Abstract
Se describe una bomba y un sistema de bombeo de desplazamiento dual, en la que el sistema incluye una bomba de subsuelo, una columna de tubería de producción, una unidad de bombeo en superficie conectada a la bomba de subsuelo por un medio que transmite movimientos recíprocos. La bomba de subsuelo incluye un barril de bomba montado en el final de la columna de tubería de producción, y un émbolo-pistón montado al final del medio de acción recíproca. Válvula que en el movimiento descendente del émbolo-pistón tienen por objeto forzar el fluido del extremo inferior del barril de la bomba al interior del medio de acción recíproca, y llenar el extremo superior del barril de la bomba con fluido del pozo. Las mismas también durante el movimiento ascendente del émbolo-pistón fuerzan el fluido desde el extremo superior del barril de la bomba dentro de la columna de tubería de producción, y llenan la parte inferior del barril de la bomba con fluido del pozo. En consecuencia, ambos movimientos del ciclo de bombeo son aprovechados, casi duplicando el volumen de fluido bombeado por un sistema de superficie de bombeo convencional.
