Description

光学材料の製造方法、光学材料用重合性組成物、及び光学材料
 本開示は、光学材料の製造方法、光学材料用重合性組成物、及び光学材料に関する。
 ポリチオウレタン樹脂製の光学材料(例えばレンズ)を製造するための重合性組成物として、ポリチオール化合物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物が知られている(例えば、下記特許文献1参照)。
 特許文献1には、水分の含有量が10~300ppmである、ポリチオール化合物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物からなる重合性組成物を重合することにより、脈理や白濁を生じることなく、無色透明で歪みの無い高性能のポリチオウレタン樹脂製光学材料(レンズ等)を良好に製造できる、との記載がある。
 特許文献1:国際公開第2008/047626号
 しかしながら、本発明者の検討により、ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物中に、有機溶媒である、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aが混入した場合、重合性組成物を硬化して得られる硬化物に気泡が生じる場合があることが判明した。
 重合性組成物に溶剤Aが混入するケースとしては、例えば;
反応槽及び/又は配管の洗浄を溶剤Aによって行う前提の下、反応槽内及び/又は配管内に溶剤Aが残留した結果、重合性組成物に混入する場合;
モノマー(即ち、ポリチオール組成物、ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物等)の製造工程で溶剤Aを使用する前提の下、モノマーから溶剤Aが十分に除去されなかった結果、重合性組成物に混入するケース;
等が考えられる。
 本開示の一態様の目的は、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aが混入した重合性組成物を用いるにもかかわらず、気泡の発生が抑制された光学材料、上記光学材料を製造できる光学材料の製造方法、及び、上記光学材料の製造に好適な光学材料用重合性組成物を提供することである。
 上記課題を解決する手段には、以下の態様が含まれる。
<1> ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物を準備する工程と、
 前記重合性組成物中における、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aの含有量を測定し、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内であるかどうかを確認し、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である場合に、前記重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む決定工程と、
 前記光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入し、硬化させて、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る工程と、
を含む、光学材料の製造方法。
<2> 前記決定工程は、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である場合に、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整し、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整された前記重合性組成物を、前記光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む、

 本開示の一態様によれば、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aが混入した重合性組成物を用いるにもかかわらず、気泡の発生が抑制された光学材料、上記光学材料を製造できる光学材料の製造方法、及び、上記光学材料の製造に好適な光学材料用重合性組成物が提供される。
 
 本開示において、「~」を用いて表される数値範囲は、「~」の前後に記載される数値を下限値及び上限値として含む範囲を意味する。
 本開示において、「工程」との用語は、独立した工程だけではなく、他の工程と明確に区別できない場合であってもその工程の所期の目的が達成されれば、本用語に含まれる。
 本開示において、組成物に含まれる各成分の量は、組成物中に各成分に該当する物質が複数存在する場合は、特に断らない限り、組成物中に存在する当該複数の物質の合計量を意味する。
 本開示中に段階的に記載されている数値範囲において、一つの数値範囲で記載された上限値又は下限値は、他の段階的な記載の数値範囲の上限値又は下限値に置き換えてもよい。また、本開示中に記載されている数値範囲において、その数値範囲の上限値又は下限値は、実施例に示されている値に置き換えてもよい。
〔光学材料の製造方法〕
 本開示の光学材料の製造方法は、
 ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物を準備する準備工程と、
 重合性組成物中におけるトルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aの含有量を測定し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内であるかどうかを確認し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である場合に、その重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む決定工程と、
 光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入し、硬化させて、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る工程と、
を含む。
 本開示の光学材料の製造方法は、必要に応じ、その他の工程を含んでもよい。
 本開示の光学材料の製造方法によれば、溶剤Aが混入した重合性組成物を用いるにもかかわらず、気泡の発生が抑制された光学材料を製造できる。
 詳細には、決定工程で光学材料用重合性組成物に決定される重合性組成物は、ポリチオール組成物、ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物、及び溶剤Aを含有し、かつ、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である重合性組成物である。
 溶剤Aの含有量(即ち、重合性組成物の全量に対する溶剤Aの含有量。以下同じ。)が1.70質量%以下であることにより、製造される光学材料において、気泡の発生が抑制される。
 溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%以上であることは、重合性組成物に、溶剤Aが実質的に含有されていることを意味する。
 以下、本開示の光学材料の製造方法の各工程について説明する。
<準備工程>
 準備工程は、ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物を準備する工程である。
 準備工程は、予め製造された上記重合性組成物を単に準備するだけの工程であってもよいし、上記重合性組成物を製造する工程であってもよい。
(ポリチオール組成物)
 準備工程で準備する重合性組成物は、ポリチオール組成物を少なくとも1種含有する。
 本開示において、ポリチオール組成物とは、少なくとも1種のポリチオール化合物を含有する組成物を意味する。
 本開示では、ポリチオール組成物に含有されるポリチオール化合物を、「ポリチオール成分」とも称する。
 ポリチオール組成物には、不純物として、ポリチオール化合物以外の成分(例えば溶剤A)が含有されていてもよい。
 ポリチオール組成物は、少なくとも1種のポリチオール化合物を主成分として含むことが好ましい。
 ここで、「ポリチオール組成物は、少なくとも1種のポリチオール化合物を主成分として含む」とは、ポリチオール組成物の全量に対する少なくとも1種のポリチオール化合物の総含有量が、50%以上であることを意味する。
 ポリチオール組成物の全量に対する少なくとも1種のポリチオール化合物の総含有量は、好ましくは60%以上であり、より好ましくは70%以上であり、更に好ましくは80%以上である。
 同様に、本開示において、組成物が、ある成分(以下、「成分X」とする)を「主成分として含む」とは、成分Xの含有量(成分Xが2種以上の化合物からなる場合には、2種以上の化合物の総含有量)が、組成物の全量に対し、50%以上であることを意味する。
 主成分である成分Xの含有量は、組成物の全量に対し、好ましくは60%以上であり、より好ましくは70%以上であり、更に好ましくは80%以上である。
 上記の「主成分として含む」との語の説明中における「%」は、高速液体クロマトグラフィーによって求められる、組成物(例えばポリチオール組成物)の全ピークの合計面積に対する成分X(例えば少なくとも1種のポリチオール化合物)の全ピークの合計面積の比率(面積%)を意味する。
 ポリチオール組成物としては、公知のポリチオール化合物を含むポリチオール組成物が挙げられる。
 ポリチオール化合物としては、チオール基(別名:メルカプト基)を2つ以上含む化合物であれば特に制限はない。
 ポリチオール化合物については、例えば、国際公開第2008/047626号の段落0034~0046の記載を適宜参照できる。
 ポリチオール組成物は、

 この場合、ポリチオール組成物は、ポリチオール成分A以外のその他の成分(例えば、その他のポリチオール化合物、ポリチオール化合物以外の成分(例えば溶剤A)、等)を少なくとも1種含有していてもよい。
 ポリチオール組成物のより具体的な態様としては、
4,8-ジメルカプトメチル-1,11-ジメルカプト-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン、4,7-ジメルカプトメチル-1,11-ジメルカプト-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン、及び5,7-ジメルカプトメチル-1,11-ジメルカプト-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン(以下、これら3つの化合物をまとめて「ポリチオール成分A1」ともいう)を主成分として含む態様;
4-メルカプトメチル-1,8-ジメルカプト-3,6-ジチアオクタン(以下、「ポリチオール成分A2」ともいう)を主成分として含む態様;

(ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物)
 準備工程で準備する重合性組成物は、ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を少なくとも1種含有する。
 本開示において、ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物とは、一分子中にイソ(チオ)シアネート基を2つ以上含む化合物を意味する。
 本開示において、「イソ(チオ)シアネート基」とは、イソシアネート基又はイソチオシアネート基を意味する。
 ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物については、例えば、国際公開第2008/047626号の段落0019~0033を適宜参照できる。
 ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物は、

 準備工程で準備する重合性組成物は、上述した成分以外のその他の成分を含有していてもよい。
 その他の成分としては、溶剤A、ブルーイング剤、メルカプト有機酸、樹脂(例えば、アクリル樹脂、オレフィン樹脂等)、架橋剤、光安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、着色防止剤、染料、充填剤、内部離型剤等が挙げられる。
 その他の成分としては、公知のものを用いることができる。
 その他の成分については、例えば、国際公開第2008/047626号の段落0048~0049を適宜参照できる。
<決定工程>
 決定工程は、準備工程で準備した重合性組成物中における溶剤Aの含有量を測定し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内であるかどうかを確認し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である場合に、その重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む。
 本開示における溶剤Aは、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である。
 溶剤Aは、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される1種である単独溶剤であってもよいし、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される2種以上である混合溶剤であってもよい。
 溶剤Aとしては、トルエン、アセトン、又はN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドが好ましく、トルエンがより好ましい。
 決定工程における溶剤Aの含有量(質量%)の測定は、1H-NMR又は13C-NMRによって行う。
 より具体的には、溶剤Aとしてのトルエンの含有量(質量%)の測定及び溶剤Aとしてのアセトンの含有量(質量%)の測定は、いずれも1H-NMRによって行い、溶剤AとしてのN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドの含有量(質量%)の測定は、13C-NMRによって行う。
 前述のとおり、溶剤Aの含有量が1.70質量%以下であることにより、製造される光学材料において、気泡の発生が抑制される。
 前述のとおり、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%以上であることは、重合性組成物に、溶剤Aが実質的に含有されていることを意味する。
 重合性組成物中に溶剤Aが含有されている理由については特に限定はない。
 重合性組成物中に溶剤Aが含有されている理由としては、例えば;
反応槽及び/又は配管の洗浄を溶剤Aによって行い、かつ、反応槽内及び/又は配管内に溶剤Aが残留した結果、重合性組成物に溶剤Aが混入したという理由;
モノマー(即ち、ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物)の製造工程で溶剤Aを使用し、かつ、モノマーから溶剤Aが十分に除去されなかった結果、重合性組成物に溶剤Aが混入したという理由;
等が挙げられる。
 決定工程において、重合性組成物中における溶剤Aの含有量を測定した結果、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である場合、その重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定する。
 即ち、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である重合性組成物を、光学材料を得る工程において用いる光学材料用重合性組成物として決定する。
 決定工程において、重合性組成物中における溶剤Aの含有量を測定した結果、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である場合、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である重合性組成物の取り扱いには特に制限はない。
 例えば、決定工程は、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である場合に、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整された重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含んでもよい。
 溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整する方法としては、重合性組成物に対して脱泡処理を施す方法が挙げられる。
 上記調整する方法としては、脱泡処理には限定されず、濃縮、希釈、等のその他の方法であってもよい。
 上述のとおり、決定工程において、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定するための基準となる溶剤Aの含有量の範囲(以下、「溶剤Aの含有量の基準範囲」ともいう)は、0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲である。
 溶剤Aの含有量の基準範囲の下限は、0.50質量%であってもよいし、0.60質量%であってもよいし、0.80質量%であってもよく、1.10質量%であってもよい。
<光学材料を得る工程>
 本開示の光学材料の製造方法は、決定工程で決定された光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入し、硬化させて、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る工程を含む。
 樹脂成型用型としては特に制限はないが、例えば、ガスケット又はテープ等で保持された一対のガラスモールドが挙げられる。
 この場合、一対のガラスモールド間に光学材料用重合性組成物を注入する。
 光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入した際、必要に応じ、脱泡処理、濾過処理等を行ってもよい。
 本工程では、樹脂成型用型に注入された光学材料用重合性組成物を硬化させることにより、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る。
 光学材料用重合性組成物の硬化は、光学材料用重合性組成物中のモノマー(即ち、ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物)を重合させることにより行う。
 上記モノマーの重合は、光学材料用重合性組成物を加熱することによって行ってもよい。この加熱は、例えば、オーブン中、水中等で加熱対象物を加熱する機構を備えた加熱装置を用いて行うことができる。
 光学材料用重合性組成物中のモノマーを重合させるための重合条件(例えば、重合温度、重合時間等)は、組成物の組成、組成物中のモノマーの種類及び使用量、組成物中の重合触媒の種類及び使用量、モールドの形状、等を考慮し、適宜設定される。
 重合温度として、例えば、-50℃~150℃、10℃~150℃、等が挙げられる。
 重合時間として、例えば、1時間~200時間、1時間~80時間、等が挙げられる。
 光学材料を得る工程では、光学材料用重合性組成物を硬化させて得られた樹脂成型体に対し、アニールを施してもよい。
 アニールの温度としては、50℃~150℃、90℃~140℃、100℃~130℃、等が挙げられる。
 光学材料を得る工程で得られる光学材料としては、特に限定はないが、例えば、レンズ(例えば、メガネレンズ、カメラレンズ、偏光レンズ、等)、発光ダイオード(LED)、等が挙げられる。
 光学材料を得る工程で得られる光学材料は、樹脂成型体であるが、樹脂成型体に対し、その他の要素が追加されたものであってもよい。
 その他の要素としては、その他の部材、樹脂成型体に対して設けられたコーティング層、等が挙げられる。
 光学材料の一例であるレンズとしては、メガネレンズ、カメラレンズ、偏光レンズ、等が挙げられる。
 以下、本開示のレンズの一例として、メガネレンズについて説明する。
 メガネレンズは、所望とするレンズ形状に成型された樹脂成型体である。
 メガネレンズである樹脂成型体の片面又は両面には、コーティング層が設けられてもよい。
 コーティング層として、具体的には、プライマー層、ハードコート層、反射防止層、防曇コート層、防汚染層、撥水層等が挙げられる。これらのコーティング層はそれぞれ単独で用いることも複数のコーティング層を多層化して用いることもできる。
 硬化物の両面にコーティング層を施す場合、それぞれの面に同様なコーティング層を施しても、異なるコーティング層を施してもよい。
 コーティング層の成分は、目的に応じて適宜選択できる。
 コーティング層の成分としては、例えば、樹脂(例えば、ウレタン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、メラミン樹脂、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂、等)、赤外線吸収剤、光安定剤、酸化防止剤、フォトクロ化合物、染料、顔料、帯電防止剤等が挙げられる。
 メガネレンズ及びコーティング層については、例えば、特開2002-194083号公報、国際公開第2017/047745号、国際公開第2008/047626号、等の公知文献の記載を適宜参照できる。
〔光学材料用重合性組成物〕
 本開示の光学材料用重合性組成物は、ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である。
 本開示の光学材料用重合性組成物における溶剤Aは、前述した本開示の光学材料の製造方法で説明した溶剤Aと同義であり、好ましい態様も同様である。
 本開示の光学材料用重合性組成物は、前述した本開示の光学材料の製造方法における決定工程で決定される組成物と同様であり、好ましい態様も同様である。
 従って、本開示の光学材料用重合性組成物によれば、気泡の発生が抑制された光学材料を製造できる。
 本開示の光学材料用重合性組成物としては、
溶剤Aの含有量の測定を行った結果、溶剤Aの含有量がもともと0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内であった光学材料用重合性組成物であってもよいし、
溶剤Aの含有量の測定を行った結果、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外であったが、その後、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整された光学材料用重合性組成物であってもよい。
〔光学材料〕
 本開示の光学材料は、上記本開示の光学材料用重合性組成物の硬化物であり、樹脂成型体である。
 本開示の光学材料は、前述した本開示の光学材料の製造方法における光学材料を得る工程で得られる光学材料と同様であり、好ましい態様も同様である。
 従って、本開示の光学材料では、気泡の発生が抑制されている。
 
 以下、本開示の実施例を示すが、本開示は以下の実施例には限定されない。
〔実施例1〕
<ポリチオール組成物の準備>
 ポリチオール成分A2(即ち、4-メルカプトメチル-1,8-ジメルカプト-3,6-ジチアオクタン)を主成分とするポリチオール組成物Xを準備した。
 次に、ポリチオール組成物Xと、溶剤Aとしてのトルエンと、を混合し、ポリチオール組成物Yを得た。
 ポリチオール組成物X及びトルエンの混合比は、後述する脱泡処理前の重合性組成物の全量に対するトルエンの含有量が、表1に示す仕込み比(質量%)となるように調整した。
<重合性組成物の調製>
 ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物としてのm-キシリレンジイソシアネート(52質量部)と、
 硬化触媒としてのジブチル錫ジクロライド(0.015質量部)と、
 酸性リン酸エステル系離型剤としてのゼレックUN(Stepan社製)(0.10質量部)と、
 紫外線吸収剤としてのバイオソーブ583(共同薬品社製)(1.0質量部)と、
を20℃にて混合した。
 ここに、上述したポリチオール組成物Y(48質量部)を混合し、得られた混合液に対し、600Paにて1時間の脱泡処理を施し、重合性組成物を得た。
<レンズの作製>
 脱泡処理後の重合性組成物を、テープで固定された一対のガラスモールド間に注入した。次に、重合性組成物が注入された上記一対のガラスモールドをオーブンに投入し、オーブン内温度を、30℃から120℃まで、24時間かけて除々に昇温させた。以上の過程により、脱泡処理後の重合性組成物中のモノマー(即ち、ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物及びポリチオール組成物)を重合させ、一対のガラスモールド間で、樹脂成型体(即ち、重合性組成物の硬化物である樹脂の成型体)を形成させた。
 続いて、オーブン内を冷却し、冷却後、オーブンから一対のガラスモールドを取り出し、次いで一対のガラスモールドから樹脂成型体を外し、樹脂成型体を得た。
 得られた樹脂成型体に対し、120℃で2時間のアニールを施し、厚さ2.5mm、直径75mmの円形平板型のレンズを得た。
<測定及び評価>
 上記各組成物及びレンズについて、以下の測定及び評価を行った。
 結果を表1に示す。
(脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対する溶剤Aとしてのトルエンの含有量)
 脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対する溶剤Aとしてのトルエンの含有量(質量%)を、1H-NMRにより、以下の測定条件で測定した。
-測定条件-
・装置 日本電子製ECX-400P
・観察範囲 7500Hz、
・積算回数 32回
・測定溶媒 重水素化クロロホルム
・測定方法詳細 … 重合性組成物中の濃度既知のバイオソーブ583のtert-ブチル基のシグナル(9H,0.77ppm)の積分値と、トルエンのメチル基のシグナル(3H,2.34ppm)の積分値と、を比較し、トルエンの含有量(質量%)を算出した。
(レンズ中の気泡)
 レンズを目視で観察し、下記評価基準に従って、レンズ中の気泡を評価した。
 下記評価基準において、気泡の発生が最も抑制されているランクはAである。
-レンズ中の気泡の評価基準-
A.レンズ全体に渡り、気泡の発生が確認されなかった。
B.レンズの周辺部に気泡の発生が確認されたが、レンズの中央部には気泡の発生が確認されなかった。
C.レンズ全体に渡って気泡の発生が確認された。
〔実施例2、比較例1〕
 脱泡処理前の重合性組成物の全量に対するトルエンの含有量(仕込み比)を、表1に示すように変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。
 結果を表1に示す。
〔実施例101、比較例101〕
 以下の点以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。
 結果を表1に示す。
-実施例1からの変更点-
・溶剤Aとしてのトルエンを、溶剤AとしてのDMF(即ち、N,N-ジメチルホルムアミド)に変更した。
・ポリチオール組成物X及びDMFの混合比は、脱泡処理前の重合性組成物の全量に対するDMFの含有量が、表1に示す仕込み比(質量%)となるように調整した。
・脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対する溶剤AとしてのDMFの含有量の測定では、脱泡処理後の重合性組成物1.0質量部に0.02質量部のアセトンを加え混合し、13C-NMRにより、以下の測定条件で測定した。
-測定条件-
・装置 日本電子製ECX-400P
・観察範囲 31407Hz、
・積算回数 10000回
・測定溶媒 重水素化クロロホルム
・測定方法詳細 … 
濃度既知のアセトンのメチル基のシグナル(CH3,30.7ppm)の積分値と、DMFのメチル基のシグナル(CH3,31.2ppm)の積分値と、を比較し、DMFの含有量を算出した。
〔実施例201及び202〕
 以下の点以外は実施例1と同様の操作を行った。
 結果を表1に示す。
-実施例1からの変更点-
・溶剤Aとしてのトルエンを、溶剤Aとしてのアセトンに変更した。
・ポリチオール組成物X及びアセトンの混合比は、脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対するアセトンの含有量が、表1に示す含有量(質量%)となるように調整した。
・脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対する溶剤Aとしてのアセトンの含有量の測定では、実施例1と同条件にて1H-NMRを実施し、重合性組成物中の濃度既知のバイオソーブ583のtert-ブチル基のシグナル(9H,0.77ppm)の積分値と、アセトンのメチル基のシグナル(6H,2.16ppm)の積分値と、を比較し、アセトンの含有量を算出した。

 表1に示すように、脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対する、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である各実施例では、レンズ中の気泡の発生が抑制された。
 これに対し、脱泡処理後の重合性組成物の全量に対する溶剤Aの含有量が1.70質量%超である比較例1及び比較例101では、レンズ中の気泡の発生を抑制できなかった。
 以上の結果から、
 ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物を準備する工程と、
 重合性組成物中における、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aを測定し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内であるかどうかを確認し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である場合に、重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む決定工程と、
 光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入し、硬化させて、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る工程と、
を含む光学材料の製造方法により、
気泡の発生が抑制された光学材料(レンズ等)を製造できることがわかる。
 更に、実施例1、実施例2、比較例1、実施例201、及び実施例202の結果から、決定工程は、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である場合に、重合性組成物に対して脱泡処理を施すことにより、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整された重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定し、
 決定された光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入し、硬化させて、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る工程と、
を含む光学材料の製造方法により、
気泡の発生が抑制された光学材料(レンズ等)を製造できることもわかる。
 なお、決定工程は、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である場合に、重合性組成物に対して脱泡処理以外の処理を施すことにより、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整し、溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整された重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定してもよい。

Claims (9)

  1.  ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有する重合性組成物を準備する工程と、
     前記重合性組成物中における、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aの含有量を測定し、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内であるかどうかを確認し、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である場合に、前記重合性組成物を、光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む決定工程と、
     前記光学材料用重合性組成物を樹脂成型用型に注入し、硬化させて、樹脂成型体である光学材料を得る工程と、
    を含む、光学材料の製造方法。
  2.  前記決定工程は、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲外である場合に、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整し、前記溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内となるように調整された前記重合性組成物を、前記光学材料用重合性組成物に決定することを含む、
    請求項1に記載の光学材料の製造方法。
  3.  前記溶剤Aが、トルエンである、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の光学材料の製造方法。
  4.  前記ポリチオール組成物は、
    5,7-ジメルカプトメチル-1,11-ジメルカプト-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン、
    4,7-ジメルカプトメチル-1,11-ジメルカプト-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン、
    4,8-ジメルカプトメチル-1,11-ジメルカプト-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン、
    4-メルカプトメチル-1,8-ジメルカプト-3,6-ジチアオクタン、
    ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、
    ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、
    2,5-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-1,4-ジチアン、
    ビス(メルカプトエチル)スルフィド、
    1,1,3,3-テトラキス(メルカプトメチルチオ)プロパン、
    4,6-ビス(メルカプトメチルチオ)-1,3-ジチアン、
    2-(2,2-ビス(メルカプトメチルチオ)エチル)-1,3-ジチエタン、
    1,1,2,2-テトラキス(メルカプトメチルチオ)エタン、
    3-メルカプトメチル-1,5-ジメルカプト-2,4-ジチアペンタン、
    トリス(メルカプトメチルチオ)メタン、及び
    エチレングリコールビス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)
    からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、
    請求項1~請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の光学材料の製造方法。
  5.  前記ポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物は、
    ペンタメチレンジイソシアネート、
    ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、
    キシリレンジイソシアネート、
    イソホロンジイソシアネート、
    ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、
    ビス(イソシアナトシクロヘキシル)メタン、
    2,5-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ビシクロ-[2.2.1]-ヘプタン、
    2,6-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ビシクロ-[2.2.1]-ヘプタン、
    トリレンジイソシアネート、4,4'-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、及び
    フェニレンジイソシアネート
    からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を含む、
    請求項1~請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の光学材料の製造方法。
  6.  前記光学材料が、レンズである、
    請求項1~請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の光学材料の製造方法。
  7.  ポリチオール組成物及びポリイソ(チオ)シアネート化合物を含有し、トルエン、アセトン、及びN,N-ジメチルホルムアミドからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種である溶剤Aの含有量が0.10質量%~1.70質量%の範囲内である、光学材料用重合性組成物。
  8.  前記溶剤Aが、トルエンである、請求項7に記載の光学材料用重合性組成物。
  9.  請求項7又は請求項8に記載の光学材料用重合性組成物の硬化物であり、樹脂成型体である光学材料。
