Process for the production of hollow bodies with a special inner layer.
The invention relates to a method of providing the inner wall of hollow bodies made of air-permeable material with a special layer.
Processes are known, particularly when using paper pulp, in which air-permeable hollow bodies are produced in molds with permeable walls with the aid of a heated air-shaped pressure medium. Up to now, however, it has not been possible to provide the inner wall of air-permeable hollow bodies themselves with an inner layer of a pulpy substance with the aid of a heated, air-shaped pressure medium (compressed air, steam, etc.) in such a way that the water and air particles pass through the walls of the covering hollow body escape and the pulp solidifies on the inner wall of the hollow body to form a coating. Through such an inner layer, the hollow body can, for. B. airtight, grease-tight, light-tight or colored inside differently than outside.
To z. B. to provide a bottle made of paper with a grease-proof inner layer, the following procedure is used: The substance intended to achieve grease-proofing (e.g. a pulp containing fiber or resin) is applied by water or pressure and then by means of the heated air pressure medium the inner wall of the bottle deposited. The excess water is pushed through the pores of the bottle. If the bottle, which can also be produced using the conventional method of the cardboard industry, consists of several parts, the water first escapes at the connection points and these are clogged by the pulp, whereupon the remaining pulp is distributed evenly on the inner walls.
After the excess water has been pressed out through the pores of the bottle, the pulp distributed in this way is dried by the heated air pressure medium and solidifies to form a uniform coating.
If the hollow body is to be made opaque or to be made of a different color on the inside, a different paste must be selected for covering. For the introduction of this inner layer it is always a prerequisite that the water or air particles are able to escape through the outer layer.

stood, at least within the same work step and with the same device.
For this purpose, a method is used for the shaping of the hollow body, as well as for that of its inner layer, which makes it possible to produce hollow bodies with water or pressure and with the aid of a heated air pressure medium in molds with permeable walls, u. with the following stipulation: behind the pulp from which the hollow body is to be made, the different type of pulp intended for the production of the inner layer is admitted through the same inlet pipe. During the formation of the hollow body or immediately thereafter, the different type of paste is pressed into the hollow body, and the water contained in it escapes along with the air through the emerging or created outer wall of the hollow body and then through the permeable walls of the actual mold.
Using the same method, it is also possible to cover a hollow body with several inner layers if all the layers in front of the innermost layer are permeable to air.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for forming hollow bodies with a special inner layer, characterized in that the pulp intended to produce the inner layer is deposited on the inner wall of the hollow body by water or pressure and with the aid of a heated air pressure medium (compressed air, steam, etc.) and after the water contained in the pulp is pressed through the perforated walls of the hollow body, is dried.
