Description

배터리 팩 및 이를 포함하는 디바이스
관련 출원(들)과의 상호 인용
본 출원은 2020년 10월 12일자 한국 특허 출원 제10-2020-0131093호에 기초한 우선권의 이익을 주장하며, 해당 한국 특허 출원의 문헌에 개시된 모든 내용은 본 명세서의 일부로서 포함된다.
본 발명은 배터리 팩 및 이를 포함하는 디바이스에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 무선 전송 성능이 확보된 배터리 팩 및 이를 포함하는 디바이스에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 충방전이 가능한 이차 전지가 무선 이동 기기의 전원인 배터리로서 널리 사용되고 있다. 이러한 배터리는 화석 연료를 사용하는 종래 가솔린 또는 디젤 차량의 대기오염을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 제시되고 있는 전기자동차(EV), 하이브리드 전기자동차(HEV) 등의 동력원으로도 각광받고 있다. 이러한 배터리가 충전과 방전을 번갈아 수행하는 경우 배터리의 충방전을 효율적으로 제어하여 배터리가 적정한 동작 상태 및 성능을 유지하도록 관리할 필요성이 있다.
이를 위해, 배터리의 상태 및 성능을 관리하는 배터리 관리 시스템(Battery Management System: BMS)이 배터리 팩에 구비된다. BMS는 배터리의 전류, 전압, 온도 등을 측정하여 이를 메모리에 기록하여 배터리를 관리한다.
한편, 최근 이차 전지의 에너지 저장원 으로서의 활용을 비롯하여 대용량 이차 전지 구조에 대한 필요성이 높아지면서, 다수의 이차 전지가 직렬/병렬로 연결된 배터리 모듈을 집합시킨 멀티 모듈 구조의 배터리 팩에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다.
이러한 멀티 모듈 구조의 배터리 팩은 회로 및 PCB의 구성 등에 따라 다양한 형태의 팩 구조로 구현될 수 있는데, 이차 전지의 상태를 제어하기 용이한 복수 개의 슬레이브 BMS와 복수개의 슬레이브 BMS를 통합 제어하는 마스터 BMS로 구성되는 멀티 BMS 구조가 주로 이용되고 있다.
종래 마스터 BMS와 슬레이브 BMS 간의 통신은 유선 연결된 Wired BMS 방식을 사용하였지만, 비용 절감, 디자인 자유도 확보, 무게 감소 등의 개선을 위해 최근 무선 BMS 방식(WBMS, Wireless Battery Management System)이 각광받고 있다. 무선 BMS 방식을 통해, 기존 유선 연결시 사용되었던 와이어 하네스가 불필요하여 그에 따른 비용 감소 및 무게 감소를 가져올 수 있으며, 무게 감소로 인해 배터리 팩이 장착된 전기 자동차의 연비 개선 효과도 가져올 수 있다. 또한 기존 유선 연결시 사용되었던 커넥터를 제거할 수 있어 이를 통한 비용 감소 및 불량률 감소가 가능할 수 있다.
무선 BMS 방식에서 가장 핵심이 되는 부분 중의 하나는 안테나의 성능으로서, 안테나의 성능은 안테나가 동작하는 환경에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 특히, 전기자동차에 장착되는 배터리 팩의 경우 사이즈가 크며 주변이 금속 소재로 구성되어 있어 반사로 인한 다중 경로 현상이 발생하여 통신이 열화될 우려가 있다. 따라서 무선 BMS 방식에 있어서 무선 통신 성능 열화를 최소화할 수 있는 배터리 팩 구조의 설계가 필수적으로 요구될 수 있다.
본 발명의 해결하고자 하는 과제는, 무선 전송 성능이 확보될 수 있는 팩 구조를 포함하는 배터리 팩 및 이를 포함하는 디바이스를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 과제들은 이상에서 언급한 과제들로 제한되지 않으며, 언급되지 않은 또 다른 과제들은 아래의 기재로부터 당업자에게 명확하게 이해될 수 있을 것이다.
상기 과제를 실현하기 위한 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 제1 방향으로 2열 배치되는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈과 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈; 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈을 수용하고, 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈 사이 및 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈 사이를 구획하는 복수의 크로스빔을 포함하는 배터리 케이스; 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 일측에 위치하고, 상기 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS; 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 일측에 위치하고, 상기 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS; 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 일측에 배치되는 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체; 및 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 일측에 배치되는 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체를 포함한다.
상기 배터리 팩은, 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 상측부에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드; 및 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 상측부에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS와 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈은 각각 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드와 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드의 사이에서 상기 제1 방향으로 배열될 수 있다.
상기 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체는 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제1 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제1 슬레이브 BMS와 이격되게 배치되고, 상기 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체는 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제2 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제2 슬레이브 BMS와 이격되게 배치될 수 있다.
상기 배터리 팩은 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드와 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드 사이에서 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈과 분리되어 형성되는 마스터 BMS를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드는 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈을 지나도록 상기 제1 방향으로 연장 형성되고, 상기 마스터 BMS는 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈과 상기 제1 방향으로 이격된 위치에 배치될 수 있다.
상기 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체는 상기 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS와 대응되도록 배열되고, 상기 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체는 상기 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS와 대응되도록 배열될 수 있다.
상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드는 상기 배터리 팩 상부 커버와 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈 사이에 형성되고, 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드는 상기 배터리 팩 상부 커버와 상기 보굿의 제2 배터리 모듈 사이에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS에는 안테나가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 배터리 케이스의 상면부를 커버하는 배터리 팩 상부 커버를 더 포함하고, 상기 배터리 팩 상부 커버에는 적어도 하나의 홀이 형성될 수 있다.
상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 각 배터리 모듈 중 인접한 두 배터리 모듈의 사이에 걸쳐지도록 배열된 복수의 제1 버스바; 및 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 각 배터리 모듈 중 인접한 두 배터리 모듈의 사이에 걸쳐지도록 배열된 복수의 제2 버스바를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 일 실시예에 따른 디바이스는 상기 배터리 팩을 포함한다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩 및 이를 포함하는 디바이스는, 신규한 구조의 WBMS가 장착된 배터리 팩 구조를 제공하여, 배터리의 무선 통신 성능을 확보할 수 있다.
본 발명의 효과들은 이상에서 언급한 효과들로 제한되지 않으며, 언급되지 않은 또 다른 효과들은 청구범위의 기재로부터 당업자에게 명확하게 이해될 수 있을 것이다.

이하, 도 1 내지 도 4를 참조하여 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 BMS가 구비된 배터리 팩에 대해 설명한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩을 나타내는 사시도이다. 도 2는 도 1의 배터리 팩을 상측에서 바라본 상면도이다. 도 3은 도 1의 A 부분으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩 상부 커버에 홀이 형성된 모습을 나타낸 도면이다. 도 4는 도 2의 B-B 부분으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 반사파 흡수체가구비된 배터리 팩의 가운데 부분을 보여주는 단면도이다.
도 1 내지 도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 제1 방향으로 2열 배치되는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)과 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300), 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)을 수용하고, 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200) 사이 및 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300) 사이를 구획하는 복수의 크로스 빔(110)을 포함하는 배터리 케이스(100)를 포함한다. 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)과 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)은 서로 마주보면서 배치될 수 있다.
또한 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 상측부에서 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400), 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 상측부에서 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)를 포함한다.
또한 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)과 마주보는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 일측에 위치하고, 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)와 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)의 사이에서 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600) 및 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)과 마주보는 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 일측에 위치하고, 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)와 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)의 사이에서 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)를 포함한다.
도 1을 참조하면, 배터리 케이스(100)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)을 수용한다. 배터리 케이스(100)의 복수의 모듈 영역은 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300) 각각의 크기와 대응되는 크기로 형성될 수 있다. 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)은 복수의 모듈 영역에 각각 자리잡을 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)은 제1 방향을 따라 배열되고, 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)은 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 측면에서 제1 방향을 따라 배열되어 2열의 배터리 모듈 배열 구조를 형성할 수 있다. 이때 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)을 구성하는 각 배터리 모듈은 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)을 구성하는 각 배터리 모듈과 마주보도록 서로 이격되게 배치될 수 있다.
도 2 및 도 4를 참고하면, 각각의 모듈 영역 사이에는 크로스 빔(110)이 형성되어 각 모듈 영역에 배치되는 배터리 모듈들의 사이를 구획할 수 있다. 크로스 빔(110)은 배터리 케이스(100)의 외곽을 형성하는 외측벽(120)과 함께 외부에서 작용하는 물리력으로부터 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)을 보호할 수 있다.
열전도성 수지층은 배터리 케이스(100)의 바닥면에 형성될 수 있다. 열전도성 수지층은 복수의 모듈 영역 각각에 배치된 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)으로부터 발생한 열을 배터리 팩의 외부로 전달할 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200) 각각에 배치될 수 있다. 보다 상세하게는, 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)과 마주보는 부분에 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)가 배치될 수 있다. 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)는 배터리 케이스(100)의 가운데 부분에 배치될 수 있다. 즉 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)의 사이에서 제1 방향을 따라 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 일측부들에 배치됨으로써 배터리 케이스(100)의 가운데 부분을 가로질러 배치될 수 있다.
제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)는 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 각각에 배치될 수 있다. 보다 상세하게는, 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)과 마주보는 부분에 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)가 배치될 수 있다. 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)는 배터리 케이스(100)의 가운데 부분에 배치될 수 있다. 즉 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)의 사이에서 제1 방향을 따라 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 일측부들에 배치됨으로써 배터리 케이스(100)의 가운데 부분을 가로질러 배치될 수 있다.
마스터 BMS와 슬레이브 BMS의 배치 위치에 따른 무선 전송 특성을 살펴보면, 슬레이브 BMS가 배터리 케이스의 외곽 부분에 위치하는 것 보다 본 실시예와 같이 슬레이브 BMS가 배터리 케이스의 중앙 부분, 즉 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 배터리 모듈 사이 공간에 위치하는 것이 무선 전송 성능 면에서 더 유리해질 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 상측부에서 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400) 및 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 상측부에서 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)를 포함한다. 이때 본 실시예에 따른 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)는 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500) 사이에 형성된 공간에 위치할 수 있다. 또한 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)는 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)와 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200) 사이에 형성되고, 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)는 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)와 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300) 사이에 형성될 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은 주로 전기자동차의 내부에 장착되는 바, 장착되는 배터리 팩의 주변이 금속 소재로 이루어져 있어 금속 소재로 인해 반사된 전파의 다중 경로 현상으로 인해 통신 성능이 열화될 우려가 있다. 이에 본 실시예에 따르면, 복수의 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)가 설치된 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)의 사이 공간을 커버하도록 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)가 형성될 수 있다. 따라서, 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)의 사이에 형성된 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)의 사이 공간에 무선 전송 신호 분포를 밀집시켜 무선 전송 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 마스터 BMS(800)와 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700) 간의 통신에서 발생할 수 있는 열화를 최소화시킬 수 있다.
실험예에 따르면, 본 실시예에 따른 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700) 중앙 배치 구조 및 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500) 배치 구조가 형성된 배터리 팩에서, 종래 슬레이브 BMS들이 외곽에 배치되고 웨이브 경로 가이드가 미설치된 배터리 팩 구조와 대비하여, S-파라미터 중 무선 전송 계수 S21이 -53.78dB에서 -35.21dB로 18dB 가량 향상되어 안정적인 통신 연결 구조를 구축할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)와 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500) 사이에서 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈과 분리되어 형성되는 마스터 BMS(800)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 마스터 BMS(800)는 상위 시스템과 통신을 할 수 있다. 마스터 BMS(800)는 복수개의 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)와의 통신을 주관할 수 있다.
제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)을 지나도록 마스터 BMS(800)가 배치된 위치까지 제1 방향으로 연장 형성되고, 마스터 BMS(800)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)과 제1 방향으로 이격된 위치에 배치될 수 있다. 이때 마스터 BMS(800)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)과 대칭으로 배치될 수 있다.
따라서 마스터 BMS(800)는 복수의 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)과 대칭적으로 떨어진 위치에 배치되어 슬레이브 BMS들과의 통신을 균형적으로 진행할 수 있다. 또한 마스터 BMS(800)가 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)과 함께 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)의 사이 공간에 배치됨으로써 마스터 BMS(800)와 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700) 간의 통신 열화를 최소화하고 무선 통신 성능을 확보할 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)에는 안테나가 형성될 수 있다. 안테나는 칩 안테나를 포함할 수 있다. 실험예에 따르면, 본 실시예에 따른 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)에 칩 안테나를 사용할 경우, 패턴 안테나를 사용할 경우와 대비하여 10dB 이상 우수한 무선 성능을 확보할 수 있다.
도 1을 참조하면, 본 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 배터리 케이스(100)의 상면부를 커버하는 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)를 더 포함한다. 이때, 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)에는 적어도 하나의 홀(130a)이 형성될 수 있다.
배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)에 형성된 홀(130a)을 통해 배터리 팩의 방열 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 다만 배터리 팩의 외부와 내부를 연결하는 홀(130a)로 인해 BMS 간의 통신시 노이즈가 발생할 수 있으며, 홀(130a)의 크기가 커질 경우 노이즈도 증가할 수 있다. 따라서 방열 성능과 노이즈 성능을 동시에 적절히 만족시킬 수있는 홀(130a)의 갯수 및 크기가 적용될 수 있다. 실험예에 따르면, 마스터 BMS 또는 슬레이브 BMS의 안테나 바로 위에 홀이 위치하거나, 홀 근처에 휴대폰 핫스팟이 위치하는 등 워스트(Worst) 케이스의 경우 무선 전송 특성 및 노이즈 대응 성능을 살펴본 결과, 홀의 직경을 45mm 이하로 설계할 경우 무선 전송 성능을 확보할 수 있고, 20mm 이하로 설계할 경우 노이즈 대응 성능을 확보할 수 있다. 다만 홀이 복수개 있다고 하더라도 동일한 노이즈 대응 성능을 가질 수 있는바, 방열과 노이즈 성능을 고려하여 작은 직경의 홀을 복수개 배치하는 구조가 유리할 수 있다. 도 1에는 하나의 홀(130a)만 도시되어 있으나, 상기 실험예에 따라 복수개의 홀이 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)에 배치될 수 있다.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)과 마주보는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 일측에 배치되는 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체(1100) 및 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)과 마주보는 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 일측에 배치되는 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체(1200)를 포함한다.
본 실시예와 같이 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)를 이용하여 인위적인 전파 통로 공간을 생성하는 경우 전송 신호가 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500) 사이 공간에 집중됨으로써 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500) 사이에 구비된 부품들로부터의 반사 간섭 전파들이 발생하여 무선 통신 성능이 저하될 우려가 있다.
이에 본 실시예에 따르면, 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 일측에 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체(1100)가 각각의 배터리 모듈들마다 배치될 수 있도록 하여, 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)의 사이에 구비된 부품들로부터 발생할 수 있는 반사 간섭 전파들을 흡수하여 반사 간섭 전파들로부터 무선 통신이 방해받지 않는 환경을 조성할 수 있다.
도 4에는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 일측에 구비된 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체(1100)의 구성만 개시되어 있으나, 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)들 또한 도 4의 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)들의 배치 구조와 대칭을 이루며 동일하게 배치되어 있다. 따라서 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 일측에도 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체(1200)가 구비되어 있으며, 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체(1100)와 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체(1200)는 서로 대칭을 이루며 배열될 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체(1100)는 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400) 및 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)의 하측에서 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400) 및 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 이격되게 배치될 수 있다. 또한 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체(1200) 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500) 및 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)의 하측에서 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500) 및 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)와 이격되게 배치될 수 있다.
이때, 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체(1100)는 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)의 하측에서 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 대응되도록 배열될 수 있다. 또한 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체(1200)는 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)의 하측에서 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)와 대응되도록 배열될 수 있다.
이와 같이, 제1,2 반사파 흡수체(1100, 1200)는 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)와 이격된 위치에 배치되어 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS(600, 700)의 무선 통신 기능을 방해하지 않는 위치에 설치될 수 있다. 제1,2 반사파 흡수체(1100, 1200)는 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)와 함께 배터리 팩 내부에 구비되어, 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드(400, 500)를 통해 전송 경로가 방향성을 가진 상태에서 제1,2 반사파 흡수체(1100, 1200)를 통해 반사 간섭 전파를 제거 할 수 있어 본 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩의 무선 전송 성능을 극대화할 수 있다.
도 5는 도 2의 D 부분으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 슬레이브 BMS 간 간격을 보여주는 도면이다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)는 간격(G1)을 가지도록 서로 이격되게 형성될 수 있다. 보다 상세하게는, 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)에 배치된 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와, 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)에 배치된 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)은 서로 이격되게 형성될 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700)들간 이격 거리는 50mm로 형성될 수 있다. 종래에는 2열로 배열된 두 배터리 모듈들 간의 거리가 30mm로 다소 협소하게 배치되었으나, 본 실시예와 같이 두 배터리 모듈들 간의 거리를 50mm로 증가시킴으로써 무선 전송 공간이 증가하여 그에 따른 무선 전송 성능이 향상될 수 있다.
도 6은 도 4의 C 부분으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 케이스의 외측벽의 높이를 보여주는 도면이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 배터리 케이스(100)의 외측벽(120)의 상단과 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)가 결합하고, 배터리 팩 상부 커버(130)는 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈(200, 300)과 이격되게 형성될 수 있다.
본 실시예에 따르면, 외측벽(120)의 높이(H2)는 138mm로 형성될 수 있다. 종래에는 외측벽의 높이가 128mm로 형성되었으나, 본 실시예와 따르면 외측벽(120)의 높이(H2)를 종래 외측벽의 높이보다 더 높아지도록 함으로써 무선 전송 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다. 다시 말하면, 외측벽(120)의 높이(H2)가 높아질수록 무선 전송 성능이 향상될 수 있다.
도 6에서는 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)가 형성된 부분만 보여주고 있으나, 반대편에 형성된 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS(700) 및 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)가 형성된 부분도 도 6에 배치된 구성과 동일하게 대칭적으로 배치되어 있다.
도 7은 도 4의 C 부분으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 케이스의 크로스 빔의 높이를 보여주는 도면이다.
도 3 및 도 7을 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩은, 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈(200)의 각 배터리 모듈 중 인접한 두 배터리 모듈의 사이에 걸쳐지도록 배열된 복수의 제1 버스바(910) 및 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈(300)의 각 배터리 모듈 중 인접한 두 배터리 모듈 사이에 걸쳐지도록 배열된 복수의 제2 버스바(920)를 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 크로스 빔(110)은 복수의 제1,2 버스바(910, 920)의 하측에서 복수의 제1,2 버스바(910, 920)와 각각 이격되게 형성될 수 있다
본 실시예에 따르면, 크로스 빔(110)의 높이는 70mm로 형성될 수 있다. 종래 크로스 빔(110)의 높이는 90mm 정도로 형성되었으나, 본 실시예에 따르면 크로스 빔(110)의 높이(H3)를 종래의 크로스 빔(110)의 높이보다 더 낮아지도록 함으로써 무선 전송 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다. 다시 말하면, 크로스 빔(110)의 높이(H3)가 낮아질수록 무선 전송 성능이 향상될 수 있다.
도 7에서는 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS(600)와 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드(400)가 형성된 부분만 보여주고 있으나, 반대편에 형성된 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS (700) 및 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드(500)가 형성된 부분도 도 6에 배치된 구성과 동일하게 대칭적으로 배치되어 있다.
상기 배터리 팩은 다양한 디바이스에 적용될 수 있다. 이러한 디바이스에는, 전기 자전거, 전기 자동차, 하이브리드 자동차 등의 운송 수단에 적용될 수 있으나, 본 발명은 이에 제한되지 않고 배터리 모듈을 사용할 수 있는 다양한 디바이스에 적용 가능하며, 이 또한 본 발명의 권리범위에 속한다.
이상에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 대하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 실시예에 한정되지 아니하며, 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 다양한 변형실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 이러한 변형 실시들은 본 발명의 기술적 사상이나 전망으로부터 개별적으로 이해되어서는 안될 것이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 제1 방향으로 2열 배치되는 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈과 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈;
    상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈을 수용하고, 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈 사이 및 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈 사이를 구획하는 복수의 크로스빔을 포함하는 배터리 케이스;
    상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 일측에 위치하고, 상기 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS;
    상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 일측에 위치하고, 상기 제1 방향으로 배열되는 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS;
    상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 일측에 배치되는 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체; 및
    상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈과 마주보는 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 일측에 배치되는 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체를 포함하는 배터리 팩.
  2. 제1항에서,
    상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 상측부에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드; 및
    상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 상측부에서 상기 제1 방향을 따라 연장 형성된 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드를 더 포함하는 배터리 팩.
  3. 제2항에서,
    상기 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS와 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈은 각각 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드와 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드의 사이에서 상기 제1 방향으로 배열되는 배터리 팩.
  4. 제3항에서,
    상기 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체는 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제1 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제1 슬레이브 BMS와 이격되게 배치되고,
    상기 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체는 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제2 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드 및 상기 제2 슬레이브 BMS와 이격되게 배치되는 배터리 팩.
  5. 제2항에서,
    상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드와 상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드 사이에서 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈과 분리되어 형성되는 마스터 BMS를 더 포함하는 배터리 팩.
  6. 제5항에서,
    상기 제1,2 웨이브 경로 가이드는 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈을 지나도록 상기 제1 방향으로 연장 형성되고,
    상기 마스터 BMS는 상기 복수의 제1,2 배터리 모듈과 상기 제1 방향으로 이격된 위치에 배치되는 배터리 팩.
  7. 제1항에서,
    상기 복수의 제1 반사파 흡수체는 상기 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 복수의 제1 슬레이브 BMS와 대응되도록 배열되고,
    상기 복수의 제2 반사파 흡수체는 상기 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS의 하측에서 상기 복수의 제2 슬레이브 BMS와 대응되도록 배열되는 배터리 팩.
  8. 제2항에서,
    상기 제1 웨이브 경로 가이드는 상기 배터리 팩 상부 커버와 상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈 사이에 형성되고,
    상기 제2 웨이브 경로 가이드는 상기 배터리 팩 상부 커버와 상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈 사이에 형성되는 배터리 팩.
  9. 제1항에서,
    상기 제1,2 슬레이브 BMS에는 안테나가 형성된 배터리 팩.
  10. 제1항에서,
    상기 배터리 케이스의 상면부를 커버하는 배터리 팩 상부 커버를 더 포함하고,
    상기 배터리 팩 상부 커버에는 적어도 하나의 홀이 형성되는 배터리 팩.
  11. 제1항에서,
    상기 복수의 제1 배터리 모듈의 각 배터리 모듈 중 인접한 두 배터리 모듈의 사이에 걸쳐지도록 배열된 복수의 제1 버스바; 및
    상기 복수의 제2 배터리 모듈의 각 배터리 모듈 중 인접한 두 배터리 모듈의 사이에 걸쳐지도록 배열된 복수의 제2 버스바를 포함하는 배터리 팩.
  12. 제1항에 따른 배터리 팩을 포함하는 디바이스.
