Abstract
Se refiere al agregado de poliisobutileno a una corriente predominantemente gaseosa en un procedimiento para la prevención del corte de gotitas dehidrocarburos en la corriente en tamanos de aerosoles en corrientes predominantementegaseos as. Es difícil remover las gotitas de tamanos deaerosoles de las corrientes gaseosas con eliminadores de vaho, depuradores, filtros o similares. Generalmente, las gotitas del tamano de aerosol se creancuando una corrientepredominantemente gaseos a que contiene algo de líquido se pasa a una velocidad relativamente alta a través de un orificio, válvula,curvatura, marca obturador o similares, o se somete a compresión mediante una turbina. El agregado depoliisobutileno mejoraría la eficie ncia de separaciónde los eliminadores de vaho, depuradores, filtros o similares. Asimismo, cuando los rellenos de los eliminadores de vaho o el compresor posee sus cuchillasrevestidas con poliisobutileno, sereduce el arrastre sobre las gotitas, lo que da como resultado un menor corte de las gotitas en tamanos de aerosol.Esto a su vez resultaría en una diseminación mínimo de las gotitas y un menor desgaste sobre las cuchillas del compresor.
