Electrical contact device.

As Fig. 3 shows in plan view, two such distributors are connected to the main terminals of the radio apparatus. And now, if there are six channels k in each distribution button, six headphones can be connected in parallel by inserting a contact pin from each earpiece into a channel k of one button and the second contact pin into a channel of a second button. No matter how different the contact pins of these headphones are in the usual way, they are still held in the channels under all circumstances.
Where it would be disadvantageous that only point contact is achieved by the ball, the situation can be reversed insofar as balls made of insulating material can also be used, while the sliding surface g (Fig. 1) opposite the ball is made of conductive material and this sliding surface is connected to the power supply lines. The plug is then pressed against the electrically conductive sliding surface g by the balls and can then make a line or surface contact there. This sliding surface g can then also consist of a flexible metal strip, which is the
Able to cling to the plug, which further improves the contact.
Instead of a ball, a series of balls can also be used, e.g. it does not matter whether the balls are conductive or made of insulating material.
So you can see that the principle described can be embodied constructively in different ways. It can also be used for the socket of incandescent lamps, electron tubes, etc. a. m. be used.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electrical contact device, characterized in that in the one contact part against a fixed Gleitfläehe, a ball loaded by a spring or a series of balls is pressed, between the or those and the fixed sliding surface, the other contact part can be inserted, the individual components of the first contact part can be conductive or non-conductive as required.
