Abstract

Productos porcinos mejorados para el consumo humano y métodos para producir dichos productos porcinos por incorporacion de lípidos saludables que contienen ácido estearidonico a los productos que se usan para alimentar los cerdos. Además, proporciona métodos para producir dichos productos. En un forma de realizacion se puede alimentar un animal con un pienso que comprende un producto derivado de una planta transgénica. En otras formas de realizacion, se divulgan productos de carne porcina para el consumo humano, donde dichos productos cárnicos comprenden SDA, EPA, y DHA, En formas de realizacion adicionales, se divulgan productos porcinos que comprenden perfiles de ácidos grasos.
