Abstract

Se proveen composiciones para la preparacion de productos herbicidas en forma de polvo humectable y suspension en polvo que contienen agentes agroquímicos de bajo punto de fusion, tales como ésteres de bromoxinilo. Las composiciones preferidas son sustancias fundidas en conjunto de ésteres de bromoxinilo con al menos un herbicida o pesticida adicional, particularmente atrazina. Las composiciones de la invencion tienen puntos de fusion más elevados que el componente de éster de bromoxinilo, y por lo tanto, tienen ventajas en el sentido que el uso de disolventes y/o portadores en las formulaciones puede evitarse o minimizarse. Las composiciones pueden ser procesadas en polvos secos sin los problemas asociados con el ablandamiento o fusion de ésteres de bromoxinilo puros durante la trituracion o molienda, y sin la necesidad de dilucion del producto con cantidades sustanciales de portadores inactivos. Las composiciones que contienen las mezclas no pierden selectividad en presencia de adyuvantes oleosos.
