Abstract
El impulsor de doble función puede rotarse en metal fundido en una orientación de rotación, como parte de un inyector giratorio. El impulsor puede tener un cuerpo que tiene un eje, una pluralidad de cuchillas separadas entre sí en forma circunferencial alrededor de un eje, y una apertura que coincida con el eje. Las cuchillas tienen ambas una porción que se extiende en sentido radial que enfrenta la dirección de rotación y genera colectivamente un componente de flujo radial sobre dicha rotación, y una porción inclinada que además enfrenta la dirección de rotación, inclinada con relación a un plano radial, y genera colectivamente un componente de flujo radial dirigido hasta alejarse del inyector giratorio sobre dicha rotación. Reivindicación 11: Un proceso de tratamiento de un metal fundido con el uso de un inyector giratorio que tiene un impulsor y una salida axial, caracterizado porque comprende en forma simultánea: generar ambos un componente de flujo radial y un componente de flujo axial en el metal fundido por rotación del impulsor; inyectar por lo menos uno de material en partículas o gas a través del impulsor; y cortar el por lo menos uno de material en partículas o gas inyectado con la dinámica del impulsor giratorio.
