Abstract
El aparato de la presente incluye una disposición de vasija de metal fundido para metal fundido, la disposición comprende: (a) una vasija que contiene un metal fundido adaptada para contener y distribuir el metal fundido, la vasija presente superficies interior y el metal fundido forma una superficie superior; (b) una boquilla de ingreso sumergida que se extiende por debajo de la superficie superior; y (c) una superficie y/o un miembro modificador de flujo sumergido dispuesto entre al menos una de dichas superficies interior y la boquilla de ingreso sumergida. La superficie y/o modificaciones de flujo sumergidos trabajan para impedir la formación de ondas en la superficie superior del metal fundido. La presente además incluye un método para mejorar la calidad del proceso de fundición continuo.
