Description

Belastung bestimmter Oberfl chenkondensator.

For steam power plants working with superheated steam with strongly changing
Loading of certain surface condenser.

The invention relates to surface capacitors for those working with superheated steam. Mpfkraftanlagen that suffer a strongly changing load during operation. In condensation systems of this type, the exhaust steam from the engine sometimes enters the condenser in an overheated state, so that part of the cooling surface of the condenser must be used to cool the steam to its saturation temperature. This part of the cooling surface is therefore withdrawn from its actual purpose.

Since the heat exchange between the cooling surface and the superheated steam takes place only slowly at the low pressures prevailing in the condenser, a relatively large cooling surface is created for cooling the steam onto the cooling water, despite the greater temperature gradient between the superheated steam and the cooling water compared to saturated steam Saturation temperature claimed.

These disadvantages can be eliminated in a manner known per se in that the steam is brought into contact with finely divided water before it enters the condenser. The invention relates to a device by means of which this purpose is achieved in a simple and effective manner.

In the drawing, an embodiment of such a device is shown schematically in section. The surface condenser b is connected in the usual way to the exhaust steam line a, which opens into an antechamber b2 of the condenser b. In the anteroom b2 an open container K is arranged, which receives constantly wet bodies with a large surface (eg pieces of pumice stone) over which the steam wipes. The superheated steam flowing through line a to the condenser evaporates in anteroom b2 as much water as is necessary to convert it into saturated steam. Beer on it is deposited in the condenser b.

In the condenser, the amount of steam increased by the amount of the evaporated water is deposited, but the cooling surface required for this is considerably smaller than the cooling surface that would be required to bring the superheated steam to saturation without injection water due to the relatively high coefficient of thermal conductivity of the condensing steam.

The rest of the operation of the capacitor and the condensate line do not require any further explanation.

Without changing the invention, the space b2 could also be arranged directly behind the point of consumption in the exhaust steam line. In both cases, fresh water can always be used to saturate the steam, since the separated impurities in the water do not get into the condenser.
