- a defocus stimulus is given on the retina (Retina) by the defocus area disclosed in Patent Document 4.

- the outer clear area 4 In order to improve the quality of daily life, it is conceivable to design the outer clear area 4 to be large and design the functional area 3 to be correspondingly small. However, if the functional region 3 is designed to be small, naturally, there is a possibility that the effect of suppressing progression of myopia or reducing the effect of hyperopia can be reduced.
- the present inventor paid attention to this point, and found that, as shown in FIG. 1, even the defocus-sensitive area can receive the effect of suppressing the progress of myopia or reducing the effect of hyperopia if the light flux that has passed through the functional area 3 is incident on the defocus-sensitive area.

- the inventors have come up with a configuration in which the retinal non-convergence area 3 a is provided intensively in the functional area 3 of the entire spectacle lens 1 .
- focus sensitive area refers to a range below any one of 5 to 15 degrees of the visual angle of the eyeball (Eccentricity angle), and is the peripheral range of the macula on the retina of the wearer.
- a functional area 3 is provided on the spectacle lens 1 that sets the maximum angle of eyeball rotation and covers the "retina defocus sensitive area" even in the rotated state.
- An outer clear area 4 is provided at a position where the light flux is incident on the range of rotation angles exceeding the one value.
- a hidden mark is always provided on the spectacle lens so that the wearer can determine the position on the spectacle lens through which the line of sight passes when the wearer looks straight ahead. Therefore, it is possible to identify the line of sight of the wearer in the front view from the lens. Therefore, the diameter when the point on the lens through which the line of sight passes in the front view is the center can be expressed by the angle of rotation. Further, the rotation angle of the eye and the corresponding positional relationship on the spectacle lens are described, for example, in Japanese Patent No. 2131365 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2016-26324.
- the spectacle lens If the maximum angle of eyeball rotation is set to any one value of 10 to 20 degrees and the maximum eccentricity angle of the defocus sensitive area is set to any one value of 5 to 15 degrees, the spectacle lens
