Abstract
Un método para operar una estacion movil en un sistema de radioteléfonos de acceso multiple por division de codigos (CDMA) que incluye una pluralidad de estaciones de base que transmiten una secuencia de ruido pseudoaleatorio (PN) corta que incluye un indicador de sincronizacion del sistema que comprende un límite de retorno de PN de la secuencia de PN corta, el método comprende los pasos de: (a) determinar un balance entre un reloj de resolucion fina y un reloj de resolucion gruesa; (b) ingresar en un modo de inactividad de baja potencia; (c) sincronizar una duracion de la inactividad usando el reloj de resolucion gruesa; (d) sincronizar el reloj de resolucion fina de la estacion movil con el límite de retorno de PN de la secuencia de PN corta correlacionando una secuencia de PN corta generada en la estacion movil; determinar un equilibrio entre la senal del reloj de referencia y la senal de reloj inactivo basado en la precision de sincronizacion; ajustar la sincronizacion de la senal de reloj inactivo combinando la precision de sincronizacion de la senal de reloj inactivo y el equilibrio; e ingresar en un modo de inactividad de baja potencia durante una duracion de tiempo que está basada en la senal de reloj inactivo ajustada.
