒子の含有量が、前記電解質100質量部に対し、1質量部以上50質量部以下であってもよい。
 この形態の電解質によれば、イオン伝導度をより向上させることができる。
 なお、本発明は、種々の形態で実現することが可能であり、例えば、電解質を備える蓄電デバイス等の態様で実現することができる。

 Yは(メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)、又はAl(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)を示す。ZはSO 、PO、又はCOOを示す。AとBは各々独立に炭素数1~6のアルキレン基を示す。AとBは各々独立に炭素数2~4のアルキレン基であることが好ましい。RとRは各々独立に炭素数1~6のアルキル基を示す。RとRは各々独立に炭素数2~4のアルキル基であることが好ましい。
 本実施形態のベタインとしては、特に限定されないが、例えば、N,N-dimethyl-(trihydroxysilyl)propyl-N-sulfopropyl-ammonium,inner salt(以下、「化合物A」とも呼ぶ)、[2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethyl(3-sulfopropyl)ammonium hydroxide, inner salt(以下、「化合物B」とも呼ぶ)、1-Propanaminium,N,N-dimethyl-N-(3-phosphonopropyl)-3-(trimethoxysilyl)-,inner salt(以下、「化合物C」とも呼ぶ)、1-Propanaminium,3-carboxy-N,N-dimethyl-N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]-,inner salt(以下、「化合物D」とも呼ぶ)、1-Propanaminium, N,N-dimethyl-N-(3-boronopropyl)-3-(trimethoxysilyl)-, inner salt等が挙げられる。
 上記ベタインのうち、イオン伝導度を向上させる観点から、N,N-dimethyl-(trihydroxysilyl)propyl-N-sulfopropyl-ammonium,inner salt(化合物A)、[2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethyl(3-sulfopropyl)ammonium hydroxide, inner salt(化合物B)、1-Propanaminium,N,N-dimethyl-N-(3-phosphonopropyl)-3-(trimethoxysilyl)-,inner salt(化合物C)、1-Propanaminium,3-carboxy-N,N-dimethyl-N-[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]-,inner salt(化合物D)から選択された1種または2種以上であることが好ましく、N,N-dimethyl-(trihydroxysilyl)propyl-N-sulfopropyl-ammonium,inner salt(化合物A)を含むことがより好ましい。本実施形態のベタインとしては、イオン伝導度を向上させる観点から、スルホ基とカルボキシ基との少なくとも一方と、4級アンモニウムカチオンと、を有することが好ましい。
 本実施形態のベタインが有する官能基としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、(メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)、Al(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)等が挙げられる。これらの官能基の中でも、イオン伝導度を向上させる観点から、(メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)から選択された1種または2種以上であることが好ましい。なお、(メタ)アクリロキシ基とは、メタクリロキシ基と、アクリロキシ基とを含む。
 本実施形態のベタインと複合化される無機粒子は、特に限定されないが、例えば、無機酸化物の粒子が挙げられる。無機酸化物は、特に限定されないが、例えば、Li、Mg、Al、Si、Ca、Ti、Zr、La、Na、K、Ba、Sr、V、Nb、B、Ge等を構成元素として含む無機酸化物が挙げられる。
 本実施形態のベタインと複合化される無機粒子としては、より具体的には、例えば、Al(アルミナ)、Li1+x+yTi2-xAl3-ySiyO12(0<x<2,0<y<3))(LATP)、LiLaZr12(LLZ)、La2/3-xLi3xTiO(LLT)、Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO(LAGP)、SiO、TiO、ZnO、AlOOH、ZrO、BaTiO、ゼオライト等が挙げられる。ゼオライトは特に限定されないが、例えば以下の構造のものが挙げられる。
(MI,MII1/2(AlSi2(m+n))・xH
式中において、nおよびmはn≧m>0を満たし、xはx≧0を満たしている。また、式中のMIは、Li、Na、K等の一価の金属イオンを示し、MIIは、Ca2+、Mg2+、Ba2+等の二価の金属イオンを示している。
 無機粒子のBET比表面積は、イオン伝導度を向上させる観点から、1.0m/g以上であることが好ましく、2.0m/g以上であることがより好ましく、3.0m/g以上であることがさらに好ましい。一方、無機粒子のBET比表面積は、800m/g以上であることが好ましく、400m/g以下であることがより好ましく、100m/g以下であることがさらに好ましい。本明細書において、BET比表面積は、JIS Z 8830:2013に準じて測定した値を示す。
 本実施形態のベタインと、複合化させる無機粒子との含有比率は特に限定されないが、例えば、ベタインの含有量が、無機粒子の含有量100質量部に対して、0.1質量部以上が好ましく、0.3質量部以上がより好ましく、0.5質量部以上がさらに好ましく、10質量部以下が好ましく、8質量部以下がより好ましく、7質量部以下がさらに好ましい。
 本実施形態の無機複合粒子の含有量は、特に限定されないが、例えば、電解質100質量部に対し、1質量部以上であることが好ましく、2質量部以上であることがより好ましく、5質量部以上であることがさらに好ましく、50質量部以下であることが好ましく、30質量部以下であることがより好ましく、20質量部以下であることがさらに好ましい。
 電解質は、ポリマーを含んでもよい。ポリマーは、特に限定されないが、例えば、本開示に係る電解質の組成または用途(電気化学デバイス)の種類等に応じて、好適な化合物を選択することができる。ポリマーとしては、例えば、アクリレート系化合物やオキセタン系化合物等が挙げられる。
 アクリレート系化合物としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、4官能ポリエーテルアクリレート、2官能ポリエーテルアクリレート、その他のAO付加アクリレート、ポリエチレングリコールジアクリレート等が挙げられる。
 また、オキセタン系化合物としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、メチルメタクリレート-オキセタニルメタクリレート共重合体等が挙げられる。これらポリマーは1種類のみ用いてもよく、2種類以上を適宜組み合わせてもよい。
 上記以外のポリマーとしては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ポリウレタン、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、シリコーン(ポリシロキサン)、スチレン・ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、ポリアクリル酸等が挙げられる。これらポリマーは1種類のみ用いてもよく、2種類以上を適宜組み合わせてもよい。
 本実施形態の電解質として、例えば、ビス(フルオロスルホニル)イミドアニオン(FSIアニオン)をアニオン成分として含むイオン液体を用いてもよい。ここで、イオン液体とは、常温(25℃)で液体であり、揮発性を有さず、分解温度が比較的高いという特徴を有する。電解質を構成する電解液にイオン液体を用いることにより、一般的な可燃性の有機溶媒(例えば、環状カーボネートや、鎖状カーボネート等)を用いた場合と比較して、電解質の耐熱性や安全性に優れる。また、このようにすることにより、高率の充放電時においても高い性能を持ち、高エネルギー密度、高電圧の電池が得られる。FSIアニオンの調製方法としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、フルオロスルホン酸と尿素との反応させる方法が挙げられる。なお、不純物の確認は、プラズマ発光分析装置(ICP)を用いて分析することができる。
 また、イオン液体に含まれるアニオン成分は、FSIアニオン以外のアニオンを含んでいてもよい。FSIアニオン以外のアニオンとしては、例えば、BF 、PF 、SbF 、NO 、CFSO 、(CFSO(以下、「TFSI」とも呼ぶ)、(CSO、(CFSO、CFCO 、CCO 、CHCO 、(CN)等が挙げられる。また、FSIアニオン以外のアニオンとして、上述の2種以上を含んでもよい。
 イオン液体において、上述のFSIアニオンと組み合わされるカチオンは、特に制限はないが、融点が50℃以下のイオン液体を形成するカチオンを用いることが好ましい。このようにすることにより、非水電解液の粘度上昇を抑制できるとともに、放電容量の低下を抑制できる。なお、非水電解液とは、リチウムイオンを伝達するための溶媒に、電解質としてリチウム塩を溶解させたものを示す。
 上述のカチオンとしては、例えば、N、P、S、O、C、Si等の元素を含む化合物であって、鎖状または5員環、6員環などの環状構造を骨格とする化合物が用いられる。
 5員環、6員環などの環状構造としては、例えば、フラン環、チオフェン環、ピロール環、ピリジン環、オキサゾール環、イソオキサゾール環、チアゾール環、イソチアゾール環、フラザン環、イミダゾール環、ピラゾール環、ピラジン環、ピリミジン環、ピリダジン環、ピロリジン環、ピペリジン環、ベンゾフラン環、イソベンゾフラン環、インドール環、イソインドール環、インドリジン環、カルバゾール環等の複素環構造が挙げられる。
 これらのカチオンの中でも、特に窒素元素を含む鎖状または環状の化合物が工業的に安価であるとともに、化学的、電気化学的に安定である点で好ましい。
 窒素元素を含むカチオンとしては、例えば、トリエチルアンモニウムなどのアルキルアンモニウム、1-エチル-3-メチルイミダゾリウム、1-ブチル-3-メチルイミダゾリウム、1-メチル-1-プロピル-ピロリジニウム、メチルプロピルピペリジニウム等が挙げられる。
 上述の非水電解液の支持電解質として上述のイオン液体に溶解されるリチウム塩としては、一般に、非水電解液用電解質として使用されているリチウム塩であれば、特に限定されることなく使用することができる。そのようなリチウム塩としては、例えば、LiPF,LiBF,LiClO,LiAsF,LiCFSO,LiC(CFSO,LiN(CFSO(LiTFSI),LiN(FSO(LiFSI),LiBC等が挙げられる。これらのリチウム塩は、2種以上を混合して使用してもよい。リチウム塩としては、LiFSI、LiTFSIが好ましい。
 このようなリチウム塩は、例えば、0.1mol/kg以上3.0mol/kg以下の濃度でイオン液体中に含まれていることが好ましく、0.3mol/kg以上2.0mol/kg以下の濃度でイオン液体中に含まれていることがより好ましく、0.5mol/kg以上1.5mol/kg以下の濃度でイオン液体中に含まれていることがさらに好ましい。
A2.蓄電デバイス
 他の実施形態として、上述の電解質を備える蓄電デバイスが提供される。本実施形態の蓄電デバイスは、さらに、正極と、負極とを備える。蓄電デバイスとしては、特に限定されず、例えば、リチウムイオン二次電池、電気二重層キャパシタ、リチウムイオンキャパシタ等が挙げられる。以下では、蓄電デバイスの一例として、リチウムイオン二次電池を用いて説明する。
 本実施形態の正極及び負極は、それぞれ、電極活物質と、導電剤と、集電体と、バインダーとから構成される。
 本実施形態の正極に使用する正極活物質としては、リチウムイオンの挿入、脱離が可能であるものであれば、特に制限されることはない。正極活物質としては、例えば、金属酸化物、リチウムと遷移金属との複合酸化物、金属カルコゲン化物、導電性高分子化合物等が挙げられる。金属酸化物としては、例えば、CuO、CuO、MnO、MoO、V、CrO、MoO、Fe、Ni、CoO等が挙げられる。金属カルコゲン化物としては、例えば、TiS、MoS、NbSe等が挙げられる。導電性高分子化合物としては、例えば、ポリアセン、ポリパラフェニレン、ポリピロール、ポリアニリン等が挙げられる。
 正極活物質としては、高電圧を得られやすいため、リチウムと遷移金属との複合酸化物が好ましい。リチウムと遷移金属との複合酸化物としては、例えば、LiCoO、LiMnO、LiMn、LiNiO、LiFePO、LiNiCo(1-x)、LiMnNiCo(a+b+c=1)等が挙げられる。また、リチウムと遷移金属との複合酸化物に、フッ素、ホウ素、アルミニウム、クロム、ジルコニウム、モリブデン、鉄等の元素を少量ドープしたものや、リチウム複合酸化物の粒子表面を、炭素、MgO、Al、SiO等で表面処理したものを、正極活物質として用いてもよい。また、正極活物質として、上述の2種以上を併用してもよい。正極活物質の量は、特に限定されないが、例えば、集電体の単位面積に対して、3mg/cm以上10mg/cm以下としてもよい。
 本実施形態の負極に使用する負極活物質としては、金属リチウム又はリチウムイオンの挿入、脱離が可能であるものであれば、特に制限されることはない。負極活物質としては、例えば、炭素材料、金属材料、リチウム遷移金属窒化物、結晶性金属酸化物、非晶質金属酸化物、ケイ素化合物、導電性ポリマー等が挙げられる。炭素材料としては、例えば、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、難黒鉛化炭素、易黒鉛化炭素等が挙げられる。金属材料としては、例えば、金属リチウムや合金、スズ化合物等が挙げられる。負極活物質の具体例としては、LiTi12、NiSi等が挙げられる。また、負極活物質として、上述の2種以上を併用してもよい。負極活物質の量は、特に限定されないが、例えば、集電体の単位面積に対して、1mg/cm以上5mg/cm以下としてもよい。
 正極及び負極に用いる本実施形態の導電剤としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、アセチレンブラックやケッチンブラック等のカーボンブラックが挙げられる。また、導電剤として、カーボンブラックの代わりに、天然黒鉛(鱗状黒鉛、鱗片状黒鉛、土状黒鉛など)、人造黒鉛、カーボンウイスカー、炭素繊維、金属(銅、ニッケル、アルミニウム、銀、金等)粉末、金属繊維、導電性セラミックス材料等の導電性材料を用いてもよい。また、導電材として、上述の2種以上を併用してもよい。導電材の添加量は、特に限定されないが、正極活物質量又は負極活物質量に対して、1質量%以上30質量%以下が好ましく、2質量%以上20質量%以下がより好ましい。
 本実施形態の正極に用いる集電体は、特に限定されないが、例えば、アルミニウム、チタン、ステンレス鋼、ニッケル、焼成炭素、導電性高分子、導電性ガラス等が挙げられる。また、接着性、導電性、及び耐酸化性の向上を目的として、アルミニウムや銅等の表面を、カーボン、ニッケル、チタンや銀等で処理した物を、正極用集電体に用いてもよい。
 本実施形態の負極に用いる集電体は、特に限定されないが、例えば、銅、ステンレス鋼、ニッケル、アルミニウム、チタン、焼成炭素、導電性高分子、導電性ガラス、Al-Cd合金等が挙げられる。また、接着性、導電性、及び耐酸化性の向上を目的として、銅等の表面を、カーボン、ニッケル、チタンや銀等で処理した物を、負極用集電体に用いてもよい。
 正極又は負極に用いる集電体は、表面を酸化処理してもよい。また、集電体の形状については、フォイル状にしてもよく、フィルム状、シート状、ネット状にしてもよい。また、集電体として、パンチ又はエキスパンドされた物を用いてもよく、ラス体、多孔質体、発泡体等の成形体を用いてもよい。集電体の厚みは、特に限定されないが、例えば、1μm以上100μm以下としてもよい。
 本実施形態のバインダーとしては、特に限定されないが、例えば、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)を用いることができる。また、バインダーとしては、PVDFの代わりに、例えば、PVDF共重合体樹脂、フッ素系樹脂、スチレン-ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、エチレン-プロピレンゴム(EPDM)、スチレン-アクリロニトリル共重合体等を用いてもよい。PVDF共重合体樹脂としては、例えば、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)、パーフルオロメチルビニルエーテル(PFMV)、又はテトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)と、PVDFとの共重合体樹脂を用いてもよい。フッ素系樹脂としては、例えば、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、フッ素ゴム等を用いてもよい。その他のバインダーとして、例えば、カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)等の多糖類、ポリイミド樹脂等の熱可塑性樹脂を用いてもよい。また、バインダーとして、上述の2種以上を併用してもよい。バインダーの添加量は、特に限定されないが、正極活物質量又は負極活物質量に対して、1質量%以上30質量%以下が好ましく、2質量%以上20質量%以下がより好ましい。
 本実施形態の電極の製造方法は、特に限定されない。電極の製造方法としては、例えば、電極活物質、導電材、バインダー等を分散媒に混合することによりスラリー状の電極材料を調製した後、集電体に電極材料を塗布し、その後、分散媒を揮発させる方法が挙げられる。
 上述の電極材料をスラリー状にするために、粘度調整剤を用いてもよい。粘度調整剤としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、水溶性高分子を用いることができる。粘度調整剤としては、例えば、カルボキシメチルセルロース、メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルメチルセルロース等のセルロース類;ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸ソーダ等のポリカルボン酸系化合物;ポリビニルピロリドン等のビニルピロリドン構造を有する化合物;ポリアクリルアミド、ポリエチレンオキシド、ポリビニルアルコール、アルギン酸ソーダ、キサンタンガム、カラギーナン、グアーガム、カンテン、デンプン等が挙げられる。また、粘度調整剤として、上述の2種以上を併用してもよい。粘度調整剤としては、カルボキシメチルセルロースが好ましい。
 本実施形態のリチウムイオン二次電池は、さらに、絶縁層を備えていてもよい。絶縁層としては、例えば、無機固体電解質を正極又は負極上に塗布することにより形成することができる。無機固体電解質としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、Li1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO(LAGP)、La2/3-xLi3xTiO(LLT)、LICGC(登録商標)、Li1+x+yTi2-xAl3-ySiyO12(0<x<2,0<y<3))(LATP)等が挙げられる。
 セパレータは、正極と負極との間に設けられ、正極と負極とを隔離する部材である。本実施形態のセパレータとしては、ガラス繊維を用いる。本実施形態のガラス繊維の空隙率は70%以上としてもよい。
 本実施形態のリチウムイオン二次電池は、円筒型、コイン型、角型、その他任意の形状に形成することができ、電池の基本構成は形状によらず同じであり、目的に応じて設計変更して実施することができる。例えば、円筒型では、負極集電体に負極活物質を塗布してなる負極と、正極集電体に正極活物質を塗布してなる正極とを、セバレータを介して捲回した捲回体を電池缶に収納し、非水電解液を注入し上下に絶縁板を載置した状態で密封して得られる。また、コイン型リチウムイオン二次電池に適用する場合では、円盤状負極、セパレータ、円盤状正極、およびステンレスの板が積層された状態でコイン型電池缶に収納され、非水電解液が注入され、密封される。
B.実験
 以下、実施例により本発明をさらに具体的に説明するが、本発明は以下の実施例に限定されない。なお、例中、特に限定のない限り、「%」は「質量%」を意味し、「比」は「質量比」を意味する。
B1.実験1
<実施例1-1>
(電解質溶液の調製)
 以下の作業は露点-50℃以下の乾燥空気雰囲気下で実施した。ポリマー電解質でありかつマトリクス材である四官能ポリエーテルアクリレート(第一工業製薬社製、製品名:エレクセルTA-210)を20.1質量部、イオン液体系の電解液溶媒である1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(EMIm-FSI)(第一工業製薬社製、製品名:エレクセルIL-110)を46.9質量部、リチウム塩であるLithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(LiFSI)を12.5質量部、アゾ系の開始剤である2,2’-Azobis(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile)(和光純薬社製、製品名:V-65)を0.5質量部、および希釈溶剤である1,2-Dimethoxyethane(DME)を20質量部配合して混合することにより、電解質溶液を作製した。
(無機複合粒子の調製)
 N,N-dimethyl-(trihydroxysilyl)propyl-N-sulfopropyl-ammonium,inner salt(化合物A)を0.33質量%溶解させた水溶液に対し、アルミナ(粒径0.5μm、BET比表面積5.9m/g)を化合物A/アルミナ=1/100となるように混合した。その後、室温(25℃)で12時間攪拌することによりアルミナと化合物Aを複合化させた後、水溶液とアルミナを濾別することにより、無機複合粒子を得た。ここで、以下に、化合物Aの化学式(1)を示す。

(電解質の作製)
 電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子の質量=98/2となるように電解質溶液と無機複合粒子を混合した後、自公転攪拌装置を用いて無機複合粒子を溶液中に分散させることにより、電解質溶液を作製した。
 作製した電解質溶液を、アプリケーターを用いて厚み20μmのSUS箔上に塗布した後、25℃で2時間真空乾燥した。その後、80℃で12時間真空加熱することによってポリエーテルアクリレートを重合させることにより、以下の表1に示す組成比の電解質塗膜を得た。なお、表等において、本実施形態のベタインと、本実施形態のベタインの代替品と、を総称して「複合材」とも呼ぶ。また、リチウム塩濃度(mol/kg)は、イオン液体とポリマーとの含有量の和(kg)に対するリチウム塩の含有量(mol)を意味する。表における「ポリマー+電解液の比率」は、電解質全量に対するポリマーと電解液との和(%)を意味する。表における「無機粒子+複合材の比率」は、電解質全量に対する無機粒子と複合材との和(%)を意味する。
 得られた実施例1-1に係る電解質膜について、直径16φに打ち抜いた後に交流インピーダンス測定を実施することにより、後述する方法によりイオン伝導度を計算した。
<実施例1-2~実施例1-4>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を以下の表1に示す比率に変更した以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
<実施例1-5~実施例1-6>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、化合物Aの代わりに[2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethyl(3-sulfopropyl)ammonium hydroxide,inner salt(化合物B)を用いて作製した無機複合粒子を使用し、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を表1に示す比率に変更した以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。ここで、以下に、化合物Bの化学式(2)を示す。

 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、化合物Aの代わりに、1-Alkylaminium, N-(carboxymethyl)-N,N-dimethyl-, inner salt(化合物E)を用いて作製した無機複合粒子を使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を表1に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。ここで、以下に、化合物Eの化学式(5)を示す。なお、化合物Eは、ベタイン構造を備える一方で、ベタイン構造以外の官能基を有さない。

<比較例1-3>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、化合物Aの代わりに、Trimethyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium Chloride(化合物F)を用いて作製した無機複合粒子を使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を表1に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。ここで、以下に、化合物Fの化学式(6)を示す。なお、化合物Fは、ベタイン構造を備えない。

<イオン伝導度の測定方法>
 各実施例または各比較例で得られた電解質膜について、その厚さ(膜厚)および断面積を測定した。得られた電解質を2極セル内に入れた後、バイオロジック社(Bio-Logic SAS)製インピーダンスアナライザー(製品名:SP-150)を用いて、25℃、周波数1MHz~0.1Hzの条件で電気化学インピーダンス(EIS)を測定することにより、電解質のバルク抵抗値を得た。そして、得られた抵抗値と下記式とを用いて、電解質膜のイオン伝導度(σ)を得た。
 σ = l/(s・R)
(式中、lは電解質膜の厚さ(cm)を表し、sは断面積(cm)を表し、Rはバルク抵抗値(Ω)を表す。)
 得られた結果については、下記表1に示す。

 表1より以下のことが分かった。つまり、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
 一方、比較例1-1は、無機複合粒子の代わりに無機粒子のみを用いているため、実施例よりもイオン伝導度が低かった。比較例1-2は、ベタイン構造を備える一方で、官能基を有さない化合物を用いた無機複合粒子を用いているため、実施例よりもイオン伝導度が低かった。また、比較例1-3は、ベタイン構造を備えない化合物を用いた無機複合粒子を用いているため、実施例よりもイオン伝導度が低かった。
B2.実験2
<実施例2-1~実施例2-4>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、(i)リチウム塩濃度と、(ii)電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を以下の表2に示す比率に変更したこと以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
<比較例2-1>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、(i)化合物Aを用いた無機複合粒子ではなく、アルミナを使用した点と、(ii)リチウム塩濃度と、(iii)電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/アルミナ質量の比率を表2に示す比率に変更したこと以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表2に示す。

 表2より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例2-1~実施例2-4と比較例2-1とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なるリチウム塩濃度とした場合においても、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
B3.実験3
<実施例3-1~実施例3-2>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、電解液としてEMIm-FSIの代わりに、1-methyl-1-propyl-pyrrolidinium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(MPPy-FSI)(第一工業製薬社製、製品名:エレクセルIL-120)を使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を以下の表3に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
(比較例3-1)
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、無機複合粒子の代わりにアルミナを使用した点、電解液としてEMIm-FSIではなくMPPy-FSIを使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/アルミナ質量の比率を表3に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表3に示す。

 表3より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例3-1~実施例3-2と比較例3-1とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なる電解液を使用した場合においても、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
B4.実験4
<実施例4-1~実施例4-2>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、リチウム塩としてLiFSIの代わりにLithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI)を使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を以下の表4に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
<比較例4-1>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、無機複合粒子の代わりにアルミナを使用した点、リチウム塩としてLiFSIの代わりにLiTFSIを使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/アルミナ質量の比率を表4に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表4に示す。

 表4より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例4-1~実施例4-2と比較例4-1とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なるリチウム塩を使用した場合においても、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
B5.実験5
<実施例5-1~実施例5-2>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、リチウム塩としてLiFSIの代わりにLithiumtetrafluoroborate(LiBF)を使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を以下の表5に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
<比較例5-1>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、無機複合粒子の代わりにアルミナを使用した点、リチウム塩としてLiFSIの代わりにLiBFを使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/アルミナ質量の比率を表5に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表5に示す。

 表5より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例5-1~実施例5-2と比較例5-1とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なるリチウム塩を使用した場合においても、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
B6.実験6
<実施例6-1~実施例6-2>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、電解液としてEMIm-FSIの代わりにEthylene Carbonate(EC)/Propylene Carbonate(PC)=1/1を使用した点、リチウム塩としてLiFSIの代わりにLithium Hexafluorophosphate(LiPF)を使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を以下の表6に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
<比較例6-1>
 実施例1-1の電解質膜において、無機複合粒子の代わりにアルミナを使用した点、電解液としてEMIm-FSIの代わりにEC/PC=1/1を使用した点、リチウム塩としてLiFSIの代わりにLiPFを使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/アルミナ質量の比率を表6に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例1-1と同様の方法により電解質膜を作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表6に示す。

 表6より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例6-1~実施例6-2と比較例6-1とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なるリチウム塩及び電解液を使用した場合においても、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
B7.実験7
<実施例7-1>
(無機複合粒子の調製)
 実施例1-1と同じ方法により無機複合粒子を得た。
(複合電解質の作製)
 マトリクス材であるカーボネート骨格を持つ分子量6万程度の10質量%ポリウレタン/N-methylpyrrolidone(NMP)溶液34.5質量部と、電解液溶媒であるEMImFSI(第一工業製薬株式会社製、製品名:エレクセルIL-110)20.3質量部と、リチウム塩であるLiFSI3.8質量部とを混合した後、自公転攪拌装置を用いて無機複合粒子41.4質量部を溶液中に分散させることにより、複合電解質溶液を作製した。
 作製した複合電解質溶液を、アプリケーターを用いて厚み20μmのSUS箔上に塗布した後、80℃で6時間乾燥した。その後、80℃で10時間真空加熱することによって、以下の表7に示す組成比の複合電解質塗膜を得た。
 得られた実施例7-1に係る複合電解質膜について、直径16φに打ち抜いた後に交流インピーダンス測定を実施することにより、イオン伝導度を計算した。
<実施例7-2>
 実施例7-1の複合電解質膜において、電解質溶液質量/無機複合粒子質量の比率を表7に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例7-1と同様の方法により複合電解質膜を作製した。
<比較例7-1~比較例7-2>
 実施例7-1の複合電解質膜において、無機複合粒子の代わりにアルミナを使用した点、電解質溶液質量/アルミナ質量の比率を表7に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例7-1と同様の方法により複合電解質膜を作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表7に示す。

 表7より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例7-1~実施例7-2と比較例7-1~比較例7-2とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なるポリマーを使用した場合においても、ベタイン構造及びベタイン構造以外に1つ以上の官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
B8.実験8
<実施例8-1>
(無機複合粒子の調製)
 上述の化合物Aを0.33質量%溶解させた水溶液に対し、無機粒子としてのLi1+x+yTi2-xAl3-ySiyO12(0<x<2,0<y<3))(LATP)を化合物A/LATP=1/100となるように混合した。その後、室温(25℃)で12時間攪拌することにより無機粒子と化合物Aを複合させた後、水溶液と無機粒子を濾別することにより、無機複合粒子を得た。
(電解質粉末の作製)
 マトリクス材であるPoly Vinylidene DiFluoride(PVDF)(分子量約30万)を2.5質量部と、電解液溶媒であるEMImFSI(第一工業製薬株式会社製、製品名:エレクセルIL-110)6.3質量部と、リチウム塩であるLiFSI1.2質量部と、希釈溶剤であるDME50質量部とを混合した後、自公転攪拌装置を用いて無機複合粒子を溶液中に分散させることにより、電解質溶液を作製した。その後、希釈溶剤を減圧乾燥することにより、電解質粉末を得た。
(電解質ペレットの作製)
 作製した電解質粉末を、直径12φの円筒型の金型に0.3g程度入れた後、200kgf/cmの圧力で30秒間一軸加圧することにより、以下の表8に示す組成比の電解質ペレットを作製した。
 得られた電解質ペレットについて、厚みを測定した後に交流インピーダンス測定を実施することにより、イオン伝導度を計算した。
<実施例8-2>
 実施例8-1の電解質ペレットにおいて、無機粒子としてLATPの代わりにLiLaZr12(LLZ)を使用した点以外は、実施例8-1と同様の方法により電解質ペレットを作製した。
<実施例8-3>
 実施例8-1の電解質ペレットにおいて、無機粒子としてLATPの代わりにLa-Li-Ti系ペロブスカイト型酸化物(LLT)を使用した点以外は、実施例8-1と同様の方法により電解質ペレットを作製した。
<実施例8-4>
 実施例8-1の電解質ペレットにおいて、無機粒子としてLATPの代わりにLi1.5Al0.5Ge1.5(PO(LAGP)を使用した点以外は、実施例8-1と同様の方法により電解質ペレットを作製した。
<比較例8-1~比較例8-2>
 実施例8-1の電解質ペレットにおいて、無機複合粒子の代わりにLATPを使用した点、電解質溶液の希釈溶剤以外の質量/LATP質量の比率を表8に示す比率に変更した点以外は、実施例8-1と同様の方法により電解質ペレットを作製した。
 得られた結果については、下記表8に示す。

 表8より以下のことが分かった。つまり、実施例8-1~実施例8-4と比較例8-1~比較例8-2とを比較することにより、実験1とは異なる無機粒子を使用した場合においても、ベタイン構造及び官能基を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含む実施例は、そうではない比較例と比較して、イオン伝導度が高いことが分かった。
 本発明は、上述の実施形態に限られるものではなく、その趣旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々の構成で実現することができる。例えば、発明の概要の欄に記載した各形態中の技術的特徴に対応する実施形態、実施例中の技術的特徴は、上述の課題の一部または全部を解決するために、あるいは、上述の効果の一部または全部を達成するために、適宜、差し替えや、組み合わせを行うことが可能である。また、その技術的特徴が本明細書中に必須なものとして説明されていなければ、適宜、削除することが可能である。
 本実施形態の電解質は、イオン伝導度が高い。このため、本実施形態の電解質を備える蓄電デバイスは、モバイル機器電源に好適に用いることができるとともに、例えば、ウェアラブル機器、電動工具、電動自転車、電動車椅子、ロボット、電気自動車、非常用電源および大容量定置電源等にも有用である。

Claims (7)

  1.  (メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)、Al(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)から選択された1種または2種以上の官能基及びベタイン構造を有する化合物と、無機粒子と、が複合している無機複合粒子を含むことを特徴とする、電解質。
  2.  請求項1に記載の電解質であって、
     前記官能基が、(メタ)アクリロキシ基、Si(OR)基(Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~3のアルキル基)から選択された1種または2種以上であることを特徴とする、電解質。
  3.  請求項1または請求項2に記載の電解質であって、
     前記ベタイン構造が、SO 、PO、及びCOOから選択された1種または2種以上と、4級アンモニウムカチオンと、を有することを特徴とする、電解質。
  4.  請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の電解質であって、
     前記化合物の含有量が、前記無機粒子の含有量100質量部に対し、0.1質量部以上10質量部以下であることを特徴とする、電解質。
  5.  請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の電解質であって、
     前記無機粒子のBET比表面積が1.0m/g以上であることを特徴とする、電解質。
  6.  請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の電解質であって、
     無機複合粒子の含有量が、電解質100質量部に対し、1質量部以上50質量部以下であることを特徴とする、電解質。
  7.  請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載の電解質を備える蓄電デバイス。
