Bei Zwei- und Mchrstoffdampfmaschinen ist es bereits bekannt, die vom Zylinder bzw. der Turbine des ersten Aggregates kommenden Ölabdämpfe innerhalb des benachbarten, für die Flüssigkeit mit dem nächst niedrigeren Siedepunkt bestimmten Verdampfers des zweiten Aggregates zu kondensieren, indem sie ihre Wärme an diesen abgeben. Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung soll auf die Rückbildung des Oabdampfes und die Rückleitung des Kondensats gänzlich verzichtet und der Abdampf in anderer Art, u. zw. restlos verwertet werden, indem er unter Mischung mit Luft verbrannt und so zur Heizung herangezogen wird. Die Einrichtung kann so getroffen werden, dass auf diese Weise unmittelbar der dampfkessel geheizt wird, so dass also auch bei nur einem Kessel ein whtschaftlieher Betrieb ermöglicht wird. Naturgemäss kann die Erfindung aber auch sinngemäss bei Zwei-und Mehrstoffdampfmaschinen Anwendung finden, da die Verbrennung des mit Luft gemischten Ölabdampfes an beliebiger Stelle vorgenommen werden kann.
