Abstract

本発明の課題は、衝撃吸収性および粘着性・接着性に優れ、部品の捕捉に好適な部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの提供、並びに、この組成物及びシートを用いて高精度・効率的な製造を可能とする電子部品の製造方法の提供である。 上記課題を解決するために、(A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含み、(B)水溶性可塑剤は、常温(25℃)で50000mPa・s以下であり、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下である組成物及びこの組成物を含むシートが提供される。 本発明によれば、衝撃吸収性や粘着性・接着性が向上し、特に半導体素子の製造時などにおいて、部品(素子)の破損または位置ズレの発生を抑制し、特に本発明のシートは貼付や剥離時の取扱いも容易となる。

Description

部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート並びに電子部品の製造方法
 本発明は、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート並びに電子部品の製造方法に関する。特に、本発明は、電子部品の製造において素子を基板上で捕捉するための部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート、並びに、この部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用いた電子部品の製造方法に関する。
 半導体素子および表示素子等の電子部品の製造において、異物付着の防止または半導体チップもしくは画像表示装置の効率的な製造を目的とし、粘着剤層(感圧接着剤層)を有する材料が使用される。
 例えば、特許文献1には、発光ダイオード(LED)を用いた表示装置の製造方法が提案されている。その製造方法では、一つのウエハ上に画素となるLED素子を多数形成した後、ダイシングおよび粘着剤層(感圧接着剤層)を有する一時保持用部材を用いた拡大転写を経る方法が記載されている。
 また、特許文献2には、拡大転写が行われる際にレーザー光を利用し、LED素子を基材から離隔させる方法が提案されている。

 ところが、LED素子を転写によって転写元基板から転写先基板へ転写する場合に、LED素子が転写先基板の決められた位置からずれてしまうことがある。また、LED素子が転写先の部材と衝突し、跳ね返りによりLED素子を所望した位置に配置することができない場合があった。
 このようなことから、本発明の課題は、衝撃吸収性および粘着性・接着性に優れ、部品の捕捉に好適な部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの提供、並びに、この部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用い、高い精度で効率的な製造を可能とする電子部品の製造方法を提供することである。
 本発明の一態様によれば、(A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含む部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(B)水溶性可塑剤の粘度は、常温(25℃)で50000mPa・s以下であり、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下であることを特徴とする部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物が提供される。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物によれば、粘度が常温(25℃)で50000mPa・s以下の水溶性可塑剤を、水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対して所定の割合で含有するため、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物の衝撃吸収性や粘着性・接着性が向上し、電子部品の製造時などにおいて、部品(素子)の破損または位置ズレの発生を抑制することができる。
 本発明の一態様によれば、(A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含む部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(B)水溶性可塑剤は常温(25℃)で液状であり、かつ、分子量が5000以下であり、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下であることを特徴とする部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物が提供される。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物によれば、液状で、かつ、分子量5000以下の水溶性可塑剤を、水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対して所定の割合で含有するため、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物の衝撃吸収性や粘着性・接着性が向上し、電子部品の製造時などにおいて、部品(素子)の破損または位置ズレの発生を抑制することができる。
 本発明の一態様によれば、(A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含む部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(A)水溶性粘着剤の重量平均分子量が1.0×10以上、1.0×10以下であり、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下であることを特徴とする部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物が提供される。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物によれば、重量分子量1.0×10以上、1.0×10以下の水溶性粘着剤を、所定の割合で含有するため、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物の衝撃吸収性や粘着性・接着性が向上し、電子部品の製造時などにおいて、部品(素子)の破損または位置ズレの発生を抑制することができる。
 本発明の一態様にかかる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(A)水溶性粘着剤が、ビニルアルコール系重合体、ビニルピロリドン系重合体、アクリル系重合体及び糖類からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の水溶性粘着剤を含むことが好ましい。
 上記の実施態様によれば、タック性及び粘着性に優れるとともに、水洗性にも優れた部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を提供することができる。
 本発明の一態様にかかる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(B)水溶性可塑剤が、常温(25℃)で液体の一価または多価のアルコールであることが好ましい。
 上記の実施態様によれば、水溶性粘着剤との相溶性に優れ、タック性及び粘着性に優れるとともに、水洗性にも優れた部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を提供することができる。
 本発明の一態様にかかる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(B)水溶性可塑剤が、120℃以上の沸点であることが好ましい。
 上記の実施態様によれば、部品の捕捉後、加熱および/または加圧を伴う接合工程を行う場合において、蒸発しにくく、物性が変化しにくい部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を提供することができる。
 本発明の一態様にかかる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、(B)水溶性可塑剤が、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリエチレングリコール、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール及びポリプロピレングリコールから選択される少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
 上記の実施態様によれば、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリエチレングリコール、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール及びポリプロピレングリコールはいずれも高沸点であることから、加熱および/または加圧を伴う接合工程時に蒸発しにくいため、組成物内に蒸気の気泡(いわゆる「ボイド」)が形成されることを抑制できる。また、水洗性に優れるという効果も奏する。
 本発明の一態様によれば、上記の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物をシート状に成形した層を有することを特徴とする、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートが提供される。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートによれば、上記部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物をシート状にすることで、衝撃吸収性および粘着性・接着性に優れるとともに、貼付や剥離時の取扱いに優れるという効果を併せて発揮し、部品の捕捉に係る作業効率を向上させることができる。また、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは液体成分の量を著しく低減できることから、運搬効率が向上し、保存安定性も良好になるという効果も奏する。
 本発明の一態様によれば、上記の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を用い、部品の捕捉を行う工程を含むことを特徴とする、電子部品の製造方法が提供される。
 本発明の電子部品の製造方法によれば、衝撃吸収性および粘着性・接着性に優れる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を用いることから、転写工程における部品(素子)の転写先の部材との衝突による破損や、跳ね返りを抑制し、所望した位置への部品(素子)の捕捉(搭載)不良が生じることを防ぐ効果を発揮することができる。これにより、電子部品の製造において、高い精度で効率的な製造が可能となる。
 本発明の一態様によれば、上記の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用い、部品の捕捉を行う工程を含むことを特徴とする、電子部品の製造方法が提供される。
 本発明の電子部品の製造方法によれば、衝撃吸収性および粘着性・接着性に優れる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用いることから、転写工程における部品(素子)の転写先の部材との衝突による破損や、跳ね返りを抑制し、所望した位置への部品(素子)の捕捉(搭載)不良が生じることを防ぐ効果を発揮することができる。また、貼付や剥離時の取扱いに優れる部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用いることから、電子部品を製造する場合に、捕捉に係る操作及び捕捉後の残渣除去に係る操作を容易とする効果を発揮する。これにより、電子部品の製造において、高い精度で効率的な製造が可能となる。
 本発明によれば、衝撃吸収性および粘着性・接着性に優れるとともに、貼付や剥離時の取扱い性に優れ、部品の捕捉に好適な部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの提供、並びに、この部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用い、高い精度で効率的な製造を可能とする電子部品の製造方法を提供することが可能となる。

[部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート]
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、部品の捕捉に利用されるものであり、さらに、捕捉後、水洗により除去可能なものである。本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを適用する対象については特に限定されないが、例えば、電子部品の製造において、電子部品を基板上で捕捉することが挙げられる。このとき、捕捉される電子部品としては、半導体素子、液晶素子、光電変換素子、圧電素子、薄膜トランジスタ素子、薄膜ダイオード素子、抵抗素子、スイッチング素子、微小磁気素子、微小光学素子から選ばれた素子若しくはその一部分、あるいはこれら素子の組み合わせなどが挙げられる。
 以下、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートについては、主に半導体素子を基板上で捕捉することを前提とし、説明を行うものとするが、これに限定されるものではない。
 なお、以下の説明において、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を、単に「捕捉用組成物」、また、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを、単に「捕捉用シート」ともいう。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、例えば、エネルギー線(レーザー等)等によって、転写元基板から離隔したLED素子等の半導体素子を受け止める衝撃吸収性を有するとともに、受け止めた半導体素子を基板の所望する位置で捕捉する粘着性・タック性と基板に対する粘着性・接着性とを有する。また、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、水洗工程において、残渣が水に溶解して除去できる。
 本発明は液状の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物で構成することも可能であるが、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物をシート状に成形した層を有する部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートにすることによって、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物と比較し、配線用基板への塗布および乾燥工程を省略でき、取り扱いが容易となることから、作業効率が向上できる。また、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物と比較し、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは液体成分の量を著しく低減できることから、運搬効率が向上し、保存安定性も良好とすることができる。
 また、シートの貼付では、液状の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物の塗布に比べて、部品などの捕捉面(搭載面)が平坦になるので、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートでは、部品を安定に置くことができる。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの形状は、特に制限されない。本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの形状としては、例えば、上方から平面視した場合に、多角形(例えば、長方形、矩形および三角形等)、円形、楕円形および不定形等からなるものが挙げられる。また、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの形状は、被着基板の形状に合わせた形状等、所望する形状とすることもできる。また、切断等の公知の方法を用い、所望する形状に加工してもよい。さらに、ロール状にした後、必要な量を切断し、使用することもできる。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さは、特に制限されないが、例えば、1μm以上が好ましく、3μm以上がより好ましく、5μm以上が更に好ましい。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さが1μm以上であると、衝撃吸収性が向上するので好ましい。
 また、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さの上限値は、500μm以下が好ましく、100μm以下がより好ましく、50μm以下が更に好ましい。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さが500μm以下であると、残渣の量も少ないので、シート除去のための水洗工程の時間を短縮できるので、好ましい。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さは、半導体素子に形成されるバンプの高さとの関係により、適宜選択されることが好ましい。バンプの高さよりも捕捉用シートが厚い場合には、半導体素子の底面及び側面が捕捉用シートと接触するので半導体素子の跳ね返りを抑制することができる。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、水溶性可塑剤(B)を含んでいるが、当該水溶性可塑剤(B)が液状成分であり、高い割合で含まれる場合、特に捕捉用シート上面は、半導体素子沈み込み後の跳ね返りの初期段階で、半導体素子バンプの側面や半導体素子側面において濡れやすく、その濡れによる表面張力や粘着力により半導体素子の跳ね返りや半導体素子の破損を抑制する効果を発揮する。
 また、半導体素子が捕捉用シートに深く沈み込んだ場合は、半導体素子の上面を捕捉用シートが覆い、跳ね返りの抵抗が更に大きくなるので、半導体素子の捕捉に係る工程を高速で行う場合であっても位置ズレはより小さくなる。
 すなわち、半導体素子跳ね返りの抑制効果は、跳ね返りの初期段階で、「半導体素子のバンプ側面で捕捉用シートが濡れている(半導体素子のバンプで濡れている)」、「半導体素子側面で捕捉用シートが濡れている(半導体素子のバンプ、半導体素子底面、半導体素子側面で濡れている)」、「半導体素子上面が捕捉用シートで覆われている(半導体素子のバンプ、半導体素子底面、半導体素子側面、半導体素子上面で濡れている)」の順番で、跳ね返り抑制効果は増大する。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さと半導体素子のバンプの高さとの割合(シートの厚さ/バンプの高さ)は、半導体素子捕捉時の位置ズレや半導体素子破損の観点から、1.0以上が好ましく、1.2以上がより好ましく、1.5以上が更に好ましい。本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さとバンプの高さとの割合が1.0以上であると半導体素子捕捉工程で半導体素子のバンプが基板の電極の所望の位置からずれることが発生しにくく好ましい。
 また、半導体素子の位置ズレなく捕捉した後、加熱および/または加圧を伴う接合工程では、捕捉用シートの軟化により半導体素子が(再度)下に沈んで半導体素子のバンプと基板電極が接触する必要がある。したがって、捕捉用シートの厚さが半導体素子高さ(半導体素子のバンプ下面と半導体素子上面の最短距離)に比べて著しく厚い場合には、半導体素子の(再)沈み込みの距離が長く、沈み込みの間に半導体素子が揺れて基板電極からのズレが大きくなることがある。
 このようなことから、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さとバンプの高さとの割合(捕捉用シートの厚さ/半導体素子のバンプの高さ)は、半導体素子の位置ズレなく捕捉した後の接合工程での半導体素子の沈み込みによる位置ズレの観点から、5.0以下が好ましく、3.6以下がより好ましく、2.3以下が更に好ましい。本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの厚さと半導体素子のバンプの高さとの割合が3.0以下であると、半導体素子を所望する位置に捕捉した後の接合工程での沈み込みでの半導体素子のバンプと基板電極との位置ズレを抑えることができる。
 半導体素子に形成されるバンプの高さは、特に制限されないが、例えば、1μm以上、50μm以下である。バンプの高さの下限値は、1μm以上が好ましく、2μm以上がより好ましく、3μm以上が更に好ましい。バンプの高さの上限値は、50μm以下が好ましく、30μm以下がより好ましく、20μm以下が更に好ましい。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、(A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤を含む。
 成分(A)の含有量は、例えば、捕捉用シート全体を基準として、10質量%以上、65質量%以下である。成分(A)が、10質量%以上であると、シートの成形性のため好ましい。成分(A)が、65質量%以下であると、粘着性や接着性のため好ましい。
 成分(A)の含有量の下限値は、シートの成形性の向上の観点から、20質量%以上が好ましく、25質量%以上がより好ましく、30質量%以上が更に好ましい。
 また、成分(A)の含有量の上限値は、粘着性や接着性の観点から、65質量%以下が好ましく、60質量%以下がより好ましく、55質量%以下が更に好ましい。
 成分(B)の含有量は、例えば、捕捉用シート全体を基準として、35質量%以上が好ましく、40質量%以上がより好ましく、50質量%以上が更に好ましい。
 成分(B)の含有量が、35質量%以上であると、粘着力、接着力、表面張力、レオロジー特性の観点から、半導体素子の転写工程での位置ズレ防止を向上させるため好ましい。成分(B)の含有量を前記の範囲とすることで、液としての特性が高くなり、半導体素子への濡れ性が向上し、半導体素子の跳ね返りを抑制できる。また、前記範囲では、水溶性粘着剤の高分子鎖が動きやすくなり衝撃吸収性に優れる。これは、周波数依存でのレオロジー特性が、高周波になるにつれて、弾性項である貯蔵弾性率G′(E′)の値はほぼ一定であるのに対し、粘性項である損失弾性率G″(E″)が上昇する傾向にあり、その結果、衝撃吸収の指標であるtanδが上昇することからも衝撃吸収性に優れることがわかる。
 また、成分(B)の含有量は、成分(A)を基準として、300質量%以下が好ましく、250質量%以下がより好ましく、200質量%以下が更に好ましい。
 成分(B)の含有量が、300質量%以下であると、シート成形性の観点から好ましい。
 以下に、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを構成する各成分について、説明する。
[(A)水溶性粘着剤]
 成分(A)である水溶性粘着剤は、捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートを構成する主な成分であり、重合体を主な構成成分とする。また、成分(A)の水溶性粘着剤は、水溶性を有する成分であり、単独又は水溶性可塑剤の添加による粘着性を発現する成分である。
 ここで、水溶性とは、常温(25℃)下で、1質量%の水溶液とした場合に、濁りがなく溶解するものである。また、粘着性とは、成分(A)である水溶性粘着剤単独、あるいは、成分(B)である水溶性可塑剤を30質量部または50質量部添加して作製したシートにおいて、常温(25℃)で、シート(1cm×5cm×10μm)を、例えば、PETフィルム(非離型処理面)に押し当てた後に、前記シートが張り付いたPETフィルムを短冊形状に切り抜きして、前記短冊形状に切り抜きしたPETフィルムを垂直に垂らしたときにシートとPETフィルムが直ぐには剥がれないものである。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、成分(A)を含有することにより、半導体素子に対するタック性および粘着性(感圧接着性)、基板に対する粘着性・接着性、接合工程における加熱および/または加圧での分解抑制性又は溶融性、さらには水溶性が向上する。
 成分(A)を構成する重合体は、重合体自体にタック性および粘着性を有するものに加え、またはゲルを形成することによってタック性および粘着性を発現するものを包含する。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、加熱および/または加圧を伴い、基板と半導体素子を電気接続する接合工程においては溶融し、半導体素子のバンプと基板の電極とを導通させることが好ましい。この場合、成分(A)を構成する重合体は、接合工程の温度で溶融するものを用いることが好ましい。このとき、成分(A)を構成する重合体の軟化点は、接合工程において捕捉用組成物又は捕捉用シートが溶融すればよく、特に制限はない。
 例えば、接合工程中に(B)水溶性可塑剤(液状成分)の蒸発等により、捕捉用組成物又は捕捉用シートにおける(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合(B/A)が著しく減少する場合を考えるとすると、成分(A)を構成する重合体の軟化点は、接合工程中に(B)水溶性可塑剤が無くなったとしても、(A)水溶性粘着剤の軟化により、捕捉用組成物又は捕捉用シートへの半導体素子の沈み込みが起こるようにするという観点から、200℃以下が好ましく、150℃以下がより好ましく、100℃以下が更に好ましく、80℃以下が更により好ましい。
 一方、例えば、成分(A)を構成する重合体の軟化点は、(B)水溶性可塑剤を多く含有してもシート化できるという観点からすれば、40℃以上が好ましく、100℃以上がより好ましく、150℃以上が更に好ましく、200℃以上が更により好ましい。
 成分(A)を構成する重合体は、水に溶解することから、接合工程後の水洗によって基板から容易に取り除くことができる。
 成分(A)を構成する重合体の溶解度は、水によって洗浄することができればよく、特に制限はない。例えば、成分(A)を構成する重合体の水に対する溶解度は、90℃において、0.05g/g-HO以上が好ましく、0.10g/g-HO以上がより好ましく、0.30g/g-HO以上が更に好ましい。
 なお、0.05g/g-HO以上であれば、常温でも短時間で洗浄でき、洗浄残渣をなくす、または、極めて少なくすることができるため好ましい。
 また、成分(A)が、例えば、重量平均分子量が1.0×10を超える場合、洗浄による水への溶解に長い時間を要することとなり、洗浄残渣が発生しやすくなる。そのため、洗浄時間の短縮と、洗浄残渣の低減の観点から、成分(A)の分解で低分子化して溶解速度を向上することが好ましい。低分子化する方法としては、半導体素子や基板などのワークにダメージを与えない方法であれば特に制限はない。例えば、成分(A)が、天然高分子の場合は、種々の公知の加水分解酵素を挙げることができる。
 例えば、成分(A)が、澱粉、プルランなどのα-グルコース、または/かつその誘導体の重合体を含む場合、アミラーゼ、グルコアミラーゼ、プルナーゼなどの加水分解酵素を挙げることができる。また、例えば、カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)などのβ-グルコース、または/かつその誘導体の重合体を含む天然高分子の場合、セルラーゼなどを挙げることができる。また、例えば、シルクなどのアミノ酸由来の天然高分子の場合、プロテアーゼなどを挙げることができる。当該加水分解酵素を使用するときには、高い酵素活性を発現する最適なpH、温度領域で洗浄することが好ましく、酵素によっては、Ca2+などの添加剤などを加えることにより、より酵素活性を高めることもできる。
 成分(A)を構成する重合体の重量平均分子量Mwは、シート成形性の向上の観点から、1.0×10以上が好ましく、5.0×10以上がより好ましく、1.0×10以上が更に好ましい。また、成分(A)を構成する重合体の重量平均分子量Mwが、例えば、1.0×10を超える場合、前述したとおり、洗浄時間の短縮化と、洗浄残渣の低減の観点から、成分(A)を加水分解などにより低分子化して水への溶解速度を向上することが好ましい。
 また、成分(A)を構成する重合体の重量平均分子量Mwは、水溶性粘着剤の軟化による半導体素子の捕捉用組成物(又は捕捉用シート)への沈み込みや水洗浄性の点から、1.0×10以下が好ましく、8.0×10以下がより好ましく、4.0×10以下が更に好ましい。
 成分(A)を構成する重合体の分子量分布Mw/Mn(ここで、Mnは数平均分子量を示す。)は、特に限定されない。
 例えば、分子量分布Mw/Mnの下限値は、1.5以上が好ましく、1.8以上がより好ましい。
 また、分子量分布Mw/Mnの上限値は、30以下が好ましく、15以下がより好ましく、8以下が更に好ましい。
 分子量分布Mw/Mnを上記範囲とすることで、シートを良好に成形でき、シート内の特性のバラツキを抑え、特性をより均一にできる。
<ビニルアルコール系重合体>
 本発明において、ビニルアルコール系重合体は、一般式(1)で表されるヒドロキシエチレン繰り返し単位を有する重合体をいう。
 以下、一般式(1)で表される構造を、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位ともいう。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体は、繰り返し単位が、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位のみからなる単独重合体構造であってもよく、他の繰り返し単位を有する共重合体構造であってもよい。
 以下、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位のみからなる単独重合体構造のビニルアルコール系重合体を、単に「単独重合体」ともいい、他の繰り返し単位を有する共重合体構造のビニルアルコール系重合体を、単に「共重合体」ともいう。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体は、一般に、ビニルアルコールの水酸基を保護した単量体(例えば、酸酸ビニル等)を単独または共重合した後、保護基を脱離する変性(例えば、加水分解等)を経て製造する。
 このため、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位以外の他の繰り返し単位としては、変性前の繰り返し単位が残存した単位を挙げることができる。変性前の繰り返し単位として、例えば、ギ酸ビニル、酢酸ビニル、プロピオン酸ビニル、酪酸ビニル、イソ酪酸ビニル、ピバリン酸ビニル、バーサチック酸ビニル、カプロン酸ビニル、カプリル酸ビニル、ラウリル酸ビニル、パルミチン酸ビニル、ステアリン酸ビニル、オレイン酸ビニル、トリフルオロ酢酸ビニル、安息香酸ビニル、ブチルビニルエーテルおよびトリメチルシリルビニルエーテルから誘導される繰り返し単位が挙げられる。
 以下、変性されずに変性前の官能基が残存した状態で、ビニルアルコール系重合体中の繰り返し単位となるものを、「未変性繰り返し単位」ともいう。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体において、残存した未変性繰り返し単位は1種または2種以上であってもよい。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体は、一般的に、酢酸ビニル系重合体のけん化によって製造する。このため、入手が容易である変性前繰り返し単位が酢酸ビニルから誘導される酢酸ビニル重合体を変性したビニルアルコール系共重合が好ましく使用される。
 ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位および未変性繰り返し単位とからなるビニルアルコール系重合体では、水に対する溶解性と粘着性(感圧接着性)は、けん化度および重合度に影響される。
 ここで、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位および未変性繰り返し単位とからなるビニルアルコール系重合体におけるけん化度は、全繰り返し単位数に対するビニルアルコール繰り返し単位数の割合([ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位数]/{[ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位数]+[未変性繰り返し単位数]}比)である。
 ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位および未変性繰り返し単位とからなるビニルアルコール系重合体は、けん化度が高過ぎる場合でも、低過ぎる場合でも水に対する溶解性は低下する。また、重合度が高い場合においても水に対する溶解性は低下する。
 このため、未変性繰り返し単位とからなるビニルアルコール系重合体では、未変性繰り返し単位の種類によって、けん化度および重合度が選択される。
 例えば、けん化度の下限値は、30%以上が好ましく、40%以上がより好ましく、50%以上が更に好ましい。
 また、例えば、けん化度の上限値は、90%以下が好ましく、80%以下がより好ましく、70%以下が更に好ましい。
 上記範囲内であれば、結晶化して水に溶けにくくなることや、親水性基が少なく水に溶けにくくなることなどがないため、好ましく使用できる。
 また、ビニルアルコール系重合体は、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位及び未変性繰り返し単位以外の他の繰り返し単位を1種または2種以上含むことができる。ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位および未変性繰り返し単位以外の他の繰り返し単位として、例えば、エチレン、(メタ)アクリル酸、マレイン酸、ビニルピロリドン、(メタ)アクリル酸のアミノアルキルエステル、一般式(2)で表される単量体(例えば、オキシエチレンモノアリルエーテルおよび(メタ)アクリル酸エチルカルビトール等)等から誘導される繰り返し単位が挙げられる。
 以下、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位および未変性繰り返し単位以外の他の繰り返し単位を、「第三の繰り返し単位」ともいう。
 けん化度の測定は、第三の繰り返し単位(オキシアルキレン構造等)がある場合は、H-NMRで、前記第三の繰り返し単位がない場合は、JIS K6726に準拠して測定することができる。
(式中、RおよびRは、独立して、水素原子または有機基を表し、Rはエーテル結合、エステル結合、アミド結合、炭素数1~6のアルキレンもしくはこれらの複合基または単結合を表し、Aは炭素数2~22のアルキレン基を表す。nは1以上の整数を表す。)
 一般式(2)におけるRは、水素原子または炭素数1~20の有機基を表し、有機基は、当然に、O、N、S、SiおよびPの各元素の1種または2種以上を含んでいてもよい。
 Rの有機基として、例えば、アルキル基、アシル基、アシルオキシ基、アルコキシカルボニル基、アルキルエステル基(アシルオキシ置換ヒドロカルビル基およびアルコキシカルボニル置換ヒドロカルビル基)、アルキルアミドアルキレン基、スルホン酸塩基を挙げることができる。
 アルキル基としては、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、i-プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基およびヘキシル基等が挙げられる。
 アシル基としては、メチルカルボニル基、エチルカルボニル基、n-プロピルカルボニル基、i-プロピルカルボニル基、ブチルカルボニル基、ペンチルカルボニル基およびヘキシルカルボニル基等が挙げられる。
 アルキルエステル基としては、メチルオキシカルボニルメチレン基、メチルカルボニルオキシメチレン基、エチルオキシカルボニルエチレン基およびエチルカルボニルオキシエチレン基等が挙げられる。
 アルキルアミドアルキレン基としては、N,N′-ジメチルアミドアルキレン基およびN,N′-ジエチルアミドアルキレン基等が挙げられる。
 Rとして、水素原子またはアルキル基、アシル基、アルキルエステル基もしくはアルキルアミドアルキレン基における炭素数1~10のものが好ましく、水素原子またはメチル基がより好ましく、水素原子が更に好ましい。
 Rが水素原子であると、重合体のガラス転移温度を低くすることができるので好ましい。
 一般式(2)におけるRは、エーテル結合(-O-)、エステル結合(-COO-、-OCO-)、アミド結合(-NHCO-、-OCNH-)、炭素数1~6のアルキレンもしくはこれらの複合基または単結合を表す。
 一般式(2)におけるRは、水素原子または炭素数1~20の有機基を表し、有機基は、当然に、O、N、S、SiおよびPの各元素の1種または2種以上を含んでいてもよい。
 Rの有機基として、例えば、アルキル基、アシル基、アルコキシカルボニル基、アルキルエステル基(アシルオキシ置換ヒドロカルビル基およびアルコキシカルボニル置換ヒドロカルビル基)、アルキルアミド基、アルキルアミドアルキレン基、スルホン酸塩基を挙げることができる。
 アルキル基としては、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、i-プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基およびヘキシル基等が挙げられる。
 アシル基としては、メチルカルボニル基、エチルカルボニル基、n-プロピルカルボニル基、i-プロピルカルボニル基、ブチルカルボニル基、ペンチルカルボニル基およびヘキシルカルボニル基等が挙げられる。
 アルキルエステル基としては、メチルオキシカルボニルメチレン基、メチルカルボニルオキシメチレン基、エチルオキシカルボニルエチレン基およびエチルカルボニルオキシエチレン基等が挙げられる。
 アルキルアミドアルキレン基としては、N,N′-ジメチルアミドアルキレン基およびN,N′-ジエチルアミドアルキレン基等が挙げられる。
 Rとして、水素原子またはアルキル基、アシル基、アルキルエステル基もしくはアルキルアミドアルキレン基における炭素数1~10のものが好ましく、水素原子またはメチル基がより好ましい。
 一般式(2)におけるAは、直鎖状または分岐した炭素数2~22のアルキレン基を表す。
 一般式(2)において、nが2以上である場合は、複数のAは、互いに同一であっても、異なっていてもよい。
 一般式(2)におけるAの炭素数は、10以下が好ましく、4以下がより好ましく、3以下が更に好ましく、2が特に好ましい。
 一般式(2)におけるAとして、例えば、ジメチレン(エチレン)、トリメチレン、メチルエチレン、テトラメチレン、1-メチルプロピレン、2-メチルプロピレンおよび1-エチルエチレン等を挙げることができる。
 オキシアルキレン構造において、疎水性基として作用するアルキレン基の炭素数が少ないオキシアルキレン基は、炭素数の多いオキシアルキレン基に比較し、親水性である。
 したがって、一般式(2)において、「AO」で表されるオキシアルキレン構造は、オキシエチレン構造がもっとも好ましい。
 一般式(2)における繰り返し数nは、親水性基である「AO」で表されるオキシアルキレン構造の数を表す。このため、一般に、nの数が増すと、一般式(2)で表される繰り返し単位の親水性が向上する。
 したがって、一般式(2)における繰り返し数nの下限値は、2以上が好ましく、5以上がより好ましく、6以上が更に好ましい。また、一般式(2)における繰り返し数nの上限値は、300以下が好ましく、200以下がより好ましく、65以下が更に好ましく、20以下が特に好ましい。
 オキシアルキレン基の繰り返し単位数nを上記範囲内とすることで、低温の水に対する溶解性を向上することができ、また、粘着性を向上させることができる。
 第三の繰り返し単位の含有割合は、ビニルアルコール系重合体が、タック性および粘着性(感圧接着性)を示し、水に溶けることができれば、特に制限はない。
 したがって、第三の繰り返し単位の種類により、タック性および粘着性(感圧接着性)と水溶性の観点から、第三の繰り返し単位の割合は選択される。
 例えば、ビニルアルコール系重合体における第三の繰り返し単位の割合(「第三の繰り返し単位」×100/「ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位」+「未変性繰り返し単位」+「第三の繰り返し単位」)は、0.5mol%以上が好ましく、3.0mol%以上がより好ましく、5.0mol%以上が更に好ましい。
 0.5mol%以上であれば、低温での水に対する溶解性、(B)水溶性可塑剤との混和性が良好のため好ましく使用できる。
 また、ビニルアルコール系重合体における第三の繰り返し単位の割合は、20mol%以下が好ましく、10mol%以下がより好ましく、5mol%以下が更に好ましい。
 20mol%以下であれば、シート成形性が良好のため好ましく使用できる。
 また、ビニルアルコール系重合体におけるビニルアルコール繰り返し単位の含有割合は、ビニルアルコール系重合体が、粘着性(感圧接着性)を示し、水に溶けることができれば、特に制限されない。例えば、ビニルアルコール系重合体におけるビニルアルコール繰り返し単位の割合は、20mol%以上が好ましく、30mol%以上がより好ましく、40mol%以上が更に好ましい。
 20mol%以上であれば、粘着性が良好のため好ましい。
 また、ビニルアルコール系重合体におけるビニルアルコール繰り返し単位の割合は、90mol%以下が好ましく、80mol%以下がより好ましく、60mol%以下が更に好ましい。
 90mol%以下であれば、粘着性が良好のため好ましい。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体において、(ポリ)オキシアルキレン構造を有する単量体から誘導される繰り返し単位を含む重合体は、水溶性が向上する。
 このため、第三の繰り返し単位として、(ポリ)オキシアルキレン構造を有する単量体から誘導される繰り返し単位が好ましい。
 また、第三の繰り返し単位が水溶性である場合、ビニルアルコール繰り返し単位に依らなくともビニルアルコール系重合体の水溶性を向上することができる。このため、水に対する溶解性の観点からは、ビニルアルコール系重合体のけん化度を、第三の繰り返し単位を含まないビニルアルコール系重合体のけん化度に比較して、低くすることができる。
 さらに、結晶性のビニルアルコール繰り返し単位の割合が低くなる結果、ビニルアルコール系共重合体のガラス転移温度を低くすることができ、タック性および粘着性を向上することができる。
 したがって、第三の繰り返し単位は、(ポリ)オキシアルキレン構造を有する単量体から誘導される繰り返し単位がより好ましく、一般式(2)で表される繰り返し単位がさらに好ましい。
 ビニルアルコール単独重合体またはビニルアルコール系共重合体は、一般式(3)で表される構造を重合体の少なくとも1末端に有していてもよい。
(式中、Rは、エーテル結合、エステル結合、アミド結合、炭素数1~6のアルキレンもしくはこれらの複合基または単結合を表し、RおよびRは、独立して、水素原子又は炭素原子数1~10のアルキル基を表し、Rは、水素原子または炭素数1~20の有機基を表す。mは1以上の整数を表す。)
 一般式(3)におけるR、Rおよびmは、それぞれ、一般式(2)におけるR、Rおよびnについて記載した内容のとおりである。
 RおよびRは、独立して、水素原子または炭素原子数1~10のアルキル基であり、mが2以上の場合は、複数のRまたは複数のRは、同一でもよく、異なっていてもよい。
 RおよびRにおけるアルキル基として、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、i-プロピル基、ブチル基、ペンチル基およびヘキシル基等が挙げられる。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体の水溶性を向上する観点から、水素原子が好ましい。
 ビニルアルコール系重合体は、ビニルアルコール単独重合体、ビニルアルコール系共重合体または少なくとも1末端に一般式(3)で表される構造を有するビニルアルコール系重合体から選ばれる重合体を1種単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を用いてよい。また、2種以上を用いる場合において、ビニルアルコール系共重合体から選ばれる2種以上、または少なくとも1末端に一般式(3)で表される構造を有するビニルアルコール系重合体から、2種以上を用いてもよい。
<ビニルピロリドン系重合体>
 本発明において、ビニルピロリドン系重合体は、一般式(4)で表される構造を主な繰り返し単位として有する重合体をいう。
 ビニルピロリドン系重合体は、ビニルピロリドン単独重合体であってもよく、共重合体であってもよい。
 共重合成分としては、例えば、エチレン、(メタ)アクリル酸、マレイン酸、ビニルピロリドン、(メタ)アクリル酸のアミノアルキルエステル、一般式(2)表される単量体(例えば、オキシエチレンモノアリルエーテルおよび(メタ)アクリル酸エチルカルビトール等)等を挙げることができる。
 ビニルピロリドン系重合体における共重合成分の割合は、本発明の効果を阻害しない限り、特に制限はない。例えば、共重合成分の割合は、30mol%以下が好ましく、10mol%以下がより好ましく、5mol%以下が更に好ましい。
 30mol%以下であれば、発熱を伴う水との強い水素結合の形成を阻害せず、水に対する溶解性が良好のため好ましい。
 なお、入手のしやすさ、水溶性および粘着性に優れることから、ビニルピロリドンが特に有用であり、好ましい。
<アクリル系重合体>
 アクリル系重合体は、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ構造を有する単量体が付加重合した構造を主な繰り返し単位として有する重合体をいう。
 水溶性を有するアクリル系重合体としては、水酸基、カルボキシル基(カルボキシル基の塩、例えば、カルボン酸ナトリウム、カルボン酸アンモニウムなどの官能基も含む)、オキシアルキレン基(例えば、オキシエチレン構造またはオキシプロピレン構造等)またはアミノ基(アミノ基の塩、例えば、塩酸アンモニウム、硫酸アンモニウムなどの官能基も含む)を有することが好ましい。
 アクリル系重合体が、水酸基、オキシアルキレン基を有すると、水溶性が向上するのでより好ましい。
 また、本発明で使用するアクリル系重合体は、単独、または(B)水溶性可塑剤を含むことにより、粘着性(感圧接着性)を有することから、ガラス転移温度は、120℃以下が好ましく、80℃以下がより好ましく、50℃以下が更に好ましい。
 ガラス転移温度の測定方法としては、JIS K6240(DSC法)に準拠した。
 アクリル系重合体としては、例えば、親水性のアクリル酸系単量体(アクリル酸、アクリル酸カルボキシエチル、アクリル酸ヒドロキシエチル、アクリル酸2-(2-エトキシエトキシ)エチル、アクリル酸ポリオキシエチレン、アクリル酸ポリオキシプロピレンおよびアクリル酸ポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレン等)から選ばれる1種または2種以上と、アクリル酸アルキルエステル(アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸プロピレン、アクリル酸ブチル、アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル等)等、メタクリル酸系単量体(メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸アルキルエステル、メタクリル酸ヒドロキシアルキルエステルおよびメタクリル酸ポリ(オキシアルキレン)等)並びにアクリロニトリルから選ばれる1種または2種以上とを共重合体したものが挙げられる。
 アクリル系重合体は、親水性のアクリル酸系単量体以外の単量体の割合は、水に溶けることができ、ガラス転移温度が好ましくは120℃以下であればよく、特に制限はない。単量体の割合としては、例えば、30mol%以下が好ましく、10mol%以下がより好ましく、5mol%以下が更に好ましい。
 アクリル系重合体としては、例えば、低いガラス転移温度の単独重合体を誘導する親水性のアクリル酸系単量体に、金属との粘着性(感圧接着性)を向上させる極性基(カルボキシル基および水酸基)等を有する(メタ)アクリル酸系単量体および(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルを組み合わせて共重合したものが挙げられる。
<糖類>
 本発明において、糖類は、上記の水溶性粘着剤の特性を備える重合体をいう。
 例えば、一般式(5)で表される繰り返し単位であるプルラン、一般式(6)で表される繰り返し単位であるヒドロキシエチルセルロース、一般式(7)で表される繰り返し単位であるカルボキシメチルセルロースおよびでんぷん等を挙げることができる。
(式中、Rは、独立して、水素原子または末端に水素原子を有するモノまたはポリオキシアルキレン基を表す。)
(式中、Rは、独立して水素原子またはCHCOONa又はCHCOONHを表す。)
[(B)水溶性可塑剤]
 成分(B)である水溶性可塑剤は、成分(A)の可塑剤として作用し、本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートの主成分である成分(A)をより柔軟化させる作用を有する。これによって、転写元の基板から離隔した半導体素子が本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートと接触したときの衝撃を吸収し、半導体素子の損傷および跳ね返りによる位置ずれを防止することができる。
 このため、(B)水溶性可塑剤は、成分(A)をより柔軟化させるため、部品の捕捉時や接合時に、液状であることが好ましい。例えば、常温(25℃)で液状であることが好ましい。
 本発明における(B)水溶性可塑剤は、成分(A)以外のものである。また、本発明における(B)水溶性可塑剤は、水を含む。
 (B)水溶性可塑剤の沸点は、特に制限されないが、例えば、120℃以上であり、150℃以上が好ましく、180℃以上が更に好ましい。(B)水溶性可塑剤の沸点が120℃以上の場合には、捕捉時に蒸発しにくいため、捕捉及び接合時における本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの特性が変化しにくいという効果を奏する。
 さらに、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、加熱および/または加圧を伴う接合工程に供されることから、(B)水溶性可塑剤は、接合工程時の温度における蒸気圧が大気圧未満となる液体である可塑剤が好ましい。このときの温度における蒸気圧が大気圧未満となる液体である可塑剤の場合には蒸発が生じないため、捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートにおいて蒸気の気泡(いわゆる「ボイド」)の形成を抑制することができる。
 なお、(B)水溶性可塑剤の沸点の上限値は、特に制限されないが、例えば、500℃以下である。
 (B)水溶性可塑剤は、接合工程後、水洗によって除去される。このため、水に溶ければ制限なく使用できる。水洗を効率的に行うことができるため、(B)水溶性可塑剤の水に対する溶解度は、常温(25℃)において、0.10g/g-HO以上が好ましく、0.30g/g-HO以上がより好ましく、0.50g/g-HO以上が更に好ましい。
 また、(B)水溶性可塑剤は、接合工程における成分(A)の溶融性を阻害せず、水溶性に優れる性質を有するのみならず、(B)水溶性可塑剤の水溶液が低粘度であることが好ましい。
 このため、(B)水溶性可塑剤は常温(25℃)で液状であることが好ましい。また、(B)水溶性可塑剤の粘度の上限値は、常温(25℃)で50000mPa・s以下が好ましく、40000mPa・s以下がより好ましく、1000mPa・s以下が更に好ましく、600mPa・s以下がより更に好ましい。一方、下限値は、特に限定はされないが、0.8mPa・s以上であることが好ましく、1.0mPa・s以上であることがより好ましい。
 また、水溶液の粘度は、溶質の分子量に依存するから、例えば、(B)水溶性可塑剤として用いる化合物の分子量は、5000以下が好ましく、3000以下がより好ましく、1000以下が更に好ましく、800以下がより更に好ましく、600以下が特に好ましい。なお、本発明の記載において、分子量に分布がある水溶性可塑剤の分子量は、重量平均分子量を意味する。
 (B)水溶性可塑剤の種類は、成分(A)との反応または相互作用によって、溶媒溶解性、溶融性および溶融性の低下による本発明の効果を損なわない水溶性可塑剤を選択する。
 例えば、成分(A)と成分(B)とが反応し、三次元架橋構造を形成した場合には、溶媒溶解性、溶融性および表面張力が損なわれる。
 本発明の成分(B)である水溶性可塑剤としては、一価または多価のアルコールおよびアルカノールアミンであることが好ましい。これらは複数の親水性官能基をもつため、水溶性の点で優れている。
 (B)水溶性可塑剤として、より具体的には、例えば、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、エチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、プロパン-1,2-ジオール、1,3-プロパンジオール、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、エタノールアミンおよびトリメタノールアミン等を挙げることができる。
 また、高分子の水溶性可塑剤として、ポリエチレングリコール、末端モノアルコキシポリエチレングリコール、末端ジアルコキシポリエチレングリコール、ポリグリセリン、プロピレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール等を挙げることができる。
 ここで、(B)水溶性可塑剤は、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコールおよびトリエタノールアミンが好ましい。グリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコールおよびトリエタノールアミンは、水との混和性に優れ、沸点が高い。このため、接合工程における捕捉用シートの溶融性、表面張力および洗浄工程における水洗性に優れるためである。入手性および取り扱い性が容易なグリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリエチレングリコールおよびポリプロピレングリコールがより好ましく、グリセリン、およびポリエチレングリコールが更に好ましい。
 また、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))は0.5より大きく、3.0以下である。後述する実施例に示すように、この値を満たさないと、十分な衝撃吸収性、粘着性・接着性が得られず、さらに貼付や剥離時の取扱い性が劣る場合がある。
[その他の成分]
 本発明の捕捉用シートには、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で、捕捉用シート全体を基準として、10質量%以下の水を含ませることができる。
 また、本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートには、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で、その他の成分を含有することができる。
 その他の成分としては、滑剤、酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、界面活性剤、熱安定剤、防錆剤、表面調整剤(レベリング剤)等が挙げられる。
 なお、本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートには、熱硬化性樹脂を含まないことが好ましい。熱硬化性樹脂は、接合工程において硬化し、水洗等により除去できない場合があるためである。
[部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物の製造方法]
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物の製造は、公知の製造方法を用いて製造することができる。
 例えば、後述する表1、表2の原料を用いて、ミキサー等によって混錬することにより製造することができる。
[部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの製造方法]
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの製造は、粘着剤を含むシート製造に係る公知の製造方法を用いて製造することができる。
 例えば、準備した剥離用シートに、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を用いた層を形成することによって、製造することができる。
 剥離用シートの基材としては、本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物が剥離できれば特に制限はない。剥離用シートの基材として、例えば、ポリエステル、ポリオレフィンおよびポリアミドを挙げることができる。
 ポリエステルとしては、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリテトラメチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレートおよびポリテトラメチレンテレフタレート等を挙げることができる。
 ポリオレフィンとしては、例えば、線状低密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレンおよびポリプロピレン等を挙げることができる。
 ポリアミドとしては、例えば、ポリカプロラクタム、ポリヘキサメチレンアジパミド、ポリテトラメチレンアジパミド、ポリヘキサメチレンイソフタルアミド、ポリヘキサメチレンセバカミド、ポリヘキサメチレンドデカミド、ポリヘキサメチレンテレフタルアミド、ポリノナメチレンテレフタラミド、ポリデカメチレンテレフタラミド、ポリウンデカンラクタム、ポリドデカンラクタムおよびポリメタキシリレンアジパミド等を挙げることができる。
 剥離用シートは、少なくとも片面に公知の離型処理が施されていてもよい。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を用いた層は、剥離用シートの片面または両面に形成されてもよい。
 本発明の捕捉用組成物を用いた層を設ける方法としては、特に限定されず、公知の方法を用いることができる。
 例えば、捕捉用シートを構成する成分の全部または一部を含む組成物を溶媒に溶解または分散させ、剥離用シートに塗布することによって、製造することができる。
 溶媒としては、水、有機溶剤、及び、水と有機溶剤の混合物を挙げることができる。有機溶剤としては、メタノール、エタノール、1-プロパノール、2-プロパノール、1-ブタノール、2-ブタノール、2メチル1-プロパノール、2-メチル2-プロパノール、1-ペンタノール、2-ペンタノール、3-ペンタノール、2-メチル1-ブタノール、2-メチル2-ブタノール、3-メチル1-ブタノール、3-メチル2-ブタノール、2、2-ジメチル1-プロパノール等を挙げることができる。
 塗布の方法としては、本発明の捕捉用組成物を用いて形成された層が、均一な厚さを形成できる方法であれば、特に制限はない。例えば、均一な厚さの層を形成する方法としては、スピンコート、ブレードコート、スリットコートおよびスロットダイコートを挙げることができる。
 捕捉用シートを構成する成分の一部を含む組成物を用いた場合には、例えば、層を形成させた後、液状の成分(例えば、成分(B))を捕捉用シートの乾燥前または乾燥後に含浸または置換させてもよい。
 このとき、乾燥の温度は、60℃~140℃、好ましくは、80~120℃である。
[部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物(部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート)の使用方法]
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、例えば、次の工程を有する電子部品の製造に使用することができる。
 以下、主に本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの使用方法について説明を行うものとする。なお、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物(部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート)の使用方法に関する以下の説明は、本発明の電子部品の製造方法の説明に置き換えることができる。
(1)本発明の捕捉用シート(捕捉用組成物)を配線用基板の電極面側に配置し、貼り合わせる(塗布する)工程
(2)本発明の捕捉用シート(捕捉用組成物)上で、半導体素子を捕捉する工程
(3)半導体素子を配線用基板に電気的に接合させる接合工程
(4)残渣を除去する洗浄工程
(5)配線用基板の乾燥工程
<(1)貼り合わせ工程>
 本発明の捕捉用シートを配線用基板の電極面側に配置し、貼り合わせる工程では、剥離用シート上に形成された本発明の捕捉用シートを配線基板に貼り合わせる。本発明の捕捉用シートに剥離シートがある場合には、剥離用シートを剥離する。
 本発明の捕捉用シートを貼り合わせる前に、配線基板の電極面を洗浄してもよい。洗浄は有機溶媒、酸性水溶液または塩基性水溶液等を用いて行うことができる。
 配線用基板としては、配線を備えた基板であれば特に制限はなく、例えば、ガラス基板であるTFTバックブレーン、カラスエポキシ基板であるFR-4、セラミック基板、シリコーンウエハなどを挙げることができる。
 なお、本発明の捕捉用シートを用いた貼り合わせ工程に代えて、配線基板の電極面側に本発明の捕捉用組成物を直接塗布、乾燥させる工程とするものとしてもよい。
<(2)捕捉工程>
 本発明の捕捉用シート上で、半導体素子を捕捉する工程では、基板上の所望する位置に、部品(素子)を配設する。この捕捉工程は、半導体製造において転写工程と呼ばれるものを兼ねるものとしてもよい。
 転写工程は、配線用基板における半導体素子の位置を決定し、転写元となる半導体素子が形成された基板または半導体素子を一時保持した基板から転写先となる本発明の捕捉用シート上に半導体素子を移動する工程である。なお、転写工程としては、非接触転写工程や接触転写工程が知られているが、特に限定されるものではない。
・非接触転写工程
 転写工程の一形態として、非接触転写工程を例に挙げて、図1に基づいて説明する。本発明の捕捉用シートを使用した転写工程は、例示した形態に限定されない。なお、図面は、説明を理解しやすくするため、拡大または縮小した部分がある。
 (i)上記(1)貼り合わせ工程で製造した図1(a)に示す転写先基板1Aにおいて、配線基板12Aと貼り合わされた本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート11Aにおける面と反対側の面と、転写元基板2Aにおける半導体素子21Aを有する面とを対向させて間隙をおき配置する。
 ここで、図1(a)に示す転写元基板2Aは、素子を一時的に保持する保持基板23Aの片面に形成された粘着層22Aに保持された半導体素子21Aを有する。
 (ii)図1(b)に示すように転写元基板2Aにおいて半導体素子21Aが形成された面と反対側の面から、所望する一つまたは二つ以上の半導体素子の位置にエネルギー線(レーザー等)3を照射する。エネルギー線(レーザー等)3の照射により、図1(c)に示すように転写元基板2Aから半導体素子21Aを離隔させ、離隔した半導体素子21Aは、転写先の捕捉用シート11Aに接着し、転写する。
 (iii)その後、図1(d)に示すように転写先基板1Aに対し、半導体素子21Aとは別の半導体素子21Bが一時的に保持された保持基板23Bを備える転写元基板2Bを、所望する位置に移動する。移動後、図1(e)および図1(f)に示すように、上記(ii)に係る工程を繰り返す。
 (iv)上記(ii)、(iii)、および、必要に応じ上記(i)を繰り返し、転写先基板1Aの所望する位置の全てに半導体素子を転写し、配置する。(図示せず)
 転写元基板2A及び2Bにおける保持基板23A及び23Bは、例えば、サファイヤ基板、石英ガラス、ガラス、プラスチックのいずれであってもよい。保持基板23Aと半導体素子21Aとの離隔及び保持基板23Bと半導体素子21Bとの離隔は、エネルギー線(レーザー等)3の照射によって、粘着層22A及び22Bを構成する成分が、例えば、分解(および発泡)、凝集または軟化・溶融によって生じる。
 このため、エネルギー線(レーザー等)3のエネルギーを効率的に粘着層22A及び22Bに吸収させるため、保持基板23A及び23Bは、エネルギー線3を透過するもの又は吸収が低いものであることが好ましい。
 転写元基板2A及び2Bにおける粘着層22A及び22Bを構成する成分は、粘着剤成分を含む。粘着剤成分として、例えば、シリコーン、アクリル系重合体、ポリビニルアルコール系重合体およびビニルピロリドン系重合体が挙げられる。また、粘着層22A及び22Bを構成する成分は、エネルギー線(レーザー)3によって、発泡する成分または凝集を促進する架橋成分を含んでいてもよい。
 エネルギー線3としては、例えば、レーザーが挙げられる。レーザーとしては、例えば、エキシマレーザーおよび高調波YAGレーザーが挙げられる。
・接触転写工程
 次に、転写工程の別の形態として、接触転写工程を図2に基づいて説明する。
 本形態では、素子を一時的に保持する保持基板における半導体素子を、基板における本発明の捕捉用シートに接触させて転写を行う以外は、非接触転写工程と同様である。このため、下記(i)から(iv)について説明し、それ以外の非接触転写工程と共通する内容は、説明を省略する。
 (i)図2(a)及び図2(b)に示すように転写先基板1Bにおける部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート11Bに対し、転写元基板2Cにおける半導体素子21Cを接触させる。
 (ii)図2(c)に示すように転写元基板2Cにおける半導体素子21Cが形成された面と反対側の面から、所望する一つまたは二つ以上の半導体素子の位置にエネルギー線(レーザー等)3を照射する。エネルギー線(レーザー等)3の照射により、図2(d)に示すように転写元の転写元基板2Cから半導体素子21Cを離隔させ、離隔した半導体素子21Cは、転写先の捕捉用シート11Bに接着し、転写する。
 (iii)離隔した半導体素子21Cを転写した後、図2(e)に示すように半導体素子21Cとは別の半導体素子21Dを保持基板23Dに保持する転写元基板2Dを所望する位置に移動し、転写元基板2Dにおける半導体素子21Dを捕捉用シート11Bに接触させる。接触後、図2(f)~図2(h)に示すように、上記(ii)に係る工程を繰り返す。
 (iv)上記(ii)、(iii)、および、必要に応じ上記(i)を繰り返し、転写先基板1Bの所望する位置の全てに半導体素子を転写し、配置する。(図示せず)
・転写工程における形態の変形
 転写工程における形態は、上記の形態に限定されない。本発明の目的を達成できる範囲での変形および改良等を含むことができる。
 上記の非接触転写工程または接触転写工程における保持基板に形成された半導体素子の全てにエネルギー線(レーザー)を照射し、一括して半導体素子を転写してもよい。
 また、上記の非接触転写工程または接触転写工程における(iii)において、保持基板(23B及び23D)の代わりに、又は保持基板(23B又は23D)とともに、転写先基板1A及び1Bを移動させてもよい。
 さらに、上記の非接触転写工程または接触転写工程における転写元基板(2A、2B、2C及び2D)の代わりに、又は転写元基板(2A、2B、2C及び2D)とともに、素子形成基板を使用することができる。
 例えば、素子形成基板は、サファイヤ基板上に導電層等の各種層を有する積層体を形成し、この積層体に半導体の結晶を成長等させ、発光ダイオードを形成したものが挙げられる。サファイヤ基板をとおして、結晶にレーザーを照射すると、サファイヤ基板との界面部分にある層の表面が分解することによって、発光ダイオードを離隔させることができる。
<(3)接合工程>
 素子を配線用基板に電気的に接合させる接合工程では、加熱および/または加圧を行い、本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートを軟化あるいは溶融させる。素子と配線用基板との間にあった本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートが軟化あるいは溶融することによって、素子と配線用基板が電気的に接合する。
 接合工程の温度は、樹脂やはんだの特性によって選択されるが、例えば、150℃、160℃であり、多段階で加熱してもよい。
 また、接合工程の最高温度は、半導体素子の耐熱性等によって選択されるが、例えば、260℃以下が好ましく、240℃以下がより好ましく、230℃以下が更に好ましい。
<(4)洗浄工程>
 本発明の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートは、接合工程後に残存する。したがって、残渣を洗浄によって取り除く。
 洗浄は、イオンを除いた水(超純水、イオン交換水および蒸留水等)のみを用いてもよく、水溶性有機溶媒と水との混和物を使用してもよいが、環境負荷が低く、入手しやすいとの観点から、イオンを除いた水のみが好ましい。以下、イオンを除いた水および水溶性有機溶媒と水との混和物を「水等」ともいう。前記水等には、水溶性粘着剤を加水分解する添加剤を加えてもよい。例えば、アミラーゼ、グルコアミラーゼ、プルナーゼ、セルラーゼ、プロテアーゼなどなどの加水分解酵素を挙げることができる。当該加水分解酵素を使用するときには、高い酵素活性を発現する最適なpH、温度領域で洗浄することが好ましく、また、酵素によってはCa2+などの添加剤などを加えることにより、より酵素活性を高めることもできる。
 水溶性有機溶媒としては、アルコールおよびケトン等を挙げることができるが、好ましくはアルコールである。水溶性有機溶媒を用いる場合、単独で使用してもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。アルコールの例としては、メタノール、エタノール、n-プロパノール、n-ブタノール等を挙げられ、ケトンの例としては、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン等が挙げられる。イオンを除いた水と水溶性有機溶媒との混和物でもよく、混合比は、特に制限はないが、環境負荷の低減の観点から、水溶性有機溶媒の比率が低いほうが好ましい。
 また、前記水等には、狭間隙への水等の侵入性を向上させる目的で界面活性剤を添加剤として加えてもよい。また、その他洗浄性を向上させる添加剤を加えてもよい。
 洗浄工程において、使用される水等の温度は、成分(A)および成分(B)の溶解度により、選択される。例えば、水洗において使用される水等の温度は、10℃以上が好ましく、20℃以上がより好ましく、30℃以上が更に好ましい。
 10℃以上であれば、洗浄後の残渣がない、又は少なくなる傾向のため好ましい。
 また、水洗において使用される水等の温度は、80℃以下が好ましく、70℃以下がより好ましく、60℃以下が更に好ましい。
 80℃以下であれば、エネルギー消費が少なく、低環境負荷のため好ましい。
 また、加水分解酵素を用いる場合は、各酵素で活性の高い最適な温度範囲があるので、前記温度で洗浄するのが好ましい。
<(5)乾燥工程>
 配線用基板の乾燥工程は、遠心力で脱水を行う方法(スピンドライヤ)または蒸発性が強く、水混和性の有機溶媒(イソプロパノール等)を用い、有機溶媒で洗浄後乾燥させる方法であってもよい。
 乾燥温度は、溶剤の沸点等において、適宜に設計することができる。
 以下に、実施例により本発明を具体的に説明するが、これらの実施例により本発明の技術範囲が限定されるものではない。
本発明で用いた測定方法および評価方法は以下のとおりである。
[1]測定方法
(1)捕捉用シートの組成計算
 表3及び表4における捕捉用シートにおいて、捕捉用シートに含まれる水分量は、カールフィッシャー法により測定した。また、(A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤は、捕捉用シート製造の乾燥工程で、蒸発等により系中から除かれることがないものとして、水以外の溶媒は、系中から全て除かれたものとして組成を計算した。
(2)粘度の測定
 粘度は、25℃の試料について、回転粘度計(東機産業株式会社製、TVE-25H型粘度計)にて測定した。回転数は、1rpm(ポリグリセリン)、50rpm(グリセリン、PEG600、PPG3000)、100rpm(ジエチレングリコール、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、PEG400、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル)である。
[2]評価方法
(1)粘着力の評価方法
 ガラス板(アズワン、製品名:スライドガラス、厚さ1.0~1.2mm、重さ5g)と部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート(厚さ5μm)とを常温(25℃)でローラーを用いて押し当てた後、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを剥がした。捕捉用シートを貼付したガラス板中央に、直径10mmの円柱状ガラス管の底を押し当て、そのまま手で持ち上げた。そして、ガラス管の底と捕捉用シートが剥がれ、ガラス板が落下するまでの時間を測定した。
 ○:41秒以上落下しなかった。
 △:21~40秒以内に落下した。
 ×:20秒以内に落下した。
(2)タック性の評価方法
 傾斜角度10°の斜面と、斜面下方に連続した水平面とを有する転球装置を用い、水平面に捕捉用シート(厚さ5μm)を貼付するとともに、試験用ボール(材質アルミナ、重さ0.1g、直径4mm)を斜面上方の位置(高さ9mm)から転がし、試験用ボールが停止するまでの距離を測定した。
 ○:9mm以内で停止した。
 △:10~20mm以内で停止した。
 ×:20mm以内で停止しなかった。
 なお、上記粘着力およびタック性は、いずれも部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートの捕捉性を評価するためのものである。
(3)貼付や剥離時の取扱い性の評価方法
 ガラス板(アズワン、製品名:スライドガラス、厚さ1.0~1.2mm、重さ5g)と、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート(厚さ5μm)とを常温(25℃)でローラーを用いて押し当てた後、離型フィルム(ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム)を剥がした。このとき、捕捉用シートが離型フィルムに残り、糸曳きや泣き別れが発生したかについて、目視により確認した。
 ○:糸曳きや泣き別れは発生しなかった。
 △:糸曳きや泣き別れがわずかに発生した。
 ×:糸曳きや泣き別れが複数発生した、または貼付自体ができなかった。
 表1、2は、実施例及び比較例のシート製造に用いる原料(部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物)の成分及び割合を示したものである。表3、4は、原料(部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物)を用いて製造したシート(部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート)の各成分の質量に基づく比率と評価結果を示したものである。
[実施例1]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 ポリビニルピロリドン(第一工業製薬株式会社、K-30)50質量部、ポリエチレングリコール(日油社製、PEG#400)35質量部を、イオン交換水350質量部に溶解させ、ポリビニルピロリドン溶液を得た。
 離型処理されたポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(リンテック株式会社製、6502)に、ポリビニルピロリドン溶液を、アプリケータを使用し、塗布した。
 100℃で乾燥し、膜厚が5μmの捕捉用シートを得た。なお、以下の実施例及び比較例における乾燥時の温度としては、溶媒がイオン交換水又はエタノールの場合は100℃とし、溶媒が1-ブタノールの場合は120℃とする。
[実施例2]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(第一工業製薬株式会社、K-50)50質量部、ジエチレングリコール45質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例3]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-85N)50質量部、エチレングリコール60質量部を、1-ブタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例4]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-85N)50質量部、ポリエチレングリコール(日油社製、PEG#400)70質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例5]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-85N)50質量部、ポリエチレングリコール(富士フィルム和光純薬株式会社、PEG#600)80質量部を、1-ブタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例6]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-85N)50質量部、ポリプロピレングリコール(富士フィルム和光純薬株式会社、PPG#3000)90質量部を、1-ブタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例7]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-85N)50質量部、プロピレングリコール110質量部を、1-ブタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例8]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-90N)50質量部、ポリグリセリン(株式会社ダイセル製、PLG 20PW)130質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例9]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-90N)50質量部、ポリグリセリン(株式会社ダイセル製、PLG 20PW)140質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例10]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルアルコール(日本合成化学工業株式会社製、ゴーセノール(登録商標)GR-14)50質量部、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル40質量部を、イオン交換水350質量部に溶解したポリビニルアルコール溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例11]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリアクリル酸(株式会社日本触媒製、AS-58)50質量部、グリセリン100質量部を、イオン交換水350質量部に溶解したポリアクリル酸溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例12]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、プルラン(株式会社林原製)50質量部、ポリエチレングリコール(富士フィルム和光純薬株式会社、PEG#600)80質量部、グリセリン20質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したプルラン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[実施例13]
(捕捉用シートの製造)
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-85N)30質量部、ポリビニルアルコール(日本合成化学工業株式会社製、ゴーセノール(登録商標)GR-14)20質量部、グリセリン90質量部を、イオン交換水100質量部及び1-ブタノール250質量部に溶解した混合溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、捕捉用シートを得た。
[比較例1]
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(第一工業製薬株式会社、K-30)50質量部、ポリエチレングリコール(日油社製、PEG#400)25質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、比較用シートを得た。
[比較例2]
 実施例1におけるポリビニルピロリドン溶液の代わりに、ポリビニルピロリドン(株式会社日本触媒、K-90N)50質量部、ポリグリセリン160質量部を、エタノール350質量部に溶解したポリビニルピロリドン溶液を用いた以外、同様にして、比較用シートを得た。
 実施例及び比較例において使用した成分(A)である水溶性粘着剤の重量平均分子量Mwは、以下のとおりである。
・ポリビニルピロリドン
 K-30 45,000、K-50 250,000、
 K-85N 340,000、K-90N 360,000
・ポリビニルアルコール(GR-14) 29,000
・ポリアクリル酸(AS-58) 800,000
・プルラン 200,000
PEG:ポリエチレングリコール
PPG:ポリプロピレングリコール
 各実施例(実施例1~13)と比較例1とを比較すると、タック性の評価結果から、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5以下であり、固形分である成分(A)の割合が所定値より高くなることで、タックが小さく、試験用ボールの勢いを止めることができないことが分かる。つまり、タックが小さいことで、シート特性が弾性寄りになるため、比較例1では、衝突してきた部品を受け止める能力が低くなる一方、各実施例においては、十分な衝撃吸収性を発揮することが示された。
 また、各実施例(実施例1~13)と比較例2とを比較すると、粘着力及び取扱い性の評価結果から、(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が3.0より大きく、液状分である成分(B)の割合が所定値より高くなることで、シートが伸びてしまう。これにより、比較例2では、シートの粘着性や取扱い性が低下し、工業的に使用困難となる一方、各実施例においては、十分な粘着力を発揮するとともに、取扱い性も良好であることが示された。
 本発明の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物及び部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートは、部品の捕捉用組成物及び捕捉用シートとして好適に用いることができる。特に、電子部品の製造において、半導体素子を基板上に配置する際の部材として好適に用いられる。
 また、本発明の電子部品の製造方法は、基板上の所望する位置で部品(半導体素子など)の捕捉が容易となり、高精度かつ効率的な製造が可能な製造方法として好適に利用される。

Claims (10)

  1.  (A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含む部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、
     前記(B)水溶性可塑剤の粘度は、常温(25℃)で50000mPa・s以下であり、前記(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する前記(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下であることを特徴とする、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  2.  (A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含む部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、
     前記(B)水溶性可塑剤は常温(25℃)で液状であり、かつ、分子量が5000以下であり、前記(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する前記(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下であることを特徴とする、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  3.  (A)水溶性粘着剤および(B)水溶性可塑剤(前記成分(A)を除く。)を含む部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物において、
     前記(A)水溶性粘着剤の重量平均分子量が1.0×10以上、1.0×10以下であり、前記(A)水溶性粘着剤の含有量に対する前記(B)水溶性可塑剤の含有量の割合((B)/(A))が0.5より大きく、3.0以下であることを特徴とする、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  4.  前記(A)水溶性粘着剤が、ビニルアルコール系重合体、ビニルピロリドン系重合体、アクリル系重合体及び糖類からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の水溶性粘着剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1、2ないし3に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  5.  前記(B)水溶性可塑剤は常温(25℃)で液体の一価または多価のアルコールであることを特徴とする、請求項1、2ないし3に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  6.  前記(B)水溶性可塑剤の沸点が、120℃以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1、2ないし3に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  7.  前記(B)水溶性可塑剤が、グリセリン、ジグリセリン、ポリエチレングリコール、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール及びポリプロピレングリコールから選択される少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1、2ないし3に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物。
  8.  請求項1、2ないし3に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物をシート状に成形した層を有することを特徴とする、部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シート。
  9.  請求項1、2ないし3に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着組成物を用い、部品の捕捉を行う工程を含むことを特徴とする、電子部品の製造方法。
  10.  請求項8に記載の部品捕捉用水溶性粘着シートを用い、部品の捕捉を行う工程を含むことを特徴とする、電子部品の製造方法。
