Abstract
La presente se refiere a productos para la higiene personal descartables tal como panales, productos para la higiene de la mujer y productos para la incontinencia del adulto. Más específicamente, la presente se refiere a los productos que tienen integridad de nucleo absorbente y absorbencia de nucleo mejoradas. Estos productos eliminan la necesidad de adhesivos costosos. La presente también comprende un método para hacer los productos de la invencion. El método incluye formar una pluralidad de compresiones localizadas mediante la compresion ultrasonica del nucleo de fibra natural entre, aunque no necesariamente adyacente a, por lo menos un material fundible superior y por lo menos un material fundible subyacente. La periferia del artículo es entonces unida mediante medios convencionales, tal como adhesivos, plegado o fusion. Este proceso reduce los costos asociados con la fabricacion de dichos artículos mediante la eliminacion o reduccion de la cantidad de adhesivos en el producto final, y mediante la eliminacion de los procedimientos de union costosos e intermitentes. El método también mejora el continuo del nucleo absorbente sin aumentar los costos de material y de fabricacion asociados con estos productos.
