Definitions

  • the present specification relates to an induction heating device and a control method of the induction heating device.
  • a method of heating a container using electrical energy is largely classified into a resistance heating method and an induction heating method.
  • the resistance heating method is a method of heating a container using thermal energy generated when electric energy is supplied to a non-metallic heating element such as a metal resistance wire or silicon carbide.
  • the induction heating method is a method of generating an eddy current in a metal container using a magnetic field generated around the working coil when electric energy is supplied to the working coil to heat the container itself.
  • the induction heating device may include two or more heating zones and two or more working coils corresponding thereto. For example, when a user using an induction heating device having two heating zones puts a container on each of the two heating zones and wants to cook at the same time, power for driving each of the two working coils is supplied. Description
