Würde man hier z.

as soon as the eccentric is turned, they all start moving at the same time and the creation of the impression begins immediately. By inserting the ball 12 between the lever 2 and the stamp 7 during the transfer of the pressure, it is possible to avoid disadvantageous shocks and vibrations of the lever 2 if the rotation of the eccentric is carried out only approximately uniformly. If you were here z. If, for example, a cutting edge is arranged in a known manner, vibrations of the lever could be caused by the fact that a displacement of the cutting edge against its support occurs in the sample, even if only slight.
This shift cannot be prevented if one wants to keep the simple arrangement of the weight generating the pressure on only one lever, since every point of the lever is on an arc of a circle during the downward movement required for the generation of the pressure, but every point of the stamp moving in a straight line. If, on the other hand, the lever rests on a ball, this small displacement is without disadvantage, since the ball can be rotated and the lever can slide over it without great friction.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Hardness testing machine with a weight-loaded lever that transfers the pressure to the pressure ball by means of a stamp, characterized by a spring (10) which holds the upper end of the stamp (7) pressed against the lever (2).
