Abstract
El presente invento provee una celda de flotacion que incluye un tanque y un impulsor dispuesto de manera giratoria en el tanque para suspender solidosy dispersar aire en una fase de pulpa o lechada en el tanque, generando de esa manera espuma apart ir de la fase de pulpa. Una pluralidad de placasdeflectoras estacionarias orientadas substancialmente de manera radial están dispuestas en el tanque para reducir momento angular de la espuma mientrasque mejoran el momento radial de la misma.Cada una de las placas deflectoras se extiende esencialmente a través de toda la capa de espuma y la fasede pulpa o lechada. El invento prevé, una pluralidad de lavaderos orientados radialmente en comunicacion de fluido con un lavaderocircunferencial, dispu estosen el tanque, y un lavadero secundario, concéntrico con el lavadero central, también colocado en el tanque. Los lavadores radiales están en comunicacionde fluido con los lavaderos centrales y el lavadero secundario. Estared de lavaderos permite recoger espuma en diversos puntos por toda lacelda de flotacion, aumentando de esa manera la eficiencia de recoleccion de espuma.
