  Zylinderkopf für Viertaktverbrennungskraftmaschinen. 



   Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Zylinderkopf einer Viertaktverbrennungskraftmaschine, bei der zwei senkrecht zur Zylinderachse liegende gleichachsige Ventile für den Ein-und Auslass mit einander gegenüberliegenden Tellern vorgesehen sind. Zum Unterschiede von schon bestehenden Ausführungen enthält der Zylinderkopf eine kegelstumpfförmige Verbrennungskammer, in deren kleiner Basisfläche der Sitz für das Einlassventil und in deren grosser Basisfläche der Sitz für das Auslassventil angeordnet ist. 



   Diese Anordnung hat den Zweck, bei einfachster Ausbildung des Zylinderkopfes ein rasches Entweichen der Auspuffgase zu ermöglichen.

Der Kopf des Zylinders 2 enthält die kegelstumpfförmige Verbrennungskammer   1   und die beiden Ventile 3,4, deren Achsen senkrecht zur Zylinderachse liegen ; das Einlassventil 3 liegt mit seinem Teller bzw. Sitz in der kleinen und das Auslassventil 4 mit seinem Teller bzw. Sitz in der grossen   Basisfläche   des Kegelstumpfes.

   The subject matter of the present invention is a cylinder head of a four-stroke internal combustion engine, in which two coaxial valves perpendicular to the cylinder axis are provided for the inlet and outlet with opposing plates. In contrast to existing designs, the cylinder head contains a frustoconical combustion chamber, in whose small base area the seat for the inlet valve is arranged and in whose large base area the seat for the exhaust valve is arranged.



   The purpose of this arrangement is to enable the exhaust gases to escape quickly while the cylinder head is of the simplest design.
