Verfahren zur Herstellung von Buntreserven mit Küpenfarbstoffen unter Küpen- farbstoffen.
Nach dem Stammpatent Nr. 103911 werden Buntreserven mit Küpenfarbstoffen unter Küpenfarbstoffen in der Weise hergestellt, dass man einen oder mehrere Küpenfarbstoffe mit reservierenden neutralen Metallverbindungen auf die, gegebenenfalls vorbereitete Ware aufträgt und allenfalls nach vorherigem Dämpfen in einem Farbbade eines Küpenfarbstoffes ausfärbt, wobei gleichzeitig die Reservierung des Farbstoffes vom Farbbade eintritt. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, dass eine Anzahl der als Reserven verwendeten Metallverbindungen, unbeschadet ihrer reservierenden Wirkung, bei dem dem Drucken bzw. Dämpfen folgenden Färben auch die unangenehme Wirkung zeigt, dass, besonders bei

Eine Anzahl von Metallsalzen zeigt jedoch, wie eingehende Versuche ergeben haben, die Eigenschaft, ausser ihrer reservierenden Wirkung, den oben angegebenen Übelstand zu verhindern.
Die Versuche haben gezeigt, dass z. B. eine Buntreserve, welche Nickelkarbonat oder Magnesiumkarbonat usw. enthält, beim Färben in einer Küpe ohne Farbstoff (diese wurde gewählt, um den Effekt besser beurteilen zu können, als in der farbstoffenthaltenden Küpe) keine oder nur geringe Mengen Illuminationsfarbstoff aus dem Farbstoff in das Farbbad übergehen lässt.
