Abstract

Un filtro para remover agua de un fluido lipófilo que comprende un agente absorbente que tiene una capacidad absorbente de por lo menos 50g de agua/gramo de agente absorbente. Dicho filtro donde el agente absorbente tiene un tamano promedio de partícula de 5 micrones a 500 micrones y donde dicho agente absorbente se selecciona del grupo consistente en agentes de hidrogel, agentes que contienen acrilato, agentes que contienen acrilamida, agentes que contienen celulosa y mezclas de los mismos. Un filtro mecánico absorbente de agua que comprende: una caja de filtro; un orificio de entrada en dicha caja para recibir un filtrado; un orificio de salida en dicha caja para liberar un filtrado; una cantidad de agente absorbente de agua que tienen una capacidad absorbente de por lo menos 50 g de agua/g de agente absorbente dispersado a través y fijado al cuerpo antes mencionado, la distribución del agente absorbente dentro del cuerpo antes mencionado siendo superior más cerca de dicho orificio de salida que de dicho orificio de entrada. Un aparato que comprende dicho filtro y una fuente de agua y/o fluido lipófilo que contiene surfactante en donde el agua y/o el fluido lipófilo que contiene surfactante está en comunicación fluida con el filtro. Un proceso para remover agua y surfactante de un fluido lipófilo que comprende contactar dicho filtro con el fluido lipófilo de modo que el agua y el surfactante son eliminados del fluido lipófilo.
