図5Aにおいて、符号W12は、第1誘導構造31が延びる方向に直交する方向における第1誘導構造31の寸法を表す。寸法W12は、符号W1と同様に、第1誘導構造31がベース面21Bに接する位置で測定される。第1高さH1に対する寸法W12の比率であるW12/H1としては、上述のW1/H1の数値範囲を採用できる。
例えば、第2誘導構造32の凸部は、第2高さH2を有していてもよい。第2高さH2は、上述の第1高さH1と同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。第2高さH2の数値範囲としては、上述の第1高さH1の数値範囲を採用できる。
例えば、第2誘導構造32は、面第1方向E1において寸法W2を有していてもよい。寸法W2は、第2高さH2との関係で定められていてもよい。第2高さH2に対する寸法W2の比率であるW2/H2の数値範囲としては、上述のW1/H1の数値範囲を採用できる。

例えば、まず、型を準備する。続いて、流動性を有する原料を型に流し込む。原料は、樹脂を含んでもよい。原料は、樹脂及び溶媒を含んでもよい。続いて、型において原料を固化させる。例えば、原料を加熱することにより、溶媒を蒸発させる。これにより、構造体20が型の内部に形成される。その後、型から構造体20を取り出す。これにより、第1基材41と一体的な攪乱構造30が得られる。
図10は、第1の変形例における構造体20を示す断面図である。図10に示すように、攪乱構造30は、構造体20の厚み方向においてベース面21Bに対して凹んでいてもよい。このような攪乱構造30を、凹部とも称する。凹部を用いることにより、構造体20に起因する摩擦抵抗の増加を抑制できる。また、凸部を用いる場合に比べて、攪乱構造30が損傷することを抑制できる。
図11Aは、第2の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。図11Aに示すように、第1誘導構造31と第2誘導構造32とを接続する接続部分33は、第2方向D2に延びていてもよい。接続部分33は、面第2方向E2において寸法K3を有する。上述の幅S21に対する寸法K3の比率であるK3/S21は、例えば0.20以上であり、0.30以上であってもよく、0.40以上であってもよい。
図11Bは、第3の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。本変形例の接続部分33も、図11Aに示す例の場合と同様に、第2方向D2に延びている。
図12は、第4の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。図12に示すように、第1誘導構造31は、第1端部分311に近づくにつれて幅が増加する部分を含んでいてもよい。例えば、第1誘導構造31は、第1上流面313と第1下流面314との間の距離が第1端部分311に近づくにつれて増加する部分を含んでいてもよい。第2誘導構造32も同様に、第2上流面323と第2下流面324との間の距離が第2端部分321に近づくにつれて増加する部分を含んでいてもよい。
図13は、第5の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。図13に示すように、第1誘導構造31は、第1端部分311に近づくにつれて幅が減少する部分を含んでいてもよい。例えば、第1誘導構造31は、第1上流面313と第1下流面314との間の距離が第1端部分311に近づくにつれて減少する部分を含んでいてもよい。第2誘導構造32も同様に、第2上流面323と第2下流面324との間の距離が第2端部分321に近づくにつれて減少する部分を含んでいてもよい。
図14Aは、第6の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。図14Aに示すように、攪乱構造30は、平面視において湾曲した形状を有していてもよい。例えば、攪乱構造30は、平面視において上流側に凸となるよう湾曲した形状を有していてもよい。この場合、第1誘導構造31の第1傾斜角度φ1は、寸法Kを有する第1端部分311の各位置における、面第1方向E1に対する傾斜角度の平均値として算出される。具体的には、面第1方向E1において10等分された第1端部分311の各位置において傾斜角度が測定される。同様に、第2誘導構造32の第2傾斜角度φ2は、寸法Kを有する第2端部分321の各位置における、面第1方向E1に対する傾斜角度の平均値として算出される。
図14Bは、第7の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。図14Aに示す例の場合と同様に、攪乱構造30は、平面視において湾曲した形状を有していてもよい。更に、第1誘導構造31は、図13に示す例の場合と同様に、第1上流面313と第1下流面314との間の距離が第1端部分311に近づくにつれて減少する部分を含んでいてもよい。第2誘導構造32も同様に、第2上流面323と第2下流面324との間の距離が第2端部分321に近づくにつれて減少する部分を含んでいてもよい。
図15Aは、第8の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。本変形例の攪乱構造30も、図14A及び図14Bに示す例の場合と同様に、平面視において上流側に凸となるよう湾曲した形状を有する。
図15Bは、第9の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。本変形例の攪乱構造30も、図14A及び図14Bに示す例の場合と同様に、平面視において上流側に凸となるよう湾曲した形状を有する。
図16は、第10の変形例における攪乱構造30を示す平面図である。図16に示すように、第1誘導構造31と第2誘導構造32とは接続されていなくてもよい。すなわち、攪乱構造30は、面第2方向E2において第1誘導構造31と第2誘導構造32との間に位置する隙間34を含んでいてもよい。符号312は、面第2方向E2において第2誘導構造32に向かい合う第1誘導構造31の端部分(第3端部分とも称する)を表す。符号322は、面第2方向E2において第1誘導構造31に向かい合う第2誘導構造32の端部分(第4端部分とも称する)を表す。
図17は、第11の変形例における構造体20を示す平面図である。図17に示すように、構造体20は、第1誘導構造31を含むが、第2誘導構造32を含んでいなくてもよい。例えば、面第2方向E2に対して第1傾斜角度φ1で延びる第1誘導構造31の第1端部分311が、第1の平滑部26に接し、第1誘導構造31の第3端部分312が、第2の平滑部26に接していてもよい。本変形例においても、摩擦部25と第1の平滑部26との間の境界における渦の生成が促進される。このため、物体10が流体Fから受ける圧力抵抗を低減できる。
図18は、物体10の一変形例を示す平面図である。図18に示すように、構造体20は、物体10の前面11に取り付けられていてもよい。これにより、物体10の前方において流体Fの剥離が生じることを抑制できる。
上述の実施の形態においては、構造体20が、物体10に取り付けられる例を示した。しかしながら、構造体20と物体10との関係は特には限定されない。例えば図19に示すように、構造体20は、物体10の流通時に物体10に備えられている構成要素であってもよい。例えば、構造体20は、物体10の一部を構成する部品であってもよい。例えば、物体10が車である場合、構造体20は、ドアバイザーなどの、物体10を構成する1つの部品であってもよい。言い換えると、物体10を構成する1つの部品が、摩擦部25、平滑部26などの、構造体20の特徴を備えていてもよい。この場合、構造体20は、例えば、樹脂を射出成形することによって作製される成形物であってもよい。
上述の実施の形態においては、構造体20を備える物体10が、自らが移動可能な移動体である例を示した。しかしながら、物体10が流体Fに接する限りにおいて、物体10は特には限られない。例えば、物体10は、自らは移動しないが、流体Fの流れを制御する固定物であってもよい。
次に、本開示の形態を実施例により更に具体的に説明するが、本開示の形態はその要旨を超えない限り、以下の実施例の記載に限定されるものではない。
構造体20が取り付けられた物体10に気流を衝突させる風洞実験により、構造体20の効果を検証した。具体的には、直方体形状を有する物体の、上面13及び側面14の上流側の部分に構造体20を貼り付けた状態で、物体10に気流を衝突させた。物体の寸法は、気流の流れ方向における長さ1250mm、幅260mm、高さ387mmである。

構造体20を物体10に取り付けなかったこと以外は、実施例A11の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図21~図23に示す。
第1誘導構造31の凸部の高さH1、凸部の幅W12、間隔G12を図24に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例A12の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。図24には示されていないが、第2誘導構造32の凸部の第2高さH2、凸部の幅W22、間隔G22は、第1誘導構造31の凸部の高さH1、凸部の幅W12、間隔G12と同一である。測定結果を図24及び図25に示す。
第1誘導構造31の凸部の高さH1、凸部の幅W12、間隔G12を図24に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例A12の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。図24には示されていないが、第2誘導構造32の凸部の第2高さH2、凸部の幅W22、間隔G22は、第1誘導構造31の凸部の高さH1、凸部の幅W12、間隔G12と同一である。測定結果を図24及び図26に示す。

例えば、まず、型を準備する。続いて、流動性を有する原料を型に流し込む。原料は、樹脂を含んでもよい。原料は、樹脂及び溶媒を含んでもよい。続いて、型において原料を固化させる。例えば、原料を加熱することにより、溶媒を蒸発させる。これにより、構造体20が型の内部に形成される。その後、型から構造体20を取り出す。これにより、第1基材41と一体的な攪乱構造30が得られる。
図36は、第1の変形例における構造体20を示す断面図である。図36に示すように、攪乱構造30は、構造体20の厚み方向においてベース面21Bに対して凹んでいてもよい。このような攪乱構造30を、凹部302とも称する。凹部302を用いることにより、構造体20に起因する摩擦抵抗の増加を抑制できる。また、凸部301を用いる場合に比べて、攪乱構造30が損傷することを抑制できる。
図37Aは、第2の変形例における構造体20を示す平面図である。図37Aに示すように、1つの摩擦部25は、面第2方向E2に並ぶ複数の攪乱構造30を含んでいてもよい。面第2方向E2に並ぶ2つの攪乱構造30の間の間隔Uは、例えば5.0mm以下であってもよく、3.0mm以下であってもよく、1.0mm以下であってもよく、0.5mm以下であってもよく、0.1mm以下であってもよい。攪乱構造30は、例えば凸部301である。図37Aに示す例によれば、面第2方向E2に並ぶ2つの攪乱構造30の間を、ゴミなどの異物が通過できる。このため、摩擦部25に異物が溜まることを抑制できる。
攪乱構造30は、凹部302であってもよい。
図38Aは、第3の変形例における構造体20を示す平面図である。摩擦部25及び平滑部26は、算術平均高さ及び最大高さに基づいて区別されてもよい。摩擦部25は、第1算術平均高さSa1及び第1最大高さSz1を有する。平滑部26は、第2算術平均高さSa2及び第2最大高さSz2を有する。算術平均高さ及び最大高さは、ISO25178に準拠したレーザー顕微鏡によって測定される。
図39は、第4の変形例における構造体20を示す平面図である。図39に示すように、平滑部26は、面第1方向E1に延びる整流構造35を含んでいてもよい。整流構造35は、流体Fが面第1方向E1に沿って流れるように、流体Fを整流する。整流構造35は、例えば、面第1方向E1に沿って延びる溝である。整流構造35を設けることにより、平滑部26が流体Fに及ぼす抵抗を低減できる。1つの平滑部26は、図39に示すように、面第2方向E2に並ぶ複数の整流構造35を含んでいてもよい。
図40Aは、第5の変形例における構造体20を示す平面図である。構造体20は、摩擦部25を備えるが、平滑部26を備えていなくてもよい。例えば図40Aに示すように、摩擦部25は、面第2方向E2において、構造体20の全域にわたって広がっていてもよい。
図44は、物体10の一変形例を示す平面図である。図44に示すように、構造体20は、後面12と側面14との間に位置する湾曲部15に取り付けられていてもよい。これにより、後方の湾曲部15において流体Fの剥離が生じることを抑制できる。例えば、構造体20が設けられていない場合に比べて、剥離点がより下流側に位置するようになる。剥離点とは、物体10からの流体Fの剥離が生じる位置である。
図45は、物体10の一変形例を示す平面図である。構造体20は、上面13に隣接する湾曲部15に取り付けられていてもよい。例えば図45に示すように、構造体20は、後面12と上面13との間に位置する湾曲部15に取り付けられていてもよい。これにより、上面13に隣接する湾曲部15において流体Fの剥離が生じることを抑制できる。
上述の実施の形態においては、構造体20が、物体10の湾曲部15に取り付けられる例を示した。しかしながら、構造体20と物体10との関係は特には限定されない。例えば図46に示すように、構造体20は、物体10の流通時に物体10に備えられている構成要素であってもよい。例えば、構造体20は、物体10の湾曲部15を構成する部品であってもよい。例えば、物体10が車である場合、構造体20は、ドアバイザーなどの、物体10を構成する1つの部品であってもよい。言い換えると、物体10を構成する1つの部品が、湾曲面211、摩擦部25、平滑部26などの、構造体20の特徴を備えていてもよい。この場合、構造体20は、例えば、樹脂を射出成形することによって作製される成形物であってもよい。
上述の実施の形態及び変形例においては、構造体20を備える物体10が、バスのような大型の車両である例を示した。しかしながら、物体10が流体Fに接する限りにおいて、物体10のサイズは特には限られない。例えば図47及び図48に示すように、物体10は、乗用車であってもよい。図47及び図48は、構造体20を備える乗用車の一例を示す側面図及び斜視図である。
図49は、第10の変形例に係る物体10を示す斜視図である。乗用車からなる物体10は、後部の側面14に位置する湾曲部15を含んでいてもよい。湾曲部15は、例えば、上面13に隣接する側面14の一部に形成されていてもよい。この場合、物体10は、後部の側面14の湾曲部15に位置する構造体20を備えていてもよい。
湾曲部15に位置する構造体20は、上述の第1の実施の形態又はその変形例に記載の構造体20の特徴を有していてもよい。言い換えると、上述の第1の実施の形態又はその変形例に記載の構造体20が、湾曲部15に取り付けられていてもよい。若しくは、上述の第1の実施の形態又はその変形例に記載の構造体20が、物体10の湾曲部15を構成する部品であってもよい。
上述の実施の形態においては、構造体20を備える物体10が、自らが移動可能な移動体である例を示した。しかしながら、物体10が流体Fに接する限りにおいて、物体10は特には限られない。例えば、物体10は、自らは移動しないが、流体Fの流れを制御する固定物であってもよい。
次に、本開示の形態を実施例により更に具体的に説明するが、本開示の形態はその要旨を超えない限り、以下の実施例の記載に限定されるものではない。
構造体20が取り付けられた物体10に気流を衝突させる風洞実験により、構造体20の効果を検証した。物体10としては、10トントラックの1/10サイズの模型を用いた。物体10は、前面11と上面13との間に位置する湾曲部15を含む。湾曲部15の曲率半径は、25mmである。気流の一部は、前面11に衝突した後、上面13に沿って後方へ流れる。気流の一部が前面11から上面13に至る間に、気流の一部が湾曲部15に沿って流れる。
・摩擦部25の長さS1:210mm
・平滑部26の長さ:210mm
・摩擦部25の幅S21:7mm
・平滑部26の幅S22:7mm
・摩擦部25の凸部301の高さH1:0.08mm
・摩擦部25の凸部301の寸法W:0.08mm
・2つの凸部301の間の間隔G:0.56mm
凸部301の高さH1、寸法W、間隔Gを下記のとおり変更したこと以外は、実施例B1の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図50及び図51に示す。
・摩擦部25の凸部301の高さH1:0.16mm
・摩擦部25の凸部301の寸法W:0.16mm
・2つの凸部301の間の間隔G:1.12mm
凸部301の高さH1、寸法W、間隔Gを下記のとおり変更したこと以外は、実施例B1の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図50及び図51に示す。
・摩擦部25の凸部301の高さH1:0.28mm
・摩擦部25の凸部301の寸法W:0.28mm
・2つの凸部301の間の間隔G:1.96mm
構造体20を物体10の湾曲部15に取り付けなかったこと以外は、実施例B1の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図50及び図51に示す。
構造体20が取り付けられた物体10に気流を衝突させる風洞実験により、構造体20の効果を検証した。物体10としては、10トントラックの1/10サイズの模型を用いた。具体的には、物体10は、1250mmの長さ、260mmの幅、及び387mmの高さを有する。物体10は、前面11と上面13との間に位置する1つの湾曲部15、及び、前面11と2つの側面14との間に位置する2つの湾曲部を含む。湾曲部15の曲率半径は、25mmである。構造体20は、3つの湾曲部15のそれぞれに取り付けられている。
・摩擦部25の長さS1:210mm
・摩擦部25の幅S21:7mm
・平滑部26の幅S22:7mm
・摩擦部25の攪乱構造30の形状:面第1方向E1に直交する方向に延びる凸部
・凸部301の高さH1:0.02mm
・凸部301の寸法W:0.02mm
・2つの凸部301の間の間隔G:0.14mm
凸部301の高さH1、寸法W、間隔Gを図52に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例B11の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図52及び図53に示す。
構造体20を物体10の湾曲部15に取り付けなかったこと以外は、実施例B11の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図52及び図53に示す。
摩擦部25の長さS1を図54に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例B13の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図54及び図55に示す。
物体10として、図49に示す乗用車の模型を用いて、風洞実験を実施した。物体10は、後面12と上面13との間に位置する1つの湾曲部15、及び、後面12と2つの側面14との間に位置する2つの湾曲部を含む。構造体20は、3つの湾曲部15のそれぞれに取り付けられている。
・構造体20の長さ:840mm
・摩擦部25の幅S21:20mm
・平滑部26の幅S22:20mm
・摩擦部25の攪乱構造30の形状:面第1方向E1に直交する方向に延びる凸部
・凸部301の高さH1:0.10mm
・凸部301の寸法W:0.10mm
・2つの凸部301の間の間隔G:0.70mm
平滑部26のみからなる構造体20を用いたこと以外は、実施例B31の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図56及び図57に示す。
構造体20を物体10の湾曲部15に取り付けなかったこと以外は、実施例B31の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図56及び図57に示す。
摩擦部25を含むが、平滑部26を含まない構造体20を用いたこと以外は、実施例B11の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図58に示す。図58の「凸部の方向」の行において、「E2」は、図40に示すように、凸部が、面第1方向E1に直交する面第2方向E2に延びていたことを意味する。図58の「凸部の方向」の行において、「E1」は、図43に示すように、凸部301が、面第1方向E1に延びていたことを意味する。図58の「凸部の方向」の行において、「-」は、図42に示すように、摩擦部25が、面第2方向E2に並ぶ複数の凸部301を含んでいたことを意味する。
構造体20を物体10の湾曲部15に取り付けなかったこと以外は、実施例B41の場合と同様にして、空気抵抗係数を測定した。結果を図58に示す。
3M社製の「IJ180 mc-114」を準備した。IJ180 mc-114は、塩化ビニル樹脂からなる透明基材を含む。IJ180 mc-114は、第2基材45として機能する。
・摩擦部25の幅S21:7mm
・平滑部26の幅S22:7mm
・攪乱構造30の第1高さH1:0.14mm
・面第1方向E1における攪乱構造30のピッチP11:1.12mm
例B61の場合と同様に、IJ180 mc-114にDOL1460Zをラミネートした。続いて、DOL1460Zの塩化ビニル樹脂フィルム上に、UV硬化性樹脂組成物を塗布した。UV硬化性樹脂しては、大日精化社製「セイカビームHT509」を用いた。続いて、UV硬化性樹脂組成物の膜に金型を押し当てて、UV硬化性樹脂組成物の膜を成型した。成型されたUV硬化性樹脂組成物の膜は、UV照射によって硬化された。これにより、図32Cに示す複数の攪乱構造30が形成された。攪乱構造30の構成は、例B61の場合と同一である。
例B61の場合と同様に、IJ180 mc-114にDOL1460Zをラミネートした。

- 流体の抵抗を低減するための構造体であって、
流体に接する第1面と、
前記第1面に位置し、前記第1面に沿う面第1方向に広がる摩擦部と、
前記第1面に位置し、前記面第1方向に交差する面第2方向において前記摩擦部に隣接する第1平滑部と、を備え、
前記摩擦部は、前記面第1方向に並び、前記第1平滑部へ流体を誘導する複数の第1誘導構造を含み、
前記第1誘導構造は、前記第1平滑部に向かって延びる第1端部分を含み、
前記第1端部分は、前記面第1方向に対して、0°超90°未満の第1傾斜角度を有する、構造体。 - 前記第1面に位置し、前記面第2方向において前記摩擦部に隣接する第2平滑部を備え、
前記摩擦部は、前記面第2方向において前記第1平滑部と前記第2平滑部の間に位置し、
前記摩擦部は、前記面第1方向に並び、前記第2平滑部へ流体を誘導する複数の第2誘導構造を含み、
前記第2誘導構造は、前記第2平滑部に向かって延びる第2端部分を含み、
前記第2端部分は、前記面第1方向に対して、0°超90°未満の第2傾斜角度を有する、請求項1に記載の構造体。 - 前記摩擦部は、前記第1誘導構造と前記第2誘導構造とを接続する接続部分を含む、請求項2に記載の構造体。
- 前記摩擦部は、前記面第1方向において5mm以上1000mm以下の長さを有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記摩擦部は、前記面第1方向に直交する方向において0.2mm以上50mm以下の幅を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記第1面は、ベース面を含み、
前記第1誘導構造は、前記構造体の厚み方向において前記ベース面に対して突出している、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。 - 前記第1誘導構造は、前記ベース面から第1高さを有し、
前記第1高さは、20μm以上1.0mm以下である、請求項6に記載の構造体。 - 前記第1高さに対する、前記第1誘導構造が延びる方向に直交する方向における前記複数の第1誘導構造の間隔の比率が、1.0以上12.0以下である、請求項7に記載の構造体。
- 前記第1面は、ベース面を含み、
前記第1誘導構造は、前記構造体の厚み方向において前記ベース面に対して凹んでいる、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。 - 前記摩擦部は、第1ベース比率で前記ベース面を含み、
前記第1平滑部は、前記第1ベース比率よりも高い第2ベース比率で前記ベース面を含む、請求項6に記載の構造体。 - 前記第1傾斜角度は、15°以上75°以下である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記第1誘導構造は、前記第1平滑部に向かって直線的に延びている、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記第1誘導構造は、0.1mm以下の逸脱距離を有し、
前記逸脱距離は、第1仮想直線と前記第1誘導構造との間の、前記面第1方向における距離の最大値であり、
前記第1仮想直線は、前記面第1方向において最も上流側に位置する前記第1誘導構造の部分と前記面第1方向において最も下流側に位置する前記第1誘導構造の部分とを通る直線である、請求項12に記載の構造体。 - 前記第1面は、湾曲面を含み、
前記摩擦部及び前記第1平滑部は、前記湾曲面に位置する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。 - 前記摩擦部と前記第1平滑部との間の境界線が、前記面第1方向に平行に延びている、請求項14に記載の構造体。
