dass das eintretende Kaltwasser, selbst bei heftigem Eindringen sich mit dem austretenden Warmwasser vermischt, so dass es möglich ist, den Behälter vollständig zu entleeren und dabei die ganze darin ent- haltene Wärmemenge auszunutzen. Die mit Bajonettkupplung 23-2.)'versehene Kerze ist an der Ver- schlussschraube 18 der zentralen Bohrung im Boden 7 angebracht, wobei der Stöpsel 13 zugleich als Dichtung und als im genannten Boden verschraubter Verschluss dient.
Die Kerze besteht aus einem inneren Metallrohr 14, um welches unter Zwischenlagerung eines feuerbeständigen elektrischen Isoliermittels 15 von geringer Stärke die Heizspule 16 angeordnet ist.
Mit 17 und 18 sind die Polanselüsse bezeichnet, an die die Enden der Heizspirale angeschlossen sind.
Um die Heizspirale ist unter Zwischenlagerung einer dünnen Schichte 19 aus feuerbeständigem, elektrisch hochisolierendem Material von starker Adhäsion und vorzügliche Wärmeleitungsvermögen eine zylindrische Metallhülse 20 gelegt, die der Kerze aussen eine vollkommen glatte und daher vorzüglich kontaktbildende Oberfläche verleiht und ihr die grösste Fe, tigkeit und Starrheit sichert. Diese Kerze ist nun unter Wahrung der wesentlichen Hauptforderung des innigen Kontaktes zwischen Heizkörper und dem zu beheizenden Material, zwangsweise, d. h. unter vollkommener Anpressung in ein zweites zylindrisches Rohr 22 eingeführt, das mit dem Dichtungspfropfen1. 3 starr verbunden ist und in die im Kessel befindliche Flüssigkeit eintaucht.
Auf das letztere Rohr 22 sind zweckmässig ZyJindersegmente aufgeschoben, die um 90 versetzte radial abstehende Rippen 21 od. dgl. tragen, die den Zweck haben, der Fiissigkeitsmasse die gesamte Wärme mitzuteilen.
