Abstract
Un proceso para la recuperación de azufre de una corriente de gas que contiene SO2 a través de la conversión catalítica de la misma a azufreelemental, que comprende la conversión de SO2 y H2S en presencia de azufre líquido y un sistemacat alizador a base de un catalizador heterogéneo quecataliza la reacción Claus, mientras que como promotor para la reacción Claus se encuentra presente un compuesto de nitrógeno básico en el azufre líquido.
