After the NAS function receives the report, it selects the PLMN according to the PLMN selection strategy, and Instruct the AS function to complete the network selection process.
- Manual selection means that the AS function reads the cell broadcast and reports all available PLMNs to the NAS function, as well as the associated PLMN ID.
- the NAS function supports display and manual selection instructions. After the user manually selects, the NAS function informs the AS function of the PLMN ID selected by the user, and the AS function completes the network selection process.
- the terminal needs to read the PLMN ID broadcast by each cell of the wireless network in order to select the PLMN.
- NPN1 and NPN2 The services of both NPNs are provided through the same PLMN.
- the CAG IDs used for NPN1 network users are 1 and 2; the CAG IDs used for NPN2 network users are 3 and 4.
