Abstract

Se provee un medio de informacion optica (20) para grabar, tal como un DVD-blue, y un método para fabricar tal medio (20). La lectura y grabacion en el medio (20) se lleva a cabo por medio de un haz de radiacion concentrado (10) teniendo una longitud de onda de radiacion lambda y una apertura numérica NA. Dicho medio posee un sustrato (1), y una pila (2) de capas provista sobre el mismo. La pila (2) comprende al menos una primera pila de grabacion (3) y k capas transmisoras del haz de radiacion (4,5). Cada capa de transmision (4,5) tiene un índice de refraccion ni y un grosor promedio di microm y 1<=i<=k y k<=2. El grosor dk de la capa k (5) es determinado por una formula simple que depende de los parámetros ni para i=1...k y di para i=1...k-1. Tal medio (209 posee una aberracion esférica de cero o substancialmente cero en el punto focal, estando en la capa de grabacion de la primera fila de grabacion (3), de dicho haz de radiacion (10).
