Description

評価装置、評価方法及び評価プログラム
 本開示は、評価装置、評価方法及び評価プログラムに関する。
 被験者に人物映像、幾何学模様等の画像を見せた場合における被験者の注視点を検出することにより、自閉スペクトラム症(ASD:Autism Spectrum Disorder)等の発達障がいを評価する手法が提案されている(例えば特許文献1)。
特開2017-99513号公報
 特許文献1に記載の評価技術においては、ASDの被験者特有の特性に対してより精度よく評価することが求められる。
 本開示は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであり、ASDの被験者特有の特性に対する評価の精度を向上させることが可能な評価装置、評価方法及び評価プログラムを提供することを目的とする。
 本開示に係る評価装置は、表示部と、被験者の注視点の位置を検出する注視点検出部と、特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて前記表示部に表示させる表示制御部と、前記対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、前記表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とを前記タスクごとに設定する領域設定部と、検出された前記注視点の位置に基づいて、前記注視点が前記対象物判定領域及び前記全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定する判定部と、前記判定部の判定結果に基づいて、前記注視点が前記タスクごとに前記対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、前記注視点が全ての前記タスクに亘って前記全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する演算部と、前記演算部で算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出した前記スコアに基づいて評価データを求める評価部とを備える。
 本開示に係る評価方法は、被験者の注視点の位置を検出することと、特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部に表示させることと、前記対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、前記表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とを前記タスクごとに設定することと、検出された前記注視点の位置に基づいて、前記注視点が前記対象物判定領域及び前記全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定することと、判定結果に基づいて、前記注視点が前記タスクごとに前記対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、前記注視点が全ての前記タスクに亘って前記全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出することと、算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出した前記スコアが閾値を超えるか否かを示す評価データを求めることとを行う。
 本開示に係る評価プログラムは、被験者の注視点の位置を検出する処理と、特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部に表示させる処理と、前記対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、前記表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とを前記タスクごとに設定する処理と、検出された前記注視点の位置に基づいて、前記注視点が前記対象物判定領域及び前記全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定する処理と、判定結果に基づいて、前記注視点が前記タスクごとに前記対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、前記注視点が全ての前記タスクに亘って前記全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する処理と、算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出した前記スコアに基づいて評価データを求める処理とをコンピュータに実行させる。
 本開示によれば、ASDの被験者特有の特性に対する評価の精度を向上させることができる。

 以下、本開示に係る評価装置、評価方法及び評価プログラムの実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。なお、この実施形態によりこの発明が限定されるものではない。また、下記実施形態における構成要素には、当業者が置換可能かつ容易なもの、あるいは実質的に同一のものが含まれる。
 [評価装置]
 図1は、本実施形態に係る評価装置100の一例を模式的に示す図である。本実施形態に係る評価装置100は、被験者の視線を検出し、検出結果を用いることで自閉スペクトラム症(以下、ASDと表記する)についての評価を行う。評価装置100は、例えば被験者の瞳孔の位置と角膜反射像の位置とに基づいて視線を検出する方法、又は被験者の目頭の位置と虹彩の位置とに基づいて視線を検出する方法等、各種の方法により被験者の視線を検出することができる。
 図1に示すように、評価装置100は、表示装置10と、画像取得装置20と、コンピュータシステム30と、出力装置40と、入力装置50と、入出力インターフェース装置60とを備える。表示装置10、画像取得装置20、コンピュータシステム30、出力装置40及び入力装置50は、入出力インターフェース装置60を介してデータ通信を行う。表示装置10及び画像取得装置20は、それぞれ不図示の駆動回路を有する。
 表示装置10は、液晶ディスプレイ(liquid crystal display:LCD)又は有機ELディスプレイ(organic electroluminescence display:OLED)のようなフラットパネルディスプレイを含む。本実施形態において、表示装置10は、表示部11を有する。表示部11は、画像等の情報を表示する。表示部11は、XY平面と実質的に平行である。XY平面におけるX軸方向は表示部11の左右方向であり、Y軸方向は表示部11の上下方向であり、Z軸方向は表示部11と直交する奥行方向である。表示装置10は、ヘッドマウント型ディスプレイ装置であってもよい。表示装置10がヘッドマウント型ディスプレイ装置である場合、ヘッドマウントモジュール内に画像取得装置20のような構成が配置されることになる。
 画像取得装置20は、被験者の左右の眼球EBの画像データを取得し、取得した画像データをコンピュータシステム30に送信する。画像取得装置20は、撮影装置21を有する。撮影装置21は、被験者の左右の眼球EBを撮影することで画像データを取得する。撮影装置21は、被験者の視線を検出する方法に応じた各種カメラを有する。例えば被験者の瞳孔の位置と角膜反射像の位置とに基づいて視線を検出する方式の場合、撮影装置21は、赤外線カメラを有し、例えば波長850[nm]の近赤外光を透過可能な光学系と、その近赤外光を受光可能な撮像素子とを有する。また、例えば被験者の目頭の位置と虹彩の位置とに基づいて視線を検出する方式の場合、撮影装置21は、可視光カメラを有する。撮影装置21は、フレーム同期信号を出力する。フレーム同期信号の周期は、例えば20[msec]とすることができるが、これに限定されない。撮影装置21は、例えば第1カメラ21A及び第2カメラ21Bを有するステレオカメラの構成とすることができるが、これに限定されない。
 また、例えば被験者の瞳孔の位置と角膜反射像の位置とに基づいて視線を検出する方式の場合、画像取得装置20は、被験者の眼球EBを照明する照明装置22を有する。照明装置22は、LED(light emitting diode)光源を含み、例えば波長850[nm]の近赤外光を射出可能である。なお、例えば被験者の目頭の位置と虹彩の位置とに基づいて視線を検出する方式の場合、照明装置22は設けられなくてもよい。照明装置22は、撮影装置21のフレーム同期信号に同期するように検出光を射出する。照明装置22は、例えば第1光源22A及び第2光源22Bを有する構成とすることができるが、これに限定されない。
 コンピュータシステム30は、評価装置100の動作を統括的に制御する。コンピュータシステム30は、演算処理装置30A及び記憶装置30Bを含む。演算処理装置30Aは、CPU(central processing unit)のようなマイクロプロセッサを含む。記憶装置30Bは、ROM(read only memory)及びRAM(random access memory)のようなメモリ又はストレージを含む。演算処理装置30Aは、記憶装置30Bに記憶されているコンピュータプログラム30Cに従って演算処理を実施する。
 出力装置40は、フラットパネルディスプレイのような表示装置を含む。なお、出力装置40は、印刷装置を含んでもよい。入力装置50は、操作されることにより入力データを生成する。入力装置50は、コンピュータシステム用のキーボード又はマウスを含む。なお、入力装置50が表示装置である出力装置40の表示部に設けられたタッチセンサを含んでもよい。
 本実施形態に係る評価装置100は、表示装置10とコンピュータシステム30とが別々の装置である。なお、表示装置10とコンピュータシステム30とが一体でもよい。例えば評価装置100がタブレット型パーソナルコンピュータを含んでもよい。この場合、当該タブレット型パーソナルコンピュータに、表示装置、画像取得装置、コンピュータシステム、入力装置、出力装置等が搭載されてもよい。
 図2は、評価装置100の一例を示す機能ブロック図である。図2に示すように、コンピュータシステム30は、表示制御部31と、注視点検出部32と、領域設定部33と、判定部34と、演算部35と、評価部36と、入出力制御部37と、記憶部38とを有する。コンピュータシステム30の機能は、演算処理装置30A及び記憶装置30B(図1参照)によって発揮される。なお、コンピュータシステム30は、一部の機能が評価装置100の外部に設けられてもよい。
 表示制御部31は、評価用画像を表示部11に表示する。本実施形態において、評価用画像は、例えば人物、物体等のような特異度を有する対象物(以下、特異度対象物と表記する)と、図形、幾何学模様等のような感度を有する対象物(以下、感度対象物と表記する)の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を含む。単位画像は、静止画及び動画の少なくとも一方を含む。特異度対象物は、ASDである可能性の低い被験者が注視する傾向にある対象物である。このような特異度対象物としては、例えば人物、物体等が挙げられる。感度対象物は、ASDである可能性の高い被験者が注視する傾向にある対象物である。このような感度対象物としては、例えば図形、幾何学模様等が挙げられる。
 評価用画像において、特異度対象物及び感度対象物は、同一の単位画像内に存在してもよいし、異なる単位画像に存在してもよい。表示制御部31は、評価用画像として、1つの単位画像を1つのタスクで表示部11に表示させる。表示制御部31は、予め用意された複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部11に表示させる。表示制御部31は、上記の評価用画像を、例えば評価用動画として表示部11に表示することができるが、表示形態については評価用動画に限定されず、静止画であってもよい。
 注視点検出部32は、被験者の注視点の位置データを検出する。本実施形態において、注視点検出部32は、画像取得装置20によって取得される被験者の左右の眼球EBの画像データに基づいて、三次元グローバル座標系で規定される被験者の視線ベクトルを検出する。注視点検出部32は、検出した被験者の視線ベクトルと表示装置10の表示部11との交点の位置データを、被験者の注視点の位置データとして検出する。つまり、本実施形態において、注視点の位置データは、三次元グローバル座標系で規定される被験者の視線ベクトルと、表示装置10の表示部11との交点の位置データである。注視点検出部32は、規定のサンプリング周期毎に被験者の注視点の位置データを検出する。このサンプリング周期は、例えば撮影装置21から出力されるフレーム同期信号の周期(例えば20[msec]毎)とすることができる。
 領域設定部33は、表示部11において、対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、表示部11の全体に対応した全体判定領域とをタスクごとに設定する。本実施形態において、領域設定部33で設定される各判定領域は、原則として表示部11には表示されない。なお、例えば表示制御部31の制御により、各判定領域が表示部11に表示されるようにしてもよい。対象物判定領域は、全体判定領域に含まれる。
 判定部34は、注視点の位置データに基づいて、注視点が判定領域に存在するか否かをそれぞれ判定し、判定結果を判定データとして出力する。判定部34は、規定の判定周期毎に注視点が判定領域に存在するか否かを判定する。判定周期としては、例えば撮影装置21から出力されるフレーム同期信号の周期(例えば20[msec]毎)とすることができる。つまり、判定部34の判定周期は、注視点検出部32のサンプリング周期と同一である。判定部34は、注視点検出部32で注視点の位置がサンプリングされる毎に当該注視点について判定を行い、判定データを出力する。判定領域が複数設定される場合、判定部34は、注視点が存在するか否かを判定領域毎に判定して判定データを出力することができる。
 演算部35は、判定部34の判定結果に基づいて、対象物注視率及び全体注視率を算出する。対象物注視率は、注視点がタスクごとに対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す。全体注視率は、注視点が全てのタスクに亘って全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す。演算部35は、表示部11に評価用映像が表示されてからの経過時間を検出するタイマと、判定部34により対象物判定領域及び全体判定領域に注視点が存在すると判定された判定回数をカウントするカウンタとを有する。
 演算部35は、判定部34の判定データに基づいて、注視点の存在時間データを算出する。存在時間データは、判定領域に注視点が存在する時間を示すデータである。判定部34により注視点が判定領域に存在すると判定された回数が多いほど、判定領域に注視点が存在した存在時間が長いと推定することができる。したがって、存在時間データは、判定領域に注視点が存在すると判定部34に判定された回数とすることができる。
 演算部35は、例えば、評価用映像の1つのタスクが開始されてから終了するまでの時間と、対象物判定領域における存在時間データとに基づいて、注視点がタスクごとに対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率を算出する。また、演算部35は、例えば、評価用映像の最初のタスクが開始されてから最後のタスクが終了するまでの時間と、全体判定領域における存在時間データとに基づいて、注視点が全てのタスクに亘って全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率を算出する。
 評価部36は、対象物注視率及び全体注視率に基づいて、被験者を評価するためのスコアを算出する。評価部36は、算出したスコアに基づいて被験者の評価データを求める。評価部36は、スコアを求める際、対象物注視率よりも全体注視率の重みづけを重くしてスコアを算出してもよい。また、評価部36は、記憶部38に記憶される後述の参照データと、演算部35で算出された対象物注視率及び全体注視率との相関の強さを示す相関係数を算出し、算出した相関係数に基づいて対象物注視率及び全体注視率に重みづけを設定してスコアを算出してもよい。
 入出力制御部37は、画像取得装置20及び入力装置50の少なくとも一方からのデータ(眼球EBの画像データ、入力データ等)を取得する。また、入出力制御部37は、表示装置10及び出力装置40の少なくとも一方にデータを出力する。入出力制御部37は、被験者に対する課題をスピーカ等の出力装置40から出力してもよい。
 記憶部38は、上記の判定データ、存在時間データ、対象物注視率及び全体注視率の参照データ、及び評価データ等の各データを記憶する。ここで、対象物注視率及び全体注視率の参照データは、ASDと診断された被験者についての対象物注視率及び全体注視率の算出結果と、ASDではないと診断された被験者についての対象物注視率及び全体注視率の算出結果とを含むデータである。
 また、記憶部38は、被験者の注視点の位置を検出する処理と、特異度領域及び感度領域の少なくとも一方に対応する対象物を含む複数の異なる画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部に表示させる処理と、対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とをタスクごとに設定する処理と、検出された注視点の位置に基づいて、注視点が対象物判定領域及び全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかをタスクごとに判定する処理と、判定部の判定結果に基づいて、注視点がタスクごとに対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、注視点が全てのタスクに亘って全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する処理と、演算部で算出された対象物注視率及び全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出したスコアに基づいて評価データを求める処理とをコンピュータに実行させる評価プログラムを記憶する。
 [評価方法]
 次に、本実施形態に係る評価方法について説明する。本実施形態に係る評価方法では、上記の評価装置100を用いることにより、被験者の評価データが所定の閾値を超えるか否かについて評価する。
 図3は、表示部11に表示する単位画像の一例を示す図である。図3に示すように、表示制御部31は、特異度対象物M1及び感度対象物M2の少なくとも一方を含む単位画像IMを1つのタスクにおいて表示部11に表示する。図3に示す例において、特異度対象物M1は、例えば人物であり、感度対象物M2は、例えば図形である。表示制御部31は、タスクごとに異なる単位画像IMを表示部11に表示する。図3では、最初のタスクで表示する単位画像IMを単位画像IM1として表記し、k番目のタスクで表示する単位画像を単位画像IMkとして表記している。表示制御部31は、単位画像IMとして、特異度対象物M1及び感度対象物M2のいずれか一方のみを含む画像を表示部11に表示させてもよい。この場合、被験者の興味を分散させないようにすることができる。
 領域設定部33は、特異度対象物M1及び感度対象物M2に対応した対象物判定領域A1、A2を設定する。領域設定部33は、互いに重ならない範囲に対象物判定領域A1、A2を設定する。対象物判定領域A1、A2は、表示部11には表示されない。また、領域設定部33は、表示部11の全体に対応する全体判定領域A3を設定する。対象物判定領域A1、A2は、全体判定領域A3の一部であり、全体判定領域A3に含まれる。
 領域設定部33は、対象物判定領域A1、A2を設定する場合、1つのタスクにおいて2領域以内とすることができる。例えば、1つのタスクで表示される1つの単位画像IMに特異度対象物M1と感度対象物M2とが含まれる場合、特異度対象物M1について1領域、感度対象物M2について1領域、として設定することができる。領域設定部33は、例えば特異度対象物M1、感度対象物M2が1つの単位画像IMに複数含まれる場合、複数の特異度対象物M1についてまとめて1領域、複数の感度対象物M2についてまとめて1領域、というように設定することができる。対象物判定領域A1、A2の形状は、例えば、矩形、円形、楕円形、多角形などであってもよく、限定されない。複数の対象物判定領域A1、A2の大きさは、異なってもよい。
 一般的に、ASDである可能性の高い被験者は、ASDである可能性の低い被験者に比べて、人物、動物、植物等の特異度対象物よりも、図形、幾何学模様等の感度対象物への興味(こだわり)が強い傾向にある。このことに加えて、本発明者は、ASDである可能性の高い被験者が、ASDである可能性の低い被験者に比べて、全タスクを通じて表示部11を注視する割合が低い傾向にあることを見出した。そこで、本実施形態では、被験者に対して表示部11の評価用映像を見るように指示した後、被験者の注視点を検出し、検出結果に基づいて評価データを求めることで評価を行うものである。
 まず、表示制御部31は、評価用画像を表示部11に表示する。評価用画像には、複数のタスクが時系列順に含まれる。1つのタスクにおいて、1つの単位画像IMが表示部11に表示される。なお、表示制御部31は、1つのタスクの最初に、注視点を所望の位置に移動させるためのアイキャッチ映像を表示部11に表示させてもよい。また、領域設定部33は、評価用画像の単位画像IMが表示された状態で、特異度対象物M1に対応する対象物判定領域A1と、感度対象物M2に対応する対象物判定領域A2と、表示部11の全体に対応する全体判定領域A3とを設定する。
 表示制御部31は、1つのタスクが終了した後、次のタスクにおいて、他の単位画像を表示部11に表示させる。領域設定部33は、他の単位画像が表示された状態で、対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3を設定する。このように、表示制御部31によりタスクごとに異なる単位画像が表示部11に表示される。また、領域設定部33によりタスクごとに単位画像に対応する対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3が設定される。なお、表示制御部31は、対象物注視率の検出に用いない単位画像を表示部11に表示させるタスクを設定してもよい。
 注視点検出部32は、評価用画像が表示される期間において、規定のサンプリング周期(例えば20[msec])毎に、被験者の注視点の位置を検出する。被験者の注視点の位置が検出された場合、判定部34は、被験者の注視点が対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3に存在するかを判定し、判定データを出力する。したがって、判定部34は、注視点検出部32で注視点の位置がサンプリングされる毎に、上記のサンプリング周期と同一の判定周期毎に判定データを出力する。
 演算部35は、判定データに基づいて、被験者の注視点データを算出する。演算部35は、注視点データとして、存在時間データを算出する。存在時間データは、被験者の注視点が対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3に存在した存在時間を示す。本実施形態では、判定部34により注視点が対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3に存在すると判定された回数が多いほど、対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3に注視点が存在した存在時間が長いと推定することができる。したがって、存在時間データは、対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3に注視点が存在すると判定部34に判定された回数とすることができる。
 演算部35は、1つのタスクについて算出した対象物判定領域A1及び対象物判定領域A2の存在時間データと、当該1つのタスクの開始から終了までの時間とに基づいて、特異度対象物M1についての対象物注視率と、感度対象物M2についての対象物注視率を算出する。演算部35は、タスクごとに対象物注視率を算出する。演算部35は、1つのタスクにおいて、例えばタスクの最初の1秒間、最初の2秒間、タスクの全時間の3種類の期間について、対象物注視率を算出する。演算部35は、算出した3種類の対象物注視率のうち、後述する参照データとの相関が認められる値を使用することができる。また、表示制御部31によりタスクの最初にアイキャッチ画像が表示される場合、当該アイキャッチ画像が表示される期間については対象物注視率を算出するための時間範囲から除外することができる。例えば、タスクの最初の0.3秒間がアイキャッチ画像の表示期間である場合、演算部35は、タスクの最初から0.3秒後を起点として対象物注視率を算出することができる。
 また、演算部35は、それぞれのタスクにおいて算出された全体判定領域A3の存在時間データと、最初のタスクの開始から最後のタスクの終了までの時間とに基づいて、表示部11の全体における全体注視率を算出する。
 評価部36は、算出した対象物注視率及び全体注視率に基づいて評価値を求め、評価値に基づいて評価データを求める。本実施形態において、特異度対象物M1についての対象物注視率をR1、感度対象物M2についての対象物注視率をR2、全体注視率をR3、とすると、評価スコアTSは、
 TS=Σ(ΣC1k,m・R1k,m+ΣC2k,n・R2k,n)+C3・R3
 とすることができる。ただし、C1は特異度対象物M1についての対象物注視率R1の重みを示す係数であり、C2は感度対象物M2についての対象物注視率R2の重みを示す係数であり、C3は全体注視率R3の重みを示す係数である。kはタスクの番号を示す。mはタスク内の特異度領域の番号を示す。nはタスク内の感度領域の番号を示す。
 ASDである可能性の低い被験者は、ASDである可能性の高い被験者に比べて、特異度対象物M1の対象物注視率R1が高く、感度対象物M2の対象物注視率R2が低い傾向にある。すなわち、ASDである可能性の低い被験者は、特異度を示す値が高く、感度を示す値が低い傾向にある。一方、ASDである可能性の高い被験者は、ASDである可能性の低い被験者に比べて、感度対象物M2の対象物注視率R2が高く、特異度対象物M1の対象物注視率R1が低い傾向にある。すなわち、ASDである可能性の高い被験者は、感度を示す値が高く、特異度を示す値が低い傾向にある。
 ASDである可能性の低い被験者は、ASDである可能性の高い被験者に比べて、全体注視率R3が高い傾向にある。一方、ASDである可能性の高い被験者は、ASDである可能性の低い被験者に比べて、全体注視率R3が低い傾向にある。この結果から、全体注視率R3は、特異度の傾向を示す値として用いることができる。
 評価部36は、対象物注視率R1、R2よりも全体注視率R3の重みづけが重くなるようにC1、C2、C3の値を設定することができる。また、評価部36は、記憶部38に記憶される参照データと、演算部35で算出された対象物注視率R1、R2との相関の強さを示す相関係数を算出し、算出した相関係数に基づいてC1、C2の値を設定することができる。
 本実施形態において、参照データは、例えば、ASDである可能性が低いと診断された被験者と、ASDである可能性が高いと診断された被験者とに対して評価用画像に含まれる各単位画像を注視させ、対象物注視率及び全体注視率を予め算出したデータである。評価部36は、参照データのうちASDである可能性が低いと診断された被験者の対象物注視率を示す参照値を0、ASDである可能性が高いと診断された被験者の対象物注視率を示す参照値を1として、当該参照値と、評価対象となる被験者の対象物注視率の算出値とに基づいて相関係数を算出することができる。なお、参照値としては、複数の被験者の対象物注視率の平均値等を用いることができる。評価部36は、例えば相関係数が0.25未満となる場合には、該当するC1、C2の係数を0とすることができる。また、評価部36は、例えば相関係数が0.25以上となる場合には、該当するC1、C2の係数を1とすることができる。係数C1、C2の設定手法については、上記に限定されず、例えば相関係数の値をC1、C2の係数の値としてもよい。
 評価部36は、例えば特異度の強さを示す対象物注視率R1の係数C1及び全体注視率R3の係数C3を負の値とし、感度の強さを示す対象物注視率R2の係数C2を正の値とするなど、係数C1、C3と、係数C2との間で符号の異なる重みづけを設定することができる。この場合、評価スコアTSが小さいほど特異度が強く、評価スコアTSが大きいほど感度が強いことを示す。評価部36は、例えば評価スコアTSに閾値を設定し、評価スコアTSが閾値を下回る場合に特異度が強いと評価し、評価スコアTSが閾値以上となる場合に感度が強いと評価することができる。
 本実施形態において、評価部36が評価データを出力した場合、入出力制御部37は、評価データに応じて、例えば「被験者は特異度が強いと思われます」の文字データや、「被験者は感度が強いと思われます」の文字データ等を出力装置40に出力させることができる。
 次に、本実施形態に係る評価方法の一例について、図4を参照しながら説明する。図4は、本実施形態に係る評価方法の一例を示すフローチャートである。本実施形態に係る評価方法において、図4に示すように、まず表示制御部31は、表示部11に評価用画像として最初のタスクに係る単位画像IMを表示する(ステップS101)。領域設定部33は、単位画像IMのうち特異度対象物M1及び感度対象物M2に対応する対象物判定領域A1、A2と、表示部11の全体に対応する全体判定領域A3と、を設定する(ステップS102)。
 その後、注視点検出部32は、所定のサンプリング周期で注視点の位置をサンプリングし、注視点の位置を検出する(ステップS103)。判定部34は、注視点検出部32で注視点の位置がサンプリングされる毎に、当該注視点の位置に基づいて注視点が対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3に存在するか否かをそれぞれ判定し、判定データを出力する(ステップS104)。演算部35は、判定データに基づいて、対象物判定領域A1、A2及び全体判定領域A3における存在時間を算出する(ステップS105)。演算部35は、当該タスクにおける表示時間が終了したか否かを判定する(ステップS106)。表示時間が終了していないと判定された場合(ステップS106のNo)、ステップS103以降の処理を繰り返し行う。
 表示時間が終了したと判定された場合(ステップS106のYes)、表示制御部31は、全てのタスクが終了したか否かを判定する(ステップS107)。全てのタスクが終了していないと判定した場合(ステップS107のNo)、表示制御部31は、次のタスクに係る単位画像IMを表示部11に表示させ(ステップS108)、ステップS102以降の処理を繰り返し行わせる。
 全てのタスクが終了したと判定した場合(ステップS107のYes)、演算部35は、演算結果に基づいて対象物注視率及び全体注視率を算出する(ステップS109)。評価部36は、演算部35の算出結果に基づいて評価スコアを算出し(ステップS110)、算出した評価スコアに基づいて評価データを算出して(ステップS111)、処理を終了する。
 以上のように、本実施形態に係る評価装置100は、表示部11と、被験者の注視点の位置を検出する注視点検出部32と、特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部11に表示させる表示制御部31と、対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、表示部11の全体に対応した全体判定領域とをタスクごとに設定する領域設定部33と、検出された注視点の位置に基づいて、注視点が対象物判定領域及び全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定する判定部34と、判定部34の判定結果に基づいて、注視点がタスクごとに対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、注視点が全てのタスクに亘って全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する演算部35と、演算部35で算出された対象物注視率及び全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出したスコアに基づいて評価データを求める評価部36とを備える。
 本実施形態に係る評価方法は、被験者の注視点の位置を検出することと、特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部11に表示させることと、対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、表示部11の全体に対応した全体判定領域とをタスクごとに設定することと、検出された注視点の位置に基づいて、注視点が対象物判定領域及び全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定することと、判定結果に基づいて、注視点がタスクごとに対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、注視点が全てのタスクに亘って全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出することと、算出された対象物注視率及び全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出したスコアが閾値を超えるか否かを示す評価データを求めることとを行う。
 本実施形態に係る評価プログラムは、被験者の注視点の位置を検出する処理と、特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部11に表示させる処理と、対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、表示部11の全体に対応した全体判定領域とをタスクごとに設定する処理と、検出された注視点の位置に基づいて、注視点が対象物判定領域及び全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定する処理と、判定結果に基づいて、注視点がタスクごとに対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、注視点が全てのタスクに亘って全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する処理と、算出された対象物注視率及び全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出したスコアに基づいて評価データを求める処理とをコンピュータに実行させる。
 この構成では、対象物注視率を算出することにより、被験者の特異度及び感度のいずれの特性を強く示すかの傾向を評価することができる。また、本発明者は、ASDである可能性の高い被験者が、ASDである可能性の低い被験者に比べて、全タスクを通じて表示部11を注視する割合が低い傾向にあることを見出した。そこで、本実施形態では、対象物注視率に加えて被験者の全体注視率を算出することにより、ASDの被験者特有の特性に対する評価の精度を向上させることができる。
 本実施形態に係る評価装置100において、評価部36は、対象物注視率よりも全体注視率の重みづけを重くしてスコアを算出する。この構成によれば、被験者の全体注視率の評価をより強く反映させることができる。したがって、ASDの被験者特有の特性をより高精度に評価することができる。
 本実施形態に係る評価装置100において、対象物注視率及び全体注視率の参照データを記憶する記憶部38を更に備え、評価部36は、記憶部38に記憶される参照データと、演算部で算出された対象物注視率及び全体注視率との相関の強さを示す相関係数を算出し、算出した相関係数に基づいて対象物注視率及び全体注視率に重みづけを設定してスコアを算出する。この構成によれば、参照データに基づいて対象物注視率及び全体注視率に重みづけを設定するため、ASDの被験者特有の特性をより高精度に評価することができる。
 本開示の技術範囲は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本開示の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で適宜変更を加えることができる。
 本開示は、SDGsの「すべての人に健康と福祉を」の実現に貢献し、ヘルスケア製品・サービスによる価値創出に寄与する事項を含む。
 本開示に係る評価装置、評価方法及び評価プログラムは、例えばコンピュータ等の処理装置等に利用することができる。

Claims (5)

  1.  表示部と、
     被験者の注視点の位置を検出する注視点検出部と、
     特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて前記表示部に表示させる表示制御部と、
     前記対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、前記表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とを前記タスクごとに設定する領域設定部と、
     検出された前記注視点の位置に基づいて、前記注視点が前記対象物判定領域及び前記全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定する判定部と、
     前記判定部の判定結果に基づいて、前記注視点が前記タスクごとに前記対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、前記注視点が全ての前記タスクに亘って前記全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する演算部と、
     前記演算部で算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出した前記スコアに基づいて評価データを求める評価部と
     を備える評価装置。
  2.  前記評価部は、前記対象物注視率よりも前記全体注視率の重みづけを重くして前記スコアを算出する
     請求項1に記載の評価装置。
  3.  前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率の参照データを記憶する記憶部を更に備え、
     前記評価部は、前記記憶部に記憶される前記参照データと、前記演算部で算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率との相関の強さを示す相関係数を算出し、算出した前記相関係数に基づいて前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に重みづけを設定して前記スコアを算出する
     請求項1又は請求項2に記載の評価装置。
  4.  被験者の注視点の位置を検出することと、
     特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部に表示させることと、
     前記対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、前記表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とを前記タスクごとに設定することと、
     検出された前記注視点の位置に基づいて、前記注視点が前記対象物判定領域及び前記全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定することと、
     判定結果に基づいて、前記注視点が前記タスクごとに前記対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、前記注視点が全ての前記タスクに亘って前記全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出することと、
     算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出した前記スコアが閾値を超えるか否かを示す評価データを求めることと
     を行う評価方法。
  5.  被験者の注視点の位置を検出する処理と、
     特異度を有する対象物及び感度を有する対象物の少なくとも一方を含む複数の単位画像を異なるタスクにおいて表示部に表示させる処理と、
     前記対象物それぞれに対応した対象物判定領域と、前記表示部の全体に対応した全体判定領域とを前記タスクごとに設定する処理と、
     検出された前記注視点の位置に基づいて、前記注視点が前記対象物判定領域及び前記全体判定領域のそれぞれに存在するかを判定する処理と、
     判定結果に基づいて、前記注視点が前記タスクごとに前記対象物判定領域に存在する割合を示す対象物注視率と、前記注視点が全ての前記タスクに亘って前記全体判定領域に存在する割合を示す全体注視率とを算出する処理と、
     算出された前記対象物注視率及び前記全体注視率に基づくスコアを算出し、算出した前記スコアに基づいて評価データを求める処理と
     をコンピュータに実行させる評価プログラム。
