Abstract
Cepas de Streptomyces microflavus y métodos para su uso en el control de enfermedades o plagas de una planta. También se relaciona con un caldo de fermentación obtenido mediante cultivo de una cepa de Streptomyces productora de gougerotina, en donde el caldo de fermentación contiene por lo menos 2 g/I aproximadamente de gougerotina. También se relaciona con un método para producir un caldo de fermentación de una cepa de Streptomyces productora de gougerotina, en donde dicho caldo de fermentación contiene por lo menos aproximadamente 2 g/I de gougerotina, y dicho método comprende cultivar la cepa de Streptomyces en un medio de cultivo que contiene una fuente de carbono digerible y una fuente de nitrógeno digerible bajo condiciones aeróbicas.
