 本発明は、端末装置、無線中継装置、移動体、無線通信システム、無線通信方法、及びプログラムに関する。

解決しようとする課題
 ところで、移動体が無線中継装置の機能を備える場合、端末装置は、移動体が移動可能であることを考慮して、適切な接続先に接続する必要があるという課題がある。本願は上記課題を解決することで、移動体における通信の安定性を向上し得る。そして、延いては交通の安全性をより一層改善して持続可能な輸送システムの発展に寄与し得る。
一般的開示
 本発明の第1の態様においては、端末装置が提供される。前記端末装置は、無線中継装置から同報送信される同報データを受信する通信部を備える。前記端末装置は、前記同報データから前記無線中継装置の位置情報を取得し、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と前記端末装置の位置情報との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する制御部を備える。
 上記端末装置において、前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されておらず、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と前記端末装置の位置情報との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 上記いずれかの端末装置において、前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されおり、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と前記端末装置の位置情報との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 上記いずれかの端末装置において、前記制御部は、前記通信部が異なるタイミングで受信した複数の同報データから前記無線中継装置の変位を取得し、前記無線中継装置の変位と、前記端末装置の変位との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行させてよい。
 上記いずれかの端末装置において、前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されておらず、前記無線中継装置の変位と前記端末装置の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 上記いずれかの端末装置において、前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されており、前記無線中継装置の変位と前記端末装置の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 上記いずれかの端末装置において、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理は、周辺基地局測定結果を送信する処理を含んでよい。
 上記いずれかの端末装置において、前記同報データは、報知情報として同報送信されるデータであってよい。
 本発明の第2の態様においては、プログラムが提供される。前記プログラムは、コンピュータを、上記いずれかの端末装置として機能させる。
 本発明の第3の態様においては、無線中継装置が提供される。前記無線中継装置は、端末装置と無線基地局との間の通信を中継する。前記無線中継装置は、前記端末装置の現在位置を示す情報を含む同報データを同報送信するとともに、前記端末装置の現在位置を示す端末位置情報を受信する通信部を備える。前記無線中継装置は、前記端末位置情報が示す前記端末装置の現在位置と前記無線中継装置の現在位置との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する制御部を備える。
 上記無線中継装置において、前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されており、前記端末位置情報が示す前記端末装置の現在位置と前記無線中継装置の現在位置との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。

 本発明の第4の態様においては、移動体が提供される。前記移動体は、上記いずれかの無線中継装置を備える。
 本発明の第5の態様においては、プログラムが提供される。前記プログラムは、コンピュータを上記いずれかの無線中継装置として機能させる。
 本発明の第6の態様においては、無線通信方法が提供される。前記無線通信方法は、無線中継装置から送信される同報データを受信する段階を備える。前記無線通信方法は、前記同報データから前記無線中継装置の位置情報を取得し、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と端末装置の位置情報との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する段階を備える。
 本発明の第7の態様においては、無線通信方法が提供される。前記無線通信方法は、端末装置と無線基地局との間の通信を中継する無線中継装置において実行される。前記無線通信方法は、前記端末装置の現在位置を示す情報を含む同報データを同報送信するとともに、前記端末装置の現在位置を示す端末位置情報を受信する段階を備える。前記無線通信方法は、前記端末位置情報が示す前記端末装置の現在位置と前記無線中継装置の現在位置との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する段階を備える。

 無線基地局120は、1つ以上の移動通信方式に対応する移動通信基地局である。同様に、無線中継装置110及び端末装置140は、1つ以上の移動通信方式に対応する無線通信装置である。本実施形態では、無線基地局120、無線中継装置110及び端末装置140が対応する移動通信方式は、例えば、第4世代移動通信システム(4G)、第5世代移動通信システム(5G)等の移動通信システムで用いられる移動方式通信であってよい。
 無線基地局120は、特定の位置に固定された基地局である。無線基地局120のそれぞれは、セルを形成し、セルを形成することにより無線中継装置110及び端末装置140と無線通信を行う。例えば、セル180aは無線基地局120aが形成するセルであり、セル180bは無線基地局120bが形成するセルであり、セル180cは無線基地局120cが形成するセルである。本実施形態において、セル180a、セル180b及びセル180cを、符号の末尾を省略して「セル180」と総称する場合がある。
 無線中継装置110は、端末装置140に対して無線基地局としてのサービス提供を行うための機能を有するとともに、無線基地局120に対しては端末装置としてのサービス提供を受けるための機能を有する。無線中継装置110は、端末装置140と無線基地局120との間の通信を中継する。端末装置140は、無線基地局120を介してコアネットワークにアクセスすることができる。端末装置140は、無線基地局120と直接に無線通信することができない場合でも、無線中継装置110及び無線基地局120を介してコアネットワークにアクセスすることができる場合がある。
 移動体100は、移動可能な機器である。移動体100は、例えば、バス等の自動車、電車等の車両である。車両は輸送機器の一例である。移動体100は、無人航空機を含む各種の航空機、人工衛星、船舶等であってよい。移動体100aは、無線中継装置110aを備える。移動体100bは、無線中継装置110bを備える。したがって、無線中継装置110aは移動体100aとともに移動可能であり、無線中継装置110bは移動体100bとともに移動可能である。
 したがって、移動体100aが無線基地局120aのセル180a内に位置する場合、無線中継装置110aは、移動体100aに乗っているユーザが所持する端末装置140aと無線基地局120aとの間の通信を中継する。移動体100bが無線基地局120bのセル180b内に位置する場合、無線中継装置110bは、移動体100bに乗っているユーザが所持する端末装置140bと無線基地局120bとの間の通信を中継する。
 本実施形態の無線通信システム5において、無線中継装置110は、無線中継装置110の現在位置情報を報知情報に含めて送信する。本実施形態における報知情報は、無線中継装置110が同報送信する「同報データ」の一例である。端末装置140は、端末装置140の現在位置と無線中継装置110の現在位置とに基づいて、端末装置140が移動体100内に存在すると判断される場合に、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続するための処理を行う。一方、端末装置140は、端末装置140の現在位置と無線中継装置110の現在位置とに基づいて、端末装置140が移動体100外に存在すると判断される場合に、端末装置140が無線中継装置110以外の無線通信装置(例えば、無線基地局120等)に接続するための処理を行う。無線中継装置110の現在位置情報は、例えば無線中継装置110の地理的な現在位置を示す情報、例えば、緯度経度情報を含んでよい。
 例えば、端末装置140は、端末装置140が無線基地局120に接続されている場合において、端末装置140が移動体100内に存在すると判断される場合には、周辺基地局測定の測定結果を送信し、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されるようにする。端末装置140は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されている場合において、端末装置140が移動体100外に存在すると判断される場合には、周辺基地局測定の測定結果を送信し、端末装置140が無線基地局120に接続されるようにする。これにより、端末装置140は、端末装置140が移動体100内に存在する場合は無線中継装置110に接続され、端末装置140が移動体100外に存在する場合は近隣の無線基地局120に接続されるようにすることができる。
 図2は、無線中継装置110のシステム構成の一例を示す。無線中継装置110は、無線基地局120と端末装置140との間の通信を中継する。無線中継装置110は、制御部200と、記憶部210と、通信部220とを備える。
 制御部200は、無線中継装置110全体の制御を行う。通信部220は、無線基地局120及び端末装置140との間の無線通信を担う。制御部200は、プロセッサを含む演算処理装置により実現される。記憶部210は、不揮発性の記憶媒体を備えて実現される。制御部200は、記憶部210に格納された情報を用いて処理を行う。制御部200は、CPU、ROM、RAM、I/O及びバス等を備えたマイクロコンピュータによって実現されてよい。無線中継装置110は、コンピュータによって実現されてよい。無線中継装置110は、単一のコンピュータによって実現されてよい。無線中継装置110は、複数のコンピュータによって実現されてよい。無線中継装置110の機能は、仮想化技術を用いて実現される仮想システムによって実現されてよい。
 通信部220は、端末装置140の現在位置を示す情報を含む同報データを同報送信するとともに、端末装置140の現在位置を示す端末位置情報を受信する。本実施形態において、同報データは、報知情報として同報送信されるデータである。報知情報は、無線通信システム5におけるシステム情報であってよい。システム情報は、システム情報ブロック(SIB)であってよい。同報データは、制御プレーンで送信されるデータであってよい。制御部200は、端末位置情報が示す端末装置140の現在位置と無線中継装置110の現在位置との比較結果に基づいて、端末装置140の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する。
 制御部200は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されており、端末位置情報が示す端末装置140の現在位置と無線中継装置110の現在位置との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、端末装置140の接続先を無線中継装置110以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する。
 制御部200は、通信部220が異なるタイミングで受信した端末位置情報から、端末装置140の変位を取得し、端末装置140の変位と無線中継装置110の変位との比較結果に基づいて、端末装置140の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行させてよい。
 制御部200は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されており、端末装置140の変位と無線中継装置110の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、端末装置140の接続先を無線中継装置110以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 図3は、端末装置140のシステム構成の一例を示す。端末装置140は、無線中継装置110を介して無線中継装置110との間で通信を行う。端末装置140は、制御部400と、記憶部410と、通信部420ととを備える。
 制御部400は、端末装置140全体の制御を行う。通信部420は、無線中継装置110及び端末装置140との間の無線通信を担う。制御部400は、プロセッサを含む演算処理装置により実現される。記憶部410は、不揮発性の記憶媒体を備えて実現される。制御部400は、記憶部410に格納された情報を用いて処理を行う。制御部400は、CPU、ROM、RAM、I/O及びバス等を備えたマイクロコンピュータによって実現されてよい。端末装置140は、コンピュータによって実現されてよい。端末装置140は、単一のコンピュータによって実現されてよい。端末装置140は、複数のコンピュータによって実現されてよい。端末装置140の機能は、仮想化技術を用いて実現される仮想システムによって実現されてよい。
 通信部420は、無線中継装置110から同報送信される同報データを受信する。本実施形態において、同報データは、報知情報として同報送信されるデータである。同報データは、制御プレーンで送信されるデータであってよい。制御部400は、同報データから無線中継装置110の位置情報を取得し、同報データから取得した位置情報と端末装置140の位置情報との比較結果に基づいて、端末装置140の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する。
 制御部400は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されておらず、同報データから取得した位置情報と端末装置140の位置情報との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高くなった場合に、端末装置140の接続先を無線中継装置110に切り替えるための処理を実行する。端末装置140の接続先を切り替えるための処理は、周辺基地局測定結果を送信する処理を含んでよい。
 制御部400は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されおり、同報データから取得した位置情報と端末装置140の位置情報との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、端末装置140の接続先を無線中継装置110以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する。
 制御部400は、通信部420が異なるタイミングで受信した複数の同報データから無線中継装置110の変位を取得し、無線中継装置110の変位と、端末装置140の変位との比較結果に基づいて、端末装置140の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行させてよい。
 制御部400は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されておらず、無線中継装置110の変位と端末装置140の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高くなった場合に、端末装置140の接続先を無線中継装置110に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 制御部400は、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されており、無線中継装置110の変位と端末装置140の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、端末装置140の接続先を無線中継装置110以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行してよい。
 図4は、端末装置140aが移動体100a外に存在し、端末装置140aが無線基地局120aに接続されている場合を示す。ここでは、移動体100がバスである場合を取り上げて、端末装置140aを所持するユーザ90がバスを利用する場合の端末装置140の接続先を説明する。
 移動体100aが端末装置140aの近くに移動すると、端末装置140aは、無線中継装置110aの報知情報を受信する。報知情報には、無線中継装置110aの現在位置を示す情報が含まれる。無線中継装置110aは、例えば全球測位衛星システム(GNSS)衛星から送信される測位信号に基づいて、無線中継装置110aの現在位置を算出する機能を有する。無線中継装置110aは、測位信号から算出した無線中継装置110aの現在位置を報知情報に含めて送信する。
 端末装置140aは、無線中継装置110aと同様に、例えば全球測位衛星システム(GNSS)衛星から送信される測位信号に基づいて、端末装置140aの現在位置を算出する機能を有する。端末装置140aは、無線基地局120aから周辺基地局測定制御命令を受信すると、無線中継装置110aから受信した報知情報に含まれる無線中継装置110aの現在位置と端末装置140aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離以上であると判断した場合には、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を抑制する。これにより、ユーザ90が移動体100aに乗車していないにもかかわらず、端末装置140aの接続先が無線中継装置110aに切り替わることを抑制することができる。これにより、端末装置140aが無線基地局120aに接続された状態を維持し易くなる。
 なお、無線中継装置110aから送信される報知情報は、無線中継装置110aが移動可能な無線中継装置である旨の情報を含んでよい。端末装置140aは、無線中継装置110aが移動可能な無線中継装置である旨の情報を含まない場合には、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を送信しなくてよい。無線中継装置110aから送信される報知情報は、無線中継装置110aに接続するために受信信号の品質が満たすべき条件を含んでよい。端末装置140aは、無線中継装置110aから受信した信号の品質が当該条件を少なくとも満たすことを条件として、周辺基地局測定結果を送信しなくてよい。無線中継装置110aは、報知情報に含める受信信号の品質が満たすべき条件として、予め定められた値より低い品質条件を設定してよい。例えば、無線中継装置110aは、報知情報に含める受信信号の品質の下限値として、予め定められた値より低い値を設定してよい。これにより、端末装置140aを無線中継装置110aに接続させ易くすることができる。
 図5は、ユーザ90が移動体100aに乗車した場合を示す。端末装置140aは、無線中継装置110aから受信した報知情報に含まれる無線中継装置110aの現在位置と端末装置140aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離より短くなったと判断すると、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を促進し得る。これにより、端末装置140aを所持するユーザ90が移動体100aに乗り込むと、無線中継装置110aからの電波の受信状況に応じて、端末装置140aの接続先が無線中継装置110aに切り替わり易くなる。
 図6は、ユーザ90が移動体100aに乗車している状態で移動体100が走行している場合を示す。端末装置140aは、互いに異なるタイミングで受信した報知情報のそれぞれに含まれる無線中継装置110aのそれぞれのタイミングでの現在位置から、無線中継装置110aの変位を算出する。また、端末装置140aは、互いに異なるタイミングで測位した無線中継装置110aのそれぞれのタイミングでの現在位置から、端末装置140aの変位を算出する。
 無線中継装置110aの変位は無線中継装置110aの移動速度であってよく、端末装置140aの変位は端末装置140aの移動速度であってよい。無線中継装置110aの変位は無線中継装置110aの移動方向であってよく、端末装置140aの変位は端末装置140aの移動方向であってよい。
 端末装置140aは、算出した無線中継装置110aの変位と端末装置140aの変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高い場合、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を抑制し得る。これにより、ユーザ90が移動体100aに乗車中に無線基地局120bからの電波の受信強度が比較的に高くなった場合に、端末装置140aの接続先が無線中継装置110aから無線基地局120bに切り替わってしまうことを抑制することができる。これにより、端末装置140aが無線中継装置110aに接続された状態を維持し易くなる。
 図7は、ユーザ90が移動体100aから降車した場合を示す。端末装置140aは、無線中継装置110aから受信した報知情報に含まれる無線中継装置110aの現在位置と端末装置140aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離以上になったと判断した場合には、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を促進し得る。これにより、端末装置140aの接続先が近傍の無線基地局120bに切り替わり易くなる。このように、ユーザ90が移動体100aに乗車していないにもかかわらず、端末装置140aが無線中継装置110aに接続された状態が維持されてしまうことを抑制することができる。
 ところで、ユーザ90が移動体100aから降車した後に移動体100aが走行を開始した場合、端末装置140aは、互いに異なるタイミングで受信した報知情報のそれぞれに含まれる無線中継装置110aのそれぞれのタイミングでの現在位置から無線中継装置110aの変位を算出するとともに、互いに異なるタイミングで測位した無線中継装置110aのそれぞれのタイミングでの現在位置から端末装置140aの変位を算出する。端末装置140aは、算出した無線中継装置110aの変位と端末装置140aの変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値以下になった場合には、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を促進する。これにより、ユーザ90が移動体100aから降りた後に端末装置140aと無線中継装置110aとの接続状態が維持されていたとしても、無線中継装置110aの変位が端末装置140aの変位が一致しなくなったことに応じて、端末装置140aの接続先を近隣の無線基地局120bに切り替わり易くすることができる。
 図8は、無線通信システム5において実行される無線通信方法に係るシーケンスの一例を示す。図8のシーケンスに沿って、図4の接続状態から図7の接続状態になるまでに実行される主な処理を説明する。
 本シーケンスの開始時には、例えば図4に示されるように端末装置140aは無線基地局120aに接続されている状態にあるとする。つまり、端末装置140aは、無線基地局120aに接続されて通信中であり(S11)、端末装置140aは無線基地局120aを通じてコアネットワークに接続される。
 移動体100aが端末装置140aの位置に近づき、無線基地局120aから周辺基地局測定制御命令が送信される(S12)。また、端末装置140aは、移動体100aに設けられた無線中継装置110aから定期的に送信される報知情報を受信することができるようになる(S13)。ユーザ90が移動体100aに乗車すると、端末装置140aの制御部400は、受信した報知情報に含まれる無線中継装置110aの現在位置と端末装置140aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離より短くなった場合に、端末装置140aが移動体100a内にあると判断する。この場合、端末装置140aの制御部400は、無線中継装置110aからの電波の受信状態を測定し、電波の受信状態の測定結果を無線中継装置110aに送信する(S14)。
 無線基地局120aは、端末装置140aから受信した測定結果に基づいて、端末装置140aの接続先を無線基地局120aから無線中継装置110aに切り替えることができると判断すると、無線基地局120aは、無線中継装置110aに切替要求を送信する(S15)とともに、端末装置140aに接続先を切り替える旨の切替指示を送信する(S16)。さらに、無線基地局120aは、通信接続先の切り替え対象となる端末装置140aの識別情報とともに、未送信のデータを無線中継装置110aに転送する(S17)。
 無線基地局120aは、端末装置140aとの間で回線の同期処理を行う(S18)とともに、パス切替要求をコアネットワークに送信する(S19)。コアネットワークによって無線基地局120aから無線中継装置110aへのパス切り替えが行われる(S20)。これにより、図5に示されるように端末装置140aが無線中継装置110bに接続され、端末装置140aが無線中継装置110aを通じて無線基地局120a及びコアネットワークと通信可能となる(S22)。
 移動体100aがユーザ90と共に移動している間は、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との間の距離は予め定められた距離より短く、かつ、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値より高い状態が継続する。この場合、端末装置140aの制御部400は、端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを抑制すると判断し、周辺基地局測定結果の送信を抑制する。
 例えば、端末装置140aの制御部400は、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との差が予め定められた距離より短く、かつ、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値より高い場合、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離以上である、又は、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値以下である場合に比べて、周辺基地局の測定及びその測定結果を送信すると判断するための判断基準を厳しくする。例えば、端末装置140aの制御部400は、周辺基地局の測定及びその測定結果を送信すると判断するための判断基準となる電波強度の閾値を高くする。これにより、端末装置140aと無線中継装置110aとの間の接続が維持され易くなる。
 続いて、移動体100aが無線基地局120bのセル180b内で停車し、ユーザ90が移動体100aから降車した場合を説明する。S30において、無線中継装置110aから端末装置140aに周辺基地局測定指示が送信される。端末装置140aの制御部400は、無線基地局120aから受信した報知情報に含まれる無線中継装置110aの現在位置と端末装置140aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離以上になると、端末装置140aが移動体100a外に出たと判断する。この場合、端末装置140aの制御部400は、無線中継装置110aからの電波の受信状態を測定し、電波の受信状態の測定結果を無線中継装置110aに送信する(S31)。
 無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、測定結果に基づいて、端末装置140aの接続先を無線基地局120bに切り替えるべきと判断すると、無線中継装置110aの通信部220は、無線基地局120bに切替要求を送信する(S32)とともに、端末装置140aに接続先を切り替える旨の切替指示を送信する(S33)。さらに、無線中継装置110aの通信部220は、接続先の切り替え対象となる端末装置140aの識別情報とともに、未送信のデータを無線基地局120bに転送する(S34)。
 無線基地局120bは、端末装置140aとの間で回線の同期処理を行う(S35)とともに、パス切替要求をコアネットワークに送信する(S36)。コアネットワークによって無線中継装置110aから無線基地局120bへのパス切り替えが行われる(S37)。これにより、端末装置140aの接続先が無線中継装置110aから無線基地局120aに切り替わり、端末装置140aと無線基地局120aとの間の通信が開始される(S39)。
 図9は、無線通信システム5において実行される無線通信方法に係るシーケンスの一例を示す。図9に示すシーケンスは、端末装置140aが端末装置140aの現在位置情報を無線中継装置110に送信するステップS33を含み、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110の現在位置に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを判断する処理を端末装置140aが行う点で、図8に示すシーケンスと相違する。そのため、主として図8のシーケンスとの相違点を説明する。
 端末装置140aが無線中継装置110aに接続されている間、端末装置140aの通信部420は、端末装置140aの位置情報を定期的に無線中継装置110aに送信する(S23)。移動体100aがユーザ90と共に移動している間は、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との間の距離は予め定められた距離より短く、かつ、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値より高い状態が継続する。この場合、無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを抑制すると判断し、端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを抑制する。
 例えば、無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との差が予め定められた距離より短く、かつ、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値より高い場合、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離以上である、又は、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値以下である場合に比べて、周辺基地局測定結果に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを判断するための判断基準を厳しくする。例えば、無線基地局120aの制御部200は、接続先を切り替える判断するための判断基準となる接続先の電波強度の閾値を高くする。これにより、端末装置140aと無線中継装置110aとの間の接続が維持され易くなる。
 次に、移動体100aが無線基地局120bのセル180b内で停車し、ユーザ90が移動体100aから降車した場合を説明する。無線中継装置110の制御部200は、端末装置140aから受信した端末装置140aの現在位置と端無線中継装置110の現在位置との間の距離が予め定められた距離以上になると、端末装置140aが移動体100a外に出たと判断する。この場合、無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを促進する。例えば、無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、接続先を切り替える判断するための判断基準となる接続先の電波強度の閾値を低くする。これにより、例えば無線基地局120aから無線基地局120bへの切替要求が送信され易くなり、端末装置140aの接続先を早めの切り替えを促進することができる。
 図9の例では、端末装置140aが無線中継装置110aに接続されている場合に、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110aの位置情報に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを判断する場合を説明した。しかし、無線中継装置110aは、端末装置140aが無線基地局120aに接続されている場合において、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110aの位置情報に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを判断してもよい。例えば、図9のS15において切替要求を受信した場合に、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110aの位置情報に基づいて、切替要求を受け付けるか否かを判断してよい。例えば、無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との差が予め定められた距離より短い、及び/又は、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値より高い場合に、無線基地局120aからの切替要求を受け付けると判断してよい。また、無線中継装置110aの制御部200は、端末装置140aの現在位置と無線中継装置110aの現在位置との差が予め定められた距離以上である、及び/又は、端末装置140aの変位と無線中継装置110aの変位の一致度が予め定められた値以下である場合に、無線基地局120aからの切替要求を受け付けないと判断してよい。
 他の変形例として、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110aの位置情報に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先の切り替えを判断する処理を、無線基地局120aが行う形態を採用してもよい。無線基地局120aは、無線中継装置110aの現在位置を、端末装置140aから定期的に受信するとともに、端末装置140aの現在位置を、端末装置140aから、又は、無線基地局120aを通じて、定期的に受信する。無線基地局120aは、例えば図9に関連して説明し無線中継装置110の処理と同様に、端末装置140aが無線基地局120aに接続されている場合において、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110aの位置情報に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先を無線中継装置110a切り替えるか否かを判断し、端末装置140aの接続先を切り替えると判断した場合に、無線中継装置110aに切替要求を送信してよい。さらに、無線基地局120aは、端末装置140aが無線中継装置110aに接続されている場合において、端末装置140a及び無線中継装置110aの位置情報に基づいて端末装置140aの接続先を切り替えるか否かを判断し、無線中継装置110aに端末装置140aの切り替えをすべき旨の指示を無線基地局120aに送信してよい。
 以上に説明した無線通信システム5によれば、端末装置140の位置情報及び無線中継装置110の位置情報に基づいて、端末装置140が移動体100内に存在すると判断される場合には、端末装置140が無線中継装置110に接続されるよう促すことができる。さらに、端末装置140の位置情報及び無線中継装置110の位置情報に基づいて、端末装置140が移動体100外に存在すると判断される場合には、端末装置140が無線中継装置110以外の無線通信装置に接続されるよう促すことができる。これにより無線中継装置110による通信の安定性を向上させることができ、延いては、移動体100における交通の安全性を高めることができる。
 図10は、本発明の複数の実施形態が全体的又は部分的に具現化され得るコンピュータ2000の例を示す。コンピュータ2000にインストールされたプログラムは、コンピュータ2000を、実施形態にかかるシステム又はシステムの各部、もしくは無線基地局、無線中継装置及び端末装置等の各種装置又は当該装置の各部として機能させる、当該システム又はシステムの各部もしくは当該装置又は当該装置の各部に関連付けられるオペレーションを実行させる、及び/又は、実施形態に係るプロセス又は当該プロセスの段階を実行させることができる。そのようなプログラムは、コンピュータ2000に、本明細書に記載の処理手順及びブロック図のブロックのうちのいくつか又はすべてに関連付けられた特定のオペレーションを実行させるべく、CPU2012によって実行されてよい。
 本実施形態によるコンピュータ2000は、CPU2012、及びRAM2014を含み、それらはホストコントローラ2010によって相互に接続されている。コンピュータ2000はまた、ROM2026、フラッシュメモリ2024、通信インタフェース2022、及び入力/出力チップ2040を含む。ROM2026、フラッシュメモリ2024、通信インタフェース2022、及び入力/出力チップ2040は、入力/出力コントローラ2020を介してホストコントローラ2010に接続されている。
 CPU2012は、ROM2026及びRAM2014内に格納されたプログラムに従い動作し、それにより各ユニットを制御する。
 通信インタフェース2022は、ネットワークを介して他の電子デバイスと通信する。フラッシュメモリ2024は、コンピュータ2000内のCPU2012によって使用されるプログラム及びデータを格納する。ROM2026は、アクティブ化時にコンピュータ2000によって実行されるブートプログラム等、及び/又はコンピュータ2000のハードウエアに依存するプログラムを格納する。入力/出力チップ2040はまた、キーボード、マウス及びモニタ等の様々な入力/出力ユニットをシリアルポート、パラレルポート、キーボードポート、マウスポート、モニタポート、USBポート、HDMI(登録商標)ポート等の入力/出力ポートを介して、入力/出力コントローラ2020に接続してよい。
 プログラムは、CD-ROM、DVD-ROM、又はメモリカードのようなコンピュータ可読記憶媒体又はネットワークを介して提供される。RAM2014、ROM2026、又はフラッシュメモリ2024は、コンピュータ可読記憶媒体の例である。プログラムは、フラッシュメモリ2024、RAM2014、又はROM2026にインストールされ、CPU2012によって実行される。これらのプログラム内に記述される情報処理は、コンピュータ2000に読み取られ、プログラムと上記様々なタイプのハードウエアリソースとの間の連携をもたらす。装置又は方法が、コンピュータ2000の使用に従い情報のオペレーション又は処理を実現することによって構成されてよい。
 例えば、コンピュータ2000及び外部デバイス間で通信が実行される場合、CPU2012は、RAM2014にロードされた通信プログラムを実行し、通信プログラムに記述された処理に基づいて、通信インタフェース2022に対し、通信処理を命令してよい。通信インタフェース2022は、CPU2012の制御下、RAM2014及びフラッシュメモリ2024のような記録媒体内に提供される送信バッファ処理領域に格納された送信データを読み取り、読み取った送信データをネットワークに送信し、ネットワークから受信された受信データを、記録媒体上に提供される受信バッファ処理領域等に書き込む。
 また、CPU2012は、フラッシュメモリ2024等のような記録媒体に格納されたファイル又はデータベースの全部又は必要な部分がRAM2014に読み取られるようにし、RAM2014上のデータに対し様々な種類の処理を実行してよい。CPU2012は次に、処理されたデータを記録媒体にライトバックする。
 様々なタイプのプログラム、データ、テーブル、及びデータベースのような様々なタイプの情報が記録媒体に格納され、情報処理にかけられてよい。CPU2012は、RAM2014から読み取られたデータに対し、本明細書に記載され、プログラムの命令シーケンスによって指定される様々な種類のオペレーション、情報処理、条件判断、条件分岐、無条件分岐、情報の検索/置換等を含む、様々な種類の処理を実行してよく、結果をRAM2014にライトバックする。また、CPU2012は、記録媒体内のファイル、データベース等における情報を検索してよい。例えば、各々が第2の属性の属性値に関連付けられた第1の属性の属性値を有する複数のエントリが記録媒体内に格納される場合、CPU2012は、第1の属性の属性値が指定されている、条件に一致するエントリを当該複数のエントリの中から検索し、当該エントリ内に格納された第2の属性の属性値を読み取り、それにより予め定められた条件を満たす第1の属性に関連付けられた第2の属性の属性値を取得してよい。
 上で説明したプログラム又はソフトウエアモジュールは、コンピュータ2000上又はコンピュータ2000近傍のコンピュータ可読記憶媒体に格納されてよい。専用通信ネットワーク又はインターネットに接続されたサーバーシステム内に提供されるハードディスク又はRAMのような記録媒体が、コンピュータ可読記憶媒体として使用可能である。コンピュータ可読記憶媒体に格納されたプログラムを、ネットワークを介してコンピュータ2000に提供してよい。
 コンピュータ2000にインストールされ、コンピュータ2000を無線中継装置110として機能させるプログラムは、CPU2012等に働きかけて、コンピュータ2000を、無線中継装置110の各部としてそれぞれ機能させてよい。これらのプログラムに記述された情報処理は、コンピュータ2000に読込まれることにより、ソフトウエアと上述した各種のハードウエア資源とが協働した具体的手段である無線中継装置110の各部として機能する。そして、これらの具体的手段によって、本実施形態におけるコンピュータ2000の使用目的に応じた情報の演算又は加工を実現することにより、使用目的に応じた特有の無線中継装置110が構築される。
 コンピュータ2000にインストールされ、コンピュータ2000を無線基地局120として機能させるプログラムは、CPU2012等に働きかけて、コンピュータ2000を、無線基地局120の各部としてそれぞれ機能させてよい。これらのプログラムに記述された情報処理は、コンピュータ2000に読込まれることにより、ソフトウエアと上述した各種のハードウエア資源とが協働した具体的手段である無線基地局120の各部として機能する。そして、これらの具体的手段によって、本実施形態におけるコンピュータ2000の使用目的に応じた情報の演算又は加工を実現することにより、使用目的に応じた特有の無線基地局120が構築される。
 コンピュータ2000にインストールされ、コンピュータ2000を端末装置140として機能させるプログラムは、CPU2012等に働きかけて、コンピュータ2000を、端末装置140の各部としてそれぞれ機能させてよい。これらのプログラムに記述された情報処理は、コンピュータ2000に読込まれることにより、ソフトウエアと上述した各種のハードウエア資源とが協働した具体的手段である端末装置140の各部として機能する。そして、これらの具体的手段によって、本実施形態におけるコンピュータ2000の使用目的に応じた情報の演算又は加工を実現することにより、使用目的に応じた特有の端末装置140が構築される。
 様々な実施形態が、ブロック図等を参照して説明された。ブロック図において各ブロックは、(1)オペレーションが実行されるプロセスの段階又は(2)オペレーションを実行する役割を持つ装置の各部を表わしてよい。特定の段階及び各部が、専用回路、コンピュータ可読記憶媒体上に格納されるコンピュータ可読命令と共に供給されるプログラマブル回路、及び/又はコンピュータ可読記憶媒体上に格納されるコンピュータ可読命令と共に供給されるプロセッサによって実装されてよい。専用回路は、デジタル及び/又はアナログハードウエア回路を含んでよく、集積回路(IC)及び/又はディスクリート回路を含んでよい。プログラマブル回路は、論理AND、論理OR、論理XOR、論理NAND、論理NOR、及び他の論理オペレーション、フリップフロップ、レジスタ、フィールドプログラマブルゲートアレイ(FPGA)、プログラマブルロジックアレイ(PLA)等のようなメモリ要素等を含む、再構成可能なハードウエア回路を含んでよい。
 コンピュータ可読記憶媒体は、適切なデバイスによって実行される命令を格納可能な任意の有形なデバイスを含んでよく、その結果、そこに格納される命令を有するコンピュータ可読記憶媒体は、処理手順又はブロック図で指定されたオペレーションを実行するための手段をもたらすべく実行され得る命令を含む製品の少なくとも一部を構成する。コンピュータ可読記憶媒体の例としては、電子記憶媒体、磁気記憶媒体、光記憶媒体、電磁記憶媒体、半導体記憶媒体等が含まれてよい。コンピュータ可読記憶媒体のより具体的な例としては、フロッピー(登録商標)ディスク、ディスケット、ハードディスク、ランダムアクセスメモリ(RAM)、リードオンリメモリ(ROM)、消去可能プログラマブルリードオンリメモリ(EPROM又はフラッシュメモリ)、電気的消去可能プログラマブルリードオンリメモリ(EEPROM)、静的ランダムアクセスメモリ(SRAM)、コンパクトディスクリードオンリメモリ(CD-ROM)、デジタル多用途ディスク(DVD)、ブルーレイ(RTM)ディスク、メモリスティック、集積回路カード等が含まれてよい。
 コンピュータ可読命令は、アセンブラ命令、命令セットアーキテクチャ(ISA)命令、マシン命令、マシン依存命令、マイクロコード、ファームウェア命令、状態設定データ、又はSmalltalk(登録商標)、JAVA(登録商標)、C++等のようなオブジェクト指向プログラミング言語、及び「C」プログラミング言語又は同様のプログラミング言語のような従来の手続型プログラミング言語を含む、1又は複数のプログラミング言語の任意の組み合わせで記述されたソースコード又はオブジェクトコードのいずれかを含んでよい。
 コンピュータ可読命令は、汎用コンピュータ、特殊目的のコンピュータ、若しくは他のプログラム可能なデータ処理装置のプロセッサ又はプログラマブル回路に対し、ローカルに又はローカルエリアネットワーク(LAN)、インターネット等のようなワイドエリアネットワーク(WAN)を介して提供され、説明された処理手順又はブロック図で指定されたオペレーションを実行するための手段をもたらすべく、コンピュータ可読命令を実行してよい。プロセッサの例としては、コンピュータプロセッサ、処理ユニット、マイクロプロセッサ、デジタル信号プロセッサ、コントローラ、マイクロコントローラ等を含む。
 以上、本発明を実施の形態を用いて説明したが、本発明の技術的範囲は上記実施の形態に記載の範囲には限定されない。上記実施の形態に、多様な変更または改良を加えることが可能であることが当業者に明らかである。その様な変更または改良を加えた形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれ得ることが、請求の範囲の記載から明らかである。
 請求の範囲、明細書、および図面中において示した装置、システム、プログラム、および方法における動作、手順、ステップ、および段階等の各処理の実行順序は、特段「より前に」、「先立って」等と明示しておらず、また、前の処理の出力を後の処理で用いるのでない限り、任意の順序で実現しうることに留意すべきである。請求の範囲、明細書、および図面中の動作フローに関して、便宜上「まず、」、「次に、」等を用いて説明したとしても、この順で実施することが必須であることを意味するものではない。

Claims (18)

  1.  端末装置であって、
     無線中継装置から同報送信される同報データを受信する通信部と、
     前記同報データから前記無線中継装置の位置情報を取得し、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と前記端末装置の位置情報との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する制御部と
    を備える端末装置。
  2.  前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されておらず、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と前記端末装置の位置情報との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する
    請求項1に記載の端末装置。
  3.  前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されおり、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と前記端末装置の位置情報との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する
    請求項1又は2に記載の端末装置。
  4.  前記制御部は、
      前記通信部が異なるタイミングで受信した複数の同報データから前記無線中継装置の変位を取得し、
      前記無線中継装置の変位と、前記端末装置の変位との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行させる
    請求項1に記載の端末装置。
  5.  前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されておらず、前記無線中継装置の変位と前記端末装置の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より高くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する
    請求項4に記載の端末装置。
  6.  前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されており、前記無線中継装置の変位と前記端末装置の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する
    請求項4又は5に記載の端末装置。
  7.  前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理は、周辺基地局測定結果を送信する処理を含む
    請求項1、2、4及び5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の端末装置。
  8.  前記同報データは、報知情報として同報送信されるデータである
    請求項1、2、4及び5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の端末装置。
  9.  コンピュータを請求項1、2、4及び5のいずれか一項に記載の端末装置として機能させるためのプログラム。
  10.  端末装置と無線基地局との間の通信を中継する無線中継装置であって、
     前記端末装置の現在位置を示す情報を含む同報データを同報送信するとともに、前記端末装置の現在位置を示す端末位置情報を受信する通信部と、
     前記端末位置情報が示す前記端末装置の現在位置と前記無線中継装置の現在位置との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する制御部と
    を備える無線中継装置。
  11.  前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されており、前記端末位置情報が示す前記端末装置の現在位置と前記無線中継装置の現在位置との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する
    請求項10に記載の無線中継装置。
  12.  前記制御部は、
      前記通信部が異なるタイミングで受信した前記端末位置情報から、前記端末装置の変位を取得し、
      前記端末装置の変位と前記無線中継装置の変位との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行させる
    請求項10に記載の無線中継装置。
  13.  前記制御部は、前記端末装置が前記無線中継装置に接続されており、前記端末装置の変位と前記無線中継装置の変位との間の一致度が予め定められた値より低くなった場合に、前記端末装置の接続先を前記無線中継装置以外の無線通信装置に切り替えるための処理を実行する
    請求項12に記載の無線中継装置。
  14.  前記同報データは、報知情報として同報送信されるデータである
    請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の無線中継装置。
  15.  請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の無線中継装置を備える移動体。
  16.  コンピュータを請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載の無線中継装置として機能させるためのプログラム。
  17.  無線中継装置から送信される同報データを受信する段階と、
     前記同報データから前記無線中継装置の位置情報を取得し、前記同報データから取得した位置情報と端末装置の位置情報との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する段階と
    を備える無線通信方法。
  18.  端末装置と無線基地局との間の通信を中継する無線中継装置において実行される無線通信方法であって、
     前記端末装置の現在位置を示す情報を含む同報データを同報送信するとともに、前記端末装置の現在位置を示す端末位置情報を受信する段階と、
     前記端末位置情報が示す前記端末装置の現在位置と前記無線中継装置の現在位置との比較結果に基づいて、前記端末装置の接続先を切り替えるための処理を実行する段階と
    を備える無線通信方法。
