  • the inventors have studied polytetrafluoroethylene and found that polytetrafluoroethylene, which is useful as a binder for electrochemical devices such as batteries, tends to fibrillate more easily than ordinary polytetrafluoroethylene when stored or transported in a container. In applications where large amounts of polytetrafluoroethylene are used, partial fibrillation does not pose a major problem, but when used as a binder for electrochemical devices, the amount used is small and the impact of fibrillation is significant, so there is a strong need to suppress fibrillation.

脱離率=(W2/W1)×100 (%)
