Abstract
La presente se refiere a un elemento de enfriamiento (1) para ser utilizado en la estructura de un reactor pirometalúrgico como por ejemplo un horno, empleado en procesos de metal, donde dicho elemento de enfriamiento comprende una caja (2) realizada en cobre o aleaciones de cobre, provista con un sistema de canal (3) para la circulación del agente de enfriamiento, caracterizado porque un soporte (6) realizado en cobre o en aleaciones de cobre se encuentra unido a la caja (2) y dispuesto esencialmente por debajo del revestimiento (5) de la pared del reactor (4), de manera que se crea una unión metalúrgica en la confluencia (7) entre la caja y el soporte. La presente se refiere a un método para la fabricación de un elemento de enfriamiento para ser utilizado en la estructura de un reactor pirometalúrgico, como por ejemplo un horno, empleado en los procesos de metales.
