Abstract
Reivindicacion 1: Una planta de ma¡z transgenica caracterizada porque comprende una secuencia codificante sintetica optimizada para ma¡z, que codifica una toxina insecticida, donde dicha toxina insecticida es activa contra el gusano perforador del ma¡z europeo y comprende una secuencia de amino cidos que tiene al menos 93% de identidad con SE ID Nø:2. Reivindicacion 4: Una semilla de ma¡z transgenica de una planta de ma¡z transgenica de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-3, caracterizada porque la semilla comprende la secuencia codificante sintetica optimizada para ma¡z.
