Abstract
Un método para introducir una molécula de interés en una célula vegetal que posee una pared de célula incluye hacer interactuar un péptido de gamma-zeína con una molécula de interés para formar una estructura unida a gamma-zeína. La estructura unida a gamma-zeína se coloca luego en contacto con la célula vegetal que posee una pared de célula y se permite la captacion de la estructura unida a la gamma-zeína hacia la célula vegetal. Alternativamente, un gen de interés se puede expresar en una célula vegetal que posee una pared celular intacta mediante la interaccion de un péptido de gamma-zeína con el gen de interés para formar una estructura de gen unida a la gamma-zeína, para permitir la absorcion de la estructura de gen unida a la gamma-zeína hacia la célula vegetal, y expresar el gen de interés en la célula vegetal y su progenie.
